I’ve been exhibiting at the show since 2015, and have been speaking since 2019—including when they had to go virtual.

To say I’m a fan is an understatement.

Why do I love this show so much? It’s not only the excitement of planning future travels; it’s because everyone is so darn happy.

As an exhibitor, I get to talk to hundreds, nay, thousands of people. Many of them have become friends. It’s a true pleasure to see so many like-minded travelers in one place.

In 2024, I’ll be exhibiting and speaking in Atlanta for the first time! I’m so excited I have to sit on my hands to keep from clapping (and if you know me, you know that’s not an exaggeration).

7 tips for attending the atlanta travel and adventure show, 1. check the speaker schedule.

Before you go, visit travelshows.com to see who’s speaking when. That way you won’t miss Peter Greenberg or Andrew McCarthy.

You also won’t miss me! I’m on the Savvy Traveler stage at 11:45am on Saturday and 1:45pm on Sunday, helping you Plan your PERFECT Road Trip .

2. Pick out your must-stop Exhibitor booths

There are a ton of destinations and travel companies exhibiting at the show. They’re literally from all over the world.

Before you go, check the list of exhibitors and review the floor plan. If there are some places you know you must see while you’re there (like Booth 347, ahem, ahem), make a note of them. You can even print out the floor plan.

3. Bring a water bottle

Convention centers are often dry, and you’ll probably be talking to a lot of people. Bring a water bottle so you can fill up throughout the day.

4. Wear comfortable shoes

You’re going to be doing a lot of walking. Skip the slick footwear and wear something comfortable. (Which can also be slick,.)

5. Bring stickers and/or business cards

Huh? Bring stickers?

There are a LOT of giveaways and contests at the show. As someone who does the data entry after each time I’ve exhibited, I can tell you the best way to be sure someone can read your information is to type it on a sticker.

Include your name, your address, and your email. Some places may also require a phone number.

After the last show, we’d received at least thirty entries that I couldn’t read, which meant they took the time to enter, but I had no way to include them in the drawing.

They’re probably wondering what happened to me, but there’s nothing I can do.

Business cards also make contest entry easy.

6. Bring a small bag

While many exhibitors give away bags, it’s a good idea to bring your own. That way you’ll have a spot to put all those brochures, flyers, tchotchkes, and books you purchase (like, say, Planning Your Perfect Road Trip , which is discounted at the show).

I’ve been exhibiting at the Travel and Adventure Show for years, and it’s one of my favorite events. Not only do I get to meet hundreds, if not thousands, of like-minded travelers, but I also find new destinations to visit.

Because of the Travel and Adventure Show, I’ve had incredible experiences at destinations I connected with at the show.

A few include taking a heritage train ride in Arizona , visiting Ridgeland Mississippi (with a side trip to a UNESCO World Heritage Site ), and eating all the cherries in Traverse City, Michigan.

And I only get about an hour to walk the floor, if that! Lucky you, you can take all day, or all weekend.

This show is a bonanza for travelers. Exhibitors travel from literally all over the world to showcase their destinations.

Atlanta Travel and Adventure Show returns with deals, destination ideas

The Atlanta Travel & Adventure Show is an opportunity for travel buffs to brush up on thousands of the latest vacation options at the world’s trending vacation hotspots, as well as a chance to speak with experts to help personalize and book plans.

“Learn the latest travel tips, trends and advice on 4 theaters located right on the show floor, and get the chance to meet your favorite travel celebrities, including Peter Greenberg and Andrew McCarthy,” according to the event’s website. “Plus, you’ll have access to over ten-of-thousands of dollars in travel savings, trip giveaways and exclusive show-only deals, all included with your ticket.”

Advance tickets purchased online come at two price points: $13 for one day and $20 for two days. Children 16 and under gain entry for free when accompanied by an adult, and visitors will have to bring their credit cards — cash will not be accepted. Tickets can be purchased here .

The show will take place 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway SE. For more information on directions and parking, visit here .

The event will feature thousands of experts who can help customize and plan trips by providing “the ‘inside knowledge’ so you can travel like a ‘local,” according to the website.

To keep up with it all, the Atlanta Travel & Adventure Show has included a floor plan featuring the locations of each day’s exhibitors. That can be found here .

The show will also feature more than 30 sessions to help visitors “travel like a rockstar.” And guest speakers from across the travel industry will provide tips and insightful stories.

Skyview Atlanta, our iconic downtown Ferris wheel, has announced its annual Birthday Bash event, to celebrate its 9th year in downtown Atlanta.

The event takes placed on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first 50 people to arrive will receive a GOLDEN TICKET for FREE admission.

Throughout the day, the Birthday Bash will feature live entertainment and special guests, and you can check the Skyview Facebook page for details.

We’re also told you can expect FREE face-painting and balloon art from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by free snacks and sweet treats.

DC Travel Show Discount Tickets: COMP – $8

Travel and Adventure Show 2023 free tickets – The D.C. Travel Show is free for kids 16 and under, make sure  to print out a ticket  for your child. They must be accompanied by an adult.

For adults 17 and over, the 2023 Washington D.C. Travel Show tickets cost $11 for a one-day admission plus a $1.08 service fee per ticket and $18 for a 2-day admission plus a $1.29 service fee per ticket. They are available online from the Travel and Adventure show website.

You can also buy Washington DC Travel Show tickets onsite at the Convention Center for $16 for a one-day adult ticket and $24 for a 2-day adult ticket.

Initial Billie Eilish tickets are sold through Ticketmaster . Tickets were first sold through a pre-sale from Tuesday, April 30 at 12 p.m. ET to Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m. ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Ticketmaster starting on Friday, May 3 at 12 p.m. ET.
