Ramai dikalangan kita pernah tahu dan pernah dengar mengenai batu tersebut asalnya putih tetapi persoalanya dari mana berita ini datang. Maka pada hari ini saya kongsikan secara ringkas sebuah hadith daripada Jami’ At-Tarmizi halaman 877 mengenai Hajr Aswad :-

عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ نَزَلَ الْحَجَرُ الأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَهُوَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ فَسَوَّدَتْهُ خَطَايَا بَنِي آدَمَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Maksudnya : “Hajr al-Aswad turun daripada Syurga, dan ia lebih putih daripada susu, maka ia menjadi hitam oleh kerana dosa-dosa anak-anak Adam”.

Ini lah rupa hadith yang berkait dengan Hajr Aswad. Sememangnya ia putih dan menjadi hitam oleh kerana dosa-dosa.Selain itu ada hadith lain yang dikatakan batu ini berasal daripada permata-permata syurga.

Ada Sebuah hadis lain berbunyi “Hajar Al-Aswad ialah seketul batu daripada batu-batu syurga, kalaulah tidak kerana kesan daripada dosa-dosa si pendosa yang menyentuhnya, maka sudah pasti orang buta, sopak atau pesakit yang menderita apa-apa penyakit yang menyentuhnya akan sembuh”. [Syaikh Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhalawi, Fadhilat Haji Umrah dan Ziyarah, ms-112]

Kesan daripada sentuhan tangan-tangan kita semua yang penuh dosa menjadikan hitamnya batu tersebut. Maka kat sini ada satu pengajaran yang penting, jika dengan sentuhan tu sahaja cukup menghitamkan batu yang asalnya putih, apatah lagi keadaanya dengan hati –hati yang sentiasa bergelumang dengan dosa. Maka sentiasa lah kita bersama-sama beristifar mudah-mudahan dapat mengikis sedikit sebanyak titik hitam yang ada pada hati kita.

pada batu ini juga diceritakan kelebihanya sehingga mampu menyembuh segala penyakit jika tiada dosa yang melekat pada batu tersebut. Namun begitu, tidak lah sampai menyembah dan mengagungkan batu ini. Kita kucupkan batu ini hanya lah untuk mengikuti jejak langkah Nabi kita.

Wallahu ‘alam. Semoga catatan ringkas ini dapat memberi manfaat ilmu serta membuka sedikit sebanyak mata kita semua erti sebenar menunaikan ibadat Haji dan Umrah ini.
