Was lied to from the start. Was over charged. Didn't get my deposit back. Was told my vehicle was safe and in good shape. It wasn't. We got stranded for 20 hour because no one checked the tires before we left. Put my family in Danger. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! You will regret it

Cruise America Horrible Experience. My wife and I had a terrible experience with Cruise America in May, 2021. We began our journey in Brentwood Tennessee (near Nashville) renting a 19 foot camper. The business was disorganized and cluttered. Our first night at an RV park we discovered with sewage hose to our 19 foot camper van was cut or torn in half and barely reached the ground pipe. The water hose connecter was broken and sprayed so much water onto the ground that the camp owner asked us to only turn on his water when we used it. The toilet leaked after every use! Several of the small access doors on the outside of the camper van were held in place by paperclips or wire. And these were the minor issues. The vehicle was out of alignment, the steering pulled to the right, the shocks were bad. My wife refused to drive it. The second day, screws fell on our laps from above our heads! We could see the sky through the holes they left. When it rained, water dripped on our laps. Even worse, the whistling sound created by those holes driving on the freeway made it impossible talk. I bought duct tape to seal the holes but the tape kept coming loose. The journey was so bad we turned around on our second day and returned that van to Brentwood, dumped our stuff in our car, and started our trip over by automobile. We called their service center several times but they were no help. Their main suggestion was for us to drive hundreds of miles further to our destination in South Padre Island, Texas, where, if we could find a repair shop, they might be able to fix the alignment. Ridiculous. Cruise America obviously did not fix or inspect this equipment before lending it out. If you rent from Brentwood (and apparently from other locations based upon other bad reviews) you risk a very very bad experience. Cruise America was cheaper that other places, and now I know why. Instead of keeping their vehicles in good working order, they rent out equipment that is terrible. Their business model seems to be to spend no money maintaining or repairing vehicles and then deal with one unhappy customer after another. We went back and forth with Cruise America with all these problems for months. In the end, Cruise America did give us a lot of our money back. But of course it was not nearly enough to make up for that terrible trip. We will never again rent from them. I strongly advise you not to risk it either.

Hmmm what can't I say. This was THE worst, first AND the last time I will ever rent from them. From The disgusting used car lot that we picked the dirty camper up at in Brentwood Tennessee to the leaking roof , non-dewinterized hot water system, broke-down on the second-day of travel-stranding us for 5 days- replacing it with a damaged, low-oil level, did I say dirty yet, even higher mileage junk heap. These things are crap vehicles, u-haul truck frames with a half-assed plain Jane camper slapped on. Talk about noisy!!!! Couldn't even hear the radio over the road noise and shitty suspension!!!!! Did I say dirty? Oh and the fridges in these things should have been thrown out year's ago, rusty, smelled like fish guts. If you're not handy or a mechanic, you are fucked, I had to fix or diagnose at least 3 different problems daily!!!! I got two words for this bullshit company fffffffffffffff UUIUUUUU!!!!!!!!!

Zac in Brentwood, TN was extremely professional and made sure the RV was ready to go!! We had a blast on our trip and Zac wa there when we dropped it off. He has excellent customer service skills! I would recommend Cruise America Brentwood any day!!

Karen was excellent to deal with and was very thorough and detailed. Good experience and would recommend this location.  

Thanks to the staff at the Nashville/Donelson Pike location for their dedicated service to their customers. We had an emergency come up and had to cancel our trip. They were so kind in working with us, and helping us get our deposit back . We will definitely be returning to this location on our next RV rental.
