Trending on billboard.

The tour kicks off on October 4 in Lexington, Ky., before making its way through cities like Nashville, Tempe and Orlando before wrapping up on October 25 in Las Vegas. While Carter will be honoring his Backstreet Boys pop roots, fans can also expect to see a new side of the singer.

“I’m going to go out with a band, and I play guitar. I’m going to be playing drums throughout the show. So, it has a bit more creative personal expression and is a little bit more organic, I guess you could say,” he says of how his tour differs from a BSB run, before sharing the “surprising” songs he hopes to add into the setlist. “There’s no walls for me when it comes to music,” Carter says with a laugh. “One of the songs I really want to do is Simple Mind’s ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ from The Breakfast Club and another one I want to do is Bon Jovi’s ‘Wanted Dead or Alive.’ I’m actually going to do some rap because I grew up listening to rap music. I’m gonna tear up some rap and do my own East Coast versus West Coast!”

Carter’s Who I Am tour comes at a particularly poignant time in the superstar’s life. In November, his younger brother and fellow pop star Aaron Carter died at age 34 after he drowned in the bathtub at his home in Lancaster, Calif., after inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam. His cause of death was deemed accidental .

“It’s been a very rough year for me and my family and losing my brother is still something that I’m processing,” Nick shares. Following Aaron’s death, Nick and his sister Angel launched a donation fund in their late brother’s memory to benefit On Our Sleeves , which advocates to break the stigma surrounding mental health and provides children’s mental health resources to families and teachers nationwide.

“You try to find ways to cope with the things that are being thrown at you in life. Leaning into anything philanthropic or charitable, it makes it about something bigger than yourself,” Nick says of his past few months. “When my sister and I [launched the donation fund], I think that was the only way we were able to process what we’ve been going through. It’s become about how can we turn what we’ve been feeling into something that can hopefully help somebody else, and then we can learn from it and then somebody else can learn from it.”

“I love my brother. He’s my baby brother and I love him. Losing him, it’s been really hard,” he adds, before taking time to offer some advice for those also going through the loss of a loved one. “You just have to take life as it comes and learn from it and, most importantly, just know that you’re not alone.”

As for now, Nick says that the Who I Am tour has provided a much welcomed beam of light in a particularly tumultuous year. “I’m a musician. I’m an artist. I’m a performer, but I’m also a human first,” he explains. “Music is therapeutic to me and we all find ways to manage the things that we’re going through in life. Getting out there and performing for fans and just being who I am — it’ll help me during this this time.”

Nick Carter, originally from Backstreet Boys is still doing his thing as a singer songwriter. He has released two solo albums to date, “Now Or Never” and “I’m Taking Off”. I’ve got to give credit where it’s due and I can definitely confirm that this singer songwriter still has a fantastic voice. Tonight, he is performing work from his album “I’m Taking Off”. This is quite a “different performance to watch. The theatrics are like none I have ever seen before. Carter walks onstage as though he is an astronaut with all the gear on him ready to go, the audience are in absolute hysteria. They scream all the way through his set. One of my favourite things about his set is that he is performing with a live band playing a PRS electric guitar. His opening song “I’m Taking Off” is a huge pop rock song that is pretty close to “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi in terms of the huge hooks that draw you in as a listener. “Blow Your Mind” is another song similar to “I’m Taking Off”, that is essentially driven by guitars throughout, but of course it features some huge hooks.

Nick Carter Books In Order

Publication order of nick carter: killmaster books.

Nick Carter is the name of a fictional character, who appeared as a private detective in dime novels in 1886 and then featured in various formats for more than a century. The character is particularly famous for featuring in the Killmaster series, which is written by various author sunder the common pseudonym of Nick Carter. This pseudonym was mainly used by the Ace, Award, and Jove publishing for releasing the books of this series. Altogether, there are more than 260 spy adventure novels, starting from 1964 up to 1990, featuring Nick as the main protagonist.

No author is actually credited to have written the books and therefore, Nick Carter became the house pen name for the entire series. The volumes vary between third person and first person narrative. Many authors have contributed to the series, including Manning Lee Stokes, Michael Avallone, Gayle Lynds, David Hagberg, Martin Cruz Smith, Valerie Moolman, Robert Randisi, Dennis Lynds, etc. The title character, Nick, is shown serving in AXE as Agent N3. The Axe is a fictional agency of the US government for spying on the rivals.

Most of the stories are shown similar to the James Bond books, that is, they are high action sequences and less depiction of gadgets. The sexual encounters are described in great detail. Nick’s full name is Nicholas J. Huntington Carter. His description given in the first book, Run, Spy, Run, is that of a tall, handsome, and lean man having a classic profile, and a muscular body. His eyes are gray and have a cruel, dangerous, and icy look. Nick is hard faced with a straight mouth. His hair is dark and thick. There is a tattoo of blue axe on the lower right arm of Nick. This tattoo depicts the identification of an agent from AXE. In one of the novels of the series, it is mentioned that the tattoo glows brightly in the dark. Nick’s shoulder has a scar from a knife wound, while his right thigh has a wound mark from a shrapnel. Whenever Nick lands in danger, he brings his 6th sense to use and often comes out unhurt.

Another important aspect of Nick’s character is yoga, which he practices every day for a minimum of 15 minutes. Nick has an interest in learning different languages and his ability in quick learning helps him to grasp the foreign languages very easily. Some of the languages that he is very fluent in include English, Greek, French, Italian, German, Hungarian, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Sanskrit. Apart from these, he has learned basic skills in Japanese, Arabic, Swahili, Turkish, Korean, Hindustani, and Romansch. In the initial books, Nick is shown as assuming various disguises to complete his missions. Throughout the entire series, Nick makes use of 3 main weapons, which are specifically named by him and have certain histories associated with them. His gun is named Wilhemina, while his knife is called Hugo. The third and most important weapon used by him is a poisonous gas bomb. Nick keeps this small device inside his pants beside his testicles. This gas bomb is capable of killing anyone or anything who inhales the colorless, odorless gas. Nick possesses many guns, all German Lugars and all given the name Wilhelmina. His knife is a specially made weapon that can retract inside the handle. The code, N3, given to Nick by his spy agency is a special one as it signifies that Nick is among the top three elite agents, called Killmasters. However, different authors have given different explanations to the code in the books. The one thing common in all the explanations is that Nick is an important asset to AXE and a deadly one too.

An early book written in the Killmaster series in entitled ‘The China Doll’. This book was released in the year 1968 by the Award Books publication. This book’s plot is set in New York. The primary characters of this book’s story include Nick Carter, Nikita Khrushchev, and David Hawk. At the start of the book, it is depicted that Nick recuperates at his home after the completion of his last mission. Soon, he learns from the agency that he has been assigned to carry out another assignment. This new assignment requires him to play the role of the personal bodyguard of Nikita Khrushchev. He must ensure his protection at all times when he represents the Soviet Premier during the United Nation’s first session in the city. As soon as Nikita arrives in New York, two assassination attempts take place on his life, but Nick foils both of them. From then on, he keeps Nikita in front of his eyes all the time until the session gets over and she flies back to her country. Nick’s spy agency and its counterpart from the Soviet Union, SIN, think that the attacks on Nikita’s life were carried out on the orders of a Chinese communist group. This group does not want a healthy relation to develop between USA and USSR. Therefore, assassination was meant to disturb the relationship between them. Nick gets paired with an agent from Russia and they both enter China to track the group that ordered Nikita’s assassination. While doing so, they come across a terrorist group called Claw and learn that this group is the head of all the communist operations. Nick ends up destroying Claw, following which the Russian and American relations improve greatly.

Another popular book of the series is called ‘Saigon’. The Award Books released it in 1964. The story of this novel takes place in North Vietnam, and features the primary characters as Claire La Farge, Nick Carter, Raoul Dupre, and Mr. Hawk. At the beginning of the story, it is depicted that Claire La Farge is the widow of an intelligence officer from France. She resides near a large tea and rice plantation in Vietnam. One day, Claire receives a message in code form from an ex-associate of her dead husband. Not knowing whom to tell about this secret message, Claire decides to put up an advertisement in the Vietnam Times with the hope that her husband’s former colleagues will contact her after reading the advert. She asks her most trusted servant named Saito to book a personal column in the newspaper for the advert. When Raoul Dupre learns about the ad he contacts AXE. Dupre is a well known businessman from Saigon, who has also worked for the French intelligence in the past. After receiving Raoul Dupre’s message, the agency sends Nick to Saigon and orders him to assist Dupre in contacting Claire La Frage and obtaining the coded message from her.

Who's in the field for the 2024 US Open golf championship?

nick carter tour dates

World No. 1 and reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler leads the field as the 124th U.S. Open golf championship gets underway Thursday at North Carolina's Pinehurst Resort.

A total of 156 players will tee it up with more than half of the field made up of golfers who have received automatic spots based on their world ranking, a previous tournament victory, their place in various tour standings or a special exemption.

Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods is in the last category after getting the official invite from the USGA last month .

The rest of the field is comprised of players who have made it through the rigorous annual qualifying process.

When is the US Open golf tournament?

The U.S. Open will be June 13-16, 2024, at the historic No. 2 course at Pinehurst Resort and C.C.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the US Open?

After finishing last in the Masters and missing the cut at the PGA Championship , Tiger Woods will be in search of his 16th major title when he tees it up at this year's U.S. Open thanks to a special exemption from the USGA .

It will mark the first time since 2020 that Woods will be playing in the U.S. Open, a tournament he's won three times previously.

While the PGA Championship and Masters offer lifetime exemptions to past champions, the U.S. Open does not. Woods is currently No. 829 in the Offical World Golf Ranking , and a five-year exemption from his 2019 Masters victory has run out.
