LA is your starting point but Hollywood is for another day. San Diego, Palm Springs, Las Vegas and California’s stunning National Parks, Yosemite included, come early on your dream holiday. You then head to San Francisco, the Golden Gate, Alcatraz and Napa Valley’s wonderful wines. Travel south through San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente to San Diego, the second largest city in California, renowned for its yearround mild weather. Following a city tour, visit picturesque Seaport Village and San Diego's relaxing bayfront marketplace. Perhaps enjoy the opportunity for shopping. Return to Los Angeles for the evening.

Day 3: Los Angeles - Palm Springs - Phoenix / Scottsdale

Today your journey takes you through Palm Springs, the winter playground for Hollywood royalty, with its lively downtown and immaculately kept golf courses at the base of the rugged San Jacinto Mountains. A sea of wind turbines mark the entrance to this desert oasis. Afterwards you will pass through Indio, home to the Int'l Date Festival in the Coachella Valley.

Day 4: Phoenix/Scottsdale - Sedona - Grand Canyon

Travel through the Sonoran Desert, the richest, most biologically diverse desert ecosystem in the Americas. Continue to Sedona, a city situated in a unique geological area and encircled by distinctive red-rock monoliths with such names as Cathedral and Coffee Pot. Then drive through the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon before arriving at Grand Canyon National Park. Majestic Grand Canyon National Park is one of the 7 great natural wonders of the world. Stop at the rim to fully experience this mile-deep colorful canyon's plunging gorges, and rising spires formed by the mighty Colorado River.

Day 5: Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Lake Powell/Page

As you journey further today, you will enter the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the trading post of Cameron. Continue through the Painted Desert and the region of Monument Valley, an area that embodies perhaps the most iconic images of the American West. In the afternoon, enter the town of Page, situated on a mesa above the Colorado River. Evening at leisure.

Day 6: Page/Lake Powell - Kanab - Bryce Canyon

Visit the mighty Glen Canyon Dam, the second highest concrete-arch dam in America. From here you'll enjoy views of stunning Lake Powell, where crystal blue water laps against towering red-rock canyon walls. Enter Utah, known for the Mormon Community, pass through the town of Kanab before visiting spectacular Bryce Canyon, where a tour through a multi-colored world of sandstone spires and pinnacles will dazzle the eye. This evening, weather permitting, be sure to gaze upon the spectacular night sky filled with sparkling stars and brilliant constellations.

Day 7: Bryce Canyon - Zion - Las Vegas

Travel today to Zion National Park and see the massive rock formations carved by wind, time, and the Virgin River. This afternoon experience the contrast of Las Vegas, the dazzling "Entertainment Capital of the World," where round-the-clock shopping, nightly shows, and of course gambling are available. As we stop at the iconic Las Vegas Welcome sign, you may wish to capture a photo memory there.

Day 8: Las Vegas

Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the many attractions that Las Vegas has to offer. In addition to world-class shopping, bustling casinos, and Broadway-caliber shows, you might simply stroll the famous Strip to take in its amazing sights, or "shop 'til you drop" at designer outlets.

Day 9: Las Vegas - Death Valley - Mammoth Lakes

Having enjoyed glamorous Las Vegas, it will be a sharp contrast this afternoon to enter the quiet and extreme environment of Death Valley. Stop at Zabriskie Point and Furnace Creek Ranch/ Visitors Center before continuing across the valley and ascending the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort town of Mammoth Lakes. The area gained prominence as a gold mining town in the 19th century and today is renown for the superior skiing terrain and staggeringly beautiful mountain vistas.

Day 10: Mammoth Lakes - Yosemite National Park - Sacramento

Your journey today brings you to the Tioga Pass into the scenic wonderland of Yosemite National Park. Here, you will experience the valley floor and its splendors including the glacial-shaped granite formations of El Capitan, Half Dome, the magnificent Bridal Falls and Yosemite Falls. Overnight in nearby Sacramento.

Day 11: Sacramento - San Francisco

Depart early this morning to arrive in San Francisco, one of the most beloved cities in America. Enjoy a comprehensive sightseeing tour before arriving at your hotel. This evening take a memorable City by Night Tour (optional).

Day 12: San Francisco (Napa Valley Optional)

Day at leisure! Your ATI Tour Director is on hand to assist with making your plans for the day: perhaps a cable car ride to Fisherman's Wharf where you may enjoy a "Taste of San Francisco": local seafood, famous sourdough breads or decadent Ghiradelli's Chocolate. Or take a stroll by Sea Lions' Marina to watch them frolic. Be sure to gaze across the bay to Alcatraz island where "America's Most Wanted" such as Al Capone and "Machine Gun" Kelly were incarcerated. Or visit Union Square for a shopping stop at Macy's Department Store. Day 13: San Francisco - Carmel/Monterey - Central Coast

Depart San Francisco this morning for the drive to the Monterey Peninsula, known for its magnificent homes and lovely beaches. In Monterey, visit Fisherman's Wharf and famous Cannery Row. Then tour charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, noted for its quaint houses, upscale art galleries and unique stores. In the afternoon your tour continues through Paso Robles, home of fine wineries. Overnight in a quaint Central California Coast town.

Day 14: Central Coast - Santa Barbara - Santa Monica - Los Angeles

Journey south through the Santa Ynez valley into Santa Barbara where palm-lined walkways border white sandy beaches. Upon arrival in Los Angeles an orientation tour commences to include Hollywood, portions of Beverly Hills and Century City before arriving in Santa Monica, home to the finish line of Historic Route 66, where you may enjoy an optional lunch on the pier before arriving at your hotel.

Day 15: Los Angeles - Honolulu

Transfer independently to the airport in time for your flight to Honolulu. On arrival you will be met and receive the traditional flower lei greeting before transferring to your hotel for five nights of relaxation in beautiful Hawaii.

• Hotel services in the United States customarily do not include breakfast. If you do not wish to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant (where available), you may frequently find coffee shops and restaurants close by which serve good and inexpensive breakfasts. Some hotels do offer a continental breakfast. Usually, this continental breakfast is basic and contains coffee and pastries. Travel south through San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente to San Diego, the second largest city in California, renowned for its year-round mild weather. Following a city tour, visit picturesque Seaport Village and San Diego’s relaxing bayfront marketplace. Perhaps enjoy the opportunity for shopping. Return to Los Angeles for the evening.

DAY 3: LOS ANGELES > PALM SPRINGS > PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE

Today your journey takes you through Palm Springs, the winter playground for Hollywood royalty, with its lively downtown and immaculately kept golf courses at the base of the rugged San Jacinto Mountains. A sea of wind turbines mark the entrance to this desert oasis. Afterward, you will pass through Indio, home to the Int’l Date Festival in the Coachella Valley.

DAY 4: PHOENIX/SCOTTSDALE > SEDONA > GRAND CANYON

Travel through the Sonoran Desert, the richest, most biologically diverse desert ecosystem in the Americas. Continue to Sedona, a city situated in a unique geological area and encircled by distinctive red-rock monoliths with such names as Cathedral and Coffee Pot. Then drive through the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon before arriving at Grand Canyon National Park. Majestic Grand Canyon National Park is one of the 7 great natural wonders of the world. Stop at the rim to fully experience this mile-deep colorful canyon’s plunging gorges, and rising spires formed by the mighty Colorado River.

DAY 5: GRAND CANYON > MONUMENT VALLEY > PAGE/LAKE POWELL

As you journey further today, you will enter the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the trading post of Cameron. Continue through the Painted Desert and the region of Monument Valley, an area that embodies perhaps the most iconic images of the American West. In the afternoon, enter the town of Page, situated on a mesa above the Colorado River. Evening at leisure.

DAY 6: PAGE/LAKE POWELL > KANAB > BRYCE CANYON

Visit the mighty Glen Canyon Dam, the second-highest concrete-arch dam in America. From here you’ll enjoy views of stunning Lake Powell, where crystal blue water laps against towering red-rock canyon walls. Enter Utah, known for the Mormon Community, and pass through the town of Kanab before visiting spectacular Bryce Canyon, where a tour through a multi-colored world of sandstone spires and pinnacles will dazzle the eye. This evening, weather permitting, be sure to gaze upon the spectacular night sky filled with sparkling stars and brilliant constellations.

Travel today to Zion National Park and see the massive rock formations carved by wind, time, and the Virgin River. This afternoon experience the contrast of Las Vegas, the dazzling “Entertainment Capital of the World,” where round-the-clock shopping, nightly shows, and of course gambling are available. As we stop at the iconic Las Vegas Welcome sign, you may wish to capture a photo memory there.

DAY 8: LAS VEGAS

Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the many attractions that Las Vegas has to offer. In addition to world-class shopping, bustling casinos, and Broadway-caliber shows, you might simply stroll the famous Strip to take in its amazing sights, or “shop ‘til you drop” at designer outlets.

DAY 9: LAS VEGAS > DEATH VALLEY > MAMMOTH LAKES/FRESNO

Having enjoyed glamorous Las Vegas, it will be a sharp contrast this afternoon to enter the quiet and extreme environment of Death Valley. Stop at Zabriskie Point and Furnace Creek Ranch/ Visitors Center before continuing across the valley and ascending the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort town of Mammoth Lakes. The area gained prominence as a gold mining town in the 19th century and today is renowned for its superior skiing terrain and staggeringly beautiful mountain vistas.

Important: If the Tioga pass is closed, the routing will be done via Fresno.

Here, you will experience the valley floor and its splendors including the glacial-shaped granite formations of El Capitan, Half Dome, the magnificent Bridal Falls, and Yosemite Falls. Overnight in nearby Modesto.

Depart early this morning to arrive in San Francisco, one of the most beloved cities in America. Enjoy a comprehensive sightseeing tour before arriving at your hotel. This evening take a memorable City by Night Tour (optional).

DAY 12: SAN FRANCISCO (NAPA VALLEY OPTIONAL)

Day at leisure! Your Tour Director is on hand to assist with making your plans for the day: perhaps a cable car ride to Fisherman’s Wharf where you may enjoy a “Taste of San Francisco”: local seafood, famous sourdough bread, or decadent Ghiradelli’s Chocolate. Or take a stroll by Sea Lions’ Marina to watch them frolic. Be sure to gaze across the bay to Alcatraz island where “America’s Most Wanted” such as Al Capone and ”Machine Gun” Kelly were incarcerated. Or visit Union Square for a shopping stop at Macy’s Department Store. You also may choose to embark on a wine-tasting tour to Napa Valley, world-renowned for its fine wineries and beautiful scenery (optional).

DAY 13: SAN FRANCISCO > MONTEREY/CARMEL > CENTRAL COAST

Depart San Francisco this morning for the drive to the Monterey Peninsula, known for its magnificent homes and lovely beaches. In Monterey, visit Fisherman’s Wharf and the famous Cannery Row. Then tour charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, noted for its quaint houses, upscale art galleries, and unique stores. In the afternoon your tour continues through Paso Robles, home of fine wineries. Overnight in a quaint Central California Coast town.

DAY 14: CENTRAL COAST > SANTA BARBARA > SANTA MONICA > LOS ANGELES

Journey south through the Santa Ynez valley into Santa Barbara where palm-lined walkways border white sandy beaches. Transfer independently to the airport in time for your flight to Honolulu. On arrival, you will be met and receive the traditional flower lei greeting before transferring to your hotel for five nights of relaxation in beautiful Hawaii.

Visit the exclusive Kahala residential area where some of Hawaii’s most spectacular homes are to be found. Pass by Lolani Palace, the King Kamehameha Statue, and the Governor’s Mansion. Travel to the scenic North Shore to see the dramatic coastline and some of the most revered surfing beaches of the State. May we suggest dinner at the famous Duke’s restaurant (optional)?

DAY 18: HONOLULU, HAWAII

Today enjoy the day at leisure, exploring beautiful Honolulu and relaxing at the world-famous Waikiki Beach.

DAY 19: HONOLULU, HAWAII

Enjoy your last day in Honolulu at your leisure. Do some shopping for Hawaiian souvenirs, relax by the beach, or go surfing!

DAY 20: HAWAII > LOS ANGELES DEPARTURE

Received excellent service and suggestions for a tour we planned for our son and daughter when they toured the Amalfi Coast in August. Hotels were all in great locations close to the action and all excellent 4 or 5 star. Would definitely use or recommend Omega tours to friends or family.

We used Omega Tours for a trip to Rome & the Amalfi Coast. Michael Rizzo did an outstanding job and answered all of my never ending questions. Planning and arrangements were easy with lots of suggestions and good advice. The drivers they arranged were on time, friendly and informative. The tours that they arranged were on time and the guides were well versed, our only issue was with one of the guides which isn’t a reflection on Omega. The hotels that were selected were very nice. The communication with Omega was good including when we needed some information while on the trip. I would definitely recommend them.

Just came back from my 11 days Portugal tours I booked through Omega tours. And I had wonderful time. I joined a small group tours, which is really great. The tour guide Myriam is one of the best tour guide I ever had. I always travel solo( and sometimes join a group tours )and tried to travel every year if I can . I’m not sure I would consider the hotels chosen to be 4 star - with the exception of Hotel St Martin in Rome which was great - but the others were very clean and well located. Arrive Los Angeles International Airport and transfer independently to the hotel where you will meet your Tour Director.

day 02 Los Angeles-the Orange County-San Diego-Los Angeles

Travel south through San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente to San Diego, the second-largest city in California, renowned for its year-round mild weather. Following a city tour, visit picturesque Seaport Village and San Diego’s relaxing bayfront marketplace. Perhaps enjoy the opportunity for shopping. Return to Los Angeles for the evening.

day 03 Los Angeles-Palm Springs-Phoenix

Journey through Palm Springs, the winter playground for Hollywood royalty, with its lively downtown and immaculately kept golf courses at the base of the rugged San Jacinto Mountains. A sea of wind turbines marks the entrance to this desert oasis. Afterwards you will pass through Indio, home to the Int’l Date Festival in the Coachella Valley.

day 04 Phoenix-Sedona-Grand Canyon National Park

Travel through the Sonoran Desert, the richest, most biologically diverse desert ecosystem in the Americas. Continue to Sedona, a city situated in a unique geological area and encircled by distinctive redrock monoliths with such names as Cathedral and Coffee Pot. Then drive through the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon before arriving at Grand Canyon National Park. Majestic Grand Canyon National Park is one of the 7 great natural wonders of the world. Stop at the rim to fully experience this mile-deep colorful canyon’s plunging gorges, and rising spires formed by the mighty Colorado River.

day 05 Grand Canyon-Monument Valley-Page/Lake Powell

As you journey further today, you will enter the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the trading post of Cameron. Continue through the Painted Desert to visit Monument Valley, an area that embodies perhaps the most iconic images of the American West. In the afternoon, enter the town of Page, situated on a mesa above the Colorado River. Evening at leisure.

day 06 Page/Lake Powell-Kanab-Bryce Canyon National Park

Visit the mighty Glen Canyon Dam, the 2nd highest concrete-arch dam in America. You’ll enjoy views of stunning Lake Powell, where crystal blue water laps against towering red-rock canyon walls. Enter the Mormon state of Utah, pass through the town of Kanab before visiting spectacular Bryce Canyon, where a tour through a multi-colored world of sandstone spires and pinnacles will dazzle the eyes. This evening, weather permitting, be sure to gaze upon the spectacular night sky filled with sparkling stars and brilliant constellations and take in the aroma of pinewood campfires.

day 07 Bryce Canyon-Zion National Park-Las Vegas

Travel to Zion National Park and see the massive rock formations carved by wind, time, and the Virgin River. This afternoon experience the contrast of Las Vegas, the dazzling “Entertainment Capital of the World,” where round-the-clock shopping, nightly shows, and, of course, gambling are available.

day 08 Las Vegas

Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the many attractions that Las Vegas has to offer. In addition to world-class shopping, bustling casinos, and Broadway-caliber shows, you might simply stroll the famous Strip to take in its amazing sights.

day 09 Las Vegas-Death Valley National Park-Mammoth Lakes

Your tour stops at the iconic Las Vegas Welcome Sign where you may wish to capture your photo memory of Las Vegas. Having enjoyed glamorous Las Vegas, it will be a sharp contrast this afternoon to enter the quiet and extreme environment of Death Valley. Stop at Zabriskie Point and Furnace Creek Ranch before continuing across the valley and ascending the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort town of Mammoth Lakes**. The area gained prominence as a gold mining town in the 19th century and today is renowned for the superior skiing terrain and staggeringly beautiful mountain vistas.

day 10 Mammoth Lakes-Yosemite National Park

Arise with the morning sun and join us for an optional seasonal scenic gondola ride to the summit of Mammoth and enjoy a tasty breakfast as you survey a most stunning view of California from its desert floor to its lofty peaks. Today’s journey brings you to the Tioga Pass** into the scenic wonderland of Yosemite National Park. You will experience the valley floor and its splendors including the glacial-shaped granite formations of El Capitan, Half Dome, the magnificent Bridal Falls and Yosemite Falls. All snorkel gear is provided and our lifeguards are with you in the water to assist and point out the marine life on the reefs. We found Ocean Therapy Charters almost by accident and are glad we did! They went out of their way to help make our trip happen. The boat was in excellent condition and they only take up to six divers; we were fortunate as we were the only two on this outing. It had been 7 years since I last dove so I was a bit nervous at the beginning. Dive master Mike was attentive and my insecurities quickly vanished, he was an excellent underwater guide, knowing where to look for the elusive sea life. Both the pilot and assistant were friendly attentive making for an excellent overall experience. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing dive locations, clean and safe boat, and accommodating crew! My son and I did a 2 tank dive, 1 deep wreck, and one medium depth. Roger was our dive master and stand-up comic. I have never laughed so much underwater in my life. The high quality DPV scooters just pushed the dive over the top!

2024 Tour de France: How to watch, schedule, odds for cycling's top race

The biggest cycling event of the year - the 111th Tour de France -- kicks off Saturday from Florence, Italy. The 2024 Tour de France's unusual route starts in Italy for the first time ever to honor 100 years since the first Italian victory in the Tour by Ottavio Bottecchia in 1924. Also, due to the 2024 Summer Olympics, the Tour de France will not finish in Paris for the first time in event history.

The 21 stages will cover more than 2,000 miles from Saturday through July 21. Two-time defending winner Jonas Vingegaard looks to become just the ninth cyclist to win at least three Tour de France races. Last year's runner-up, Tadej Pogačar, is looking to do the same. He won in 2020 and 2021 before finishing second to Vingegaard in 2022 and 2023.
