Hello! If you want to play in the best casino, install the "Egyptian Treasure Puzzle" app, a huge number of slots, all newcomers a nice deposit bonus, withdrew already 636$… Wsop game has gotten out of hand, you have ppl playing at a table with a billion chips along with ppl who have only 100 million or only 10-20 million or less...on first call some raise at a decent raise level, however, the big chip holder person will raise an ungodly amount so if anyone wanted to meet it or raise they lose their whole chip amount playing with...if they lose...Should be rooms with limits on amount of chips owned! The game isn't poker anymore, it is who can or is able to raise high enough to win, no skill, just keep raising!!! It boils down to EAPoker wanting purchases of chips!!! Sad! I continue to play but with much fustration!! The clubs are horrid!!! I take my chips and play and win to advance in rank, however I can't alwAys play due to work, so you keep taking me back to lower ranks!! Take me back to level one of that particular suit but not all suits!! I earned it with money spent only to take it away!! Absurd!!! I do appreciate the free chips, the specials etc...l truly hope you read and absorb this writing...hope to hear from you. Inconsistent and outrageously high daily quest requirements

The daily quest requirements are fine when at the lower levels such as jacks, queens, and kings but they shoot up to a much higher, more time consuming requirements even though the prizes for those quests are identical to the quest prizes for the lower level requirements. Even after not playing for a while in order to get back to the lower level of king, the quest requirements remained at the higher level. I compared the quest requirements for my two accounts and noticed that they were not consistent and one account’s requirements were much higher than the other account even though they were at the same kings level. My suggestion is to keep the quest requirements low and consistent so that more players will participate to complete those daily quests. I am also having problems with WSOP support at times. When I have messaged support in the past with issues and there are more than one question in the message, they have a bad habit of only answering one of the questions and then ignoring the other questions. I have also contacted support numerous times now because they still haven’t issued the additional followers for a promotion that required players to complete all daily quests for a certain period. The prize was to be issued on or before December 14th but I have yet to receive the prize or any notification. What is the point of running a promotion when the promoters don’t follow through to issue the prizes?

Extremely popular, World Poker Tour® Heads-Up Hold'em is a Texas Hold'em variant designed for all table game pits. Players appreciate the traditional Texas Hold'em betting patterns along with unique enhancements that offer additional benefits.

Players use two pocket cards and the 5-card community board to achieve a better 5-card hand than the dealer. Prior to receiving their pocket cards, the player must make equal Ante and Odds wagers. The player may then place a Raise wager or check as the five community cards are revealed. The player compares their final 5-card hands to the dealer’s hand and any side bets are reconciled.

Ante : A required wager that must equal the Odds wager. Wins even money if the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand. Ante pushes if the dealer does not qualify with a Pair.

Raise : A required wager after the Community cards are revealed or the player may fold. The player may Raise 3x the Ante pre-flop, 2x post-flop and 1x after the turn and river. Raise is paid even money if the player beats the dealer.

Odds/Bad Beat Bonus : A required wager that must equal the Ante wager. Wins odds with a Straight or better or wins odds if the player loses with a Straight or better (Bad Beat Bonus).

OPTIONAL BONUS WAGERS

Trips Plus : An optional wager that wins odds using the player’s pocket cards and the 5-card Community board.

Pocket Bonus : An optional wager that wins odds using the player’s two pocket cards.

The most popular poker players in Texas

Poker in the United States is booming—again.

Last year, the World Series of Poker accepted a record 10,043 entrants, who each had to fork over $10,000 to sit at the no-limit hold ’em tournament with a $93.4 million purse, including $12.1 million for the winner.

The event, which started in 1970 with seven participants, took off in 2003 when Chris Moneymaker burst onto the scene, The Financial Times reported. The Tennessee accountant won $2.5 million after qualifying for the main event in an $86 online satellite tournament, and poker hasn’t been the same since.

The World Poker Tour, which arranges and hosts international poker tournaments, was launched the previous year. Added to that, the increased availability of broadband internet plus unregulated online poker rooms and the entertainment value of televised events helped foster a rise that lasted until the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 prevented businesses from accepting payments from people participating in illegal gambling.

Online poker took another huge hit in 2011, when the Department of Justice on what is known as Black Friday seized the domains of super sites PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker, and Ultimate Bet—and $34 million from players. It made a comeback, however, when the coronavirus pandemic led to the sprouting of new platforms, and subsequent developments and innovations made the game more attractive.

Still, it’s been a slow burn, and while poker has seen its share of ups and downs as the gambling industry ebbs and flows, more and more players are sitting down to ante up.

To see which players had the most eyes on them, Clubs Poker  compiled a ranking—based on a national analysis —of the most popular poker players in Texas using data from The Hendon Mob . Players residing in Texas were ranked according to the unique pageviews on the website starting from Jan. 1, 2008. Data about each player’s live cash earnings were added as supplementary insights. Data is as of March 13, 2024.

On Wednesday, Aram Zobian claimed victory at the 2024 U.S. Poker Open at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, winning the prestigious Golden Eagle trophy and $25,000 PGT Passport bonus prize.

Zobian finished the eight-event series with one victory, four cashes, and more than $600,000 in prize money won. He topped the 2024 U.S. Poker Open leaderboard with 616 points, nearly 200 points ahead of any other competitor. Zobian joins Martin Zamani (2023), Sean Winter (2022), David Peters (2021, 2019), and Stephen Chidwick (2018) as U.S. Poker Open champions.

The 2024 world poker tour seminole hard rock poker showdown kicks off its 13th time as a wpt main tour stop on friday, so here’s a little history lesson about one of the most prolific events in tour history..

After popping in and out of the Port of Miami for WPT Voyage , the World Poker Tour returns to Florida for one of its signature events – the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood, Florida . The history of the WPT at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood dates back over a decade, to Season IX, with the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown debuting in May 2011.

The 2024 edition of the WPT SHRPS kicks off Friday, April 19 with Day 1A, followed by Day 1B on Saturday, April 20. The field will combine on Day 2 Sunday, and play through Day 4 on Tuesday until a final table of six has been locked in. The event will be paused at that point, with the final table set to be filmed in late May in Las Vegas.

With so much rich history surrounding this event, it feels only right to reflect ahead of the 13th edition of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.

One Year Since Bin Weng Kicked His Career into High Gear

At the outset of the 2024 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, Bin Weng is the No. 1 tournament poker player in the world according to the Global Poker Index rankings. One year ago, Weng was starting to put together a career year with a $1 million win at Borgata and a WSOP Circuit Main Event title over the first few months of 2023.

But that was only the beginning.

Weng flew down to Florida and started logging cashes from Event 1 of the prelims at SHRPS, and by the time the series was over, he’d secure his place at the WPT televised final table. He’d already punched his ticket to the TV tapings in Las Vegas, and then just one week later made his way to Oklahoma to do it all over again. Weng booked another final table spot for WPT Choctaw, and set himself up to play for WPT titles on back-to-back days as he looked to make history .

The first night at HyperX in Las Vegas netted Weng the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown title and $1,128,250 . And while his second shot at a title came up short in fourth place, Weng was on his way to supercharging the rest of his year.

He went on to win over $2.2 million that July at the WPT EveryOne for One Drop at Wynn Las Vegas, and then capped it all off by chopping the $25,300 High Roller during the WPT World Championship festival. There were a few more players to sweat out, but Weng ultimately locked up 2023 WPT Player of the Year honors as well.

Brian Altman Chasing WPT History at a Friendly Venue

No individual tournament poker player has had more success at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood than Brian Altman. The three-time WPT champion won two WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open titles, in 2015 and 2020 (as well as his third WPT title at the sister property in Tampa in 2021), and also holds the No. 1 spot on the all-time money list for tournaments held on the property.

Altman is the most recent addition to the three-time WPT champions club, and as everyone chases down Darren Elias’ current record of four WPT titles, Altman figures to be a player to watch once the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicks off on Friday.

Checking in on SHRPS 2024 Prelim Action

In the lead-up to every WPT Main Tour Stop at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, a month-long festival of events brings out some of the biggest names in poker and generates tremendous stories (and prizes) along the way.

WPT Champions Club member Chance Kornuth took down a $10,000 Heads Up event earlier this week, defeating Scott Baumstein to seal the deal. Along the way, Kornuth defeated Landon Tice in the semifinals and managed an icy slowroll to his friend on his way to victory .

The biggest story coming out of the prelim events was that of Ryan Hoenig. His run of form started inauspiciously enough with a sixth-place finish in a $600 Omaha Hi-Lo event on April 5. Two days later, it was fifth in an $1,100 No Limit Hold’em tournament. But that’s when the real fun started.

Hoenig put together back-to-back runner-up finishes on April 9th and 10th, but that was still just the beginning. Hoenig ran off three consecutive victories on the next three nights, from April 11 to April 13 in three different mixed game formats. If he hasn’t used up every ounce of his run-good, Hoenig will be a player to watch for in the Championship Event field.

To the surprise of few who follow tournament results, Ari Engel recorded two titles himself during the SHRPS festival. Two-time 2023 WSOP bracelet winner Brian Yoon picked up a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em title in one of the biggest buy-in events of the festival as well.
