My YouTube hasn’t worked for roughly 2 months now. Ive been to maybe 50 different websites looking for solutions to the problem and they all pretty much say the same solution that was given here. If anyone knows any new solutions I would appreciate it i’ve tried everything including clearing cache, restarting safari, removing ad blockers, etc. I basically erased all of safari’s information and restarted it from scratch and it still didn’t work. If I didn’t have extremely important files on my computer I would simply factory reset my computer at this point due to my irritation and inability to find a solution. Don’t even care about my YouTube addiction anymore at this point I just need it to watch lectures for school lol.

Safari can't play youtube videos in Monterey

Ever since upgrading to Monterey, I can't play YouTube videos in Safari. I get a message, "An error occurred. Please try again later."

I have no problem at all playing YouTube videos in Firefox, so the problem is definitely Safari-specific. I am having no problems with other web sites in Safari, including watching videos on a site like CNN, so the problem is both Safari and YouTube-specific.

I have tried the following:

1) Under the Develop menu, selected "Empty Caches"

2) Cleared "Cookies, databases, local storage, HSTS Policy, and HTTP Alternative Services" using "Manage Website Data" in the "Privacy" tab in Safari's "Preferences."

3) Quit and restarted Safari

4) Rebooted my computer

5) In "Settings for youtube.com..." I have disabled content blockers and enabled auto-play.

I have done all of the above multiple times in multiple orders. Also, I have upgraded to Monterey 12.1, which I had hoped would contain a fixed Safari, but the problem remains.

Teams will not load on my Safari on my Mac

I got a link to a microsoft teams meeting and every time i tried to get in the meeting, it took a long while to load and once it load it would say to change my browser settings to allow third parties

Mallory Quah Major: Nutrition Science, College of Applied Health Sciences

Mags Goodship Major: Public Health, School of Public Health

The $2,500 award supports UIC undergraduate students with apparent or non-apparent disabilities and honors the memory of Alejandro Castro, a respected, long-time employee of the UIC Library. Alejandro was an engaged staff member who worked to break down barriers to inclusion and increase accessibility on campus, serving on many Library task forces and on the Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities. The award can be used for school or living expenses is intended to foster student success and degree completion.
