INCREDIBLE PLACES

Gobi desert.

The Gobi Desert is a vast, arid region in northern China and southern Mongolia. It's known for its dunes, mountains and rare animals such as snow leopards and Bactrian camels. In the Gobi "Gurvansaikhan National" Park, the "Khongoryn Els" sand dunes are said to sing when the wind blows. The park also features the deep ice field of Yolyn Am canyon. Dinosaur fossils have been found at Bayanzag "Flaming Cliffs".

WHITE STUPA

White Stupa, in Mongolian known as "Tsagaan Suvaraga" is located in Ulziit district of Middle Gobi province, 400 kilometres from Ulaanbaatar. The cliffs are 30 meters high and 100 meters wide. The limestone rock has been eroded by water and wind and transformed into an interesting structure resembling the ruins from an ancient city. Its different colors represent different times in its formation history.

"Ikh Gazariin Chuluu" is an incredibly wild and silent place. Mountains of granite rock with the highest peak at 1706 meters are situated in Gurvansaikhan district of Middle Gobi province. They spread out from west to east covering about 20 km and are rich in plants and home to many wild animals. In a natural setting there is an open air theatre here where occasional performances of Mongolia's national songs are given.

DADAL VILLAGE

Genghis Khan was born in Dadal village in 1162 at the junction of the Onon and Balj rivers. He united all the Mongol tribes and went on to conquer a region stretching from Beijing to the Caspian Sea. Located only 25 kilometers from the Siberian border, most of the population of Dadal are Buryats, who live in the Buryat Republic of Russia and in north eastern Mongolia. Their customs and language are similar to the Mongols.

Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur "White Lake" was formed many millenia ago when torrents of lava from the nearby Khorgo volcano dammed the north and south Terkh rivers, creating the lake at 2060 meters above sea level. The lake is 16 km wide, 20 km long and 4-10 meters deep. It supports pike and other fish, as well as many water birds. Nearby is the extinct volcano with a crater 100 meters deep and covered with basalt and Siberian larch.

No other tour company in any other country are yet offering an entire fleet of such TOP RANGE, class leading enduro off-road motorcycle! The KTM 450 EXC "6 - DAYS" model combines the very latest in innovation with an extensive list of race-derived parts. NOTE: All our motorbike tours are for EXPERIENCED riders who wish to explore and enjoy Mongolia by KTM motorcycle, and will require stamina and endurance. The trips are unsuitable for beginners or for riders who have NO off-road experience, however the routes are NOT highly-technical hard-enduro trails, like the Austrian mine "Erzberg Rodeo" or Red Bull "Romaniacs" enduro events. Motorcycle trails are designed according to Mongolia's terrain, trails, scenery, and places of interest. Thank you!

Our  History

"We have been organizing fully-supported guided bike tours in Mongolia since 1998, starting with mountain bikes, then moving to Yamaha off-road motorcycles tours, and now with KTM enduro off-road motorbikes. The support team includes mechanics, drivers, a doctor, cook and interpreter, many of whom have been working with us since we started operating tours more than 20 years ago. The original MTB trips included large groups of cyclists doing charity fund-raising challenges. Motorbike tour clients have included a US astronaut, an F1 racing engineer, film makers, and of course hundreds of other adventurers."

KTM WORKSHOP

Our own workshop has all the facilities required to keep our KTM 450 EXC’s in top shape. We have the equipment and knowledge necessary to service KTM, BMW, HONDA, YAMAHA, SUZUKI and KAWASAKI off-road motorcycles with WP, KYB, Öhlins and Showa forks and shocks. All spare suspension parts are from K-Tech Suspension and products are "NOK" Japan Corporation. Our workshop also has the tools needed to rebuild KTM cranks.

Our highly qualified technicians provide servicing for your KTM following accurate factory specifications and using leading manufacturer's service parts.

FORK SERVICE

Forks require servicing every 20 hours when the bike has been ridden off-road. Motorcycle Mongolia have the tools and experience for suspension servicing and set-up for "off road" bikes and "road" bikes and bike lowering done correctly. We service all brands of forks including KYB, Showa, Öhlins, K-Tech and WP.

SHOCK SERVICE

Regular maintenance of your motorcycle suspension ensures that the suspension components are working at their optimum. Our workshop is fitted out with the very latest tools and equipment necessary to carry out fork and shock servicing to an extremely high standard. Also we measure the bike to set the static and rider sag.

CRANK REBUILT

Our facilities include the latest capability for crankshaft rebuilding services including crank pressing and balancing. Your crankshaft will be assembled using quality parts and then trued to the factory specifications. Our mechanics have all the latest tooling and equipment to keep you on track for the whole season.

October 7 – 10, 2024

The KTM EUROPE ADVENTURE RALLY is back again, set for an exceptional ride out for KTM 'orange bleeders' in the search of ultimate adventure together. Along with expert partner, Edelweiss Bike Travel – which will bring its long-established experience in organizing motorcycle tours all round the globe to the organization – KTM has harnessed and condensed all the best aspects of an ADVENTURE experience in a three-day gathering that will roam some of the most spectacular topography on the continent.

For the 2024 edition, 250 riders will arrive in the scenic city of Lagos, set in the Algarve region of Portugal. Pure on-bike activity will span 200+ km per day over the course of three full days of seat time and special stages, while taking in the surrounds of diverse landscapes, from rocky cliffs and grottoes, to rolling hills and lush countryside. And don’t overlook the destination’s stunning coastline that stretches for approximately 150 km along the Atlantic Ocean!

The KTM EUROPE ADVENTURE RALLY brings KTM riders together to celebrate the best values of adventuring: camaraderie, exploration, discovery and having a good time on two-wheels with like-minded people.

Some of those people will offer amazing stories and riding advice. How about a special guest line-up of KTM ambassadors Chris Birch, Johnny Aubert, and Giovanni Sala? Another reason and another bucket list box ticked to get signed up today! The challenge will be enhanced this time around, with a Main Route and a series of optional Breakouts for those with increased ADVENTURE experience looking for an added degree of difficulty along the journey.

Each KTM EUROPE ADVENTURE RALLY participant can make the most of their experience. Whether that means dropping into guided groups or programing their GPS to tackle the loops by themselves. At the end of each day prizes, parties, food, and fun await back at ‘base camp’, capped off by elevated four-star accommodation to further add to the comfort and enjoyment of a spectacular week of exploration.

WHAT Connect with fellow KTM ADVENTURERS as well as specialized staff and technical back-up support from Austria. Embark on an exploration spanning hundreds of kilometers, traversing diverse terrains and breathtaking landscapes. Bond with fellow riders and unleash the full potential of your KTM. Participants can learn new skills and delve into 'RALLY' style riding. This includes navigating routes of nearly 200 km daily using GPS instructions.

WHO CAN ATTEND THE 2024 KTM EUROPE ADVENTURE RALLY?

The 2024 KTM EUROPE ADVENTURE RALLY is exclusively open to riders with the following KTM ADVENTURE bikes: 250, 390, 640, 690, 790, 790 R, 890, 890 R, 950, 950 SUPER ENDURO R, 990, 1050, 1090, 1090 R, 1190, 1190 R, 1290 and 1290 R models.  

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

The event fee of 1,390.00 € includes a three-day adventure riding experience with supplied GPS files, a tracking device and technical and medical assistance. Additionally, it covers accomodation for four nights (7-10 October, 2024) in a shared twin room in a 4-star hotel incl. breakfast, three times lunch (8-10 October, 2024) and four times dinner (7-10 October, 2024) incl. softdrinks. If you opt to bring an accompanying person there is in extra fee of 600.00 € , but they can´t take part in the riding activites nor be a pillion. This price includes four nights (7-10 October, 2024) in a shared twin room incl. breakfast, three times lunch (8-10 October, 2024) and four times dinner (7-10 October, 2024) incl. softdrinks.

For a limited number of participants opting to join a guided tour , there will be an additional charge of 390.00 € per person . Please note that this option must be selected during the online registration process.

•    KTM ADVENTURE motorcycle in good riding condition with license plate and vehicle documents as well as a fuel range of min. 200 km •    Fully comprehensive motorcycle insurance •    Ambulance cover that is valid in Portugal | Medical insurance •    Valid motorcycle license depending on your motorcycle •    Offroad clothing incl. proper rainwear •    Suitable tires for offroad riding (The tires are not part of the package, but there will be a special deal with our official tire partner Mitas Motorcycle Tyres for the event. Together we decided on the ENDURO TRAIL-XT+, which is the perfect fit for this event. After registration is closed we will reach out to you individually to inform you about the order process.) •    GPS navigation skills for all self-navigation riders (All self-navigation riders must bring their own device to upload the GPS tracks.) WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE?

•    Pre-ridden and meticulously planned routes with assistance of local experts, showcasing the finest adventure riding of the area •    Lead riders & GPS files - You just get on your KTM each morning and ride •    Optional (if opting for a guided group) - Riding with KTM riders as tour guides •    Four nights of accommodation incl. breakfast (7-10 October, 2024) in a shared twin room •    Four times dinner incl. soft drinks, water and coffee (7-10 October, 2024) •    Three times lunch incl. soft drinks, water and coffee at special locations (8-10 October, 2024) •    Technical support - We will have KTM factory mechanics available to assist with any technical issues. We strongly recommend a pre-event check at your local KTM dealer for all registered bikes. •    Each day, sweep riders as well as a 4WD with a well-equipped trailer will follow all riders. •    Medical support - With riding medics and a medical 4WD backup vehicle, ride at ease knowing that you will have assistance should you need it •    Event video & photos - We will capture the memories for you to share with your family and friends. •    Entertainment – Special experiences and activities are planned for each night, the KTM way. •    KTM goody bag WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE?

•    Travel arrangements (e.g. flights, taxi service, visa application) - Please make sure to sort out all the travel arrangements before coming to Portugal. •    Alcoholic drinks during lunch/dinner •    Spare parts will be available on-site for sale. In case of any damage, the costs for the spare parts must be covered by the participant. •    Tires will be available on location but are not part of the main event package. Peak Design's New Mounts Support Qi2 Wireless Charging

Peak Design, an innovator in carry solutions and mobile accessories, has introduced next-generation motorcycle mounts featuring fast Qi2 wireless charging, rapid phone attachment, and advanced vibration protection. Launched through Peak Design’s 12th Kickstarter campaign, these mounts are designed for motorcycles, ATVs, and scooters, providing a convenient system for mounting, accessing, and charging mobile phones.

2025 KTM EXC SIX DAYS Lineup Is Ready To Race

The FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) is set to return to Spain for the fifth time, with the event scheduled from October 14-19, 2024, in Silleda. This will be the first time the 6DAYS is hosted in this part of Spain, adding a new chapter to its rich enduro history.

In line with this prestigious event, KTM is introducing the 2025 KTM EXC SIX DAYS range. This lineup promises an enhanced experience, benefiting from a significant refresh akin to the 2024 KTM EXC range. KTM Announces North American Motorcycle Adventure Tours

KTM North America has announced a series of KTM Adventure Tours for North America.

Following in the tracks of the extremely successful KTM Adventure Tours program already established in locations around the world, the KTM North American Tours program will expand into Mexico, Canada and the United States.

Scot Harden, an off-road and rally champion, has been selected to direct the KTM North American Tours.

“I couldn’t be more excited about being chosen to take on this new challenge,” said Harden, who, with his extensive knowledge of the Southwest United States and Baja Mexico, will ensure that the tours are as authentic and pure as are other existing KTM Tours throughout the world.

“It’s important to remember that these are not competitive events,” said Harden.  “We’re out for adventure and fun – with particular emphasis on fun! Most groups will be kept small and will be matched by ability level.  We can handle the hardcore enthusiast but even rookie off-roaders will have a wonderful time.”

Not only will KTM Adventure Tour customers enjoy the opportunity to ride through some of the most spectacular locations in North America, they’ll do it aboard rally-prepped KTM 640 Adventure motorcycles.  Each machine will be outfitted with the latest equipment including GPS and genuine rally road-books.  Future tours will allow participants to experience other models in KTM’s off-road model line.

2008 KTM Adventure Tours

Following in the footsteps of the successful KTM Adventure Tours program already established in locations around the world, the 2008 KTM North American Tours program has several unique tour offerings that segment it from traditional North American motorcycle tour companies.  Its sponsor program is second to none with support from many leading aftermarket product manufacturers.

The 2006 KTM North American Adventure Tour season will kick-off with a series of simulated Rally Experiences throughout the Southwest United States and Baja Mexico “through some of the most remote and beautiful southwest desert landscapes,” according to Harden.  In addition to the tours, a complete series of Adventure Camps will be offered as well.
