Concert started 3 hours after original schedule time & it only lasted about an hour and a half. The general admission tickets were cheap but it was for a reason. I wish Kevin gave a little more! 😩

I know Kevin gates along with other entertainers give us all they can but to show up 3 hrs late to only preform one hour on a Thursday night was crazy. There was ppl who traveled to see him that didn’t even stay because of the lack of crowd control.

Showed up late

I loved the concert venue. However, Kevin Gates didn't show up until almost 10:20 at a show that started at 8pm. I know openers usually take a while but I didn't expect the main act to be over 2 hours late. Otherwise the music was good.

An Experience!

It was an experience to say the least. He definitely is interactive with the crowd and stuck to his word about giving us an experience we wouldn’t forget.

Doors opened up at 7pm, Kevin Gates didn’t come out until 10pm. No opener. DJ Chose came out briefly (under 30 min) and they continued to look the same soundtrack while waiting. Kevin Gates finally came out and was absolutely amazing until his music blew the speakers and needed up waiting four hours to see Kevin for only one hour

It was amazing! And look forward to going to another concert to see him!

Hip hop heavyweight Kevin Gates has announced a return to the road in 2024 supporting his brand new album 'The Ceremony' . The 11-city tour kicks off March 23rd in San Angelo and stretches into May making additional stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Silver Spring, Chicago, Mobile, Birmingham and Knoxville. The new outing follows up 2023's Only The Generals Tour which was joined by special guests BigXthaPlug and DJ Chose.

Gates released his fourth studio album 'The Ceremony' on January 26th, 2024 via Atlantic Records and his own Bread Winners' Alumni label. His previous 2022 album 'Khaza' reached #2 on Billboard's Rap chart and features a guest appearance by Juicy J on the track 'Thinking with My D**k' . The prior year, the Louisiana-based rapper launched his Khaza Tour across America along with support from DDG and Gang51e June. Back in 2019, his I’m Him Tour was joined by YK Osiris , Rod Wave and SDot Fresh.

Multi-platinum rapper Kevin Gates has just announced his new “The Ceremony” headlining tour. The tour will be in support of his latest album, The Ceremony , which was released this past Friday via Atlantic Records.

Gates will kick off the tour on Saturday, March 23rd in San Angelo, Texas and make stops in Los Angeles, Boston, New York City, Chicago, and more before wrapping up on May 11th in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Earlier this year, Kevin Gates dropped his fourth studio album, "The Ceremony." During his tour stop in Boston, he sat down with us to share more insight on the inspirations behind his music and his evolution as an artist.

He also gave us a look at his very own coffee brand.

NBC10 Boston: Thank you so much for being with us, giving us some time for the stop on your tour, The Ceremony here in Boston, right after the show. How do you feel?

Kevin Gates: I feel pure. Pure. My stomach is empty but I'm full of love. So I'm not hungry. I'm full.

That perfectly ties into my next question: You are performing during the holy month of Ramadan. I can't imagine the physical and emotional stamina it takes to go on tour, travel, perform. How do you manage to do that?

It's not me, it's God. This strength that I have, I ask God, "Give me your holy divine strength, your holy divine focus, your holy divine stamina, your holy divine determination. Let it be you they see and not me."

"The Ceremony," the album — what inspired the name?

It was the re-uniting of myself. I learned to love again a stranger that was once myself. I had to really realize that the external things don't add value. It was the ceremony. it was beautiful. It was a celebration of me coming back in and starting to honor myself, loving myself the right way.

You mentioned being a stranger to yourself while you were while you were writing. What did you unpack about that stranger that you were reuniting with?

You have to go get "The Ceremony" album to see, but it was complete vulnerability for everybody to have never been through things in life. A lot of times, you know the artist is a superhero, it's a façade. I used to conduct myself in that manner. It's a façade. I was operating out of ego and fear. But the death of the ego allowed me to be vulnerable and transparent. And when I really became transparent, I started exhibiting vulnerability.

[During the performance in Boston] you brought a woman on stage...at the end, you gave the fan flowers, which I thought was really beautiful. What was behind that?

If nobody ever gave you your flowers I just want you to know, you're appreciated over here. These people came out in the rain to see me. That's a blessing.

Then he stepped to the first tee, striped it down the fairway and hit an 8-iron onto the green to set up birdie. And while he just parred 13 before darkness ended his round, he was still at one under with five holes to go. He made some ridiculously hard up and downs look simple. His distance control was superb. He didn’t look like a guy who is rusty. They say you can’t win the Masters on Thursday, but you can lose it. It might still be a long shot that Tiger gets green jacket No. 6, but he hasn’t yet lost this Masters and he’s in very good position to make his record-breaking 24th consecutive cut.

Zephyr Melton, assistant editor ( @zephyrmelton ): I gotta go with Bryson DeChambeau’s sparkling 65. He’s flown under the radar a bit since joining LIV (at least compared to his PGA Tour days), but on Thursday he was in rare form. He opened with three straight birdies, and closed with a trio as well as he posted his career low round at Augusta National. Bryson has never played particularly well at Augusta (his low finish came as an amateur) but Thursday may well have been a turning point. If so, there’s no reason not to believe the former U.S. Open winner won’t be a factor come Sunday.

The 2021 winner came into the event in great form with a win and three top-12s in his last four starts, and he was on many short lists to win this year. But after an opening-round four-over 76, he might’ve dug a hole too deep a hole to recover from.   

Ryan Barath, senior equipment editor ( @rdsbarath ): Beyond Bryson coming out of blazing, I agree with Jess that seeing Hideki come out flat was shocking. With the windy conditions and his ball-striking ability, I expected him to be contending at the start of the day. Also, seeing Tiger come out and stalk his way around Augusta National until the sun went down was equal parts surprising and awesome. Here’s to hoping he can keep it up.

Josh Sens, senior writer ( @joshsens ): Scottie Scheffler’s second shot on 13 hanging on the bank of the creek and staying dry was surprising, and unfair. He is too good to need a good break. Otherwise, I think my colleagues have the big surprises fairly well covered. Brooks Koepka still has the par 5s on the second side to play, so there’s still a chance to get it into red, but I was expecting more of a statement from him out of the box. And then there’s Danny Willett, emerging from hibernation to go four under. These things happen in opening rounds, though. The real surprise will be if Willett stays in contention.

Nick Piastowski, senior editor ( @nickpia ): All good thoughts, friends! Let’s add Nicolai Hojgaard to the mix. He’s five under through 15. In BREEZY conditions. And as a Masters rook. Does he hold up? History says probably not. But it’ll be fun to watch, and he’s got loads of game.

Additional Goose Tour Dates in 2024 Includes Two Nights At SPAC

Goose has announced more headlining 2024 show dates which includes two nights at SPAC. The newly announced run will begin in NJ at Holmdel’s PNC Bank Arts Center on September 1 and the following week will see the band returning to SPAC for two shows on September 6 and 7. This summer and fall will be the first extensive touring Goose will be doing with their new drummer Cotter Ellis.

The new slate of fall shows will see Goose hit the Midwest and then the West Coast, with the tour concluding on September 28 in Stanford, CA at Frost Amphitheater. This comes after an extensive June schedule of shows that includes stops in St. Louis, Atlanta, and New York City before concluding with a hometown show at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT. Goose is also set to play the SolShine Festival in Chillicothe, IL this Memorial Day Weekend. See below for a full listing of upcoming shows.

The September tour ticket pre-sale lottery for all newly announced Goose dates is currently underway and will continue through Saturday, April 6, at 5pm ET. Listening to your favorite musician at home is fun, but there's nothing quite like the experience of singing along with them, and tons of more fans, live. And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.

Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

1) Taylor Swift

Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.

There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.

2) Olivia Rodrigo

This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.

3) Red Hot Chili Peppers

Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.

4) Bad Bunny

It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.

5) Billy Joel

If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.

Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.

There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.

8) Bleachers

The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. 9) Nicki Minaj

Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.

10) Blink 182

Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.

11) Stevie Nicks

The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.

12) The 1975

The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.

13) Drake and J. Cole

Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.

14) Janet Jackson

Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.

15) Rolling Stones

If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.

16) Bruce Springsteen

Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.

17) John Mayer

Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.

18) Shania Twain

Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.

All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.

20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour

Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.

Little Big Town is ringing in their 25th anniversary in style.

The jubilant country group just announced their ‘Take Me Home Tour’ that will take them to arenas all over North America with special guests Sugarland and The Castellows from October through December.

Along the way, the “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” band is scheduled to drop into Buffalo’s KeyBank Center on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Before that, the Grammy winners hit stadiums with George Strait and Chris Stapleton this summer.

That includes a stop at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 8 for the trio.

They’ll also headline at Santa Rosa, CA’s Country Summer Festival and play a handful of gigs overseas.

For fans that can’t wait to sing along to “Girl Crush,” “Boondocks,” “Pontoon” and more, tickets can be secured for all North American Little Big Town concerts as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, April 12, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

I sold my tickets because Five Points amphitheatre is the worst venue I have ever been to. The only time I have enjoyed a show there is when buying VIP front and Center seats and even then there security is the worst. Last show the people I knew from the meet and greet with Foreigner spent between 900 and 2000 for a paid of tickets yet when I walked down to the stage Indis not get stopped once and asked for my ticket. I learned against the rail against the stage with the aisle behind me and never was told to leave the area and neither was anyone who paid $49 for baxkrow seats. When you sit in the upper section, meaning 300's, there is no security, the seats are temporary, and its a bit more cramped then the airlines. Of someone moves, the entire section moves, and the entire row has to clear the row because it is impossible to get buy. Of anything happens in the upper sections, which is very possible seeing that everytime you get to your seat you have to ask someone who doesnt belong there to move. And when I sat 2nd row, I had at least 10 different neighbors from people climbing over the seats. With such

The Athens State Orchestra did not manage to see, except the last song - the one with Shenker - as I was entering the stadium, because, even though I had the most expensive VIP ticket (with numbered seat), I - among most of the crowd - could not enter, since there where NO lines, NOONE from the production company, NO security to help and guide us. As a result, the concert began as sceduled, at 21:00 sharp ad all of us were outside trying - I got pushed over, squeezed etc - to get in. Because of that - the entrance delay - they did not check our tickets (nobody was at the gates any way) so whoever wanted to enter the stadium - with NO ticket - could by all means enter. When entered the stadium there were AGAIN nobody to escort or show us to our seats, with limited lighting, and when we FINALLY found our seats there were people seating already refusing to get up - since they told us that people from the organisation told them to seat WHEREVER they wished, since there was no time to seat them and obviously without entry control we were outnumbered - and spend about 30 minutes trying to convince them for the obvious: to get up and let us seat on our NUMBERED seats, while searching for SOMEONE from the production company to assist. The stairs were full of people (this is against safety policy) and I managed to get down to arena after stepping on hands (it was dark as I mentioned earlier) to find someone in charge....NOONE, only one security guy who wasn't authorised to help with the situation and finally a "staff" who told me that he was a driver and would try to find someone to assist. They had NO CBs to intercommunicate and were running up and down to find whomever they were searching for. Finally, the paramedics, also had NO CBs and as we saw a girl in distress form above we were trying to communicate through signals that they should speed to the spot. The production company - I've never heard of them in Greece - are plain potential murderers.

The show of the concert was great, but we didn't really see the collusion of the band with the symphonic orchestra. The orchestra came, played their part, and after that we never saw them again. The sould could be better. The legendary Scorpions gave it all though. They made as feel good and they carried as away!

The organization was not good. Two small entrances for sooo many people. That lead to huge queues. I felt there was not so much security, during the check of the tickets.

It was great seeing Kallimarmaro full, from people who came to enjoy Scorpions!

Great experience. Could be much better.

Killer Mike Announces 2024 Tour Dates

Killer Mike has announced North American tour dates behind his latest solo album, Michael . The rapper’s Down by Law Tour kicks off May 4 in Memphis and winds through Washington D.C., Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Denver, and additional cities, before closing out in Los Angeles on October 15. Killer Mike will be joined by his choir the Midnight Revival throughout the trek. The Shane Smith –directed visual for “Exit 9” features Atlanta landmarks like the Cascade roller rink and the Blue Flame Lounge gentleman’s club, as well as a cameo from Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens.

Michael , which came out last June, marked Killer Mike’s first solo full-length in 11 years. The album earned him three Grammy Awards at this year’s ceremony; the Atlanta rapper won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for the Michael track “ Scientists & Engineers ,” while the LP took home Best Rap Album. The “Exit 9” clip concludes with audio from Killer Mike’s Best Rap Album Grammy acceptance speech.

Following Killer Mike’s Grammys sweep, he was arrested at Crypto.com Arena and booked for misdemeanor battery. A security guard allegedly called for a citizen’s arrest, claiming Mike injured her while trying to go through the wrong entrance inside the venue. “As you can imagine, there was a lot going and there was some confusion around which door my team and I should enter,” Killer Mike later explained . “We experienced an over-zealous security guard but my team and I have the upmost confidence that I will ultimately be cleared of all wrongdoing.”

Killer Mike recently performed “Exit 9” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert , backed by the Midnight Revival and DJ Trackstar.
