sf6 world tour final mission

How to complete What It Means to Be Strong mission in Street Fighter 6

Image of Cale Michael

Street Fighter 6 built up its World Tour mode to be something the series has never seen before, and the entire story hinges on a single question—what does it mean to be strong? That is also the name of the game’s final mission, even though you might have some difficulty actually completing your journey.

After completing Chapter 15-1 and the climactic battle for World Tour I won’t spoil just yet, Capcom puts players back into Metro City and asks them to continue their journey to find strength and what it means to them. This comes in the form of Chapter 15-2: “What It Means to Be Strong.”

This is a very open-ended question and no new mission marker appears when you toggle progression on for it, but it is actually really easy to close out your journey.

Street Fighter 6 : How to finish World Tour Chapter 15-2 ‘What It Means to Be Strong’

The entire World Tour story is built on the prospect of you taking your custom fighter and venturing out into the world on a quest to find what strength means to you. But by the end of it all, Capcom leaves things open to interpretation.

During your journey you might have run into the Infooencer, basically World Tour’s version of a YouTube celebrity that keeps up with fighters and tournaments to share bad video titles on FooTube. He is also the “goal” for this final story mission to an extent.

He should be located near a Taxi in the main spawn area for Metro City. Talking to him will prompt a conversation where he asks if you have found what strength is and finished everything you need to do in areas like Old Nayshall.

If you answer that you have found strength and that you have completed your journey, he will tell you about the Battle Hub and that there is no real end since it is a “wide world out there.” The end of your World Tour is lightly nudging you to hop online and test your skills against other players.

No matter what you answer, you can continue playing World Tour mode, complete missions you have yet to wrap up and continue training with your Masters to learn new techniques . You do get some SF6 key art to use as your in-game phone’s background—though it is just the box art for the game itself.

How to unlock Akuma as a master in Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode

None

However, it turns out that this latest character isn't exactly ready to throw himself at the services as a master to the the player avatar as easily as the rest of the roster. Quite a bit needs to be done before Akuma will even acknowledge the player.

To begin, the player must first approach an SiRN poster that's looking to hire testers. More specifically, the poster is seeking the attention of those who have acquired a variety of fighting styles under multiple masters.

Needless to say, this actually seems like it'd be the start of a quest to fight Seth rather than Akuma. As odd as it may seem, completion of this quest will unlock the means to reveal Akuma's location.

Completing this quest requires that the player to know Luke's Flash Knuckle, JP's Stribog, and Manon's Manège Doré specials. Due to the master unlock requirements for JP, this quest can't be completed until finishing the main story of World Tour mode.

After performing these special moves against Copy Fighters enough times, the SiRN staff member will bring mention to Akuma, whom he heard about from Retsu. From here, the player must seek out Retsu to ask him about Akuma's whereabouts.

Upon doing this, Gokuento will be unlocked. Going there will show a cutscene, but this first encounter won't leave much of an impression on Akuma. After the cutscene ends, Akuma will disappear without even fighting the player.

At this point, the player will have to talk to Retsu again, then return to Gokuento. Approaching Akuma, who is level 80, will initiate a fight with him, but Akuma will end it prematurely and leave without a word.

In a text message, Retsu recommends seeking more lessons from other masters. Of course, Ryu seems like a good candidate due to his connection with Akuma.

Upon fighting Ryu, he'll tell the player avatar that Akuma is likely sensing their fear. Akuma can be approached again, but the outcome will be similar, though Akuma will leave with a "Hmph" this time, implying that Akuma has noticed some improvement.

The player avatar can then seek another lesson from Luke Sullivan. After this fight, Luke will tell the player that they need to fight with more confidence.

Akuma can then be fought a third time. This battle will once again end prematurely. However, this time, a cutscene will play that shows Akuma finishing the player avatar off with a dragon punch.

He'll begin walking away, but stops as the avatar lets out a laugh. Akuma questions this, hinting at a similarity between the player avatar and Ryu.

It's only then that Akuma agrees to train the player. Check it all out courtesy of RajmanGaming HD below:

Street Fighter 6's King of Fighters Crossover DLC Explained

8-year-old zelda fan gets incredible reward after beating tears of the kingdom, genshin impact leak teases natlan geo character, quick links, chapter 14 - 1: from one friend to another walkthrough, chapter 14 - 2: the transporter walkthrough, chapter 14 - 3: mountain of history walkthrough, chapter 14 - 4: the mountain hideout walkthrough, chapter 14 - 5: the clock is ticking walkthrough.

Chapter 14 is the penultimate chapter of the Street Fighter 6 World Tour mode and sees players learning more about the resistance's plans for Bosch and the history of Nayshall. They'll also come face to face with the game's main antagonist for the first time as well as square off against an old rival one last time.

RELATED: Street Fighter 6: The Best Master Gifts in World Tour Mode

In total, players should expect to spend around an hour completing Chapter 14 of World Tour mode, with the bulk of that time spent dealing with the scavenger hunt-style mission at the very beginning. There'll be frequent fights and encounters throughout the chapter too though, so players should make sure to stock up on healing items before they get started.

When Chapter 14 of World Tour mode first begins, Street Fighter 6 players will receive a message containing a list of items that they need to collect. As they're already in Metro City, it makes sense to get started at the Red Steel Factory in the Urban Park area, which is where players can find both the Spring and the Connector. If they already unlocked the gate earlier on then they can head straight up the ladder near the entrance. If not, players will need to head to the back of the building and then work their way around to the front.

After gaining entry, players will be shown the location of a chest containing one of the items and the button that they have to press in order to reach it. Once this short cinematic ends, they'll need to keep following the path ahead of them, which leads back outside and up some stairs. There, on one of the exterior walkways, they'll find a SiRN chest containing the Connector. Soon after, they'll come to the button that they were shown earlier, and, after defeating the rampaging enemies, they can press it and then drop down to open the chest containing the Spring, which is being guarded by a few more drones.

The last thing to do in Metro City is to head back to Leonardo the counterfeiter, who can once again be found on Skywalk Lane. As in Chapter 3 of World Tour mode when players first met with Leonardo, the best way to reach him is via the walkway across the street from the Hangout. Leonardo will take the Connector and hand over the Safety Pin, after which, players can make their way to the Ranger's Hut area of Brazil via the World Map screen.

To get the Gold Medal, players will need to speak with Blanka-Chan multiple times and repeatedly choose the negative dialogue option. Eventually, Blanka-Chan will get fed up with being told that they're not cute, at which point, a fight will break out. Despite being against a Level 50 opponent, this skirmish is surprisingly easy, with Blanka-Chan far slower than even the most powerful of powerhouses and nowhere near as strong. Once players win the fight, they'll be given the Gold Medal as a reward.

For the final two items, players will need to make their way over to Nayshall and then change the time of day to Night by visiting the Hangout. To get the Capacitors, they'll want to head to the Vashal Foothills via the Central Bazaar area. There, they'll find a Vagrant Fridge and will need to beat it in combat. It will counter pretty much every attack that hits it while its door is closed, so players should keep blocking until it begins to fire out individual food items and then hit it while the door is open. Drive Impacts and Master Assists can be useful here but are nowhere near as effective as a simple projectile Special such as Ryu's Hadouken or Dhalsim's Yoga Fire .

Once the fridge has been taken care of, players should head down into the Lowlands, crossing the pipe and the wooden plank that leads toward the area where they found Bao in Chapter 11 of World Tour mode . There, behind a bunch of angry appliances, they'll find a small Roomba-type enemy labeled MS400V, which they'll need to beat in a fight. It zips around incredibly quickly, but players can beat it pretty easily just by spamming low kicks, as doing so will usually hit the enemy as it whizzes passed the playable character.

With all five parts in hand, players will need to speak with Rewancha, who can be found in the Central Bazaar area of Old Nayshall during daytime hours. Doing so will lead to Rewancha telling players that they need to climb Mount Vashal, after which, the mission will end and players will receive 10,000 Zenny and three Ultra Mighty Jawdecimators.

Assuming they unlocked it earlier, players can fast travel to the "Vashal Foothills - Ruins" bus stop and then swing a right toward the dusty trail. As they approach it, they'll be asked if they want to go to Mount Vashal and should select the "Yes" option at this point. They can then follow the path up until they reach Kalima, who, after delivering an impromptu history lesson of sorts, will ask the player to return to the area during nighttime hours.

For this next part, players simply need to return to the Hangout to change the time of day to Night and then make their way straight back to the mountain. Now, they'll be able to head deeper into the cave system, where they should follow the path leading upward until they come to a ledge in front of a waterfall. Once at this spot, they should use the Spinning Bird Kick Master Action by holding R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) and then pressing the corresponding face button.

Once on the other side of the waterfall, Kalima and Rewancha will explain their plan for bringing down JP, which doesn't sit well with the playable character at all. This results in another fight with Rewancha, which is not all that different from the one in Chapter 7 of World Tour Mode . The biggest difference here is that he will use the occasional Drive Impact, so players should be ready to counter these with Drive Impacts of their own as and when needed. Other than that, they can use the old block and punish strategy to end the fight with relative ease.

For the final mission of Chapter 14, players will need to follow the tunnels at the back of the mountain hideout until they reach the Surval'hal Arena basement. Once there, they simply need to follow the quest marker until they come to the room containing the championship belt, which will trigger a cutscene with JP . Once this cutscene ends, both the mission and the chapter will be marked as complete and players will receive 2,000 Miles as a reward.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

How to unlock Jamie as a Master in Street Fighter 6 World Tour cover image

Jamie, Street Fighter 6’s Zui Quan practitioner can become your Master in the World Tour Mode. Here’s how to unlock him:

Like several of the new Street Fighter 6 additions, Jamie is only unlockable as a Master in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour by advancing the story and doing some side missions. Here’s how to unlock Jamie as your Master in SF6’s World Tour mode:

Unlock Jamie as a Master in Street Fighter 6 World Tour

(Image via esports.gg)

Jamie appears in the game during Chapter 8. While walking around the alley in Chinatown, near where you found Chun-Li in the story, you’ll encounter Jamie fighting on thugs. This will trigger a cutscene and you’ll be able to see Jamie in action. This will only happen at night .

(Image via esports.gg)

Once that cutscene is over, you won’t immediately be able to talk to Jamie. Instead, head a way, and progress with a mission, fight, or something else. Come back to the Alley, and you’ll find Jamie has made his way to the rooftops, near where you fought the Mad Gear punks earlier in the story. Again, make sure you're doing this at night . Head to the top of the roof and talk to Jamie, and you’ll unlock him as your Master in Street Fighter 6 World Tour!

How to unlock Jamie’s Outfit 2 for free

(Image via esports.gg)

You can unlock Jamie’s Outfit 2 in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode. To do this, you need to take him on as your Master and raise his Bond level to maximum. While fighting in Jamie’s fighting style, using his Specials, and Super Arts, and fighting in sparring matches raises the bond, the best way by far is by giving him gifts.

Jamie’s preferred gift is the Bao Bao Bro Sticker, which is a gift available from the Hawker NPC in Jamaica. However, Jamie will be minorly pleased with almost every gift, so feel free to unload what you have on him to raise that bond quickly!
