Exclusive Jurassic World Live Tour Merchandise Showcased in 4K

When the Jurassic World Live Tour was first announced earlier this year, fans everywhere rejoiced at the fact that yet another exciting Jurassic experience was on the way. Of course, our first reaction here at Collect Jurassic was, “Hopefully there’ll be merchandise, too!”. Visions of Live Tour-exclusive toys and collectibles filled out imagination, but could anything live up to those expectations? Now that the show has officially debuted we can enthusiastically answer “Yes!” to that question. We finally had a chance to attend the Jurassic World Live Tour for ourselves this past weekend during its World Premiere in Chicago, and our expectations for what we hoped to see there were completely blown away.

First off, we don’t intend to provide any kind of in-depth review of the show itself here on Collect Jurassic⁠—please see the wonderful review by the Jurassic Park Podcast if you’d like to know more in that regard. We can only confirm that the show is an absolute blast for Jurassic fans of any age, and the way it connects to the larger film universe as a whole is well thought out and executed in a way that still makes for a great arena show. The dinosaurs themselves were as breathtaking as one can imagine, especially the almighty T-Rex. But enough about the show, let’s head to the merch booth!

As shown in the photo gallery above, there was a lot up for sale at the various stands setup throughout the venue. They all essentially carried the same assortment of apparel, plushes, figures, light-up toys and more—and it was nearly overwhelming even for a seasoned Jurassic collector. good night, my name is Miguel. I am writing to you from Mexico because I wanted to know if you could please sell me stuffed animals merchandise from Jurassic live tour. I saw that there is a Mosasaurus plush and I would like to have one please, it would be my perfect Christmas gift. I can’t go to experience him live from him, but I would wholeheartedly like to have a memory of his wonderful show.

Do you remember if they were selling fridge magnets?

One of the designers is our granddaughter,a graduate of ringling school of art and design.

You have great taste and a great idea for collections. In the future many will say, I wish I had some.

I’d love to own the Gyrosphere, it looks like it fits in very nicely with the Mattel figures. How much is it?

Jurassic World Live Tour: Experience the Adventure in Person

As Jurassic Park celebrates its 30th anniversary, its biggest prehistoric stars return for an encore as part of the Jurassic World Live Tour. Although the Jurassic World trilogy claimed to “conclude the Jurassic Era,” the action-packed performance proves there are still stories to explore, adventures to embark on, and plenty to celebrate as audiences return to the iconic Isla Nuhlar for a larger-than-life encounter. After three decades, Jurassic World Live Tour isn’t ready to close the gates of its antecedent, but rather, welcome people back in to experience it in person.

Jurassic World Live Tour is more than a show and begins before the audience is seated. In the center of the arena, visitors can freely explore a pre-show exhibit. Vehicles such as the iconic Jurassic World gyrospheres and dinosaurs such as the gargantuan Triceratops are on full display, allowing guests to get a closer look while snapping a few selfies. Meanwhile, younger show-goers and fans of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous can meet baby Bumpy, the cartoon’s breakout star, in the coddling arms of a Jurassic World scientist. From the pre-show alone, people can appreciate just how much detail went into Jurassic World Live Tour’s props and puppetry while making them feel as if they’ve just come face to face with a living dinosaur.

Jurassic World Live Show

After guests are seated, the show begins with an in-universe travelogue explaining the lore of Jurassic World and its wondrous attractions. However, after seeing Isla Nublar as it appeared in the films, guests are transported into the center of a gyrosphere safari where they first meet Jeannie (short for “Genius”) and her handler Dr. Walker. Jeannie is a Troodon and the most intelligent dinosaur cloned by Jurassic World scientists. Through a “dino decoder,” Dr. Walker and her team can map out Jeannie’s emotions. Although, after being separated from Jeannie by the Indominous Rex, Dr. Walker, her colleague Dr. Riely, interns Allison and Chad, along with ACU agent Oscar find themselves in the middle of a dino-sized conspiracy as they return to Isla Nublar.

Jurassic World Live Tour is a predominantly family-friendly adventure that utilizes life-sized puppets, pyrotechnics, and stunt work. While many will enjoy the heartfelt story and characters, fans of the series will appreciate how it expands the Jurassic World mythos. Additionally, expect to see many fan favorites such as Blue, Bumpy, Rexy, and the Indominous Rex. Without being overly violent or too scary, Jurassic World Live Tour is an experience made with everyone in mind and spectacle at the heart of it. It’s a way to bring the best of Jurassic World to cities in a condensed, fun, and emotional performance.

Jurassic World Live Merchandise

As expected, merchandise is available for purchase throughout Jurassic World Live Tour. In addition to the usual t-shirts, plushies, and novelty snack containers, highlights include dino decoder replicas, novelty glasses reminiscent of Jurassic Park’s night vision goggles, and a Jurassic World-branded Dino Disc, a boomerang-like toy. Additionally, souvenir photographs are sold as keepsakes to commemorate the event.

The unforgettable Jurassic World score and immersive projection and scenery transport you to the jungles of Isla Nublar. Watch as “real” Gyrospheres roll through the valley as scientists fight to save a new dinosaur. The show includes stunts, sets, props, and an original storyline that fits within the Jurassic World universe.

A collaboration between Feld Entertainment and Universal Live Entertainment, the Jurassic World Live Tour continues an extensive portfolio of projects that include Marvel Universe Live!, A Minion’s Perspective, and Jurassic World: The Exhibition. With Winter performances at the Barclays Center, Prudential Center, Total Mortgage Arena, and UBS Arena, Jurassic World Live is part of a 2023 North American tour, hitting more than two dozen cities. Celebrate 30 Years of Those Iconic Gates with All-New Jurassic Park Content, Merchandise and Events for Fans 65 Million Years in the Making

From new broadcast and digital content, to exclusive products, events, home entertainment releases and much more, fans can celebrate the awe-inspiring film during #JurassicJune and beyond

Universal City, Calif., April 25, 2023 – Universal and Amblin Entertainment are re-opening the park gates for fans, old and new, to honor 30 years of the groundbreaking, blockbuster adventure Jurassic Park . Life finds a way this #JurassicJune and beyond with new broadcast, digital and game content, as well as exclusive merchandise across a variety of categories, a re-release of the film, retail promotions, anniversary celebration events, fan conventions and more. To kick-off the nostalgia-filled anniversary, check out this lost training video from “Jurassic Park” featuring fan favorite, Mr. DNA; a few more episodes in this fun digital series will be available on the Jurassic World YouTube channel later this month.

“The legacy of Jurassic Park is felt across the world,” said Melissa Rodriguez, vice president of franchise strategy for Universal Products & Experiences. “The film has stayed entrenched in the hearts and minds of viewers since its initial release 30 years ago, while also delighting new fans every year. We’re looking forward to celebrating the footprint this film has left on fans globally through special events, unique merchandise, games and more!”

New content for generations of fans to enjoy!

●      Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, Jurassic Park III, and Jurassic World will be available to stream on Peacock beginning June 1.

●     Theatrical re-releases planned for later this year in markets around the world.

●     Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing limited commemorative editions of the film on 4K starting in June (details forthcoming). Jurassic Park and all subsequent installments of the franchise are now available to own on Digital and Disc.

●      Jurassic World YouTube and Jurassic World Kids YouTube channels will have new content monthly for fans of all ages to enjoy, including a behind-the-scenes “making of” video featuring the film’s cast and crew.

Exciting activations celebrating the classic film will be taking place all year long!

●     Across Europe, fans have been asked to get involved with celebrating the 30th anniversary on social, including voting for their favorite original Jurassic Park dinosaur! The fan-favorite winning dinosaurs from each country will be brought to life in epic ways across multiple cities later this summer – be sure to follow #JurassicPark30 to discover more.

●     The Natural History Museum of London is celebrating the anniversary with a special pop-up store that is open now through September 2023. In addition to new merchandise, the museum’s Cranborne Boutique has been redecorated and even includes the iconic gates from the film and the opportunity to take a selfie with a dinosaur.

●     The Jurassic World By Brickman Exhibition moves to New Zealand in June, then Brisbane in December, and a second exhibition will be launching in Sweden in April.

●     Also in Australia, a one-of-a-kind, Jurassic Park -inspired High Tea celebration will be taking place at Cordis Auckland through the end of April.

●     Audiences of the Shanghai International Film Festival will be able to watch all six films - for the first time in China - taking place June 9-18.

●     More details coming soon, but be on the lookout for Jurassic Park gates and dinosaurs coming to a fan convention near you – including some of the world’s biggest Cons, like Comic-Con International in San Diego:

○       Supernova Comic Con in Australia , which just happened April 22-23

○      Comic-Con International in San Diego, July 19-23

○      London Comic Con Winter, November 11-12

○      Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil, November 30 – December 3

●     Additional events taking place throughout the year include Jurassic World : The Exhibition on tour in Canada and Germany, the Jurassic World Live Tour by Feld at key U.S. markets, as well as Jurassic Park in concert with live orchestra (in select cities around the world, including Tokyo and Osaka, Japan ), and more for other US and international regions!

Games and digital collectibles are getting into the action too!

●      Jurassic World Alive , the free-to-play geo-location-based AR game developed by Ludia and Jam City, will feature new gameplay celebrating the most iconic moments of Jurassic Park as well as the original dinosaurs that fans adore. ●     A collaboration with Limited Run Games to release The Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Retro Collection is planned for later this year.
