For a lot of people, Uzbekistan is a country they never heard of before. That should come as no surprise because even though it’s rich with history, it was mostly closed off to foreigner since the end of the cold war. It is an ancient trade route connecting the Mediterranean with Asian, enriching the country with resources as well as the ability to build magnificent structures. What’s more, those structures still exist to this day.

Not just that, Uzbekistan is also the home of Islamic civilisation. There are various mosques and mausoleums scattered across is multiple cities. A stop in Samarkand alone will take your breath away. It’s one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Central Asia. There you can find evidence of the rise and fall of empires from Persia to the Mongols.

The question is, how do you get there?

Even with the country’s recent change of administration and reform, there’s still a lot not known about it. Other than its history, most people know almost nothing about the current state of the country. That means it might very well be a terrifying prospect to some.

Yes, the majority of Uzbekistan’s population are Muslims, and you won’t have to be wary of what you eat there. You won’t even have to think about where to stop for daily prayers. However, figuring out how to get to one location to the next can take a lot of time if you don’t know where you’re going.

Why not let us at Via Vacation help you?

With experts passionate about travelling, history and more, we have put together packages that will suit your need. So, if you’re interested in seeing the country, you could choose from our Uzbekistan Muslim Travel Packages.

We will take you on a journey and ensure your comfort while you’re there. You won’t have to worry about flights, accommodation or even spending on meals. We will sort all of that for you. Afraid of getting lost? Don’t. Follow along the footsteps of your tour guide.

Uzbekistan — a rich tapestry of architectural wonders, diverse natural reserves and modern booming development attracts the attention of the whole world.

For centuries, Uzbekistan sat at the intersection of the Great trade routes along which merchants and discoverers, geographers and missionaries, invaders and conquerors passed cross each other on their journeys to east or west. In modern times, Uzbekistan is top on travel agenda for adventurous people interested in culture and history, traditions, natured exotic destinations.

Uzbekistan is gently proud of its traditionally classic architecture. The Ichan-Kala complex in Khiva, and the historical centers of Bukhara, Shakhrisabz and Samarkand are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Many unique monuments and architectural constructions in these towns still remain genuine and are samples of an era that played a significant role in history.

For all the flavours of its storied past, cultural mosaics and unique natural beauty, warmth, hospitality and enthusiasm of the people, Uzbekistan is the country to visit and marvel.

Moreover, from 10th of February 2018 citizens of Malaysia can visit Uzbekistan without visa for period up to 30 days.

One of the best resorts we’ve stayed in so far. We took 3d2n package with breakfast, lunch & din provided. Food given large quantity, esp seafood & service was fine. Stayed in Garden Villa chalet. Very clean & comfortable. Housekeeping crew came to clean, very prompt & quick. Clean & nice beach, about 20 paces away from room, as well as clean pool, about 10 paces from room. Surrounding well kept. Resort is, of course, not new but it’s more than adequate to unwind & relax. Came during off-peak season & feels like you have whole resort to yourself! Thank you to staff for memorable holiday.
