This is an excellent Hollywood tour for just 2 hours. Our tour guide "George" was very prepared with all the Hollywood information and trivia. This tour will give you a heads up on what you can do on your own at a later time.

Hollywood City Tours bus.

A tour van from this company just dumped a packed van full of people into the middle of busy traffic on Beachwood. The guide told them they should walk into the road to take photos of themselves in front of the Hollywood Sign, and they did. There are plenty of tour companies in Hollywood that take you to spots where you can safely take a photo in front of the Hollywood sign *without* putting you at risk - this isn't one of them.

Tour van dumping paying customers into traffic.

Before you decide to do a tour you need to know there is a 2 hour tour for $45 and a 7 hour tour for $95. I highly recommend that you purchase tickets online because if you go there in person to purchase tickets, the tours might already be booked up regardless of which one you want to go on. I took a lady friend for her 50th birthday on the 7 hour one for she has never been to California at all(I know, right?). Now all the places that the tour takes you I have been to individually over time. Which makes this tour perfect for her since we only had just a couple days in town. So we show up at their designated office location to check in. Sammy, our tour guide takes roll call. Be careful here for they only call out your first name and the number in your party. We had a couple people get on our bus that was supposed to be on the 2 hour tour. Good thing Sammy clarified it for them. So here are the stops in the order we did them starting at 10 am. Hollywood Walk of Fame and TCL Theater(formerly Mann's Chinese Theater). You get about 30 minutes to walk around and do your thing. The Beverly Hills Sign. You get about 15 minutes to take pics. Rodeo Drive. Basically you just drive through it with some slowdowns for quick pics from the bus. Santa Monica Pier. You get an hour to take it all in. Farmer's Market. You get an hour here. Sammy gives you a map of area. This is where you are recommended to grab some lunch because there are plenty of choices. Lastly, Griffith Observatory plus Hollywood sign. You only get 30 minutes here to explore. In the distance there is a clear line of sight to the Hollywood sign. Keep in mind that pretty much most of the duration of the drive Sammy is constantly giving out all sorts of useful info from famous places that were filmed in movies, restaurants and shops that celebrities normally hang out in, churches that they got married in(also where their viewings were held when they died), and historical buildings that will never be demolished. By the time you get back to your starting location, it will be about 5 pm. When you exit the tour bus, be kind and tip your tour guide a little something in their basket on the way out. Sammy was more than awesome in regards to his driving(it's LA traffic and a niced sized tour bus is not easy to navigate), and very useful knowledge on everything we passed by. In closing, I thought that the $190 spent was worth every penny. If you do the math by doing all these stops yourself, the parking alone at the 3 major stops will set you back maybe 75 to 80 bucks not to mention all the driving you gotta do. Then there's all the extra walking you gotta do after you park your car. You would not have enough time in one day to do all these things. As for the 2 hour tour, it's just a basic drive through the neighborhoods that the celebrities live in. Yelp 2023 Review #7 900 overall

We had a blast on our tour ,From the Beginning to the end ,each person I encountered was very kind and welcoming. ,after purchasing a few reasonably priced items from their store I noticed my phone needed charging and when asked about charging it without hesitation the gentleman behind the counter ,Charged my phone . After waiting a few more minutes ,out pops Informative tour guide disco_the _don,He has amazing energy ,He's knowledgeable, my family had a blast on his tour ,He's humor and knowledge was the perfect blend of hospitality , He was very apologetic while maneuvering LA traffic yet still giving information about the locations(multitasker ) lol . We even saw Al Pacino casually walking down the sidewalk Out driver Don , our cousin , our primo ,our family, our friend as he would say brought us backed safely with laughter and great memories , Give that man a raise !

Cancelled on us 5 minutes before the tour after we already spent $40 on an Uber to get there. Very unprofessional.

The tour was decent but it would have been nice if the driver could have made a way to stop for photo ops at the various locals and attractions.

Hollywood tours are in no short supply, from the open-top vans that line the Hollywood Walk of Fame to intimate walking tours. At their best, they take the guesswork out of exploring major tourist attractions and celebrity hangouts, and can sometimes offer an offbeat look at Hollywood history. But finding a perfect route is a challenge, especially when most Hollywood tours barely even take place in Hollywood; in fact, most are excursions through  West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip as well as Beverly Hills .

We’ll be honest: Enterprising visitors are better off with a DIY approach. A smartphone, a Metro pass, and a ride-hailing app cost far less than a proper tour, and you’ll be able to tackle everything at your own pace.

Taylor Swift Brings Travis Kelce Onstage During Eras Tour Surprise in London

Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance during Taylor Swift's performance in London on Sunday.

Swift, performing at London's Wembley Stadium in the latest stop on her Eras Tour, brought her boyfriend out during a performance of "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was dressed in a tuxedo and sparkly top hat. He picked up Swift and carried her for her outfit change bit. He also powdered her face, busted a move and gave a big smile when exiting the stage.

Of course, his appearance was met with thunderous roars from the crowd.

The song "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" is from her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which Swift has incorporated into the tour.

Kelce famously attended her Eras Tour last July when she was in Kansas City, before they had started dating, and has been a regular attendee on her tour since.

For her part, Swift has been a bit supporter at Kansas City Chiefs games, including February's Super Bowl, where the team beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime in Las Vegas.

Ian McKellen will not return for a final three Players Kings performances in London ’s West End after falling off the theatrical stage on June 17.

The Noel Coward Theatre in a statement on X , formerly Twitter, said David Semark would take the role of Sir John Falstaff for the last scheduled performances in London while McKellen “recuperates following his fall.”

McKellen, 85, was performing as Falstaff in a production of  Henry IV , Parts One and Two , which began a 12-week run as part of a show titled  Player Kings  in London’s West End in April, when he lost his footing and fell during a fight scene. The June 17 show was eventually canceled and the crowd evacuated from the theater.

In an earlier June 18 statement on X , McKellen thanked his fans for their support while receiving medical care. “I want to thank everyone for their kind messages and support. Since the accident, during a performance of Player Kings last night, my injuries have been diagnosed and treated by a series of experts, specialists and nurses working for the National Health Service. To them, of course, I am hugely indebted. They have assured me that my recovery will be complete and speedy and I am looking forward to returning to work.”

McKellen, a classic Shakespearean actor in the U.K., gained a new following when taking on movie roles like the gray-bearded wizard Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings franchise.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has returned his key to New York City after a request from Mayor Eric Adams in response to the release of a video showing the music mogul attacking R&B singer Cassie, officials said Saturday (June 15).

The mayor’s office said Combs returned the key after Adams sent letters to the embattled musician’s offices in New York and California on June 4 rescinding the key and asking for it to be sent back to City Hall. The city received the key June 10.

Combs’ career has been derailed by numerous accusations of sexual abuse, as well as a federal criminal sex-trafficking investigation that led to raids of Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.

In May, CNN aired security video of Combs attacking Cassie in a hotel hallway in Los Angeles in 2016. Combs has said he is “truly sorry” for the attack on Cassie and called his actions “inexcusable.” Cassie, whose legal name is Cassandra Ventura, sued Combs last year , setting off a wave of increased scrutiny on Combs. That case was settled a day after it was filed.

Adams awarded Combs with the key at a ceremony last year that coincided with the release of a new album.

Howard University this month rescinded an honorary degree awarded to Combs and ended a scholarship program in his name following the release of the video involving Cassie.

Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, is one of the most influential hip-hop producers and executives in the last three decades, turning musical success into a business empire.

An email sent to a representative listed online for Combs was not immediately returned.
