This is where stories were woven into the Hai//om mythology of the origin of Etosha's chalky pan, how Elephant saved the world with his generosity of spirit and the many tales about the animals below and the stars above that are part of the cycle of life in Etosha. Explore the national park with our knowledgeable guides who are familiar with the waterholes and the animals that frequent them. Take this opportunity to be introduced to African wildlife from the comfortable seat of a game vehicle. Early morning or late afternoon visits, in accordance with the Andersson Gate times, provide the best game viewing.

And, after Etosha enchantment return to the lodge to relax, dive into the cool waters of the pools or indulge in quality food and wine - and peace. The lodge, only ten kilometres from the Park's central entrance and a world away from the hustle and bustle of Okaukuejo, offers top grade Etosha accommodation with easy access to the Park. Days of animal wonder are balanced with comfort and care, creating an exceptional Etosha experience. The privacy of the rooms with the most stunning view. Furthermore, the little coffee station was well stocked with really good coffee. The setup of the rooms was stunning! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clothes were washed with care and delivered the same day. All swimming pools had the most breathtaking views. The grounds were very well kept.

The staff are great. The terrace is amazing and provides great views. The lodge is very close to the national park entrance.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is close to Etosha. The buffet dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. The beds are comfortable and cozy. Stay at least 2 nights to enjoy the view and pools. It’s very peaceful.

The staff was very helpful and gave us a room very close to the main building. The Terrace was absolutely GORGEOUS, best sunset and sunrises views you can imagine ! Special thanks to Esther at the reception and our Safari guide Jon!

Hotel, room, staff and food are excellent. The coffee tray is well equipped and linens were top notch. Buffet meals have plenty of variety, and were well cooked snd presented.

Info Getting There Activities

Etosha Safari Lodge is the sister lodge of Etosha Safari Camp and part of the Gondwana Collection. It is only 10 km from the Anderson Gate of Etosha National Park. The restaurant and chalets are on a hillock and therefore have spectacular views below the savanna. The chalets are air-conditioned and very comfortable.

The lodge offers guests three swimming pools to enjoy some downtime between visits to the Etosha National Park. Furthermore, it is well known for some of the best viewing decks close to the park, such as a wooden lookout deck at the restaurant and bar area. This is ideal for a sundowner drink overlooking the Mopane bush below.

The camp offers guided game drives into Etosha National Park. Guests can choose between half-day and full-day options. Guests are also welcome to stay at the lodge and make self-drive trips to the park. Therefore it is ideal to base yourself at the lodge and visit the park.

Overall, the lodge offers a splendour of spectacular views. The friendly staff and perfect location make this a good choice when visiting Etosha National Park. Even though it is one of the larger lodges within this region, it has been well designed, and the layout blends with the natural surroundings.
