Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: arrival bali – candle light dinner.

The first day is the traveling day of the tour. Board from any metro city, Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore and land to the beautiful Bali Island. The main, southbound Bali and Singapore cruise from Singapore to Bali, Indonesia, begins with an overnight in Singapore, then embarks and cruises along remote Indonesian islands before disembarking in Bali, Indonesia.

Cosmopolitan Singapore, a former British colony, has transformed itself into one of the world’s leading and most innovative commercial centers. Also see the ultra-modern along the skyline of high rises and in the whimsical creations of the Gardens by the Bay. Singapore is truly a melting pot of culture, style and cuisine. The first stop is in the remote Anambas Archipelago, to snorkel the unspoiled reefs surrounding Pulau Lintang. Search for colorful giant clams and cardinalfish that make these waters their home. The island is private, so enjoy exclusive access to walk the beach, dive, snorkel, or choose to explore by glass-bottom Zodiac.

The rarely visited and remote Badas Islands offer excellent beaches, vibrant corals and an abundant array of marine life. Watch for clownfish darting between anemones and, if luck is on your side, a beautiful royal blue tang might make this idyllic story complete. Explore above and beneath the sea via stand-up paddleboard, snorkeling and beachcombing.

Located off the coast of Sumatra, Belitung is part of the relatively unknown Bangka-Belitung sister islands. Spend the morning cruising the pristine waters, the ship weaving her way through the smaller islands and clusters of granite formations that dot the coastline, looking for the perfect quiet cove to stop in for kayaking and snorkeling. Ashore have the opportunity to meet the locals and witness the blending of the Sumatran, Malay and Bugis cultures—Malay homes on stilts; Bugis fishing villages; Sumatran coffee houses, popular gathering spots for all. The Dutch tin mines and the promise of work brought many families to Belitung—the mines may be gone, but the joining together of traditions remain.

One of the world’s most beautiful and powerful volcanoes, Krakatoa or Krakatau, was known worldwide after the explosive eruption in 1883. Ash from the massive event circled the earth for years. Along the Pacific Ring of Fire, new volcanoes have formed beneath Krakatoa’s caldera–Anak Krakatau, or “Child of Krakatau,” is the most active. Go ashore to explore the black sand beach and lush jungle that rises up to the volcano. Cruise to Legon Cabe, Big Krakatau, and snorkel in the dazzling reefs that surround the island.

Your visit to Cirebon, on the coast of Java, will take you back in time to the 16th century. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this massive complex sits perched on a hill, with bell-shaped stupas housing statues of Buddha seeming to rise from the jungle around it. Stone reliefs carved in exquisite detail line the base of the temple, depicting everyday life and the path to enlightenment. Spend the full day exploring this spectacular site.

A breathtaking chain of coral fringed islands, Kerimun Jawa Archipelago sits off the coast of central Java. Designated a Natural Reserve, the marine park protects the biodiversity of the lush mangrove forests teeming with birdlife, 11 species of sea grass, and extensive coral reefs, home to over 400 species of fish. Observe life in the mangroves while trekking deep into the forest on raised footpaths, ever watchful for black-tailed monkeys and red breasted parakeets. Kayak along the sea grass in water so clear it’s easy to see the fish and coral below.

Bordered by beautiful white sand beaches in the south and rocky cliffs in the north, Madura Island is a remote gem in the Strait of Madura. Not far from Surabaya, it feels like a different world, rural and steeped in a culture of fierce yet open-hearted sailors. Visit Sumenep, a region rich in history and culture. Spend time exploring the Royal Palace and learning about the heritage of these proud people through dance performances and museum exhibits.

Teeming with untouched beauty both above and below the water, explore the island on foot, keeping an eye out for deer while wandering through the ancient white stone temple – Pura Segara Gili Kencana; snorkel amongst the brightly colored coral fans; or glide through the clear water on a stand-up paddleboard.

Arrival & Departure

The main, southbound Bali and Singapore cruise begins in Singapore (SIN), and ends in Denpasar, Bali (DPS). We highly recommend arriving one day prior to your trip start date in case of any flight delay, cancellation or lost luggage issues. Plan flights to arrive to Singapore by 4:00pm on Day 1 of the itinerary. Disembarkation is after breakfast on Day 12 of the outlined itinerary. Whether you are looking for light activity options or more challenging outdoor pursuits, the ship’s crew can tailor most any expedition to suit your skill level. Are you looking for the best way to get from Singapore to Bali? Keeping reading for the different routes you can take.

It can be a bit confusing trying to get from Singapore to Bali (or vice versa). There’s not a direct flight or ferry that gets you straight to your hotel room, but I’m going to give you a run-down of the different ways you can get from Singapore to Bali. Don’t fret – it’s not as complex as it might seem!

I must admit though, it’s a good shout to plan out your journey beforehand to avoid any travel blunders. I’d say that there’s three main ways to get yourself from Singapore to Bali, so let’s jump straight in.

Flying from Singapore to Bali

The first, and probably easiest method on my list of different ways to get from Singapore to Bali is to fly. You can fly into Bali Denpasar International Airport from Singapore’s Changi Airport quite easily, and the flight is a relatively short one, the average journey taking 2 hours and 45 minutes.

With numerous airlines offering flights into Bali, you’ll easily be able to source a flight that works for you and your budget / schedule. The top carriers tend to be Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Garuda Indonesia. However, due to the popularity of the route, it’s worth shopping around, as there are numerous other airlines that service Singapore and Bali. I recommend looking at Skyscanne r before booking independently, as you might just be able to snag a deal. 

Top tip! Be patient when looking for flights. Most airlines that service Bali run regular flight sales, and if you’ve got the time, you might be able to go for next to nothing! You can visit a travel agent to book your flights or visit the airline’s website for a seamless online experience. Book away!

Take the Ferry

Another option is to take a series of ferries from Singapore to Bali. I must admit though, the flight option is at the top of my list for a reason – simply because it’s much quicker and easier

If time is on your side though (or maybe if you don’t love flying) then taking the ferry from Singapore to Bali is a good choice, as it’s less pricey and does get you there. It’s a bit complex though, so bear with me.

First of all, always check the schedules first for the Singapore to Bali ferry. A good source is PELNI’s official website , which allows you to reserve tickets and check live departure times. Make sure you translate the webpage or ask for help if you don’t speak Bahasa though!

• To start with, you’ll need to get a ferry from Singapore to Batam, this should be relatively easy to plan. The ferry is quick and takes only 45 minutes from Batam to Singapore’s World Trade Centre Ferry Terminal.
• Next up, you’ll go from Batam to Jakarta (which is where the PELNI planning will come in handy)
• From Jakarta you’ll need to get the ‘Dora Londa Ferry’ to Surabaya (the nearest port to Bali)
• From Surbaya’s port, the best way to get across to Bali is by an inter-state bus, which will take you across the sea to Bali via Ferry (it’s only a small crossing) and into Bali.

As Indonesia is considerably larger than Singapore, the travel time is a bit brutal. But, if you’re pinching pennies and doing your trip on a budget, this is a great option. Hey, it means you get to see a lot of Indonesia in transit!

A bit of both

Another options for you when travelling from Singapore to Bali is to choose a route with a little bit of both. This options is a good idea if you fancy extending your travels a bit and don’t mind a bit of exploration in-between locations.

Your first step using this method would be to take a ferry from Singapore to Jakarta (like above) and then to take a plane from Jakarta to Bali (which would be an internal flight).

To summarise!

Travelling from Singapore to Bali is surprisingly not as simple as it seems. Although it’s not the easiest journey in the world, it can be done, and it’s certainly worth it! Obviously, taking the plane is the easiest way – but if you’ve got the time, taking the ferry can be a fun alternative!

If you own a credit card, you’re entitled to dining, travel, and other lifestyle offers you may not even know about. Each bank has their own privilege programme or deals catalogue that makes claiming a deal as easy as applying a promo code or claiming a voucher on your banking app. 

These differ from rewards programmes that let you redeem gifts using points accumulated from your credit card spending—for example, redeeming a $5 NTUC voucher with 100 points. Here, we’re talking about catalogues of deals and promotions that you have the privilege of accessing simply because you have a credit card with that bank—for example, showing your credit card at a restaurant to enjoy a 1-for-1 offer on all main courses.

UOB: UOB Rewards+

UOB Rewards+ is the UOB rewards programme that all UOB Cardmembers are entitled to. It also claims to be the largest rewards catalogue in Singapore. So if you have a UOB card, make sure you download the UOB TMRW app to browse all deals. You can also view dining deals at The Dining Advisor .

Standard Chartered: The Good Life

The Good Life Privileges is a deals and rewards programme open to anyone with a Standard Chartered credit or debit card (or both).

Citibank: Citi World Privileges

Citi World Privileges is full of deals for not just the rest of the world while you’re on holiday, but when you’re back home in Singapore too.

DBS Privileges and Offers

DBS may not have a fancy schmancy name for their credit card offers programme , but they’ve still got a ton of good deals you should check out.

American Express: Love Dining and Chillax

Amex Platinum cards aren’t the most accessible, but give you access to tons of dining deals and privileges. Check out their Love Dining deals for offers at restaurants and hotels, and their Chillax programme 1-for-1 drink offers and welcome cocktails at bars around the island.

HSBC Credit Card Promotions and Deals

Like DBS, HSBC doesn’t have a dedicated name for their HSBC credit card promotions programme. An HSBC credit card also gives you access to standard offers on The Entertainer with HSBC , although only selected cards give you premium offers.

OCBC Credit Card Promotions

Another nameless programme, OCBC’s credit card promotions and deals span across food, fashion, health and many other categories.

Maybank Credit Card Promotions

The Maybank credit card promotions are all listed online, but don’t forget to change the filter to see the promotions you want. Categories include: dining, beauty, travel, wellness, shopping, and more. There doesn’t seem to be a way to see all categories at once.

CIMB Credit Card Promotions

Check out CIMB’s credit card deals across categories like dining, travel and lifestyle, e-commerce, and beauty and wellness. You can also select “near me” to see deals based on your location.
