Hadimba Temple: Located amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, the Hadimba Temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatothkach. Surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of goddess Hidimba herself. Manu temple: The Manu Temple is said to be the only temple dedicated to the King Manu, who was later known as Sage Manu in India. The temple is a pagoda structure that offers a glimpse into history and spirituality through its fascinating architecture. Some may find it difficult to reach Manu Temple because there is only a narrow road that leads to the shrine; however, the journey is certainly pleasant.  Van Vihar: Adorned with sky touching deodar trees, Van Vihar National Park is located near the Mall Road making it easily accessible. The favourite attraction of this park is a man-made lake that is open for boating. Manali Club House: The Club House in Manali is an amusement and adventure retreat set up on the banks of the Manalsu Nalla, a branch of the breathtaking Beas River. It has indoor and outdoor activities like Billiards, Carom, Video Games, Table Tennis, Roller skating rink, River crossing, Go-karting, Zip lining and Ropeway. It also has a restaurant and bar along with some small stalls for local shopping. Manikaran: Manikaran is  a famous pilgrimage destination for both Sikhs and Hindus. It is known for Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib and the hot springs. There are three hot springs where one can take a bath, one being inside the Gurudwara itself and the other two being privatised by the guesthouses. Different sections for men and women are made at the bathing place. The water in these springs contains sulphur which is believed to cure many diseases. Solang Valley: 14 kilometres to the north west of the main town of Manali, Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It is famous for adventure activities like parachuting, paragliding, horse riding, driving mini-open jeeps, zorbing, etc. During winters, Solang valley is covered with snow, making skiing is a popular sport here. Rohtang Pass: Located at a distance of just 51 kilometres from Manali, Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres on Manali- Keylong road. Activities like sledging, mountain biking and skiing are popular here. Due to heavy snowfall in winters, the pass remains closed from November to May.  Atal Tunnel: Also referred to as the Rohtang Tunnel, Atal Tunnel is a horseshoe-shaped highway tunnel that connects Manali and the Lahaul-Spiti valley, reducing the time taken by around 4-5 hours. Named after the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the tunnel is the world’s longest one above 10,000 feet and is constructed in the Pir Panjal ranges, under the Rohtang Pass.  Jogini Waterfalls: Jogini Waterfall is located about 3 kilometres away from the bustling town of Manali and around 2 kilometres away from Vashisht Temple. What makes it a popular tourist spot is the trek from Vashisht Temple, through pine trees and orchards, to the mesmerising Jogini Waterfalls cascading from a height of 160 feet. It is considered as one of the most romantic attractions in Manali. Vashisht Baths: Located inside the very famous Vashisht Temple in Manali, Vashisht Baths is a hot water spring, believed to possess medicinal values. Also known as Vashisht Springs, it is visited by a lot of tourists, many of whom take a dip in the holy water to rid themselves of skin diseases and infections. Kullu: Kullu, a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh is located on the banks of the Beas river. Kullu is generally coupled with its sister town Manali. It has few important temples like the Raghunath Temple and Jagannath Devi Temple. There are many treks that also originate from this area include the Bijli Mahadev Temple Trek, Parvati Valley Trek, etc. With panoramic views and majestic hills covered with Deodar and Pine trees, Kullu is a nature lover’s paradise. Rafting is a popular activity here that starts from Pirni, around 4 km away from Kullu.

Rafting in Kullu Manali usually starts at 10:00 AM and takes about 1.5 hours. The 2 nights 3 days Manali tour package is the shortest possible tour to Manali which covers all the major tourist places of Manali. In this package, you can visit Manali town (including Mall Road, Hidimba Devi temple (Hadimba temple), Old Manali, Vashisht Hot Water spring, Van Vihar, Buddhist monastery, Solang valley and Atal tunnel .

You can also visit Rohtang pass , Marhi, Beas Nala, Gulaba and Kothi (if road is open). All these major tourist places of Manali can be seen in two days.

This tour is generally known as 3 days Manali Volvo package as most tourists prefer travelling in Volvo bus which is comfortable than small cars. However, if your timing does not match, you can ask us to book a private cab for you which will pick/drop you from/to Delhi or Chandigarh.

Brief Itinerary for 2 nights 3 days Manali tour package:-

Day 1: Delhi – Manali (overnight journey by Volvo bus)

Day 2: Manali Arrival, bus stand pick-up, Hotel check-in, local sightseeing of Manali

Day 3: Manali- Solang valley – Atal tunnel – Manali (Rohtang pass visit will depend on opening of road and availability of permits at extra charges)

Day 4: Manali – Naggar/Kasol – Delhi (by overnight Volvo bus).

Day 1: Delhi to Manali 

Board the Volvo Bus from Delhi in the evening for your overnight journey to Manali via Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Sundernagar, Mandi and Kullu. The bus will reach Manali in the morning.

Day 2: Local Sightseeing

Meal: Dinner

Our driver will pick you up from the Volvo stand and will transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After you check-into your hotel after a long hectic journey, have rest in your room for a while. Later, enjoy the local sightseeing of popular places of Manali including Hidimba Devi Temple, Club House/Old Manali, Buddhist monastery, Vashisht and natural hot water spring at Vashisht, at evening explore the local market and mall road. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3: Atal Tunnel and Solang (snow point) (Rohtang pass optional)

Meal: Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast we shall move to Atal tunnel, 23km from Manali via Solang valley. The road to newly built 9.02km long Atal Tunnel is very scenic with view of hanging glacier at Dhundi. You will get to see snow covered Mt. Hanuman Tibba peak. Atal tunnel is the world’s longest highway tunnel above altitude of 10,000ft from sea level. Cross the tunnel, you will reach Lahaul valley, and return back to Solang. At Solang valley you can enjoy horse riding, gondola (ropeway), paragliding and many other adventure activities. Later return back to your hotel in Manali.

Visiting Rohtang pass will depend on weather/opening of the road and availability of permit. If possible, you can visit Rohtang pass at extra charges.

Day 4: Manali-Kullu-Delhi

Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel. Today you can visit Naggar, Jana and Kullu (Or Kullu, Kasol and Manikaran). Your Volvo will leave Manali for Delhi in the evening. Your boarding time will be 4pm. You can board your bus from Kullu. The bus will drop you in Delhi the next morning. Your trip to Manali concludes here.

Our Gondola ride was awesome and we really had a great experience in both the phases. We were a group of 20 people. On our way to Gulmarg two guys get into our minibus saying they will show us the different points and he will arrange for the ponies by which we would have to go. Most of our group people came into his talks. I, my husband and niece had decided to walk it out as we didn't want to spend on ponies. He said the ponies would cost 1,500 and the overcoat and gumboots would cost 300/-. I just asked one of our group members to bargain after which the whole price was fixed at 1,500/- per person. This price was actually too high. As majority of them were going on ponies we too had to go along with them. Four of them had opted not to go for the Gondola ride. He bullied them also to take the ponies to see the points. He was so forceful. They said if charges are Rs 1000/- only then they would go. He went on arguing and finally agreed for it. First of all they never showed us any points, there was one herdsmen for two to three horses. It was scary as the path wasn't plain and riding the horses wasn't comfortable at all. It took us a long time to reach the Gondola ride. Taxis too go to the starting of the Gondola poin but this person wouldn't let us go for it. On reaching there we had to stand in the queue for a very very long time. We hardly spend half an hour in the first phase and then stood in the queue for the second phase. The queue was so long we had to stand in the queue almost 6 times. Most of our time and energy was lost standing in the queue. We were dead tired and just wanted to reach our hotel. I made up my mind that I will not go back on the pony ut we will take a cab. This man who had bullied us was waiting for us. The moment we came out he was shooing us to one side and asking for the rest of our group members. I told him that we aren't interested in going back on pony but will go back in taxi. He got hyper and started demanding payment. We told him that only once all our group members come and we reach our minibus will we pay him. We argued with him that none of them showed us any points nor were the horses attended to so we will pay him less but he was a very dirty character and finally we had no choice but to pay him in full. This was a very horrible experiment we had with the local people at Gulmarg. I would suggest that you bargain with one fourth of the cost they tell you and there is cab also for which you can bargain but not sure how much they will come down to. The rooms and bathroom are NOT cleaned or sanitized daily. Towels are replaced daily but very questionable if they are clean. You can literally see stains on them. Shower and toilet is leaking at all times and their explanation is the way the train is slanting on the track. On day 4, the toilet water was brown and we all were utterly disgusted and absolutely turned off. In addition, the shower was not clean and I had to literally remove a ball of hair from the train since the shower was not draining. The staff is hospitable, greets you with a smile at all times and very helpful.. probably the only good thing on the train. The day trips were the second good thing. Good tour guides showing and explaining the history. Umesh the trip coordinator was good. The general manager on the train Mr. Bora most certainly had his favorites when in reality he should have gone around asking how he could make the trip better. My son had requested eggs for breakfast the first morning on the train and he never got it. On the last day he requested for french fries and again undelivered. I recently read a review that the train had gone through $57 million dollar renovation and I truly feel that not even 1/10 of this allocated money went towards it. I also felt that the foreigners were treated like world class travelers while NRI were not given the same treatment. We were a family of 4 visiting from US for the first time in India and we were truly disappointed by the appearance and amenities on board this “world class luxury train” called “palace” on wheels. Mr Gaurav Pol helped us for customised the tour as per our requirements and time limit. He was very helpful. Just before the trip Mr Swapnil Apte (guest relationship) explained in details the itinerary and helped us in planning our trip. All the arrangements done for tour were very nice. Hotel arrangements were excellent. The tour driver cum guide was very good and co operative. Mr Swapnil was in touch with us during the trip also. Itinerary (Day Wise)

Chandigarh – shimla (1 night) (approx 121 kms/ 4hrs or approx.).

Arrive at Chandigarh airport and proceed to Shimla. Today you can enjoy a stroll on the famous Mall road of Shimla and view Shimla Church, Scandal point, the Ridge etc. Later in the evening we check-in to our hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Shimla – Manali (3 Nights) ((250 km – approx. 7 hrs.)

Today we proceed to Manali, en route we drive past the Beas Sutlej Link Project, Pandoh Dam and Scenic Kullu Valley, we also visit Kullu Shawl factory. In the evening we arrive at Manali – gorgeous hill station located in the heart of snowy mountains. Overnight stay in Manali.

• Breakfast & Dinner

Today a spectacular drive will take us to Rohtang Road Snow Point. We have free time to play in the snow and click pictures to our heart’s content. Later we visit Hidimba Mandir – set amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery – known for its architectural beauty. We then have free time for shopping. Overnight in Manali.

Note: Rohtang pass is 51 kms away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road which has been permitted by the Border Security Force. Also note: Snow clothes jackets and gum boots are available on rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road you can rent it at an additional cost if needed.

Manali – Solang Valley – Manali

Today we drive through the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet. We view the Sissu Waterfall. Later we proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Guests with an adventurous spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking and Hiking at an additional cost. Overnight in Manali.

Manali – Chandigarh (1 Night) (280kms, Approx 7hrs)

Today let’s experience the thrilling activity of River Rafting (subject to operation) in the rapids of the cool white waters of Beas River. Later we proceed to Chandigarh and check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Note: For safety reasons guests weighing above 30-35kgs will be allowed for water rafting.

Chandigarh – Departure to hometown

Cancellation Policy & Payment Terms

• If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
• Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
• Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
• Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
• Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

Payment Terms

• Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
• There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
• Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
