Sue B picked us up at the airport to attend a two day business meeting, on our return trip back to the airport, she graciously took us a tour to see the Garden of the Gods! We appreciate her efforts on our short stay to show us some of the natural beauty! We have her contact info to call her on our return visit!! Highly recommend!
Terrible........I waited, waited and waited, only to repeatedly get the automated recording saying they were trying to get me a driver. Not a good way to run a business.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY -if you need to get somewhere in time Booked a ride for 3:45am to catch a flight and they never showed. Called and they told me that that didn't have any drivers- they all timed out for the amount of driving permitted. That's all find and dandy but WHY DON'T they let the CLIENT know? No notifications no cancellation. Just. NO SHOW. HIGHLY UNDEPENDABLE SO THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK.
Worthless. Scheduled a pickup, waited 15 minutes, taxi didn't show. Automated voice attendant called while i drove (myself) to the airport. "I'm trying to find you a taxi..." Don't waste your time. Lyft/uber are far more reliable.
This company is totally incompetent. I schedule a pickup time for a specific time and they never show up on time. The show up at least 30 or more minutes late. I also normally schedule a pickup time at the place I was dropped of. They now tell me that they don't do that anymore. I been doing this every time I use this crappy company. I was told that it's always been their company policy. That is a bunch of BS. If you need a ride from them I would suggest that you look for an alternative. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!!!!!! Terrible, terrible company!!!!!!!
This company is clearly on its way out, & for a very good reason: its competitors are far superior. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner this entity folds, the better. Do not count on this operation, or ever assume its management/drivers will do what they say they're going to do. I made a reservation 24 hours in advance, received an automated confirmation call on the morning of the theoretical pick-up, and nobody ever showed up. The reservation was for a veterinary visit, which was of no small importance, & which could not be readily rescheduled. All they could say when I called was that they were "still searching" for another driver; eventually one called & said they couldn't be there for another 30 minutes. Far more significantly, however, this is the 5th time that this has happened. Which makes this neither an isolated incident nor a simple matter of bad luck. I should have learned my lesson sooner, but the upshot is: don't use them. That simple.
Doubled the rate I was quoted, and left me off at a side door with no way of getting into the hotel lobby. Do not use this business.
After returning from a trip, I just thought that I would grab a taxi instead of waiting for an Uber. It is 5 miles from the COS airport to my house and the fare ended up being over $17. I still gave a tip and overall, the fare ended up being double what I paid for an Uber going to the airport. Never again.
I'm stunned at their BAD service. I got a cab yesterday morning. He arrived and took me to work. He gave me a $5 discount and the 10 mile ride was only $25 instead of $30 (he said it was a discount). This rate is almost double a Lyft ride. So this morning I do the same route and get a call 50 minutes later and 5 minutes after I was suppose to be at work. I was told I was driven the day before and the driver commented it out. I told them this was the second drive and they are like "OH! we can get you ride". And they wanted to put me in their automated loop again. Mind you I'm now 15 minutes late for work The offshore phone center whom I couldn't understand put me through to another foreign agent who was difficult to understand and screeching noise & chaos in the back ground. I told him I couldn't hear him with all the noise. He asked me if it was better 3 times - He finally sounded like he went into a quiet area so we could talk. I told him I was now late for work after calling almost an hour earlier for the cab. He said, "I'll get you covered - I said I want some sort of compensation for you guys screwing my ride up and making me late for work. He say and I quote - "That will never happen. I said, "I'm going to call a new taxi service." and I hung up. So here I sit @ 8:22 am I was suppose to be at work at 8am (they would have let me be 1/2 hour late under the circumstances - but communication with the cab service Ztrip was so pitiful. I just lost a $250 pay day to help me pay for my 2 flat tires on my RV sitting in the Costco parking 10 miles from my job site - - - This was Ztrip mess up saying I had already been delivered (but that was yesterday). I wouldn't recommend them unless you have hours to wait and extra money for their extra high rates for a 10 mile drive ($25 without tip). I'm in Colorado Springs - but my profile is saying San Francisco
ZTrip is an all round joke!!!! I give it a -TEN I work at a bar in town so naturally we call for a taxi... mind you the rider is a blind man, waited literally four hours and still as I write this no taxi has shown... absolutely heartbreaking you call yourself a business but don't act like a business... pathetic... and not even the first time for this bs either

Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs becomes latest taxi provider to switch to zTrip brand.
by admin | Jun 8, 2018 | Media | 0 comments
Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs announced Monday it will change its name to zTrip on Thursday as part of new strategy to combine smartphone hailing with its traditional taxi service to better compete with app-based riding sharing services Uber and Lyft.
Transdev On Demand, parent company of Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs, started using the zTrip name in 2012 and has adopted the new brand in all but two of the 18 U.S. cities where it operates, including Boulder in January 2016 and Fort Collins in June 2016. Yellow Cab of Denver, which is operated by Metro Taxi, also uses the zTrip app.
“zTrip is the new face of the taxi industry,” said Vanessa Keim, director of marketing for zTrip of Colorado Springs. “It is the best of both worlds. You can use an app to hail a ride, but you can still hail a cab on the street or call or go online to book a trip and we still provide wheelchair-accessible service.”
About 90 percent of Yellow Cab’s 145-vehicle fleet has been repainted with the zTrip logo; the rest of the vehicles will be retired by year’s end and thus will not be repainted, Keim said. The company also expects to receive 15 new vehicles later this week with the zTrip logo and colors, she said.
The company will host a celebration from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Weidner Field, 6303 Barnes Road, home of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks soccer club, that will include free entertainment, beer from Pikes Peak Brewery, food trucks, face painting and a fundraising benefit for Jason and Janelle Graham, family members of a zTrip driver whose Houston home was destroyed last month by Hurricane Harvey.
The zTrip application allows users to book and cancel a trip, choose the type of vehicle they want to pick them up, get a rate quote upfront that does not include surge pricing used by other providers for peak demand periods, choose the payment form, get text message updates and track their driver until arrival, rate the driver and get customer support. The company said all of its drivers are licensed and work full time, are fully insured and have completed background checks.
“Unlike our competitors, we aren’t fighting background checks, we are embracing them,” zTrip President Bill George said in a news release on the name change. “We are committed to providing our drivers with the best working environment in the on-demand transportation sector.”
The company was founded by The Broadmoor hotel in 1927 to serve its guests and was acquired in 2012 by what its now Transdev On Demand. Springs Cab began serving the Colorado Springs area in 2011 and both Uber and Lyft expanded to Colorado Springs in 2014. Teller Cab serves the Ute Pass area, including Woodland Park.
