    General Fics  Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

• Synopsis: Flame Prince sets out to burn Fionna's treehouse to the ground after being rejected. What happens when she finds him caught in the rain and takes him back to her treehouse?
• Pairing: Flame Prince and Fionna

• Status : Complete
• Synopsis : Fionna finally decides to have her boyfriend meet Gumball and Marshall. Unfortunately they already know each other, and still holding grudges.

• Status : Dead Fic
• Synopsis : "Finn has always wondered about his existence. When the past reveals his identity, he must make a choice. Stay with the ones he loves or the ones he wants to love. All the while, one man's imagination tugs at the strings, creating clouds of discord."
• Pairing : None so far.
• Comments : The story is yet to be fully realized but its first chapters have gained well written reviews. The humor sounds like the actual show and doesn't try to force anything on the reader. One user, Ruby Sword (writer of the above The Last Human), points out a Homestuck -style of humor. In addition, there are decent references, including Regular Show and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion . While one user says it's a crossover due to Mordecai and Rigby's appearance, the author has made known that it is mainly Adventure Time and thus, an Adventure Time fanfic. The only complaint is update time. Months could go by before another chapter resurfaces. In addition, the plot has yet to be fully realized. Overall, the style is nice and the plot shows promise.

• Synopsis : "A revelation regarding the fate of one of her closest friends drives Marceline to delve into her own past. Revisiting old scars and uncovering truths about her friends, her family, her world, and most importantly herself."
• Pairing : None
• Comments : Those of you familiar with the MLP/Doctor Who crossovers Time Lords and Terror and Mines of Dragon Mountain will be pleased to know that Hephestus is once again writing, albeit not for the same fandom. The story takes place directly after the episode 'I Remember You' and utilizes Marceline telling Finn and Jake about her history with the Ice King as a framing device for the main narrative. The main narrative so far has focused on Marceline as a child during the mushroom war and effectively portrays how awful such a scenario must have been. Although quite new, the writing is rich and effective and the characterizations are great. This is definitely a fic to keep an eye on.

• Synopsis : Basically how The Lich thinks and feels. Makes him somewhat more understandable (yet alien ), and depending on who you ask even outright bitter, but his reasoning is still quite chilling and inhumane, as he should be.

• Synopsis : After the Mushroom War, the world was mostly magic. But it wasn't all sweet and shiny just yet.
• Comments : Somewhat older and somewhat Jossed three-shot about a young Marceline surviving and adventuring in a post-apocalyptic, pre-Ooo world. Sometimes sad, sometimes sweet and frequently charming.

• Synopsis : Marshall Lee decides to pay a visit on Finn.
• Pairing : Finn and Marshall Lee
• Comments : This one-shot is both heartbreakingly sad and adorable at the same time. I personally don't like the Finn/Marshall pairing, but the author manages to pull it off.

• Synopsis : Princess Bubblegum makes some discoveries about her relationship with her vampire bud on one of their midnight excursions.
• Pairing : Princess Bubblegum and Marceline
• Comments : A heartwarming exploration of Marceline and PB's attraction towards each other, complete with cute science references that are oh so typical for PB. The writing style is also elegant, wordly and detailed, but very far from Purple Prose .

• Synopsis Finn and Jake stumble upon a thousand year old side-quest.
• Comments Short, atmospheric, well written and quite melancholy.

• Synopsis : "Marceline may be a thousand years old, but Princess Bubblegum has been eighteen for a very long time."
• Pairing : Marceline and Princess Bubblegum
• Comments : This is a very sweet, dreamy sort of story from the point of view of Princess Bubblegum that explores several things, but mostly her love of knowledge and duty to her kingdom. I wish it was longer!

• Synopsis : After a mistake almost costs Marceline her life, a young Princess Bubblegum finds herself indebted to the vampire. Years pass as their relationship shifts from enemies, to friends, to mentor/student, and finally peers. This is how it all begins.
• Comments : A fascinating, touching, slightly different Marceline/Bubblegum story. Sparsely updated, but definitely worth it.

• Synopsis Now 17, Finn the Human has become a mature hero of Ooo. However, repressed feelings for Flame Princess are desperately trying to tear him apart, and the fiery girl knows his pain. As an ancient evil rises to consume all existence, a final chance will present itself to Finn and his friends to not only stop the madness but finally unite a couple struggling for each other's love.

• Comments It is so far the longest fanfic in Fanfiction's Adventure Time archive

• Synopsis Marceline is no longer an immortal seventeen year old vampire. Her body has turned thirteen, and it's up to Finn and Jake to help her figure out the mystery of what happened to her. Can she go back to normal? The clock is ticking and time is running out.
• Pairing : Finn and Marceline
• Comments While reading through this I felt as if I were watching an actual episode of Adventure time.

• Synopsis "Finn? What happened to you? Are you okay?" Jake looked scared and he had every reason to be. Finn knew he was pretty torn up, but he hesitated on telling his best friend how he got so injured. He just didn't want Jake to get the wrong idea. Marceline… Marceline hadn't meant it. It was an accident.
• Comments Don't let the title fool you, this is not a shipping fic. This fic deals with the potential dangers that come with being a vampires friend.

• Synopsis "I swear Finn, you're never gonna grow up." Jake would laugh, and then dog-pile Finn to give him a wet-willie. And as Finn catches Jake in a headlock, he replies the same way he always does. "Growin' up is for suckers!"
• Comments : In which we see Finn's life from beginning to end, at both times sad and heartwarming.

• Synopsis The Ice King tries to cheer Marceline up when he realizes he's upset her somehow. "You said I took this picture, didn't you? How about you tell me what we were doing when I took the picture?" Set immediately after I Remember You.
• Comments : A touching look at one of the moments in Simon and Marceline's past.

• Synopsis: This is the story of Shoko.
• Pairing: Shoko and OC
• Comments: It's basically an in-depth look at Shoko's life.

• Synopsis : When another human is found in Ooo, little does anyone know that it is just the beginning of a series of events that will change everything. Ooo will have to deal with war, the return of a lost love, the wrath of a magic crown and penguins if it is to survive.
• Comments : A truly epic fic with amazing plot and tons of awesome, funny, and heartwarming moments that manages to perfectly capture all the insanity of Adventure Time. Definitely worth reading.

• Synopsis : Princess Bubblegum has made her biggest achievement yet, a Time Machine! With Marceline as the test subject, she sets the machine to 1000 years back, only for it to malfunction and instead send Marceline's AGE 1000 years back. Trusting Marceline's safety with Finn, she returns to research. But the main question is "How is a 15 year old going to take care of a baby?"

• Synopsis : When the line that divides each universe in the Multiverse threatens to break, Finn must embark on a journey to defeat the Ice Prince; and not without dire consequences. To make matters worse, a certain hooded boy keeps meddling with him. Who is this so called 'The Third Pillar? - "Look at what she make you give."

• Status : Oneshot
• Sypnosis : When Flame Princess comes to Finn for help, the human must put aside all his feelings in order to help her reclaim her throne.
• Comments : A Fix Fic of "The Red Throne" that rerails Finn from a love-maniac who would flirt with her ex at every opportunity to annoying levels into a hero who would do anything to help his girl, even if he must put aside his feelings for her. While the ending is quite predictable, if you disliked Finn's behaviour in "The Red Throne" and prefer him to act like the true hero he is, then this fan fiction is just for you.

• Synopsis : A young Martin washes up on the Land of Ooo about sixteen years in the future. He becomes overwhelmed with all the mutations he sees, but even then, nothing is more shocking than the news that his son is on the island. It turns out, there's a lot of explaining to do.
• Synopsis : Finn has a lot to learn about the consequences of his actions after Frost and Fire and Too Old. And he's going to get a lesson the hard way.
• Synopsis : "A few weeks after the events of Frost & Fire and 'You Blew It Finn' (a Adventure Time story made by Red Witch), Finn and Jake find a strange egg outside their tree-house. After bringing it to Princess Bubblegum for inspection, they have to tend to the egg as well as their relationships." Sequel to You Blew It Finn By: Red Witch

    Shipping Fics  Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.

• Synopsis : Jake experiences jealousy and loneliness after Finn starts spending more time with Marceline.
• Pairing : Finn and Marceline friendship. So far, anyway.
• Comments : That synopsis is woefully inadequate, but an attempt to explain what this story's about and where it goes would result in my copying the fic word-for-word. If this isn't the best AT fic out there, it's at least the best gen fic. Has the zany feel, snappy dialogue, and subtle bawdiness of the best Adventure Time episodes, not to mention brilliant characterization and action packed action sequences of action. The perfect cure for the end of the season.

• Synopsis : "Following Princess Bubblegum's unexpected marriage to a stranger, a seventeen year old Finn decides to move on from his heartbreak by trying to discover the truth about his heritage, and if he is, in fact, the last of his kind. Finn's POV".
• Pairing : Finn and Marceline.
• Seconded. The Adventure Time section of FF.net can be a painful trawl but finding gems like this makes it all worth it. Absolutely brilliant - Xalts

• Synopsis : Still battling her evil nature, Marceline runs away from her life with Finn, and has to decide what it is she really wants. Oneshot follow-up story to The Last Human.

• Recommended by Deep C
• Synopsis : "A character from Marceline's past is coming to destroy the land of Ooo and Finn must stop it, no matter the cost. Marceline X Finn. For the Tree Stumps contest".
• Comments : This is actually a pretty good fanfic. While there are some spelling errors, the flow of this story is well done. The OC known as the Elder God of Chaos is pulled off quite nicely and is anything but a bland powerhouse. The part with Billy telling Finn that there is no other way to save Ooo but to sacrifice himself is fairly heart-breaking. I would recommend this fanfic for certain. Plus, the ending with Finn becoming a vampire actually caught me by surprise.

• Synopsis : "Finn has adjusted to his new un-life with Marceline, but now a mysterious new group prepares to resurrect an old foe, threatening to devastate Ooo once more".
• Comments : Direct sequel to "The Elder God of Chaos". Once again, this is a pretty well done fanfic and everyone manages to stay in character. The action scenes and the dialogue between Finn and Marceline are fairly amusing.

• Synopsis : As Finn comes to terms with being single again, a chance event leads him face-first into Fionna, and his life in Ooo is forever changed. (AU Finn/FP breakup)
• Pairing : Finn and Fionna
• Comments : Probably the only Finn x Fionna fic worth reading as of now.

• Synopsis : Marshall Lee never expected to take in seven-year-old Marceline, but he does. Years later they're perfect roommates, but what do you do when you fall for someone who shouldn't be in your world? Someone who's you? Then again Marshall Lee does what he wants. Marce Lee all the way.
• Pairing : Marshall Lee and Marceline

• Status: Dormant
• Synopsis Ice King's fanfics are so bad, she just has to show him how it's done. So Marceline tells a story about a bad little boy in a made-up world - but then one night he shows up in hers. Marce Lee , set after "Bad Little Boy". Sequel to Saudade. T for now

• Synopsis "We are opposites, you and I." She wanted it, he wanted it, but his tears had been the ultimate betrayal to them both. "It is impossible for us to be together."
• Comments : A star crossed lovers tale in which Finn tries to find a way to be with Flame Princess.

• Synopsis 19. But, then again...
• Pairing : Marshall Lee and Fionna
• Not to be confused with Eyes Turned Skywards , an alternate history timeline in which Apollo was never replaced by the Space Shuttle.

• Synopsis Ice Queen & Fionna have always been mortal enemies. That's basic science! But things stop making sense after Ice Queen starts playing flirty mind games. Why her? Why now? And why does this sudden battle of heroism versus hormone-ism make Fionna so ANGRY? It's a serial romance/comedy/drama ADVENTURE! [Femslash, rated T: action violence, May/December romance, mild sexual content]
• Pairing : Fionna and Ice Queen

• Sypnosis : Marceline and Princess Bubblegum have been through a lot together, and still have a lot left to learn. Past, present and future scenes from the pair.
• Pairing : Bubblegum and Marceline
• Comments : It doesn't matter if this fan fiction has some lemons in it, it focuses on Bubbline that develops throughout their entire life, from their first meeting till their death. If you're a fan of Bubbline, this fan fiction is just for you.

    Crossover Fics  Fanfiction that combines elements, characters, etc. from two or more different franchises.

• Crossover with: Rise of the Guardians
• Synopsis : People with ice powers weren't all bad, Marceline supposed.
• Comments : A one shot look at the friendship between Marceline and Jack Frost.

• Recommended by Spectacular Troper
• Crossover with : My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic , Steven Universe , Samurai Jack , Wander over Yonder , Infinity Train , and Gravity Falls .
• Status : Ongoing
• Synopsis : The world saw the purple comet, and very few knew what it was. Twilight Sparkle was one of those who had no idea, so she decided she was going on a trip to get some answers. With her friends at her side, she sets her sights on the Candy Kingdom, believing she is prepared for anything. But evil brews in the Candy Kingdom, and she is far from the only individual to have seen the comet. Ancient secrets are about to be unearthed and mysteries from very distant lands will rear their ugly heads. Meanwhile, a ragtag group of misfits is going to go on and adventure. Because what else do you do in a world like this?

    Dark Fiction  Stories focused on making the series darker, and/or exploring the darker aspects of the series.

• Synopsis : This is not an alternative story. Its more of a add-on to The Masterhama's story.

• Synopsis : Slumped in a steep depression, Finn finds a coping mechanism in a close friend of his; even if he isn't fully aware of the situation... Fair warning, rated M for a significant reason.

• Synopsis: Disillusioned and confused about his place in the world. Finn is offered the chance to start over in a new place with those who were long thought to be all but extinct. Will this new home be permanent for him and can he really forget about OOO.
• Pairing: Finn/Flame Princess
• Comments: Wow. Just...wow. This is one of the greatest AT fanfics I have ever read. Not only that, it's one of the best fanfics overall I have ever read. The character development is well-done and believable, the story has heart, humor, and richness, and the Big Bad Lucian reminds me greatly of Lelouch . The The Dragon and Starscream Connor is also a delightfully deranged character who definitely crosses the Moral Event Horizon when...you'll have to read for yourself.

    Alternate Universe Fics  Stories where one fundamental aspect of the series is completely overhauled from its point of origin.

• Synopsis Finn Mertens lives for the sake of his family. He always tries his best to be a good boy and help his father bring some bread home. However, his life won't be as easy as it seems. A series of events could lead him to become either his town's greatest hero or villain. It all starts with a ruthless gang, a messy red-haired girl and a mule.
• Pairing : Farmworld Finn and Flame Princess

• Recommended by: powerespect
• Synopsis : "I can be a saint if you want me to, but I will make a sinner out of you. I'm innocent outside, but I'm about to blow your mind. I'm a little good, a little bad, the best and worst you've ever had. You can see my halo or my horns, so be warned." - AU, high school. Also, a warning: This is quite possibly the slowest burning story you will ever read.
• Pairing : Marceline/Bubblegum
• Comments : High school AU where Bonnibel moves to a small church town and begins tutoring the preacher's daughter, Marceline. The fic moves VERY slow, but the buildup is well worth the wait.

• Synopsis : An AU work. Marceline buys Finn as a slave at a young age, not completely sure of her motivation. How will Finn's twisted psyche develop as Marceline molds him into her perfect servant? Rated M for suggestive themes (possible lemon later), and likely violence.

• Synopsis : Simon gets the power of the crown, but he doesn't lose his sanity or Betty. The war happens and Simon and Betty find Marceline and raise her as their own. The new family face many difficult challenges. There will be love, laughs, and tears. A story in which a hero will rise and help defeat a great evil in the distant future. A different Ooo will rise and take shape.

• The story's fine. However, this troper found the numerous writing errors to get in the way of his enjoyment. If you can overlook some grammar and spelling mistakes you'll enjoy it though. - Sean Devine

• Synopsis : "Find some way to contain her power, or I will." Famous last words for Princess Bubblegum. She should have known that Flame King would just take that as an open invitation to foist his responsibilities off onto her shoulders.
• A change on the typical "X raised by Y" plot line, a well written, charming, and all together lovey story. Chapters can be short, and it's been a long time since an update.

• Synopsis : This fancomic is a fun slice-of-life story set in modern day times featuring Fionna as the MC, with Pen and Finn as her older and younger brothers respectively. Has a manga-like art style and features anthropomorphic designs of many character. There's also a number of fun extras, like the ask pages.
• Comments : The best AT comic on Deviantart I've found. The art is amazing.
• Oh, but do be sure to read the description on the first page so you know the characters relative ages, as they differ from canon. Also note that Pen was the name of the boy character in the original Adventure Time short, so that you don't end up wondering who he is. Be patient, though: updates are slow.

• Synopsis : For centuries, four kingdoms have been locked in eternal war. The Kingdoms of Fire, Ice, Slime and Candy are all positioned to attack, no side able to break the stalemate. However, when the Ice Kingdom finds a frozen human in the ice, the Candy Kingdom prepares to counterattack... The Amnesiac Finn and the Ice King now must join forces and tip the balance of world power, or die.
• Comments : A very in-depth story, with a fun change of pace for almost all the characters involved. All of the characters are different, but not in a way that is completely unbelievable.

It's been a long time coming, I'd say. And with the Fionna and Cake series out now, some folks might be interested in a place to share Adventure Time fic ideas, recommendations, etc. The fun will never end! (maybe)

oh there was recently this discussion in the Amphibia thread of a crossover where the girls ended up in OOO instead of amphibia through different means than the box (mainly surviving the Apocalypse) Marcy got the Ice Crown. Anne got turned into a Tree Person Sasha managed to survive as a vampire

Steve gets unfrozen and is just… kinda lost. The land of Ooo is just too weird and alien for him, and while Finn loves the idea of teaming up with an old hero like Captain America he really doesn't have much of a use for a father figure (especially post Martin). Serene sleep gives way to terror. All three warriors suddenly stir with discomfort. Sweat upon each brow. Breathing becoming harder yet faster. Within Connie's dream she is in battle with an ancient evil on a dock. The sea is green with glowing ooze, the buildings burning in green flames. Corpses strewn about the dock rise and take a horned vistage each. All as the young girl hoists up her sword once more with tired arms and a glare in her gaze. The Lich taunts Connie as he reaches out a hand; "Ah ha haha! Surrender warrior and lay down your soul to fate. I've taken your friends, your family. It is but a matter of time until I take you." Connie swings her blade true and severs the boney mitt from its arm; "I'm not giving up! ... I... i can't give up...!" The crushed stony bodies of the Gems rise up and recombine, their glow driving the Lich and his army back. A smile forms on the Pink Warrior as they begin to take form. The silhouettes of familiar friends emitting from the gems. Yet Connie's hopeful smile falls as her foe's twisted grin mocks her. The light of her friends' bodies turn a sickly green, even while growing more familiar in shape, and the scent of warfare in the air. "Give up Connie." "Join us..." "...and die." The Pink warrior's eyes widened in horror. She ran fast and away as green inferno bursts out from the skeletal army and destroys the pier. Elsewhere in the endless corridors of the dreamscape, the strums of guitar conclude and applause roars. On a glowing stage, Marceline stands on a throne of cards. Playing to an audience of familiar faces. What appeared to be the Vampire King spoke; "Wonderful song your majesty. I like the part about the cooing with-..." The Hierophant interjects as he stomped his boot: "Raarrgh! What's with this newfangled lute music? I'm not a fan." The Empress drank from a wine glass before scoffing; "We are stuck in her head for eternity and you want to give me a headache with your incessant complaining!?" The Vampire King with his bovine companion stepped into the stage and pointed to the throne; "Marceline, don't you think it's about time you retook The Moon?" Marceline responded with confusion; "What? She's right here--..." and stared to a missing leg and trail of pearls leading through the stage; "Oh Grod…" Da Fool sits on a light fixture overhead and exclaims; "Hey! Didn't you guys wonder where I was?!" Marceline rummaged through the stage as she addressed the Vampire King; "How did she get out, how could she get out?!". The sound of wood snapping burst fourth as she smashed holes to look for the missing Vampire. The King chuckled lightly; "The Moon has always been a sadistic enigma. In the past she crept into sacred groves through the nightmarish predation she inflicted on survivors." Marceline huffed; "What?" The King rubbed his chin: "Perhaps she left her mark on your… less resilient friends. The boy and dog perhaps?". Down the endless doorways of the dreamscape… Within Finn and Jake's dreams there are only memories replaying. Battles against venomous beasts and snakes, a run down a maze, and dancing in the Nightosphere. Then suddenly finding themselves in a forest, stalked by a presence. Jake finds himself changing into a Jake-faced steed as they run down a road. Panic and terror swallow their hearts as they run along a forested path; "AAAH, doesn't this feel horribly familiar!?". "I know right!? Keep running!!". Feeling a horrible evil chase them down without tiring, allowing them to run ahead. They stop at a great big vault door, the presence gone, and their path stopped. They examine the door, great big and red. It has a small hole burrowed in it; "Hey Jake.". Finn placed his hand on the door. Jake responded; "Yeah?". Taking a step back, Finn gazed at the hole; "Doesn't this hole in my Vault look a lot... like, a lot - a lot like that freaky Moon lady vampire?". The brothers' gazes focused on the opening, their faces shifting from bewilderment to fear as they realized what this meant. Then a deep graveling voice came out from the dream forest as the rocky satellite in the sky shone down; "Delicious morsels. Through Fear and Sleep, The Moon may yet rise again!". She then manifested between the duo. Finn and Jake screamed and bolted in a random direction together, Jake stretching around their stalker to cling to Finn. Marceline awoke; "Sorry Bubs, gonna cut this sleepover short! Vampires are back. Can't explain, bye!". She bolts out the throne room door at lightning speeds. She sniffs at the air and hones in on her prey, growling; "The Moon…". She takes on the form of a shadowy streak in the night sky as she flies towards her foe. Still tired from the sudden wake up, Bubblegum could only utter a confused "take… zzz… care… zzz". before dozing off to sleep again. In short time, the Vampire Queen hovered near her friends' campsite. Eyes glowing with anger at a figure that lurches high above on a tree branch, The Moon. Marceline shouted; "HEY SHOVEL FACE! I'm gonna take you out and suck your soul again!". Of course her foe stared to the Queen with a devious smile. She jumped down onto the camp. Marcy quickly grew into her large bat-like form and attempted to head her off but The Moon quickly climbed on and scurried across her body, dodging attempts to grab her, and clinging fast as the angrier Vampire Hunter attempted to shake her off. The Moon leapt off Marceline and with teeth bared, lunged at the laying Connie. Marceline screamed in horror and fury. Yet in quick fashion, a flash of pink warped through The Moon, a swooshing sound of wind, and the sound of the vampire's head and body hitting the ground with a thud rung out. Standing opposite of her laying position, Connie now was awake and with her trusty sword in hand, sheathing it as she exhaled a sigh of relief. Marceline quickly gathered and sucked up The Moon's body while congratulating Connie; "Pfft, show off." Finn spoke up; "Nuts. She janked my bod again. Is everyone safe?" Jake whimpered in terror; "Ahh! She's staring at me!...". And in a blatant go at terrorizing him, The Moon's face contorted in gruesome fashion as she suddenly yelled at Jake; "Boo!", causing him to go pale and faint from fright. The gems of the Ice Crown (and maybe even the other Enchiridion gems too) are magical/eldritch/divine counterparts to the Gems. This is a mild AU where Simon Petrikov spends time in Beach City as a crazy, but mostly friendly hobo. After Steven unlocks his healing spit and amid his search for a cure to the Gem Monsters, he has the epiphany that he could try his powers on Simon. when that doesnt work, he has the thought the Ice Crown might be powered by imprisoned Gems Cue the manifesting of an owl-like Gem with a red robe, Evergreen/Ice King- like hair and skin, and her gems as eyes. (Half baked thought process) She manifests in a form reminiscent of the Ice Thing, but like humanoid as in my head, so the three gems projecting a form in tandem as though they were a Fusion. Didn't consider making them a Fusion until I realized there are three of those gems. anyway... she cray cray. Ice Crown: "Thank you Steven. Now I'm free to ice everything up. Then my master will be safe!" Steven: "Wait... what!? You can't do that!!" Ice Crown: *matter a factly* "Yes I can. I did it before-... oh, wait wait wait... *giggles* oh ho, what am I saying?... I shouldn't freeze the whole world." Steven: "Whew, that could've been bad." Ice Crown: "I should freeze everything but you and my master so I can protect you both as thanks!" *flies off* Steven: "WAIT! THATS STILL BAD!!" ... Also... There's a few angles for the Fallout idea, mainly in how to introduce everything from Fallout. Sure the easy route is going straight up canon cross over, Ooo is Europe's and the Enclave touch on the shores or something like that. Personally? I wanna go full on AU. Like starting with Finn and Jake. To further drive up A Boy and his Dog allusions, Finn is a wastelander and Jake is a mutant dog. Finn himself is a lot like Vic in that he grew up without much in the way of parents, same with Jake here. He's a bit like Martin here, looking out for himself and generally taking care of only his, Jakes and BMO (who is a handheld Pipboy like device) needs. He moves from Raider groups, tribes, working for the NCR and even running with Caesars Legions for a time. And this is where the comparisons with Vic begin to pile on. See Vic was pretty amoral until he couldn't be, namely after killing the love of his life to feed Blood, he couldn't process or deal with the guilt and let himself just die. We know Finns vault is an unhealthy coping mechanism, used to toss away painful or traumatic experiences he can't or doesn't want to deal with. So here unlike Vic it's the issue of Finns inherently good nature crashing against the idea of surviving in the wasteland and Finn resorting more and more to using the Vault to deal with the piling issues.

Chaos Fantasy said: I had a bit of a one-shot idea to share. But it's basically some snippets of what could be a story. Idk... Spoiler ___ Feeling sore, head throbbing -the sounds of metal scraping, debris being moved, and his phone's low battery warning buzzing awakened Steven as he lays in a bubble, a ringing in his ears. His thoughts slowly coming to him, realizing he must have instinctively summoned his bubble. He looked around to realize, there was a lot of junk and to his shock -chunks of buildings and vehicles surrounding him. Then, remembering what brought him here, all started with a simple pit stop... "One hotdog please. Heh, It's a cheat day.". The vendor somewhat snidly remarks as he places a hotdog on a grill that he didn't ask for that kind of chit-chat. Steven looks around as he hears the whirls and vooms of planes overhead; "So... there sure are a lot of planes.". The vendor grumpily glanced at Steven then look down to his grill as he moved to flip the hotdog. Steven continued and smiled; "...Is there an Air Show going on?" The vendor's expression changed to one of confusion and exasperation. ; "Air Show!? What!? Kid, just where the heck have you been?! Those are--...!!" The sounds of debris and metal sliding begin to slow as light breeches the bubble, the outside world... and a strange little girl staring at him. The little girl speaks out to someone; "Hey, this one's ok!" A bearded old man with a with a long nose pops into view and speaks soon after; "Huh? That isn't food. Welp... let's keep looking then!" The girl's voice got angry: "Come on, you promised we'd help the next one Simon!" "Wha--? Oh right, silly me. Howdy stranger, need any help there?". Steven smiled as he got his bearings and stood up, replying; "Thanks, but I've got this." He brings his hands together, momentarily removing his bubble, then lifting them over his head and creating a large hexagonal shield overhead to catch the debris. Then drops the barrier as he walks out of the opening. "My name's Steven Universe by the way." The little girl and man look on fairly impressed at the display as they introduced themselves; "My name is Simon Petrikov and this here's Marcline." "And Hamboo" she interjected whilst holding her stuffed toy aloft. Steven then got a good look at the state of things, his smile turning to horror and confusion as he laid eyes on the state of the city. Buildings blown open and in fire, cars turned over and riddled with holes, the street and sidewalks broken apart. Few signs of life. The scene behind him, the stands and vendors all lost beneath smoldering rubble. "W-what the heck happened here!? How long was I out!?" Simon's tone shifted, to something both concerned and surprised; "You... don't know? There's a war going on.". Steven found himself floored at the news; "That's crazy! There can't be a war!" _________ _________ The trip was a long and hard one, but Steven and Connie were able to work their way a fair distance to a small town in the middle of the country. Though both persevered through the ruins of the world, they had fallen into a then uninterrupted cycle of solemn driving, embittered exhaustion at what had become of humanity, hope that they could make a difference for someone, and hope that they would reunite with their loved ones. Despite it still being bright out, they parked up by a rundown convienance store and made camp. In their scavenging, the store turned out to have perfectly usable lumber for campfires in stock. Being mindful of the fire hazard risk, they built their campfire a respectable distance from the store. Afterwards, the duo sit close together as they cook up their lunch for the day. A chilly wind causes Connie to get closer to Steven; "Sure is getting cold lately...". Steven replies in agreement. Connie continued; "snowflakes falling too....". She continues with a confused and alarmed tone; "... in the middle of the hottest season in the country!!?...!?". Steven agrees. "Wait!? Snow!?" Steven replied. Grabbing her shoulders, he excitedly spoke to his companion; "Look, Connie. Admittedly with all the Gems, this snow shouldn't be surprising. I'm pretty sure there aren't any Gem's in this part of the country, but I do know someone who is probably the cause of all this off weather." Click to expand... Click to shrink...

"I-I… panicked… I saw what was about to happen… what happened. I only had time to save you…" "What? Are… the others ok? Is Steven ok?" Garnet looked out the broken windows of Steven's home, to the howling green skies outside. She was trembling and remained silent. "He pulled through, right Garnet? Even if his bubble broke, he's Steven… he's been through worse… right?" Garnet looked to Connie and then silently looked to the Warp Pad before speaking; "Amethyst and Pearl should be here any second, go get Lion. We… We'll go do this together." "... right." As Connie climbed up to the greenhouse, Pearl and Amethyst almost immediately burst through the front door in a panic. Pearl: "What happened at Little Homeworld!?" Amethyst: "Why is the sky all dark and green!? Pearl: "Where's Steven?!" Amethyst: "Or the blue dude and Marcy?" Garnet solemnly replied; "We're not sure yet." As Connie got to Steven's room, she found Lion silently observing the sky, they share a knowing look as Lion acknowledges her presence, It was that once Connie and Lion leapt down to the ground below that Connie got her first good look at the smoke stack, a haunting sight. It looked as though countless souls were howling in horror. She stared as she met up up with Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst, all looking on at the same ghastly sight. Without word, the trio all mount Lion, who opens a portal right after. Arriving back at Little Homeworld, Connie and the Gems dismounted Lion and searched the blast radius. The town nearly reduced to rubble. It didn't take long to figure out what direction to go, the debris all formed a clear radius. But to the surprise of the group, amidst the rumble was a crystalline dome, as they neared- it turned out to be pure ice as the group realized. They knew it was not of Gem construction, all of them were already out of town by then. Connie called out: "Simon! Are you in there!? If you're ok, answer me!" Connie got closer to the icy dome, the vibrant pink of her face reflected off the surface, her vistage slowly becoming more clear with every step. She soon got right up to the ice and looked inside, she noticed two figures huddled together. She calls out; "Simon and Marceline are alive!" Without missing a que, Garnet summoned her gauntlets and punched a hole in the dome. Marceline and Simon were happy to be rescued. Garnet: "Mr. Petrikov, you and Marceline need to get out of here, Lion can take you to the shelter." Simon: "...? Oh right! You don't have tell us twice. Come along Marcy." Marceline: "Where's Steven?" Pearl: "... …we'll find him." Connie ran her fingers through Lion's mane; "Make sure to come back for us right after, ok buddy?" Lion nodded and whisked Simon and Marceline off. The Crystal Gems marched onward towards the center of the blast. Momentarily stunned as they see beams of pink light illuminate from their destination, a bubbling green pool of radioactive material. Hope welled up, Steven survived. Amethyst and Pearl immediately went in to fish Steven out, Amethyst shapeshifting into a crane, her hands the claw. Pearl poked around with her spear. The group were quickly stopped in their tracks when Amethyst's arms, and Pearl's spear disintegrated upon contact with the ooze. Just as they were going to come up with a new strategy, something breached the surface of the pool with great force causing Garnet to drag the others several yards from the pool as a small wave of toxic spray flew at them. The ooze sizzled and eroded the ground they previously stood. Coated in toxic slime, it was clear that the creature that came out was Steven. He crawled out of the pool and struggled onto stable land. The drips from his body sizzled against the ground as he stumbled to his feet and unsteadily walked toward everyone. His face obscured in sludge. Steven tried to speak, his voice garbled and strained horribly, it seemed his time submerged in the radioactive pool caused it. He coughed, attempting to eject the ooze from his throat. *cough* *cough* blobs of sludge being coughed out as he seemed to struggle with breathing. From the depths of his body, pink light continued to spark out. Steven reached out, *Cough* "CoUaahrgh!" The last cough more violent then the last, bending over from the effort. Yet Steven finally seemed at peace as he went silent, ceasing his stumbling, his posture steady. He slowly returned to a standing posture. While everyone could see it, Amethyst was the first to say something was wrong with his gem; "Uh, hey buddy. Your gem is sliding a little there. Might wanna uh, push it… *Steven silently turns towards Amethyst* back … in..." *plink* The Crystal Gems were left silent, Steven's gem slid out -he did nothing to stop it. It's light just barely shining though from beneath the radioactive waste. With a pit forming in her stomach at the uneasiness if his behavior, Connie simply uttered; "Steven..." Pearl: "Gulp. H-he'll be fine... right Garnet?" Garnet was almost about to answer when she called out in warning; "Watch it!!", Steven shock his leg at the group, sending a small wave of radioactive slime flying out. As acidic waste splashed in their direction, Amethyst and Pearl were quick to repel much of it with their weapons. Steven's frame had changed with the act, parts of his body seemed to have totally melted to bone, the gruesome image obscured by the toxic waste. Connie: "S-Steven!? Did you just try to…? We're your friends! This isn't--..." With some anger and resignation, Garnet interjected with a huff; "It isn't him, not anymore..." "Grrah ha haha ha…. ah, ha ha ha ha… hahaha hahaha!!!" Steven laughed with malevolent glee. He whipped some more of the radioactive sludge at the group, this time from his other leg. They avoided it just as quick. When confronted again for his behavior, Steven's face broke out into a massive smile, the sound of his cheeks ripping open accompanied the sight, green glows in his eyes. The malevolent creature that has taken Steven's body in totality, lunged at the group. Stretching out his hand towards them, the sound of rotten flesh rending roared out as the remaining skin of his hand gave way to a larger, skeletal hand. Within a flash of pink; *boom, crack* A pink fist struck the monster and sent it tumbling through the wreckage of the town, it's body igniting into flames upon landing in what the Crystal Gems believe was Bismuth's forge. Steven's gem had reformed into the likeness of Steven, but pink of course. He screamed out to the Crystal Gems; "GET OUT OF HERE." And created a barrier between them and the creature, whom grew to a massive sized skeleton as it got back up - smirking as if the attack were simply delaying inevitably, the flames coating it's body turned to a green hue to match it's eyes. What remained of Steven's head melted and reshaped into a horrific horned skull as he stood up and roared with murderous laughter as he sprinted back to them, evil intent within his eyes. Pink Steven turned to the Crystal Gems again and told them to leave, in an almost worried tone before turning his attention to the incoming monster. Calculating a new course of action. The Crystal Gems tried to act, they tried to say they'd help, but Pink Steven would not have it. He forced them out, trapping them in a barrier then catapulting them out of the ruins. The Crystal Gems watched as the battle below drifted into unobservablility. The pink little pink light bolting into the green of the monster, both them and the ruins fading as they flew past the clouds. The mood was dour. They could not believe what they saw. As they let what they witnessed settle in their minds, the first horror came to them. As Pearl's form nearly dissipated as she clung to her friends; "M-my St...even…". Garnet's tears flooded her face; "I… that monster took Steven… Hundreds of timelines and I couldn't… !". Amethyst gazed half tearful and half blankly in the direction of Little Homeworld. And Connie, tearful as the rest would be the first to scream out in agony. Be honest, am I evil or what?! I've also got ideas for Finn and Jake's era. Here they are out of context, they may or may not come to fruition... A Legend arrives. Swords and eyepatches. Dogcopter: Cat edition. Or... The cooler Scar. Meat Man, the Real Boy. • A Star Butterfly and/or Tom from an apocalyptic multiverse, battleworn from running from/hunting down The Lich.
• Star, Moon, Meteora, Eclipsa or someone could've defeated The Lich by the time the cross happens, leaving behind a power-hungry slave in the wake.
• Time Travel and Dimension Hopping could be used for bring Adventure Time cast and a past versions of the cast from SVTFOE.
• Their respective Liches do a big bad team up.
• An idea i recently came up with, the SU × AT side Lich having mimicked or Xenomorph'd Steven's abilities from Future. Mainly, the geometric barriers.
• Some loose powerscaling/escalation.
• Potentially jam in other stories if my whims or suggestions allow.

Been watching the new Fiona and Cake series and it made me think about an Adventure Time/Archie Sonic fusion. Basic idea is that the Adventure Time stuff begins happening during Early Archie/The Gag Era. Sonic is visiting another area of Mobius and sees Finn. He assumes that Finn is an Overlander like Robotnik and attacks him before Robotnik begins his assault on the Candy Kingdom. Finn is shocked to see Robotnik but sees that he's a jerk and teams up with Sonic to save Princess Bubblegum and the others. The next adventure would probably be when Ice King kidnaps Sally and tries to have her marry him. A Halloween special, meanwhile, would introduce Marceline who decides to kind of mess with Sonic and the FF for fun. Some other ideas is that back in the day Mammoth Mogul was actually Billy's companion and the two beat The Lich together. However Mogul wanted to rule and Billy couldn't abide by that. Nowadays they are like the movie versions of Xavier and Magneto, meeting up to play video games or whatnot while still opposing one another. Mogul does surprisingly take Billy's death somewhat hard when the Lich eventually possesses/kills him

Heck this would also explains that telekinetic power Finn exhibits when he tries to cope with Martins abandonment of him. So in this take, we have the Land of Ooo as an other there land mass that Finn and Jake end up running in to for any various reasons, like perhaps as I mentioned Finn's time with the Legion came to an end and so he ran to escape them. Having Marcus around alongside Harold, whose significance as a person become a tree doe's interestingly touch on Finns own parasitic plant that likewise became its own person and grew into a tree later on, would also be fun. Hell, move things around and make the treehouse Finn and Jake and Marceline crash be actually Harold, who is an old friend of Marceline and let her stay inside of Bob during one of Simons black outs as Ice King. Yeah this is basically a sad end but it also is kinda sweet if you think about it like his relationship with the little girl in Fallout 3 who talked to him and slept in the roots produced by Bob. Attie was born as royalty, being forced to participate in royal affairs all her life. She never left the kingdom until she met Finn because she had no friends and therefore no reason to. She lived in the Lake Castle with her mother and father before moving in with Marceline. Her father denounced her royal status and title in " Kicked Out ", also depriving her of her royal gems, contacts, dresses, and maid-servant.

Like most people residing in the Lake Kingdom, Attie has pale, turqiouse skin and blue, water-like hair. When she debuted, her hair was down to her waist. By " The Front Gates ", it had reached her knees. In "Kicked Out" and " The Christmas Album ", it was down to her ankles. She had it cut to shoulder-length in " Roommate ". It had grown back to waist-length by " The Vampire King ". She had it cut to shoulder-length again (though a slightly different style now) in " Call the Midwife ". She is a little bit shorter than Finn. She used to have a royal blue gem, much like her fiery counterpart, in her forehead. She wore contacts until her father took them, and she now wears a pair of thick, black glasses. She wears a different outfit in every episode that she has a major role in and even for some of her minor roles. Her gender-swapped counterpart looks the same but with straight, shoulder-length hair, a blue outfit very similar to Prince Gumball's pink one (minus the crown), and a more masculine build. In the Wut-Wut High timeline, Addeline had dark hair and normal-colored skin.
