Day 01, Monday, October 28 | Arrive Ireland! Enjoy Dublin

On arrival of all international flights booked by Celtic Tours, we have a morning group departure from Dublin Airport (departure time approximately 9:45 am*). Travel along the coastline from Malahide to Portmornock, Howth and Clontarf where we begin to tap into the spooktacular abundance of Ireland. When it comes to the most notable vampire of all time, Dracula is the name on everyone’s blood-red lips. Written by Irishman Bram Stoker and published in 1897, the infamous bloodsucker has spawned countless adaptions across creative media and is the source of an entire vampire genre. It all began in a tiny Dublin hamlet called Clontarf, itself a historical and mystical location known for the Battle of Clontarf, where Irish hero Brian Boru was slain and more than 800 years later, Bram Stoker was born. Continue onto our city center hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free for your to explore the capital city. Dinner is on your own this evening. Overnight in Dublin. (*Note, transfer may be earlier depending on booked incoming flights).  

Day 02, Tuesday, October 29 | Dublin

This morning after breakfast enjoy a panoramic tour of the Capital City ending at the EPIC Museum, located in Dublin's Docklands. This fantastic museum covers the history of the Irish diaspora and emigration to other countries. Some free time this afternoon to enjoy the Capital city before our spooktacular evening adventure on a 2-hour Dublin Ghost Bus Tour! Be enlightened by little-known tales of its darker side while journeying with your guide to some of its most sinister spots. Get a new perspective on the Royal College of Surgeons, wander the St. James graveyard, and visit the haunted steps of St Audoens Church. (B)

Day 03, Wednesday, October 30 | To Derry, the Halloween Capital of Ireland

Morning departure from Dublin, we head northwest to the Spooktacular Halloween Capital of Derry. Enjoy a 1.5-hour Derry Girls Tour, beginning at the famous Derry Girls mural on Orchard Street, and walk in the footsteps of your favorite Derry Girls (not forgetting the wee English fella of course!). Learn interesting facts about the show, visit filming locations, and have plenty of craic with your resident Derry Girl Charlene or purebred Derry man Garvin.  We have had the pleasure of hosting many stars from the show on our tour so if it's good enough for the stars then its good enough for you! After the craic, enjoy a guided tour of the famous Guildhall in Derry. Sitting within reach of our famous 400-year-old Walls is one of the City's most recognizable - and arguably one of the most stunning landmarks in Derry. The remainder of the afternoon is free in Derry where there are many spooky adventures to choose from. Return to your hotel for dinner this evening. Overnight in Derry. (D,B)

Day 04, Thursday, October 31 | Halloween Festival in the Walled City

After breakfast, embark on a historic walking tour of the walled city, embracing its troubled past, its peaceful present, with our expert guide. Afterward, be part of Europe’s largest Halloween Festival as the Walled City of Derry welcomes the spirit of Samhain through its historic gates for a festival like no other! Follow the Awakening the Walled City Trail and find out more about the folklore, history and heritage that makes this place so special. The story of Halloween is brought to life through illumination, aerial performance, pyrotechnics, and music, as the spirits cross over to join the festivities, bringing magic and mischief to the streets. Be sure and make your way over to the parade route to watch the Halloween parade, which traditionally involves hundreds of local performers from schools, clubs, and groups right across the City and District, helping it to retain the community spirit that has always been at the heart of Derry’s world-class festivities. Parade begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by the City of Drones at 8:15 p.m. and the Fireworks Finale at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks will take place on the River Foyle.  The best viewing points are along the Quay, from beside the Peace Bridge to Sainsbury’s. Dinner is on your own this evening. Enjoy a bite at one of the many fine restaurants Derry has to offer, before returning to your hotel for overnight. (B)  

Day 05, Friday, November 01 | Derry - Donegal - Derry

We head out of the walled city today after breakfast we set out to tour some of the most rugged and breathtaking parts of Ireland, the northwest and scenic Donegal. We travel through Letterkenny to Glenveagh National Park, extending over 16,000 hectares of north Donegal, including the Derryveagh Mountains, the Poisoned Glen and part of Errigal Mountain. Time allowed to hike the grounds or alternatively pop into the Tea Rooms in the castle for a snack (on your own). Continue on through towns of Gweedore, Dungloe, Glenties and Ardara. We suggest a stop into the Triona Donegal Tweed Center in Ardara for famous Donegal tweeds and gifts. Return to Derry where you will find more Halloween celebrations continuing. Overnight in Derry. (B)  

Day 06, Saturday, November 02 | Derry - Navan - Dublin

Leaving Derry behind, we travel south to the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland Armagh, with a stop at Navan Centre & Fort ancient seat of the Ulster kings, for a deep dive into Irish myth and legend. Here at one of Ireland’s most famous archaeological sites, you can walk in the footsteps of Iron Age warriors as 2,000 years of history comes to life. Continue onto the small coastal town of Ballbriggan in Co. Dublin for our last night. Tonight have a farewell dinner at our hotel. Overnight in Ballbriggan.  

Day 07, Sunday, November 03 | Dublin - Return Home

After breakfast, morning transfer to Dublin Airport with time to check-in and do some last minute duty free shopping before boarding your flight for your return home, with a promise to return.

It was seen as the division of the earth’s year, going from summer to the much darker winter months.

It was this division that prompted the ancient people of Ireland to believe that the spirits could more easily pass through to the mortal world.

During Samhain, the deceased family members were honored while the evil spirits were banished.

To keep themselves from harm, the Celts often left food and drink outside to keep the spirits happy.

Here are 9 of the best known Halloween festivals in Ireland.

1. The Puca Festival, Co. Meath

There’s probably no better place to celebrate Halloween than in Ireland's Boyne Valley region, where Samhain was once celebrated with grand fires and feasts.

This 4-day festival in County Meath is a popular annual celebration of Halloween that draws locals and international visitors.

The festival, which takes place this year between Oct. 31st and Nov 3 will include, as usual, a number of free and ticketed events, all focused on “music, myth, food, folklore, fire, feasting and merriment.”

The musical acts for this year's festival will be released later in the year.

The Púca is a shape-shifting creature from Celtic folklore and a familiar character in the Irish Halloween story.

Last year, most of the entertainment was centered in the towns of Athboy and Trim, with five nights of music, comedy and Halloween spectacle around the town's Trim Castle .

In Athboy, an ancient Samhain hub, visitors gathered on Oct. 31st at the town's Fair Green to view the festival's closing ceremony known as “An Lasadh Suas.”

The Puca flame was ignited on a special stage to signal the beginning of a night of music and celebration.

2. The Bram Stoker Festival

The popular Bram Stoker Festival returns to Dublin in 2024 from Oct. 25th through the 28th for four days and nights of “deadly adventures.”

The celebration pays homage to Bram Stoker, the Dubliner who created the novel  “Dracula,” which was first published 126 years ago.

In 2022, the highlight of the festival was a light and sound experience called “Borealis,” which beamed the experience of an aurora borealis (the Northern Lights) over Dublin Castle’s Upper Courtyard.

As in years past, the festival provides plenty of entertainment for young and old, including film screenings, discussions, and walking tours of Dublin's dark side, specifically the sites most closely associated with Stoker ( Marsh's Library , Trinity College , Dublin Castle, and more).

Major outdoor spectacles and installations are the hallmarks of this Halloween celebration, so if you're in the city, be sure to check it out.

3. Derry Halloween Festival

You haven’t experienced Halloween until you've come to Derry .

Enjoy the atmosphere of a city thronged with revelers disguised in scary costumes.

In addition, you can enjoy the fabulous food, street theater, stunning light shows, live music, and more in a festival that is now recognized as one of Europe's best Halloween celebrations.

This year's festival takes place between Oct. 28th and 31st.

Awakening the Walled City Trail Go on a magical journey through the City of Bones where you’ll encounter a cast of weird and wonderful characters who bring Halloween to life in Derry. See the story of Halloween/Samhain through illumination, an aerial performance, pyrotechnics, and music.

Parade and Fireworks Watch as hundreds of local performers participate in the city’s most popular parade, bringing the story of Halloween together in the form of magic displays and more.

The celebration culminates in a wonderful fireworks display over the River Foyle.

4. Wicklow Historic Gaol, Co. Wicklow

What better place to celebrate Halloween than at the Wicklow Historic Gaol, possibly the most haunted place in Ireland ?

Choose from the virtual reality experience known as the Gates of Hell Tour or a separate day or night tour.

The tour will transport you back in time to the 1700s, providing you with a 3-dimensional view of the prison's conditions, including its dark dungeons.

Some of Wicklow Gaol's most notorious prisoners are characterized in the experience, as well as a guest appearance from one of the jail's famous ghosts.

The virtual reality part of the tour lasts for 19 minutes and is suitable for ages 10 and above.

5. Macnas Halloween Parade, Galway

Something spooktacular is taking place in Galway's Latin Quarter this Halloween.

The much loved Macnas Parade , a performance company based in Galway, is expected to take over the city center again this year.

In 2023, the parade was inspired by the legend of La Loba, a wild wolfwoman who is known as the collector and preserver of the bones of humans, animals and gods that face the peril of being lost to the world.

Known for its spectacular structures, this year’s celebration won't disappoint. Its Halloween 2023 spectacle, La Loba, stands at almost 16 feet (5 meters) and will be covered from head to toe in white skulls.

If you plan to be in Galway during the annual Halloween celebration, you won’t want to miss this one.

6. The Nightmare Realm

This adults-only, award-winning Halloween event has been dubbed the most terrifying Halloween event in Ireland and the Best Scream Park in Europe.

The attraction is housed in a 130-year-old Victorian red brick building on Mary Street in the inner city.

If you fancy a good spine-tingling experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Expect dazzling special effects, immersive scenery, live actors, and five new mazes, including The Haunted Orphanage, The Sewers, Cannibals Playground, Attack of the Clowns, and Death Row.

The experience also features Ireland’s first 3D binaural experience, giving you the chance to settle down in the dark and immerse yourself in a classic Irish ghost story using only sound and your imagination.

The attraction usually opens at the beginning of October and remains open for a month. Tickets can be purchased on the website.

You must be 13+ to see the attraction.

7. Dublin Ghost Tours

While the following ghost tours are available throughout the year, taking one around Halloween in Ireland seems like the right thing to do!

The Haunted History Tour of Dublin is a 1 and a 1/2-hour walking tour of the city that uncovers the macabre and gruesome aspects of Dublin’s history.

It includes information on the burning of the 18th-century Madam Darkey “The Witch” Kelly, the tragic tale of The Green Lady of St. Audoen's parish, and many more spooky tales.

Tours are available Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. Tickets cost €19 each.

The 3-hour guided tour involves getting on a “Banshee bus to a magical location southwest of Dublin City.”

The leisurely hike in the Dublin mountains takes visitors to the legendary and mysterious Montpelier Hill, with beautiful views of Dublin. The building known to Dubliners as The Hellfire Club, is associated with satanic rituals.

The tour is available daily at 7 p.m.

The North Quay Ghost Walk Dublin Tour will take you to one of Dublin's oldest Viking neighborhoods, Oxmantown.

The ghost tour begins outside the popular Church Bar on Mary Street, not far from a small ruin that exists in an alleyway, once the home of Saint Mary's Abbey.

You'll hear the story of the infamous and sadistic “Hanging Judge” who presided over the trial of the United Irishman Robert Emmet, as well as the legend of “Scaldbrother,” the infamous medieval thief, and Billy the Bowl, the 18th-century murderer, born without legs, who once terrorized two Dublin neighborhoods.

The 1 and 1/2-hour tour also includes a visit to Numbers 7 & 8 Hendrick Street, once home to no fewer than six different ghosts.

The tour is available on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets cost €19.

8. The Cork Ghost Tour

Take a trip through 1700s era Cork to experience what the Cork Ghost Tour organizers describe as “hilarious, horrible histories, local tales, ghost stories & hysterical shenanigans!”

The tour begins and ends outside the Cork Opera House. Tickets are €17 for adults and €14 for students and seniors.

9. Kilkenny Ghost Tours

This ghost tour through Kilkenny, the home of the world's first-ever witch trial, is an attraction you shouldn’t miss if you happen to be in the city at Halloween.

A new addition to the tour is the chance to walk through the medieval burial grounds of St. Mary's Church, where the remains of Kilkenny's merchant families were buried during the 13th century.

The remains of four skeletons were uncovered in this area in 2016 and were believed to have been among the city's poor.

Tours leave every night at 8 p.m. from Lanigan's Bar and Restaurant.

The 1-hour tours cost €16 for ages 13 and up, €14 for ages 12 and under, and €55 for a family of 4.

Spend it in the Halloween capital of the world

You may not be aware, but the Northern Ireland city of Derry-Londonderry , on the banks of the River Foyle, is the world’s Halloween capital, rivaling Salem, Massachusetts. Each year, the famous walled city breaks into a week-long festival extravaganza dedicated to all things Halloween.

Over the first three nights, the city walls alight with supernatural illumination for the Awakening of the Walls, and Samhain Sessions take place across the city for some musical entertainment. The festivities reach their high point with the Halloween Parade, featuring stunning costumes, ghosts, and ghouls.

Explore Ireland’s “Haunted Triangle”

Where might you find one of Ireland’s most awfully haunted regions? I n County Offaly, in the midlands region of Leinster, of course. The so-called Offaly Haunted Triangle consists of three imposing castles that have more than their fair share of chilling histories.

First, there’s Charleville Castle, built between 1798 and 1812 by the First Earl of Charleville, Charles Bury. It has long been rumored that Bury was a devil-worshipper and his ghost walks among the dungeons, catacombs, and tower of his castle. Charleville is also haunted by the ghost of a young girl who fell downstairs to her death in the early 1800s, around the time the castle was being built. She allegedly still roams the castle and has been heard moving furniture, laughing, and talking.

At Kinnity Castle, in the beautiful Birr countryside, the “Phantom Monk of Kinnitty” has been seen gliding along the room of the Banquet Hall in this castle. The Geraldine Room and the Elizabeth Room are two haunted bedrooms in the castle, with other reports of supernatural presence throughout the grounds.

Next up, Leap Castle, near the town of Roscrea, is believed to be inhabited by several ghosts. One, perhaps the most frightening, is that of a foul-smelling elemental creature that is half-human and half-beast. It is said to roam the lower regions of the Castle. A ghost of a young girl, thought to be the daughter of a one-time owner of the Castle, also haunts the site. The story goes that her father killed the boy she was in love with, so she in turn killed her father one night during his sleep. The following day, the girl was pushed off the castle by an invisible hand, falling to her death from the hand of her own father’s ghost.

Witness the world’s coolest parade of giant puppets

Ever heard of the name Macnas? The Galway-based spectacle and street performance company take their beloved Halloween parades through the streets of Dublin and Galway each year, featuring storytellers, musicians, acrobats, artists, and their signature giant puppets.

Get lost (or found!) in a hedge maze

Nothing whispers “Halloween” quite so alluringly as a hedge maze. With plenty of false signs and exits, a hedge maze requires you to trust yourself, problem-solve, and get over the end of The Shining! One of Ireland’s largest hedge mazes can be found a short trip from Dublin in the north of County Kildare. The Kildare Maze, as it is known, opened to the public in 2000. It includes a watchtower at its very center so you can plan your escape if you get stuck. For novices, there’s a much smaller wooden maze, and for those who prefer to know exactly where they’re going, there’s a zip line course as well.

As one might expect of a city dating back to the Viking raids of the eighth and ninth centuries, Dublin is considered an exceptionally haunted city. This is why it makes sense to let the experts show you around on one of Dublin’s many excellent walking or bus ghost tours. One of the most acclaimed is the Gravedigger’s Ghost Bus tour , which takes brave souls on a whirlwind visit to some of the city’s most haunted locales, including Dublin Castle and Christchurch Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol, Glasnevin Cemetery where over 1 million Dubliners take their final repose, and it’s adjoining Gravedigger’s Pub (a.k.a John Kavanaugh's), where you can enjoy a much-deserved drink.

For those who prefer to feel fear on foot, try the Haunted History Walking Tour of Dublin, which winds through the cobblestoned streets of South Dublin and tells tales of witch burnings, haunted St. Audoen’s church, and demons who once stalked the city streets.

Have a pint in the world’s most haunted pub

Would you dare order a pint at Grace Neill’s Pub in County Down? Built in 1611, the pub was originally known as “The King’s Arms,” but was renamed after Grace Neill, who ran the inn in the town of Donaghadee for many years until her death in 1918 at the age of 98.

But Grace hasn’t let her death interfere with her work at the pub. A ghost of an old woman in Victorian clothing has allegedly been spotted in dark corners of the inn, and her spirit can be seen at the front bar, straightening glasses and furniture and switching lights on and off. A strange shuffling can apparently be heard coming from the second floor, and some have even felt an invisible “presence” pass through them while standing near the building’s staircase.

Patrons visiting Grace Neill’s, officially one of the oldest pubs on the island of Ireland, have nothing to worry about – the former caretaker of the inn is as friendly as ghosts can be! Grace ran a welcoming establishment while she was alive and continues to do so in her afterlife. Stop by for pints, music, and the craic!

Ireland, an enchanted isle of mist and mysteries. Where better to explore ancient pagan rites of the druids, visit altars where awful and unspeakable practices were performed in past eras, and visit abbeys, castles and country houses, haunted by uneasy spirits of the past. Explore little country graveyards were those who are long-buried rise up on Halloween. Hear tales of the paranormal from those who have experience of the inexplicable. Meet some of Europe's friendliest people and enjoy the beautiful, unspoiled countryside. Bask in the comfort of charming old inns, sample delightful food and listen to seanchaithe tell tall tales of headless horses and phantom carriages, of pookas and fairies, of witches and enchantment. You’ll hear about the Banshee - the Irish ghost with the dreadful, wailing voice. Descriptions of her appearance vary from story to story, from an ugly old hag to a beautiful young woman, but all agree that the creature’s blood-curdling voice can be heard three times before someone dies. And then of course, there are the locations and buildings said to be haunted.

Dublin & Ghosts

Arrive into Dublin Airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Begin with a familiarisation tour of Dublin’s fair city – your walking tour will take in the beauties of this fine Georgian city as well as exploring some of the more haunted sites. Explore a spooky house in Henrietta Street; check out the gruesome history of the elegant Dublin Castle; survey the tombs of St Patrick’s Cathedral; spot Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver’s Travels, amongst the bookstacks of Marsh’s Library. Visit St Michan’s Church where Handel first performed the Messiah & the bodies of people who died in the 15th century are perfectly preserved for all to see. Take in Kildare Street, where Bram Stoker, author of Dracula lived. Opt to stay at the Shelbourne Hotel. The Shelbourne is said to be haunted by a young girl by the name of Mary Masters. Mary passed away from cholera in the hotel in the nineteenth century. Ever since then countless people all through the years have seen the ghost or experienced something that they can’t explain.

The Hell Fire Club is the popular name given to the ruined building at the top of Montpelier Hill in Co Dublin where the Devil is said to have appeared.

In Dublin (where author of Dracula, Bram Stoker, was born), visit St Michan’s Church where the bodies of people who died in the 15th century are perfectly preserved for all to see.

Kilmainham Gaol

Today you will be visiting the notorious Kilmainham Gaol. If you have any desire to understand Irish history – especially the juicy bits about resistance to British rule – then a visit to this former prison is an absolute must. Prisons are famously haunted buildings, and Ireland’s most famous prison is no exception. This threatening grey building, built in 1796, played a role in virtually every act of Ireland’s painful path to independence, and even today, despite closing in 1924, it still has the power to chill. Numerous reports of paranormal activity on the grounds of Kilmainham have been reported throughout the years. Following your visit to the prison, take the remainder of the day to explore the Irish capital on your own. In the evening, take the opportunity to experience other spirits… that is the spirits of Irish pubs! Enjoy a traditional music pub tour of Dublin, where you will interact with locals and indulge on a crisp Guinness beer all the while enjoying the folklore of years past.

Glendalough & Wicklow Mountains

Today, meet your driver guide in the lobby of your hotel. He will be with you for the remainder of your time in Ireland. Spend the day exploring County Wicklow, Powerscourt House and the sacred valley of Glendalough. This region hosts an abundance of folklore. Not only does the ghost of Kathleen float beneath the choppy waters of the lake beside St Kevin’s 6th Century monastery, but also hangman, Hempenstall roams the fog-filled Wicklow mountains at dusk and dawn. Be sure to also visit Wicklow Gaol, which housed prisoners for decades; some of whom allegedly continue to meander through the corridors today.

Wicklow Gaol, which has a reputation of being one of the most haunted places in Ireland and as it housed prisoners from Ireland’s various rebellions against British rule, it’s not surprising. There have been sightings of a woman in 19th-century dress and a little girl who appears in the schoolroom.

County Monaghan

Depart Dublin for Co. Monaghan, this is where the beautiful Castle Leslie is located. Visit Dún na Rí Forest Park along the way. With moss covered woods and mist enwrapped, towering green trees, this forest recalls memories from the haunting, enchanting forests of a fairy-tale novel. Roam through the trails carved by roots and vines of the forest’s ancient inhabitants. However, be weary of the spirit of Cú Chulainn, who haunts these lands since his death defending Ulster against the armies of Queen Maeve.

Castle Leslie

Take today to roam the eerie halls and noteworthy grounds of Castle Leslie. Castle Leslie is set amid 1,000 acres of remarkable scenery and has been home to the Leslie family for over three centuries. Several prominent faces have lodged at the castle over the years such as W.B. Yeats, Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger. The Castle offers a myriad of activities and pursuits for guests to partake in, including equestrian facilities, falconry, fishing and cycling. However, in the evening, be sure to check out the infamous Red Room, a room said to be haunted by Norman Leslie who died during WWI. Allegedly, his mother Lady Marjorie was sleeping in this room one night and awoke to see his ghost standing near the foot of her bed, looking through some letters. After a while, he turned to her, smiled, and then faded away. Many other anomalies have been reported by visitors of the castle, such as bells ringing by themselves and strange apparitions wandering down corridors.

Ireland's most haunted Castle

Make your way south to Ballyfin Demesne. Along the way you will visit one of Ireland’s most haunted sites, Leap Castle. Leap Castle certainly is home to many secrets of a dark and mysterious past. Over 400 years ago in what is now known as the “Bloody Chapel” a shocking murder occurred between one brother and his priest brother during high mass. Another source of evil at Leap Castle is a hidden ubliet (dungeon) located off the bloody chapel. It was a small room with a drop floor. Those who were forgotten within this room suffered unimaginable pain and misery until their death. Around c.1900 workmen who were hired to clean out the ubliet made a hideous discovery, human skeletons laid piled on top of each other. Because of its extremely bloody history Leap Castle has always had a reputation for being haunted, a reputation so strong local people avoided it at night. Completely gutted by fire, Leap Castle was boarded up and its gates were locked for over 70 years. Locals have described seeing the windows at the top of the castle “light up for a few seconds as if many candles were brought into the room late at night”. The castle laid in ruin for years.

Today, enjoy the grounds of Ballyfin. The boutique Relais & Chateaux property boasts a plethora of activities to partake in, from falconry and archery to boating and fishing. If you opt to take your dose of the spooks today, venture to Kinnitty Castle. It’s said to be haunted by the 11th Earl of Kildare and is most famous for its long and turbulent history. The castle was destroyed in 1209 and was later rebuilt by the Norman’s in 1213.

Galway city

Venture to the Galway today. En route, visit Clonony Castle, a 16th-century Tudor castle built with all the usual features for the period, including a murder hole, mysterious passages, and a three-story tower. It was given by King Henry VIII to Thomas Boleyn in exchange for the hand of his daughter, Anne. Anne’s two cousins (also cousins of Queen Elizabeth I) lived there and were buried on the grounds just a hundred feet from the castle, a fact only re-discovered in 1803. There have been many reported sightings of the ghost of a skeletal being known as ‘The Thin Man’ atop of the tower, an eerie hazy glow surrounding him. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the musical capital of Ireland, Galway. Numerous landmarks and places of historical significance are scattered throughout the City of the Tribes, and one of its best known is The Long Walk. Built as an extension of the vibrant city quays and situated near the well-known Spanish Arch, The Long Walk has served as a favourite walking destination for three centuries. Immortalized in song and works of art, an air of romanticism surrounds of the area. Stories of the strange and unexplained have also been told about this picturesque promenade, and many locals claim the place is a hotbed of hauntings.

Experience the wild Atlantic way, as you explore Connemara. Connemara is the area of Western Galway and South Mayo bounded by the Atlantic and Lough Corrib. It is an area beloved by artists and poets, who find magical inspiration in its wide-open bogs and towering cloud-capped mountains. Cottages nestle into hillsides where wild looking sheep with thick fleeces and great curling horns freely graze. The rugged coastline is punctuated with little fishing villages. Connemara translates as ‘Inlets of the Sea’ and the roads along the peninsula’s filigreed coast bear this out as they wind around the small bays and coves of this breath-taking stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way. While in Connemara, you will visit an oyster farm and partake in a tour and tasting. A picnic lunch will follow this experience, allowing you to further indulge on the fresh oysters, lite sandwiches, and of course a glass of bubbly! Take the remainder of the afternoon to continue explore Connemara, and perhaps visit the famed Kylemore Abbey. The Abbey served as the backdrop for the plight of the Benedictine Nuns, who were forced out of Belgium during WWI. Return to Galway in the evening.

As the “haunted tour” it would have been nice to actually do a haunted tour. Maybe the haunted tour at Hampton Palace where actors are dressed Up and walking the halls or a night tour of the Tower of London. It was a fabulous 9 days. Only missed the haunted part.

• Irish pubs serve up hearty lunches, such as the traditional stew of bacon and boiled cabbage. Soda bread is delicious, very filling, and served with many meals. Nibble a scone at afternoon tea, with a pat of high-quality butter from County Kerry. Guinness stout is an international sensation, but locals might favor Murphy’s, depending on where you are.
• Dublin has seen something of a culinary revolution, and the city now boasts an impressive array of new restaurants offering exciting cuisine with continental Europe, Asian, and even American influences.
• Scottish cuisine relies on readily available ingredients like game, dairy, and fish, with little use of exotic spices. Pickled kippers and smoked salmon are popular, as well as hearty dishes like Scotch broth (stew of meat and root vegetables) and haggis (a savory pudding of sheep innards). Scotch whisky is a legendary local spirit, and Scottish ales are world-famous.
• For traditional English fare at a reasonable price, try a pub meal of fish and chips or bangers and mash. Stilton cheese, steak and kidney pie, and Cumberland sausages are also worth a try.
• Modern-day London boasts an array of diverse international restaurants. Popular options for the adventurous palate include Indian, Thai, Chinese, Indonesian, Greek, and West African cuisine. Sip afternoon tea with delicious finger sandwiches and scones at Harrods for the ultimate in English tradition.
• Ireland and the United Kingdom operate on the European standard 220-240 volts and use a Type G plug with three large, flat pins.
• We recommend packing a universal adapter, as well as a voltage converter if you plan on using your own hairdryer or other device without a built-in converter.
• The strength of the air conditioning in European hotels is often not as strong or as cool as what you might be used to in the U.S. or Canada. When air conditioning is available, it is usually regulated seasonally and controlled centrally by the hotel.
• Hotels may provide hairdryers, irons, and other small appliances, but these amenities cannot be guaranteed.
• Wi-Fi is available in most hotels, though some charges may apply.
• There is no Wi-Fi on any of the motor coaches.
• Please contact your mobile service provider for information on roaming charges.
• Ireland and the United Kingdom are on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), which is five hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET).
• When it’s noon in New York, it’s 5pm on tour.
• You will use the euro in Ireland and the Pound sterling in the United Kingdom.
• Better rates of exchange are usually available overseas, although it’s worth ordering some currency from your local bank to use when you first arrive.
• We strongly advise that you take debit/bank cards and credit cards, which can be used to withdraw cash at local banks as needed.
• You can use most debit/credit cards at ATMs on the international networks Cirrus and Plus, but make sure to check with your home bank about withdrawal fees.
• Inform your bank and credit card company of your travel plans so that they won’t confuse your international purchases for fraudulent charges.
• International banks and businesses primarily accept debit and credit cards that work with the EMV chip system. If you do not already have at least one debit or credit card with a chip in it, we strongly recommend requesting one from your bank prior to your tour.
• At the conclusion of your tour, it’s customary to offer your Tour Director and driver a gratuity in local currency. Please keep current exchange rates in mind.
• We recommend tipping the equivalent of $10USD to $12USD per person per day for your Tour Director and the equivalent of $3USD per person per day for your driver.

2  Our tours are all based on double occupancy. There will be an additional supplement for single travelers which will depend on tour taken. 

3  Payment for deposit will hold your place, final balance  payment will be 40 days before the start of your choice of  tour. 

4  Installment plans are available for anyone who would like to avail of them.

8  The company tour guide will give all participants phone no's of tour guides and driver at the start of the trip or in an email before the start of the trip, it is vital that you keep these in a safe place.

9  At the start of each day your tour guide will tell you what time you should be ready, or to be on the bus for the next day's journey, it is up to you to contact your guide if you missed announcements on times. 

10 There is a cancellation fee for participants who cancel within 40 days of the start of trip. Please see contract.

11  Some of our trips require walking over stony roads and pathways, it is advised to always bring strong waterproof walking shoes, and waterproof/windproof outer coats/jackets also.

Malahide Castle:

King Henry II gifted Richard Talbot the lands and harbour of Malahide for his services to the crown in 1185. From that point on, the Talbot family became intertwined with Malahide’s history and development.

A magnificent fortress with a long and dramatic history, and a few resident ghosts, Malahide also have gardens that you can roam through, It has a walled garden, and a Butterfly house but its ghosts are active here all the time:

Reports of spooky sightings go back as long as the castle’s 800-year history; hardly surprising when you consider the tales of battles, bloodshed and broken-hearts surrounding this medieval building.

Some of these ghosts are connected to real historical figures that lived here while others are of more mysterious origin. One of the most famous ghostly residents is court jester Puck. Unlucky in love, Puck continues to nurse a broken heart in the turret where he used to live. You may also have heard of the lady in white; a female apparition who wanders the rooms and corridors of the castle.

Plenty of visitors have reported encounters with these specters – will you be next?!

Christ Church Cathedral:

Christ Church Cathedral has stood at the heart of Dublin for almost 1,000 years. Many visitors from all over the world are welcomed to this important heritage site every day.

History is also brought to life at the cathedral, originally a Viking church, it is the home to Crypts. 

At the Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin lie two stone effigies side-by-side—one larger and intact, and the other a worn-down demi-figure. The larger of the two is dressed in full armor, its face completely covered to its viewers. It carries a large shield decorated in crosses; the family this design could belong to or any other meaning it might hold remains a mystery. Meanwhile, the smaller figure’s features are indistinct due to age. The effigies are dated to the fourteenth century but are said to be the resting places of historical figures from the twelfth century, If tradition is to be believed, then these figures represent Strongbow and his son.

Ardgillan Castle:

Initially, the site was heavily wooded, the name Ardgillan being derived from the Irish “Ard Choill” meaning High Wood. It was cleared out by service soldiers and itinerant workers in return for one penny a day, sleeping accommodation, and one meal.

The house consists of two storeys over a basement which extends out under the lawns on the southern side of the building. When occupied, the ground and first floors were the living accommodations while the west and east wings were servants’ quarters and estate offices. The basement is comprised of the service floor, the kitchen, and stores. The Castle has now been restored and the ground floor rooms and kitchens are open to visitors for guided tours.

St Michans Crypts:

St. Michan’s Church is an historic Church of Ireland church located in Church Street, Dublin 7, Ireland. The church is renowned for its unusual vaults, which house a number of mummified remains, as well as for its fine woodwork and historic organ. The church has a fascinating history, dating back over 900 years.

The earliest Christian chapel on the site of St. Michan’s Church dates from 1095 and was built by the Vikings. The current structure largely dates from a reconstruction undertaken under William Robinson in 1686, but it is still the only parish church on the north side of the River Liffey that has survived from a Viking foundation. Over the centuries, the church has served the spiritual needs of both Catholic and Protestant parishioners in Dublin.

Wicklow Gaol:

Wicklow Gaol was, for many years, a place of horrendous atrocities in which prisoners were subjected to torture, starvation and death. Many might scoff at the idea of ghosts. Many others believe that a place such as this, with its dark and sordid history, could very well harbour the spirits of those who previously lived or worked here.

Some of the strange unexplained events and encounters reported include:

• A man seen walking in front of the bars to the holding cell/dayroom on the ground floor.
• A woman in a full length black velvet cloak with the hood up seen walking towards the two rooms at ground level.
• A smell of roses or at other times bad smells sometimes emanate from Cell 5.
• A green mist floating around the main floor.
• A man seen walking from cell 19 to the end of walkway – some people have commented that he held his hands behind his back.
• A man seen standing in the far corner of the ship’s upper deck.
• Some women have reported feeling extremely uneasy on the upper deck, experiencing a sense of fear or apprehension.
• On the lower deck people often report seeing shadows out of the corner of their eye.
• On the top floor some visitors have reported seeing or hearing children crying.

Glendalough monastic Site:

Glendalough has been a place of pilgrimage since the 6th century when St. Kevin lived there as a hermit and ascetic, attracting followers and establishing a monastery there.  Little is known for certain about Kevin, since the many stories we have were first written centuries after his passing. These stories and myths continue to fascinate and offer inspiration today.

St. Laurence O’Toole was abbot in the Glendalough monastery and initiated reform before being appointed Archbishop of Dublin in 1162. It is believed that he remained a monk at heart and returned to Glendalough on retreat frequently.

Charleville Castle:

Located in County Offaly, in the Midlands of Ireland, and bordering the town of Tullamore near the Shannon River, Charleville Castle is situated in Ireland's most ancient primordial oak woods, once the haunting grounds of Ireland's druids.

Charleville Castle grew from paper doodles in early 1798 to grandiose plans by the end of that very eventful year in Ireland. It was built by Charles William Bury, Earl of Charleville and was designed by Francis Johnston, one of the leading architects of the day.

Charleville Castle is said to be the finest example of gothic-revival architecture in the country. This is a veritable Gothic castle of grand proportions. It owes its "Tin Soldier Fortress" look to the celebration of victory over the third French revolutionary expedition to Ireland - the first decisive victory by Britain over the revolutionary republican movement, which was sweeping across the monarchies and their colonies at that time. 

It took fourteen years to complete this gothic dream, a monument not only to a now-forgotten power but also to the people who made it possible, the Irish craftsmen and impoverished people.

Tonight you will investigate the castle's many ghosts.

St John's Castle:

King John's Castle also known as Limerick Castle is a 13th-century castle located on King's Island in Limerick, Ireland, next to the River Shannon. Although the site dates back to 922 when the Vikings lived on the Island, the castle itself was built on the orders of King John of England in 1200. One of the best preserved Norman castles in Europe, the walls, towers and fortifications remain today.

Aillwee Caves:

Expert guides will accompany and inform you during your leisurely tour. The tour consists of a 45-minute stroll through the beautiful caverns – over bridged chasms, under weird formations and alongside the thunderous waterfall which sometimes gently sprays the unsuspecting visitor! Marvel at the frozen waterfall and learn about the now extinct brown bears’ bones (ursos arctos).

The guides will bring you back to the overground world where you can browse and shop in a distinctly different gift shop which is housed in the award-winning complex that guards the entrance to the Burren underground.

Kinvarra Castle:

In the early 17th century the castle passed into the hands of the Martyn’s of Galway.

Richard Martyn, Mayor of Galway lived here until 1642 and the Martyn’s of Tulira Castle, owned the castle until this century.

Halloween Cnámha La Loba (bones of the Wolfes) Parade:

Inspired by the legend of La Loba , a wild Wolf-Woman who wanders the world, collecting the bones of animals, humans and demi-gods that are in danger of being lost to the world and singing them back to life by moonlight.

This artistic parade is created by the theatre group "Macnas" who travel the world with their designs and puppet shows. 

This is am amazing, creative parade to behold.

Day out in Galway.

Galway is a bustling city that you will love exploring. Galway City is a thriving, bohemian, cultural city on the western coast of Ireland. Along with being a popular seaside destination with beautiful beaches and long winding promenade, it also has a buzzing cosmopolitan city centre. The city is a joy to explore with its labyrinthine cobbled streets, colourful shop facades and busy café/ bar culture. The city is also well known for its many festivals throughout the year with huge crowds gathering for the annual  Galway Arts Festival, Races and numerous other events. Old Ireland is present too with turf fires and traditional music featuring in many pubs to compliment your enjoyment of a well earned pint of Guinness. Take an evening stroll along the promenade and watch the sunset over Galway Bay or watch the salmon fishermen in the River Corrib from the perfect vantage point of the Salmon Weir Bridge.

Pat Noone's Fairy Farm:

Fairies, she-wolves and fertility stones: Strange tales from a hidden Ireland,

Pat Noone will welcome you to his farm with a warm Irish welcome, he will bring you on that hallowed ground past the standing stone, the fertility stone down the path to the cairn and then you walk into the fairy field. You will stand at the portal between the hawthorn trees which is where the Fairies come and go. It truly is a magical place and we know you will enjoy it and the stories Pat has to tell.

Leap Castle:

One of the longest continually inhabited Castles in Ireland, Leap Castle has a rich and fascinating history.  Leap Castle is thought to have been built in the early 1500’s by the O’Bannon clan.   The O’Bannon clan were the secondary chieftains under the ruling of the O'Carroll  clan.  The current building is thought to have been built over an earlier castle.  Before that the site was used by Druids for initiation ceremonies.   The castle has been home to much bloodshed and violence over the centuries.

The O’Carrolls were a fierce and brutal people, bent on domination.  They were known for their ruthless tactics, often killing others and each other on the path to supremacy.  The O’Carolls called Leap Castle their home until it was wrenched from their hands in 1642 by an English soldier of the Cromwellian forces named John Darby. 

 The Elemental is one of the most interesting spirits that reside at Leap Castle.  It is an entity that is shrouded in mystery and intrigue.  The first encounter, origin and exact nature of the Elemental are unknown but there are many theories that have circulated over the years. 

Two young girls have also been seen at Leap Castle. Emily & Charlotte. Emily is thought to be aged around 11 or 12 and Charlotte around 6 or 7. They are mainly seen playing in the main hall and running up the stairwell. They are believed to have lived at the castle during the 1600’s and are thought to be the last of the O’Carrolls or the first of the Darbys. These are just two examples of spirits in this place, Sean Ryan will tell you all the stories and his experiences, and he might just play a few tunes for you too.

Rock of Cashel

Set on a dramatic outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale, the Rock of Cashel, iconic in its historic significance, possesses the most impressive cluster of medieval buildings in Ireland. Among the monuments to be found there is a round tower, a high cross, a Romanesque chapel, a Gothic cathedral, an abbey, the Hall of the Vicars Choral and a fifteenth-century Tower House.

Originally the seat of the kings of Munster, according to legend St. Patrick himself came here to convert King Aenghus to Christianity. Brian Boru was crowned High King at Cashel in 978 and made it his capital.

In 1101 the site was granted to the church and Cashel swiftly rose to prominence as one of the most significant centres of ecclesiastical power in the country.

The surviving buildings are remarkable. Cormac’s Chapel, for example, contains the only surviving Romanesque frescoes in Ireland.

The Rock of Cashel is one of Ireland’s most spectacular and – deservedly – most visited tourist attractions.

Re-emerging from the underworld, the 36-foot Dragon made by the hands of the Cork City community will once again prowl the streets escorted by her legion of loyal ghouls, beasts, misfits and spooky creatures to celebrate the ancient tradition of Samhain (Halloween) in a thrilling nighttime parade and Finale Show attracting thousands of spectators, young and old, to Cork City on the 31st of October.

Blarney Castle:

Blarney Castle is a tower house, a type of fortification built by Gaelic lords and the Anglo-Irish between the 15th and 17th centuries. Tower houses are typically four or five storeys tall with one or two main chambers, plus several ancillary chambers on each floor.

Blarney Castle is an unusually large tower house, and it comprises at least two towers – the second one was added in the 1500s. You can see the point the two phases meet as a vertical line in the masonry on the north elevation.

The walls are 18 feet thick at the base, gradually sloping inwards as they rise. This makes the building more stable but would also have helped with defence: when an object was dropped from the top it would bounce off the wall on the way down and fly outwards into the enemy.

Charles Fort:

Charles Fort is a trace italienne fortification, a bastion fort with one section of the outer wall built in star fashion. It is located at the southern end of the village of Summer Cove, on Kinsale harbour, County Cork, Ireland. First completed in 1682, Charles Fort was sometimes historically referred to as the "new fort" - to contrast with James' Fort which had been built on the other side of Kinsale harbour before 1607.

Drombeg Stone Circle:

The Stone circle originally consisted of seventeen closely spaced stones of which 13 survive. The stones are made from local sandstone. The circle spans 9.3 metres (31 ft) in diameter. As an axial or "Cork–Kerry" stone circle, it contains two taller entrance stones placed opposite a recumbent axial stone. Its axis is orientated south west towards the setting sun.

The most westerly stone (1.9m long) is the long recumbent and has two egg shaped cup-marks, one with a ring around it. An axial stone circle, also known as a "Cork–Kerry type" stone circle, it is flanked by a pair of 1.8m high axial portal stones, which mark the entrance to the stone circle, and face the recumbent altar stone. ] This arrangement creates a south-west axis, and orients the monument in the direction of the setting sun during the midwinter solstice. 

Cahir Castle:

Cahir Castle is one of Ireland’s largest and best-preserved castles. It stands proudly on a rocky island on the River Suir.

The castle was was built in the thirteenth century and served as the stronghold of the powerful Butler family. So effective was its design that it was believed to be impregnable, but it finally fell to the earl of Essex in 1599 when heavy artillery was used against it for the first time. During the Irish Confederate Wars it was besieged twice more.

At the time of building, Cahir Castle was at the cutting edge of defensive castle design and much of the original structure remains.

After an exhilarate evening and a good Irish breakfast, we head to Ireland’s wild ancient west!

We set our compass to take us toward  Galway , considered to be one of Ireland’s most artistic communities.

A spooky Halloween supper

Halloween isn't your typical celebration. And, it turns out, Halloween food isn't exactly “normal” either.

Can’t make it to the island of Ireland for Halloween? Don’t worry, you can recreate the magic of the Halloween season from the comfort of home, no matter where you are in the world.

First off, you’ll want some barmbrack. This bread/cake is a staple of every Irish household at Halloween. And a note to any young romantics in your family – if they find the ring in the cake, they’ll be married within the year! And for your dinner, you must have colcannon – curly kale cabbage mixed with creamy mashed potatoes.

After dinner and before trick or treating, you have to partake in some of the traditional Halloween games. The most famous is snap apple, where an apple is suspended from a string while the blindfolded revellers try to get a bite. You can also try bobbing for apples in water, just be sure to bring a towel!

This family-friendly attraction in County Down is holding a pumpkin-picking event this year. Families are invited to visit the pumpkin patch where they can choose their own pumpkin for carving. Visitors are invited to enjoy the attractions once their pumpkin has been carved.

The Jungle, Derry

The Jungle in County Derry is holding two Halloween events.

The first is a family-friendly affair with pumpkin picking and carving, a haunted haycart ride, maize maze , and more. Children’s tickets include a token for a pumpkin and four additional tokens to use for the other activities. Pre-booking is essential and can be done via the website .

The other event they are holding is Fright Night. Taking place across 11 nights in October, this one is for the teens and adults. This Trail of Terror, for those who dare to try it, takes place in the forest with a Woodland Trail with 6 scare attractions. There is also a horror house, Circus Scare attraction, cornfield, and more.

All of the Fright Night events take place from 7pm and children between 12 and 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Railway Preservation Society of Ireland, Whitehead Station, Antrim

There are two Halloween events taking place at Hillsborough Castle this year. The first is a family-friendly Scarecrow Parade in the Walled Gardens where you can see scarecrows created by local schools and groups.

The second event is a night-time event called the Grimm Tales and Scarecrow Trails in the gardens of Hillsborough Castle.

Hillsborough Castle’s Scarecrows have come alive and been possessed by mischievous characters from the Grimm fairy tales that have crossed through the veil to our world…

This year Secret Valley Wildlife Park in County Wexford are holding a Halloween event called the Fall Fest to celebrate all things Autumn and Halloween. There will be a giant corn maze, a scarecrow village, pumpkin picking patch, tractor-trailer ride and so much more! 

Children will be greeted with a ‘survival pack’ and packages are available which include entry to the wildlife park and the “scare crow valley”. Packages available include

Emerald Park, Meath

If you are looking for somewhere great to celebrate Halloween in Ireland, then consider heading to Emerald Park (formerly Tayto Park). With two Halloween events usually held annually, children will love (depending on how tall they are). There is normally lots going on at Emerald Park during spooky season.

Firstly, there is a Tricky Trail suitable for the whole family which involves a spooky treasure trail around the park taking in haunted halls, a hay bale maze, and more to delight everyone.

The second Halloween event at Emerald Park this season is the After Dark event, suitable only for kids over a height of 1.2m. This NO scare event involves riding your favourite attractions at night.

Luggwoods, Dublin

If you are spending Halloween in Dublin, then head to Luggwoods for their special Hooky Spooky Halloween event, taking place during the nine days leading up to Halloween night.

Enter the forest trail and search for ingredients for a witches’ brew, helped by special Halloween characters. Visitors can also enter the pumpkin patch and pick their own to take home to carve.

If you are based in or near Kildare and have been wondering “are there family Halloween events near me?”, then check out Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park. Their annual Halloween Happenings event takes place over nine days leading up to the main day itself and just beyond.

Visitors can expect a terror train ride (not suitable for younger children), a spooky treasure hunt, and more freaky fun throughout the park. Facilities at the park include parking, toilets, and a café/picnic area.

The Nightmare Realm, Dublin

This award-winning Halloween event is back in 2023 at the same venue as last year. This immersive walk-through horror maze is not for the feint hearted. Expect to be pushed out of your comfort zone as you tetter on the edge between excitement and fear. Note that is event is recommended for those over the age of 13.

Clissmann Horse Caravans & Glamping, Wicklow

Clissmann Horse Caravans, one of the best places to go glamping in Wicklow , is holding a Halloween event this year. They have a pumpkin patch where visitors can use a wheelbarrow or donkey to visit the patch and pick their own pumpkin for carving. With spooky farm trails, ghostly games, and more, if you are based in Wicklow and have been wondering “are there any Halloween events around me?”, then wonder no more.

Hidden Valley, one of the best Wicklow glamping sites , is holding a Monster Mash this Halloween. Taking place during the four days leading to Halloween night, these events are only open to those staying at Hidden Valley. Get your fancy dress, decorate your pitch or accommodation and enjoy a bonfire, Halloween dance, and more during the festivities. Prizes are on offer for best dressed, best pet costume, and more.

Note, you must be staying at Hidden Valley to enjoy the Monster Mash but pre-booking of these events is not necessary. More information can be found on the website .

Land of Light, Westmeath (Not running before Halloween in 2023)

Address : Belvedere House, Gardens & Park, Co. Westmeath

If you are looking for alternative Halloween events for children, or just for adults, then why not head to the Land of Light at the Belvedere House in County Westmeath.

In 2021, this event was running every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the weekend before Halloween to the weekend before Christmas, and you could expect to be wowed as you wander through the forest trail. Trees, buildings, and the night sky are lit by a spectacular light show with plenty more going on. However, in 2022, this event is not running in October and starts midway in November.

Visitor facilities include toilets, parking, and on-site catering. The event is not happening prior to Halloween this year, but for more information, visit the website .

Andean Alpacas, Westmeath TBC

If you are looking for a family-friendly Halloween experience in Ireland, then head to Andean Alpacas in County Westmeath. They are holding a pumpkin carving experience event over 6 days where visitors can enter the Broomstick Run, visit the Haunted House, pick and carve their own pumpkin, and meet the alpacas too, an event that took place last year.

Head to Long Acre Alpacas if you are in County Louth during Halloween weekend for their family-friendly Halloween event. Pick your own pumpkin and get the monsters to help you carve it. There will be other activities including face painting for kids (young and old), and you can meet the alpacas.

Rathwood in Carlow, home to one of the best Santa trains in Ireland , is holding a Halloween train event this October. Hop on board the Rathwood Express and enjoy a Spooktacular Pumpkin Train Adventure before enjoying the Rathwood Halloween Pantomime. Travel through the spooky forest and arrive at the Big Top to see “The Witches Of Rathwood” musical show.

Belvedere House is holding a Halloween Treasure Trails event this October for three days. This ticketed-event lasts for 50 minutes and suitable for all age groups. Visitors will get a map to follow. 5 terrifying haunts spread over 100 acres of Fear. Causey Farm

From Zombies, a scary Carnival, a murder maze, and purge night, you will be thrilled, entertained, and frightened, all at the same time. This second event takes place on various dates throughout October.

Nore Valley Park, Kilkenny

If you are based in Kilkenny or the surrounding areas, then head to Nore Valley Park for some Halloween fun this year. During select dates in October, there are fun Halloween events taking place.

Firstly, enjoy a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own and visit the animals on select weekends in October.

The second Halloween event includes a scare maze (for the over 8’s), bonfire, and torchlight treasure hunts. Members of the public can attend these events and adult campers to Nore Valley during the week leading to Halloween get free entry to these evening Halloween events.
