The city is the centre of the urban district of Pleiku which covers an area . Traveling on the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail, you’ll continue to learn more about the history of Vietnamese people during the French colony and the Civil War, and experience the daily life of highlanders who live along the roads to learn how to make rice paper, noodles, etc. Pleiku is a place where you would stay overnight after another full day of exciting riding. 4th day: Depart from Pleiku to Kon Tum ( 110km) *Kon Tum City is the capital city of Kon Tum Province in Vietnam. It is located inland in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, near the borders of Laos and Cambodia. - Visit the city a bit then head to Greenfield of the Bana and Gia-rai people, crocodile farm.. Pagoda and traditional music of them. - Heading to sea lake which used to be a volcanic crater that stopped working a million years ago..a great place to take some good photos for the trip. - Continue traveling to Kon Tum where you visit Kon tum prison ( since 1930 ) - Visit wooden church ( French Church) and Kon Tum orphanage - Visit Kon-Ktu village and their traditional Rong house and learn their traditions and culture by their custom and daily life. 5th day: Depart from Kon Tum to Kham Duc ( 170km) *Kham Duc was a US Special Forces Camp in the western parts of the then Quang Tin province, now Quang Nam.
