How to write the script for my tour?

A free walking tour is like a play: each word is of vital importance to transmit your speech in the best way and touch the emotions of your travelers. In this post, we will explain how to create an amazing script, which will be the bible of your journey. It will allow you to choose the best content in order to create an incredible experience and receive lots of money.

Before creating the tour script

Before starting to write the script, you should be aware of at least these 2 elements:

• Make sure to have identified all the places of interest (ex: town hall) and topics (ex: gastronomy) that you want to introduce throughout the tour.
• Make sure to have ordered all the places and topics to create your tour itinerary , taking into account a coherent structure and the shortest distance between each stop (max. 2-3 minutes).

1. Create a great introduction

Think about it as if it were the first few minutes of a movie or the first pages of a book. You have to create the “WOW” effect.

Your tour introduction has several goals:

In many cases, travelers have already read part of the story before joining the tour in their travel guide or online but it’s important to explain it as travelers expect it and to put everything in context. It can be both the history of a building or monument, as well as the history related to a topic (specific period, important social movement, gastronomy, …).
• Anecdotes and curious legends: that’s what makes the difference for travelers and what they will remember, since it’s usually something that surprises them and that they don’t usually know about. It touches travelers’ emotions and keeps their attention. This kind of content is usually explained after the historical context.
• Customs and recommendations: Travelers who participate in a free walking tour don’t just want to listen to stories. They also want to be able to understand the city as a local, live as a local and go to places that are not as touristy. That’s why it’s important to include some local customs and personal recommendations in your tour.

You can balance the content both from one spot to another and within the same explanation of the place! (Ex: have a moment to talk just about recommendations or include recommendations after an historical overview). 

3. Find the content and write the tour script

Now that you know the type of content you need, it’s time to search for it.

There is no miracle , you will have to read a lot, watch many documentaries, visit many places, talk to the tourist office, experts … and that takes a while.

While doing this research, also consider the following things:

• Keep only the most essential and relevant information: you can talk for hours about some places, so it’s important to select only the most interesting part for the traveler. 
• Open your search beyond the content of the tour: If you read more than the content of your tour, you’ll be able to show to travelers that you are a true professional by answering all their doubts, which often go beyond what you explain on the tour.
• Verify the data: you can’t trust just one single source of information. Cross-check the data to ensure your script’s content is reliable.
• Write in an understandable way for everyone: sometimes travelers don’t know anything about the topics you are dealing with on your tour, so you have to explain it in a simple and clear way and avoid technical words.
• Think of practical information: free walking tours give travelers a general overview of what the city can offer, so they can then visit some places on their own. That’s why it’s important to know the practical information of the most important places in your city and to include them in your tour: opening hours, ticket prices, how to get there, …

4. Think of the best way to explain your stop

Just as you did by selecting the type of content for your tour, you must also balance the different ways of transmitting this content, which will create a much more enjoyable experience.

Maybe you can explain a personal story, or perform a historical event with travelers, even teach them how to prepare a traditional recipe, or make a quiz … You can find more information on this topic by consulting this post on how to create a more interactive tour and in this post on how to create amazing explanations .

5. Create natural transitions in your itinerary

Maintaining the logic between your explanations can be achieved when you have good transitions, because it gives a common thread to the whole tour. Your experience is not just going from one place to another, you have to see it as a set where each explanation tells a story that supports the overall idea of ​​your experience, like a movie with different scenes.

Good transitions allow travelers to better remember key facts and will help make the journey more meaningful. It also helps you memorize your speech better and will keep travelers interested to follow the whole tour.

You have to add these transitions at the end of the stop or when starting the next one. It can also serve to get travelers’ attention and surprise them, as we explain in this post .

6. End the tour with style

The final part of the tour has to be the cherry on top. Like a good movie, the final part is essential and will be the last impression travelers get before paying you. It’s important to make an emotional ending , so travelers realize how awesome this experience has been with you.

Many gurus achieve this by choosing a very special place to end their tour, such as a vantage point with a spectacular view of the city. Others choose a site that is relevant to the common thread of their tour, because of the history of that place.

What is usually said at the end:

• Summarize the most important elements of the tour , show travelers that the experience was amazing and that they have learned a lot with you.
• Give options on things to do after the tour.
• Remember that they will receive an automatic email from GuruWalk to leave a review on your profile and explain why it’s so important they do so (it allows you to get more bookings).
• Thank them and wish them a good stay.

If they give you an applause, it means that the tour and its ending have been a success. 

7. Control time, practice and improve the tour script

Remember, the best free walking tours last between 2 and 3 hours. Shorter than that, travelers will feel that the experience was not complete and longer, you will tire them out too much and they will end up bored.

With Google Maps, you can approximate the time you will need to walk. In this example of an itinerary in Brussels, which is a 2-hour tour, you walk about 40 minutes, leaving 1h20 to tell stories. Only the main stops are represented there, but there are about 10 stops, which makes 10 minutes per stop, taking into account that the first stop is usually longer, so it’s fine.

So, you can put a timer so that each stop on your script is no more than 10 minutes. It is not an absolute rule. There are places that require more time and others less.

Now that you’ve added or removed content from the tour script, it’s time to practice it at home and learn it well.

Once you have it ready, practice it with a friend or family member in real conditions. This person can also give you valuable feedback to improve your speech. Look at the time before starting the tour and halfway through the tour, verify your progress at the halfway point to make sure you are on target. If not, you will have to add or remove content.

You have to constantly review your tour script . With practice, you will realize what is more or less interesting to travelers.

However, keep in mind that the speed of the group is always different. So you have to identify less important explanations or places that you could skip or add to meet the duration of the tour.

It’s important to memorize the tour script perfectly. In front of the group of travelers, you can’t doubt or read something from a notebook. Otherwise, you may lose all your credibility (and money… ).

I am really sorry for not being able to write to you last week as my pre-board examination preparation tests session was undergoing. The excursion trip will be leaving on 15 January and will return on 19 January, under the kind guidance, and surveillance of staff teachers, and the Coordinator.

Tourism geography is the study of travel and tourism, as an industry and as a social and cultural activity. Tourism geography covers a wide range of interests including the environmental impact of tourism, the geographies of tourism and leisure economies, answering tourism industry and management concerns and the sociology of tourism and locations of tourism. Tourism geography is that branch of science which deals with the study of travel and its impact on places. Geography is fundamental to the study of tourism, because tourism is geographical in nature. Tourism occurs in places, it involves movement and activities between places and it is an activity in which both place characteristics and personal self-identities are formed, through the relationships that are created among places, landscapes and people. Physical geography provides the essential background, against which tourism places are created and environmental impacts and concerns are major issues that must be considered in managing the development of tourism places. The approaches to study will differ according to the varying concerns. Much tourism management literature remains quantitative in methodology and considers tourism as consisting of the places of tourist origin (or tourist generating areas), tourist destinations (or places of tourism supply) and the relationship (connections) between origin and destination places, which includes transportation routes, business relationships and traveler motivations. [1] Recent developments in Human geography have resulted in approaches such as those from cultural geography, which take more theoretically diverse approaches to tourism, including a sociology of tourism, which extends beyond tourism as an isolated, exceptional activity and considering how travel fits into the everyday lives and how tourism is not only a consumptive of places, but also produces the sense of place at a destination. [2] The Tourist by Dean McConnell and The Tourist Gaze by John Urry are classics in this field.

D-Day Hero Thomas Meehan’s Letters

Lt. Meehan was a commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during World War II. He was killed on D-Day when the aircraft he was aboard was shot down by ground fire.

If you have watched the epic HBO miniseries Band of Brothers , which Dr. Ambrose executive-produced and was based on his best-selling book by the same name, you will remember that Meehan was portrayed in the series. At the start of the D-Day invasion several members of Easy Company landed in and around Ste-Mere-Eglise, France, including Richard Winters, Carwood Lipton and Bill Guarnere. This is where Dick Winters took command after Lt. Meehan’s tragic death.

From the “Prologue” of Beyond Band of Brothers: The Memoirs of Major Dick Winters by Dick Winters, Cole C. Kingseed:

“As jumpmaster for my plane, I stood up and hooked up my static line, went to the door, and had a look.  I could see the planes in front and behind us in V of V formation, nine abreast.  They seemed to fill the air; their power filled the sky.  Then I looked at the English Channel and I could see this vast magnitude of ships of all sizes, steaming in the same direction that we were going—the Normandy peninsula.

. . . . We passed those two islands offshore [Channel Islands, Guernsey and Jersey]; all water, nice formation, no fire yet.  Then we were over land.  Standing in the door, I could see the antiaircraft fire, and as we approached what turned out to be Ste. Mere-Eglise, I observed a big barn burning, as well as the landing lights that had been set up by the pathfinders. As the Germans illuminated the night with searchlights and antiaircraft fire, the pilots naturally began taking evasive action.  We came in too fast and too low.  I did not realize at the time, but the plane carrying Lieutenant Meehan was hit and plunged toward the earth, killing Easy Company’s entire headquarters section save myself.” 

D-Day Hero Thomas Meehan – Backstory

As noted in Wikipedia:

As After serving in Company “B” (Baker) after arriving in the United Kingdom, Meehan transferred to Company “E” (Easy) to replace Captain Herbert Sobel, who had been transferred to command a parachute training school for non-combat officers.

Lt Meehan and the 16 members of Easy Company’s HQ Section flew to Normandy aboard a C-47 Skytrain of the 439th Troop Carrier Command, one of thirty-six forming Serial 12 of Mission Albany, and was headed for Drop Zone C (1 mile West of Sainte Marie-du-Mont).

The aircraft was hit by German anti-aircraft fire. An eyewitness in another aircraft said “the plane left the formation and slowly initiated a right turn. I followed it with my eyes and noticed its landing lights coming on, I thought it was going to be all right. Then, suddenly, it came crashing down [into] a hedgerow and instantly exploded.” The plane crashed near the village of Beuzeville-au-Plain (approximately 2 miles northeast of the town of Sainte-Mère-Église), killing the crew and the paratroopers aboard, including Company “E”‘s entire company headquarters group. The wreckage of the plane wasn’t confirmed found until the early 1950s; until that time he and all the men on the plane were declared missing in action. A memorial was later erected near the site.

Before takeoff, Meehan wrote a letter and handed it out the door of the C-47 to be sent to his wife.

Sedona Heritage Museum announces return of Oak Creek Canyon history tours

The Sedona Heritage Museum announced the return of its Oak Creek Canyon guided history tours.

Tour attendees will ride in a coach up and down Oak Creek Canyon, led by a Sedona Heritage Museum guide, stopping at historical sites scattered throughout the canyon. Roughly 20 historic sites are included on the tour. Some of the sites will be pointed out from the coach while others will invite attendees to exit the coach and explore the site.

Some of the stops include Slide Rock State Park, site of the Pendley family orchards; the Purtymun family’s Cave Springs kitchen; the Thompson springhouse; and the Forest Houses Resort, where the notorious Stopwatch Gang was apprehended after a run of thefts that made them the most successful bank robbers in history.

Attendees will receive a program with photos of the sites.

Tours leave each day from the Sedona Heritage Museum’s lower parking lot at 2 p.m., with the coach returning at approximately 5 p.m. pending traffic.

Tickets are available by calling the Sedona Heritage Museum or stopping by the museum's store. Tickets are $85 for the general public, while Sedona Historical Society members receive discounted tickets for $75. Tickets are limited, so those interested should purchase them early to ensure their spot on the tour.

The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona. The museum is open daily 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information call (928) 282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org .

Nelson Historical Society homes tour set for April 27

The Nelson County Historic Homes and Properties Tour will be held on April from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Block Tour Tickets are $20 for all four properties and are available on the day of the tour at each of the properties and in advance at Oakland Museum, 5365 Thomas Nelson Hwy near Colleen on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oakland does accept credit cards. The other homes do not.

The tour includes Oakland Museum, owned by the Nelson County Historical Society; Red Hill Bed and Breakfast at 294 Freshwater Cove Rd. Lovingston, owned by Herbert Kerschbaumer; Fortune’s Cove Home and Upper House at 2029 Fortune’s Cove Lane, Lovingston, owned by Cindy and Jim Brewer; and, Old Church at 667 Front St., Lovingston, owned by Libby Whitley.

Tour sites do not have to be visited in the order listed. A map of the properties is available at Oakland Museum and at www.nelsonhistorical.org . All the homes have been restored and repurposed. All proceeds from the tour go to the Nelson County Historical Society to further its programs and projects.

By the numbers: Statistics confirm Scottie Scheffler's historical dominance

Is impending fatherhood the only thing stopping Scottie Scheffler? Quite possibly.

His historic run continued Monday when he completed his victory at the RBC Heritage. It was his fourth win in his past five starts, a run that also included victories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, THE PLAYERS Championship and the Masters. The only exception was a runner-up finish at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, where he missed a 6-footer to join Stephan Jaeger in a playoff.

Scottie Scheffler’s Round 4 highlights From RBC Heritage

Scheffler has seemed invincible lately, and the statistics confirm that. Here’s a closer look at some of the key stats that put Scheffler’s historic play into perspective:

• By winning at Harbour Town Golf Links, Scheffler became the first player since Bernhard Langer in 1985 to win the RBC Heritage one week after winning the Masters .
• Scheffler is the first player since Tiger Woods in 2006 to win the week after winning a major .
• With four wins and a runner-up in his past five starts, Scheffler is the first player since Woods in 2007-08 to have five consecutive top-two finishes . Vijay Singh is the only other player to have such a run in the past 30 years (2004).
• This was Scheffler’s 10th PGA TOUR victory, coming in just his 51st start since he earned his first win at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open. Only David Duval has needed fewer starts after his first win to reach victory No. 10. Duval did it in 33 starts. Tiger Woods is third on the list with 59 starts.
• In his 51 starts since the 2022 WM Phoenix Open, Scheffler also has 23 top-three finishes (45%) and 35 top-10s (68.6%).
• All 10 of Scheffler’s wins have come since the start of the 2021-22 season. He is the first player to win 10 (or more) times on the PGA TOUR in the span of three seasons since Dustin Johnson won 10 titles between 2015-16 and 2017-18.
• This is Scheffler’s fourth win of the season, matching his career-high from 2022. He is the fourth player with multiple four-win seasons since the start of 2000 , joining Woods (10), Singh, (3) and Phil Mickelson (2).
• Scheffler has now recorded 40 consecutive TOUR rounds at par or better , a streak that began in the final round of the 2023 TOUR Championship. He’s 12 back of Woods’ all-time TOUR mark of 52 straight rounds at par or better (set across 2000-01).
• In each of Scheffler’s last seven victories, eight or more of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking have been in the field . His most recent run of four wins in five starts has included two Signature Events (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, RBC Heritage), THE PLAYERS and the Masters.
• Scheffler is averaging 5.38 birdies per round this season, on pace to set the all-time TOUR record for single-season birdie average (since the statistic was first tracked in 1980) . Woods set the current record (4.92) in 2020.
• In his 39 rounds this season, he has outperformed the field average 35 times . He’s been at least a shot better than the field 30 times, at least two shots better 26 times and at least three shots better 19 times.
• Scheffler leads the TOUR in Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green by nearly a shot per round this season , after finishing atop the category by more than two-thirds of a stroke per round last season. No player had previously led the category by more than four-tenths of a stroke per round since Woods in 2009.

Scottie Scheffler’s historic PGA Tour run continues at RBC Heritage

S cottie Scheffler continued his dominant run on the PGA Tour with a weather-delayed victory at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links on Monday.

One week after solidifying his historic reign over men’s golf at the Masters, Scheffler shot a 19-under in Hilton Head, South Carolina, to win the Signature Event.

The world no. 1 has four wins in his last five PGA Tour starts. In March, he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a signature event, and the Players Championship. (At the Valero Texas Open, Scheffler’s putt to force a playoff lipped out . He finished T2.)

Scheffler, who didn’t play the Harbour Town back-nine before his first round, opened the tournament with a ho-hum 69. Inevitably, though, he surged past a field that included 28 of the top 30 players in the world with a 65 on Friday and 63 on Saturday.

Scheffler carried a five-shot lead into Monday with three holes left to play. In the end, his final round 68 was enough to stave off Sahith Theegala (-16), Wyndham Clark (-15), and Patrick Cantlay (-15). Justin Thomas, J.T. Poston, Patrick Rodgers, and Sepp Straka finished T5 at 14-under.

“I didn’t show up here just to have some sort of ceremony and have people tell me congratulations,” said Scheffler. “I came here with a purpose.”

Tiger Woods (2007-08) was the last player to win four out of five PGA Tour events, and the last player to win on the PGA Tour the week after claiming a major (2006).

Bernhard Langer (1985) last went back-to-back at the Masters and RBC.

“Coming off the high last week to going into here, not really with a ton of energy, not really with a ton of prep work,” Scheffler said. “I think it’s underrated how difficult it is to do the stuff that Tiger was doing, and win like every single week. It takes a lot out of you emotionally and physically, especially major championships.”

Scheffler earned $3.2 million of the $20 million RBC purse. He’s pocketed $18.7 million for his work in 10 tournaments this season.

Scheffler now has 11 wins and 33 top-fives in his last 60 worldwide starts. He hasn’t carded an official round over par since August.

“It’s pretty epic,” said Theegala, who played in the final group with Scheffler. “I was talking to Carl, my caddie, walking to 15 tee box. I was like, I grew up watching the end of Tiger, got to see Rory, DJ, Jordan, like all these guys kind of dominate for a period of time, and I was like, we could be in the midst of something really, really special.”

“It does not get boring,” Scheffler emphasized. “I think hitting a really well-struck golf shot close to the pin is like an addicting feeling.”

The second major of the year, the 2024 PGA Championship, tees off on May 16 at Valhalla in Louisville, Kentucky. Scheffler is almost a 3-1 favorite against the field. He’s +6000 to win all four majors in 2024.

Meanwhile, on the LPGA Tour, world No. 1 Nelly Korda just rattled off her fifth win in a row, at the first major of the season, the Chevron Championship. Keep up, Scottie.

Eleven months ago, after the first round of the Memorial Tournament, Billy Horschel stood in front of the media and fought back tears as he talked about his lack of confidence.

He had just fired a 12-over 84, which served as a metaphor for his struggles throughout the 2023 season. Horschel missed 10 cuts a year ago, which led to him missing out on the FedEx Cup Playoffs .

As such, Horschel did not meet the qualification requirements to play in this week’s RBC Heritage —the fifth Signature Event of the 2024 season . But he still wanted to play, knowing that his game was trending in the right direction.

So, he teed it up at the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic, an opposite full-field event.

The decision paid off.

Horschel began the final round three strokes behind Wesley Bryan, but he stormed past him and all the others to win by two. The former Florida Gator signed for a 9-under 63, which tied the course record, to win for the first time on the PGA Tour since the 2022 Memorial.

“This game of golf is so fickle. I think you can put a lot into it and get everything you want out of it,” Horschel said after his win on Sunday.

“But I knew in my 14 years, 13 years previously on the PGA Tour, that I had the ability, I had the talent. I just needed to continue to work hard, do the right things, and continue to believe that good stuff was going to come to the forefront at some point in time.”

Even though his victory did not come against the likes of Scottie Scheffler , Wyndham Clark , Rory McIlroy, or any other elite PGA Tour players, Horschel still holds this win—and other opposite field events—in high regard.

“The PGA Tour has a lot of tournaments, and it’s tough for every tournament to get its due. Opposite-field events have been crucial for many players coming up the ranks,” Horschel explained.

“Look at Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland winning in Puerto Rico, Matt Wallace won this. So listen, it’s another opportunity to play, it’s another opportunity to become a better player, to get that win on the PGA Tour. These events are crucial to the PGA Tour in the sense of the growth of the development of the players on the PGA Tour.”

Horschel’s victory in the Dominican Republic vaults him from 76th to 45th in the FedEx Cup rankings. The top 70 players earn entry into the FedEx Cup Playoffs, so yes, this win carries significant weight.

But Horschel would not have been able to finish the job without his strong psyche and ability to handle pressure down the stretch.

“I don’t like talking about myself but growing up, I always wanted the ball when I was a pitcher; I always wanted to be the guy at battle trying to drive in the winning run; I always wanted to have it on me,” Horschel explained.

“I think growing up and having that mentality, I have grown into Ioving being in the lead. I love having that spotlight on me; I love having everything on me, knowing that if I mess up, it’s my fault, and I am the one who can control my destiny. I’ve always been really good up near the lead, and today, I showed that a little bit.”

Horschel made five birdies on the front nine to soar toward the top of the leaderboard at the midway point of his round. True to himself, he did not fold down the stretch, but rather, he thrived. His eagle at the par-5 12th gave him a two-shot lead with six holes to play, and he never relinquished it.

He’s not allowed to drive a car, but driving a golf ball isn’t an issue.

Miles Russell, a high school freshman from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, made history at a professional golf tournament over the weekend.

Playing on a sponsor’s exemption, Russell carded a 68 and 66 in the first two rounds of the LECOM Suncoast Classic to finish three strokes inside the 36-hole cut line. At 15 years, 5 months, 18 days, he became the youngest player to make a cut on the Korn Ferry Tour, surpassing Gipper Finau at the 2006 Utah Championship.

The Korn Ferry Tour is a developmental tour for the PGA Tour, which features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at the sport’s top level.

Russell, who went on to card a 1-under 70 in the third round and 5-under 66 in the final round at Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course, finished T20 at 14-under 270.

He’s the youngest player on record (since 1983) to notch a top-25 finish on the PGA TOUR or Korn Ferry Tour.

“It was an awesome week. It was a blast,” Russell said, according to the PGA Tour. “Especially for my first one, you may get a couple weird looks, like, ‘Who’s the little kid on the range?’ But, you know, everybody was so nice and so helpful with everything.”

“I just try to kind of go with flow and take it as it comes to me, and I’m trying to just stay cool. I was able to hit some good shots in the right moments.”

With the top-25 finish, Russell also qualifies for next week’s Veritex Bank Championship in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Fellow lefty Phil Mickelson was among many who took note of his performance over the weekend on social media.

“Miles Russell, a 15 year old left handed golfer made the cut in this week’s Korn Ferry event. This is an amazing accomplishment. It’s great to see a young lefty playing such incredible golf,” he posted to X

Russell is the AJGA’s top-ranked junior and champion of the Junior Players and Junior PGA Championship. He isn’t eligible to join the Korn Ferry Tour full-time for three years.

“When I play well, I think I can compete with some of the better pros, but this week I played well and I think it kind of showed it a little bit,” Russell said. “But good play is always good, and definitely confidence-boosting to finish where we’re going to finish today.”

The world’s top-ranked golfer is dominating the PGA Tour. Scottie Scheffler won the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Monday morning following a weather delay and restart late Sunday—his fourth win in his last five starts. He added a tartan plaid jacket to his second green jacket at The Masters , which followed wins at The Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational .

Scheffler carded an 8 under par 63 on Saturday to take a 1-stroke lead over Sepp Straka and 2 strokes ahead of his final round playing partner at The Masters, Collin Morikwa. Both those players shot a 1 over par 72 in the final round to fall back.

Scheffler entered Sunday’s final round as the -165 favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook to win the tournament with Straka and Morikawa both +650 and Masters runner-up Ludvig Aberg +1100 sitting 3 shots behind. Scottie was +450 to win at the start of the RBC Heritage .

He’s nearly locked up 2024 PGA Tour Player of the Year honors before the end of April, and commented on his play and performances following rounds 3 and 4 while dealing with any added pressure.

Internally, do you feel less pressure compared to a few months ago when you're out there playing?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: It's tough to answer. I mean, I talked about it a bit at the end of last week. I really love winning, and I don't really like losing at all. It's one of those things where I try to manage the expectations of myself, kind of get that stuff out of the way and then go out there and compete.

Scheffler also added 700 FedEx Cup Playoffs Points to his total by winning the Signature Event at the RBC Heritage. He tops the points list with 3,915 - more than double Wyndham Clark (1,892) with Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg and Sahith Theegala next at more than 1,500 points.

He competed at the highest level again without a letdown to win the RBC Heritage. Scheffler will enter the next major as the +450 favorite at the PGA Championship May 16-19 at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY.
