 DAY 1 - CAIRO Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met by a Ya'lla Tours representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight. DAY 2 – CAIRO - SAKKARA - GIZA Breakfast in the hotel. Full day visit to Dahshour Pyramid (Built by Snefru, father of Cheops, Many scholars consider it more Glorious than the Great Pyramid) Visit to Sakkara the Step Pyramid, built by the great architect Imhotep. Lunch . Visit the Giza plateau, the 3 Pyramids, the Valley Temple, and the Sphinx . Visit a papyrus institute. Return to the hotel for overnight. DAY 3 – CAIRO Breakfast in the hotel. Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities The Citadel of Salah Din, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Lunch. Visit Old Cairo with the suspended Church, other historical churches, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and more. After a day of touring, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight from Cairo to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met our representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight. DAY 4 – DAY 04 - NILE CRUISE (Luxor) Y Breakfast in the hotel and Check-out. You will visit Karnak Temple , called by some “the Temple of Temples.”  Then visit the graceful Temple of Luxor built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Will continue to your Nile cruise, check-in and lunch on board. Free time to rest and enjoy your time on board. Dinner and overnight on board. 

DAY 05 - NILE CRUISE (Luxor/ Edfu)

Breakfast onboard, cross to the West Bank of the Nile. Visit the Valley of the Kings . Next will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut . On the way back to your Nile cruise, stop at the famous Colossi of Memnon . Return to your cruise and set sail for Edfu. The afternoon is at leisure. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight on board. 

DAY 06 - NILE CRUISE (Edfu/ Komombo)

 Breakfast on board, set out by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus , the most perfectly preserved of all the Nile Temples. Return to your cruise vessel by carriage and sail to KomOmbo. Visit the Temple of Sobek . Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 07 - NILE CRUISE (Aswan)

Breakfast on board; take a tour of Aswan High Dam . Continue by a short motor-boat ride to the Temple of Philae on the island of Agilka. After lunch on your cruise, sail around Elephantine Island on a felucca . Return to your Cruise for farewell dinner on board. Overnight on board in Aswan.

DAY 08 - CAIRO

After breakfast you will be transferred to Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Visit the great temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. The entire complex of temples was moved to its present location 90 feet above its old site to protect it from the rising water of the Nile when the Aswan Dam was built in the early sixties. Fly back to Aswan and connect to Cairo.

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a special farewell dinner. Back to your hotel for overnight.

Early breakfast and transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Our representative will assist you during check-out and through passport control and customs in the airport.

• Most airlines allow 1 checked bag, maximum of 50 lbs.  However, the rule can vary from carrier to carrier. Please check with  each airline in your itinerary for their policy.

• Egypt Air allows 20 kilos of luggage at no charge on the domestic flights.
•  Luggage allowance, one 25 inch (total 62 linear inches) checked bag  and one small carryon per person for transfers and tours. 
• You must have a valid U.S. passport. (Must have at least 6 months  of validity past your scheduled return date).
•  Ya'lla Tour reserves the right to change the hotels to others of similar  quality.

After a less than stellar 5* tour to Egypt, I wrote to the owner of the tour company out of courtesy to let him know the things I was disappointed in and that I would be posting somewhat negative reviews. What I got back was a defensive diatribe about his tour and his people and the following threat: “As your treats to post negative comments, I’m not threatened. You have no idea who I‘m and you have no idea about the arsenal I have in order to handle negative and not justified comments. I guess that if you chose to file something, you will find out.” The interesting thing is that I didn’t ask for anything from him and was just giving feedback. I would avoid this company because the owner is truly unfriendly and not good to work with.

Magical Israel Tour

I am on a plane on my way home from Magical Israel Tour, I was shocked to learn that Y’Alla Tours gave my tour to a Consolidated Tour Company without telling me. The van that I was picked up in was old and the driver was my guide. I should have had a nice comfortable van with a driver and guide. We were unable to go to Carmel Market because driver/guide could not find a parking spot. That should never have been for the amount of money we paid. Our driver from Eilat to the airport had my husband sitting in front with someone else’s luggage on his lap. Tzefat our driver/guide would not let us spend extra time because it was Shabbos, The kibbutz supposedly was to have activities. They had nothing it was boring, The sightseeing was great.

Abominable trip service.

Abominable trip service. VERIFY how trip problems will be addressed in advance. Insurance only compensates direct cost, not trip loss of days or stress. 3 days of a 10 day trip were lost due to incorrect airline ticketing. There is no 24/7 support line. No assistance was offered trying to get hotels/shuttles on a stranded in Washington, DC World Series weekend, for a 15 person group separated from a main group of another 22 already in Israel. The remaining 7 days of the trip included a superb guide and bus driver, but the trip was already ruined. To date, no refund has been offered. Hopefully this is a one off for other potential users.

We do sympathize with the terrible frustrations that began your trip. The late departure of your United Airlines flight out of St. Louis, causing your missed connection to Turkish Airlines at Dulles Airport set up a cascade of effects for which there was no easy solution. Our entire air department worked to get you and your stranded travel companions on another flight to Israel. As you know, flights were booked solid for days. We felt lucky to get you on the United flight leaving 2 days after your original flight. There’s no compensating for stress or time lost, but for those who purchased it, our travel insurance will cover expenses due to trip delay and missed touring in Israel.

If I could give them less than one…

If I could give them less than one star, I would. THEY cancelled our trip, after postponing it for 2 years due to Covid. They won't issue a refund at all. A co-traveler gave them not only the deposit but an additional amount - $5500! - over and above the deposit - they won't give that back either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their customer service was horrible

Their customer service was horrible. I booked a second trip with them because my first experience was great. However, Teri's response to our trip cancellation due to the pandemic has been unprofessional and atrocious. They are refusing to refund our money despite the fact that we can not enter the countries planned on our trip. I will never use them again.

As you know, our policy for Coronavirus cancellations is to offer full credit to be applied to a future trip. This is standard among tour operators and has been a welcome solution for most of our clients.

A great trip to Israel

We were overall very happy with our tour of Israel. Our guide did an outstanding job of guiding a very diverse group (multiple countries, ages, and faith) of people through an incredibly complex country. We were very happy with the wide range of experiences that we were able to see in Israel. The hotels, transportation arrangements and other logistics worked very well. We are very glad we made the journey!

Ya'lla did not execute well

We just finished a Ya'lla tour of Israel and we do not recommend using Ya'lla. The local Israeli tour operator that Ya'lla used had a different itinerary than what Ya'lla had given us. Ya'lla management was dismissive of our valid concerns about the differences and the confusion it caused to several couples on the tour. The tour had some stops that were inaccurately described and ended up being a waste of time. For example, visits to a "winery" and an "olive oil factory" ended up being stops to small retail stores so the operators could sell their merchandise. We really did not learn anything about Israel's olive oil or wine industries or production. The tour guide did not keep us on track each day; we consistently ran behind so that we got to our hotels later than expected, which impacted the time we could spend exploring cities in the evenings. We ended up with a different tour guide and driver in the middle of the tour, which broke the rhythm of the tour. Israel is a great place to explore and we recommend you do it with a better operator.

Morocco Adventure:

Morocco Adventure: It was truly an adventure, tour guide very considerate, professional, helpful and friendly. Most of the hotels were fine. The tent was truly and adventure not to be miss. Marrakesh hotel shower did not work had to used a cup to shower, even after we told them it was not fixed. Transportation: clean, seating configuration was not to everyone liking, but it was changed and everyone was happier with it. Overall it's a trip that I will definitely organize for my clients. Thank you!!!

Had a perfect time touring around Morocco with Ya’lla Tours. The booked accommodations were perfect and comfortable. The guides and drivers were very friendly and engaging. Of special note, I would like to extend very warm, truly heartfelt, and deepest gratitude to our driver, Mohammed Alaoui. Words cannot express just how indebted I am to this man for making a special trip even more special. He has helped to make very real a longtime wish of mine to visit Morocco on a personal level. Ya'lla organization was good and the…

Ya'lla organization was good and the tour was user-friendly. The itinerary was solid and the tour flowed nicely. Iacov, our Israeli tour guide, added a lot to the enjoyable experience. The hotels were all good and the food was abundant (though not great). The weather went from the mid-80s F. at the Dead Sea to very cold and rainy (mid-40s F.) at Jerusalem and Bethlehem. A number of our people returned home sick (including myself). I would not go to Israel again in the month of March. When combining the general fatigue with a huge temperature drop, it was a set up for sickness. The direct flight from S.F. to Tel Aviv is great.

The thing we hadn't thought about…

The thing we hadn't thought about beforehand was the physical abilities of our fellow travelers on the tour. We would have preferred more walking and climbing to ruins, etc. but had to stick with the group. I guess I just assumed since there is so much walking on a tour to Israel everyone would be in decent shape.

A sense of community and shared experience is important to some travelers, especially with faith-based touring, and compared to private touring, the cost savings is significant. Outstandingly planned itinerary. Our Guide and Driver are best in their field. Jacob, our guide, had encyclopedic knowledge of history and geography of the Holy Land. Nisan, our driver, could expertly maneuver our hulking big bus forward, backward, uphill and downhill! And he kept the bus clean every day. Meals were good except that the venues were often very crowded. A couple hotels were old with sagging mattresses and staff who simply were unresponsive to requests from guests. On the whole an excellent trip. Yalla is a great choice for travel to Israel.

The tour in Egypt was a dream come…

The tour in Egypt was a dream come through. We had an amazing experience. We were met on time by our egyptologist guides, transfer guides and drivers except on one occasion. I recommend to carry a smartphone to contact Ya'lla office in Egypt in case of emergency (very useful). The itinerary was respected, few optional additions offered (all worthed). Shoppings stops, as expected, but good produces offerings, no pressure to buy. The tipping guide was helpful. Wished the Egyptians were taking Canadians dollars. I would skip the farewell lunch at the end.

Bad hotel, good hotel

Guide, greeter, and drivers we’re knowledgeable and friendly. The royal Olympian hotel in Athens was overcrowded with tours with a half hour wait for breakfast. The service was not good. The hotel in Santorini the Mystique was perfect and the staff was excellent

I traveled with Ya'lla Tours for 8 days…

I traveled with Ya'lla Tours for 8 days in Israel. The experience was wonderful, the tour guide and accomodations of hotels, kibbutzim all were splendid. Our tour guide was sensitive to both Jewish and Christian members of our group and she went beyond the normal to help arrange special activities--very personal touch. I wish there was a way to review…It was a $2000 a day absolute ripoff.

I wish there was a way to review without even giving one star. One out of three hotels could possibly be better than third rate. The three or four star ratings For these hotels were as false is the claim of a swimming pool at the hotel on our last stay. We paid over $24,000 for a 12 night tour of Greece. It was a $2000 a day absolute ripoff.

All the hotels you stayed in are officially rated 5-star by the Greek National Tourism Organization (Royal Olympic, Athens; Amphitryon, Nafplio; Mystique, Santorini; Sofitel, Athens). Our own, more critical assessments rank them at 4 or 4.5-star, as you saw in our descriptions. Tens of thousands of online reviews rank them all at least 4-star. Regardless of star-rating, we want our travelers to be comfortable and satisfied, at minimum. Your travel documents included contact numbers for our representatives in Greece and a request that any complaint be reported immediately so that we can deal with it on the spot. We did not have the opportunity to address your complaints as they came only after your return. Amphityron does not have a pool on site but guests have access to the pool at the Nafplio Palace hotel nearby. Our description did not make this clear and has been changed.

Was a great adventure

Was a great adventure, will definitely recommend to friends and family. The tour guides were very friendly and informative, enjoyed the fact that it was a small group with only 2 of us and guide. Accommodations were nice, it was a little cold in the hotels as there was no heat, but the hotels did provide extra blankets. The tour guide in Cairo was excellent, the guide in Luxor (and the cruise ship) was also good. The tour guide in Abu Simbel was not very good. The Egyptian people are very kind and I enjoyed visiting Egypt. The itinerary was excellent and covered all the highlights.

An amazing experience of the world's…

An amazing experience of the world's longest living history! Our guide was excellent in bringing each of the site's to life for us. Our only problem was our lost luggage by Turkish Airlines on the front end of the trip, but due to the diligence of the Cairo coordinator, it was recovered before our Nile boat trip. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you.
