Outstanding group. Guides are second to none we went to Israel in 2017 with Friendship Tours and going back in February 2019. Wouldn't think of going with anybody else.

Recently finished the Israel tour, all I can say is wow! Everything you can hope for is exceeded, period. They are amazingly knowledgeable, fun to be around and making the trip a memory of a lifetime. Would definitely do it again with you guys

Great trip (though whirlwind). Guide was fabulous, accommodations were very nice. No downsides, though next time I'd prefer not to go through Istanbul just because of the lack of seating for long layovers.

BE WARNED. THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT EVEN IF THEY CANCEL YOUR TOUR! I fully paid for a 10-day tour of Israel through Friendship Tours that was to take place in January 2024.  This tour was advertised through our church where pamphlets from Friendship Tours were distributed. Prior to my payment on I paid Friendship Tours a $1,200 deposit for the same trip. Soon after it was communicated to me by our tour lead, that due to the war in and around Israel, Friendship Tours recommended we cancel our tour.  It was also communicated to me that Friendship Tours was offering full refunds, minus the "non-refundable deposits," which in my case amounted to $1,200 for 4 people. An option to reschedule the tour for 2025 was offered where all previously paid funds would be applied to the new tour.  I opted for the full refund.    I was, however, shocked and disturbed at the notion that my $1,200 deposit would not be refunded under these circumstances.  While I understand the notion of a non-refundable deposit, my family provided our deposit with the understanding that we'd be traveling during the agreed upon dates, and we fully committed to those dates, holding up our end of the transaction.   I understand that there is a terrible situation occurring in and around Israel, one that no one could have predicted. However, the fact remains that I did not cancel my tour. Friendship Tours cancelled it, 3 months before it was to take place. While the Friendship Tours website maintains it can't be held liable for "force majeure," including acts of war, I guess I'm supposed to be held solely liable???? Under these circumstances, how can Friendship Tours legally or morally keep my deposit?  I realize the company offered to reschedule the tour for 2025, but I cannot realistically project my work schedule that far out, so I couldn't commit to that. Interesting how Friendship Tours can apply the deposit for another tour, but not return it upon cancellation.... I relayed my concerns to Friendship Tours via e-mail and was contacted by the owner, Nasir. We spoke briefly on the phone where I again shared my concern. Nasir advised me that Friendship Tours was within their legal right to keep the $1,200 deposit. He also said he took offense to my questioning the legal and moral aspect of them keeping that money. As I tried to respond to Nasir, he talked over me and suggested that I seek legal counsel. He then hung up on me.  I was not able to respond or try to deescalate the situation. He seemed very frustrated in the fact that I brought this topic up. Nasir's behavior is not appropriate. His unwillingness to discuss the large sum of money his company was keeping from me is completely unacceptable and could be perceived as being indicative of illicit intent. If I were a person of means, I would absolutely seek legal counsel and restitution in court. Unfortunately, I am not. I strongly believe it is not correct, not moral, and perhaps not legal, that Friendship Tours keeps my $1,200 of deposit funds, that I paid in good faith, for a trip that, through no control of ours, was canceled.  Again, Friendship Tours cancelled the tour, not me. Does Friendship Tours not have insurance for this kind of situation? $1,200 is no small sum of money for my family.  Many in my church are in my same position as they booked the same tour with Friendship Tours. They will not be getting their deposits back either. That is a lot of money that Friendship Tours is keeping. It's sad to think that they are profiting from the war in Israel, at the expense of trusting customers who didn't read the fine print. Friendship Tours did refund the rest of the money I paid for the trip, but has not refunded the $1,200 "non refundable" deposit. I am saddened and disheartened that Nasir would not respectfully communicate with me on this topic. I hope to warn others of this behavior and save them from the financial risk of doing "business" with Friendship Tours. As a comparison, during the COVID pandemic, Disney refunded 100% of the money we paid for a cruise (including the deposit), which Disney cancelled. Disney ensured our continued business.

I would not recommend friendship Tours ,our trip was canceled and now they are trying to reap a windfall profit by not returning unused portion of our money.

Friendship Tours of Moorpark, CA deserve no stars. I am astonished that there are no reviews listed. Their Facebook is a controlled environment with 5 star ratings but no YELP reviews. How could that be. We will see if this posts. My husband and I signed up for the Holy Land tour with 50 others from our church. We had to cancel due to a medical issue. Even though we cancelled 7 months in advance, the CEO Nasser would not refund the $600 deposit even with a doctor's excuse. An 80 year old widow from our church also had an issue and was denied her deposit as well and she cancelled 8 months in advance. The CEO kept referring to the non-refundable deposit clause. I wrote him an unanswered email stating that our travel agent of 45 years was dumbfounded that the deposit was not returned especially since our church had a waiting list of other couples who were replacing those who cancelled. Very unprofessional and just down right sad for a company that makes their money on other's misfortunes.

Thanks to them, once again our travelers experienced an amazing tour in the land where Jesus walked. They were especially helpful in navigating the Covid protocols leaving the United States, entering Israel, and returning home as well. The in-country guide and bus driver were excellent. Israel is open for tourism again and we saw all the sites we usually s ee. The hotel and buffets were as good as ever.
