Multi-platinum-selling pop-rock band,  5 Seconds of Summer , will release their live album  The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall  digitally on  April 14 . Physical formats of the album are up for pre-order  NOW  and will be available on  July 14 .

The band is also excited to announce their  2023 World Tour –  The 5 Seconds of Summer Show –   which includes dates in South America, UK, Europe and North America with an appearance at the  When We Were Young  festival in Las Vegas. The tracks are taken from the band’s 2022 one-of-a-kind performance  “The Feeling of Falling Upwards”  at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall in London, a venue the band busked outside of when they moved to the UK to write for their very first album 10 years ago. The performance included reimagined versions of songs from their 11-year catalog including brand-new songs from their critically acclaimed fifth studio album  5SOS5 , accompanied by a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir.

“’The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ is simply supposed to describe to you the feeling that we have experienced together, the feeling of taking a leap of faith on such a fickle thing like music,”  expressed vocalist and drummer Ashton Irwin on stage at Royal Albert Hall,  “And sharing this experience together year after year, season after season of our lives.”

Multi-Platinum pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer will embark on a 2023 World Tour – The 5 Seconds of Summer Show – which includes dates in South America, UK, Europe, and North America, with an appearance at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas.

The US tour kicks off August 10 in Uncasville, Connecticut before hitting East Coast cities such as Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Bristow, Philadelphia, New York, and more. The run concludes with what will surely be an epic performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on September 14. From there, the band will travel to Europe and the UK. That leg of the global tour kicks off on September 23 in Lisbon, Portugal, and wraps up on October 12 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Before they were a multi-platinum selling band with an international fanbase of millions, 5 Seconds of Summer was the angst-driven passion project of four teenage boys in Sydney, Australia.

Guitarists Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin had all been students of the pop punk genre prior to coming together in 2011 – they’d learned about ditching their hometown and the uncertainty of love from Mayday Parade; discovered the art of striking a balance between humor and depth from  Blink-182 , and Green Day gave them a crash course in rebellion. These influences – merged with each member’s own individual creativity – created the distinctive 5SOS sound.

5 Seconds of Summer’s propensity for staying in sync as the project of four musicians with distinct influences and skills is what has allowed them to consistently reconstruct their sound across their four albums. Learning from their work, rather than being anchored by it, Clifford, Hood, Hemmings, and Irwin are on pace for continued evolution.

5 Seconds of Summer shared the news on Thursday (April 6) that they’re hitting the road for a world tour this summer and releasing a new live album, too.

Tickets for The 5 Seconds of Summer Show go on sale to the general public on April 14 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster , with a presale for Citi cardmembers beginning a few days earlier on April 11.

The same day tickets go on sale, 5 Seconds of Summer are also unveiling The Feeling of Falling Upwards — Live from The Royal Albert Hall . The live album was recorded during the band’s 2022 one-night-only performance at the iconic U.K. venue, and includes live versions of everything from “Youngblood” and “Teeth” to “Complete Mess,” “Take My Hand” and “Me Myself & I” accompanied by a 12-member gospel choir and 12-piece string orchestra.

While it hits streaming services on April 14, The Feeling of Falling Upwards will also receive a physical release a few months later on July 14.

5 Seconds of Summer are looking to take over the world once more with the announcement that they’ll be taking The 5 Seconds of Summer Show worldwide in the form of a 42-date world tour.

Kicking things off on the North American side in Uncasville, CT, at the Mohegan Sun Arena on August 10, the pop-rock group will wrap up their tour with appearances at the When We Were Young Festival while in between making stops throughout Europe and the UK.

Tickets for The 5 Seconds of Summer Show will go onsale through a presale on Tuesday, April 11, with the general onsale for the North America and Europe dates starting Friday, April 14 at 10 AM local time. For South American fans, stay tuned for more information.

The 5 Seconds of Summer Show , the tenth anniversary celebration that the pop-rock band hosted at the close of 2021, was part career-spanning concert film and part Saturday Night Live skit poking fun at their decade-long evolution. It featured a recreation of the video for one of their earliest releases — 2012’s “Gotta Get Out” — alongside their biggest hits, like “Youngblood” and “She Looks So Perfect,” and a funeral for their faded black skinny jeans. But the one thing that has never changed about 5SOS is their commitment to delivering an unrelenting live show. And this summer, they’re bringing The 5 Seconds of Summer Show on the road.

General sale for the 20-date tour begins Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. local time via the official 5SOS website .

Alongside the tour announcement , the band has unveiled plans to release The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall on April 14. The live album was recorded alongside a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir during a special one-night-only concert last year. The performance followed the release of the band’s fifth studio album in twice as many years, 5SOS5 . The band loaded up the setlist for the night with musical indicators of where they are, where they’ve been, and where they’re heading.

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER Announces Dates For ‘2023 World Tour – The 5 Seconds of Summer Show’

Multi-platinum-selling pop-rock band, 5 Seconds of Summer , will release their live album The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall digitally on April 14 . Physical formats of the album are up for pre-order NOW and will be available on July 14 .

The band is also excited to announce their 2023 World Tour – The 5 Seconds of Summer Show – which includes dates in South America, UK, Europe and North America with an appearance at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. The tracks are taken from the band’s 2022 one-of-a-kind performance “The Feeling of Falling Upwards” at the world-famous Royal Albert Hall in London, a venue the band busked outside of when they moved to the UK to write for their very first album 10 years ago. The performance included reimagined versions of songs from their 11-year catalog including brand-new songs from their critically acclaimed fifth studio album 5SOS5 , accompanied by a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir.

5 Seconds of Summer have embarked on their headlining world tour in support of their fourth studio album Calm . The band 's first show of 2022 took place prior to the Dublin kickoff- at PRYZM, Kingston upon Thames in England on April 1. The intimate gig was a previously rescheduled date. The 15-song setlist included live debuts of the newly release "Take My Hand," as well as "COMPLETE MESS," and "2011" (from 2011 ). See the England date's setlist here .

5 Seconds of Summer's first official date of their 64-date tour began on April 3 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The world tour is set to run through December 10 at its wrap in Sydney, Australia. Let's dive in to the songs that fans may expect to hear live on the trek.

The group's 26-song setlist included live debuts of "Red Desert," "Wildflower," "Best Years," and "Old Me." 5SOS included the collaboration they made with The Chainsmokers, "Who Do You Love." 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Final: Oilers force Game 7 after 5-1 defeat of Panthers

Game 7 will take place in florida monday night.

The Edmonton Oilers are just the third team, and the first since 1945, to force a Game 7 after falling behind 3-0 in the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers staved off elimination once again with a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers, and so there will be one more game in the 2023-24 NHL season.

With a frenzied Rogers Place crowd behind them, the Oilers came out with their hair on fire in Game 6 Friday night. Warren Foegele gave Edmonton a 1-0 lead at 7:27 of the first period, and the Oilers never allowed the Panthers to seize control of the momentum after that.

After recording four points in back-to-back games, Oilers captain Connor McDavid was held off the scoresheet in this one, and he didn't even register a shot on goal. That didn't matter, however, because other key players stepped up offensively.

Foegele's first-period tally was the result of absolutely filthy stickhandling and passing from Leon Draisaitl. Just 46 seconds into the second period, Adam Henrique came up huge with his fourth goal of the playoffs on an odd-man rush.

The real dagger came from an exemplary play by the duo of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman. With 1:40 left in the second period, Nugent-Hopkins stood in front of a Gustav Forsling point shot, and the rebound skittered out to the neutral zone. Hyman got on his horse and chased down the loose puck, and he was rewarded with a breakaway.

Hyman, the leading playoff goal-scorer, potted his 16th of the postseason with a smooth backhand finish that gave the Oilers a 3-0 lead heading into the third period.

Well before Hyman's goal, and just 10 seconds after Henrique made it a 2-0 game, there was a major turning point in the game and series. Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov appeared to hammer home a rebound to cut Edmonton's lead to 2-1, but that goal didn't stand.

The Oilers challenged for offside, and officials overturned the goal because Sam Reinhart was offside by a fraction of an inch. Had the call gone the other way, it would have been a one-goal game, and the Panthers would have gotten a power play.

Having said that, there's no guarantee that Florida would have taken advantage of that situation. The Panthers went 0 for 3 on the man advantage, and they are now just 1 of 19 in the entire series. To make matters worse, the Florida power play has actually has a net goal differential of -1.

Barkov did wind up scoring a goal that counted in the third period, but it was too little too late, and he didn't have enough help around him. The Panthers will now limp back to Sunrise, Florida, to face what would be perhaps the biggest collapse in NHL history.

Only two teams have every come back from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup Final to force a Game 7. The 1945 Detroit Red Wings were the last team to do so, but they dropped Game 7 to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The only team to complete a "reverse sweep" in the Final were the 1942 Maple Leafs after they came back from 3-0 down against those very same Red Wings.

If the Oilers do make history and finish their comeback, it would also end a couple of lengthy Cup droughts. Edmonton hasn't won lifted Lord Stanley since 1990, and no Canadian team has won it all in 31 years .

Game 7 will be on Monday night at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. Buckle up, everybody.

Final: Oilers 5, Panthers 1

The Oilers have become just the third team in NHL history to force a Game 7 after falling behind 3-0 in the Stanley Cup Final. They came out and completely dominated the Panthers from start to finish with a raucous Rogers Place behind them. Connor McDavid didn't even record a point, but it didn't matter. Edmonton got a complete team effort as it completely stifled Florida for the third straight game. At this point, the Panthers are staring down the barrel of a historic collapse because the Oilers have all the momentum now.
