FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Announces Summer 2024 U.S. Tour With MARILYN MANSON

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has announced a headlining U.S. tour this summer with support from MARILYN MANSON and SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL . The trek will kick off on August 2 in Hershey, Pennsylvania and run through September 19 when it will conclude in Houston, Texas.

A special BLABBERMOUTH.NET presale will begin on Wednesday, March 13 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) local time and end on Thursday, March 14 at 10:00 p.m. local time. Prior to the U.S. run, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will embark on a tour of Europe in the spring for more stadium dates with METALLICA on the latter act's "M72" world tour in addition to headlining shows with special guest ICE NINE KILLS and select appearances at major festivals.

The digital deluxe edition of "AfterLife" , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's critically acclaimed ninth studio album, will arrive on April 5 via Better Noise Music . The deluxe version will include the original 12 tracks recorded with the band's longtime producer Kevin Churko ( OZZY OSBOURNE ) in addition to four bonus tracks: three acoustic versions of the album's songs "The End" , "Judgement Day" and "Thanks For Asking" plus a brand new song, "This Is The Way" , featuring the late rapper DMX . An official music video for "This Is The Way (Featuring DMX)" is directed by none other than highly influential filmmaker Hype Williams , a longtime friend and close collaborator of the late DMX . Hailed by The New York Times in 2024 as "The Nineties Wunderkind," Hype Williams is known for his seminal work with luminaries like Tupac , Wu-Tang Clan and Jay-Z , among others. The video will be released to coincide with the deluxe edition of "AfterLife" on April 5.

"AfterLife" is FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's first album with its latest addition, renowned British virtuoso Andy James , who replaced Jason Hook in 2020. James was previously featured on "Broken World" , a song that was included on the second installment of FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH 's greatest-hits collection, "A Decade Of Destruction – Volume 2" , which came out in the fall of 2020.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH played its first show as the support act for METALLICA on the "M72" tour on August 6, 2023 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH was originally supposed to support METALLICA on several European shows last spring but ended up canceling the dates in order to allow singer Ivan Moody to fully recover from a hernia surgery.

Manson has faced a number of legal obstacles in recent years, including being sued by several women with allegations of sexual and other abuse. Some of those lawsuits have been dismissed or settled.

Last September, Manson , whose legal name is Brian Warner , was sentenced to 20 hours of community service and a fine after pleading no contest to blowing his nose on a videographer at a 2019 concert in New Hampshire.

In legal documents filed in November 2022, Marilyn confirmed he was dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings , and talent agency CAA , and claimed to have been "excluded from Hollywood social and business gatherings."

Manson went on to say that his music was suffering, he couldn't tour, he couldn't release his book, his paintings had been "devalued" and his art shows had been "indefinitely postponed."

Manson said his "false portrayal as a rapist, abuser, and child pornographer" had also caused him to lose two acting roles, Starz series "American Gods" and Paramount+ series "The Stand" .

All the bands were spot on put on excellent shows with awesome energy. They did everything they could to make it feel like everybody was included in the show they were doing. It was awesome to see how they recognize the vets who are willing to sacrifice everything so that we can have everything. Truly the veterans are The real heroes in America today Not the made up ones you see on TV by marvel comics. Secondly and even closer to my own heart The way Ivan brought up his sobriety and shared it with everybody and then recognized everyone in the crowd that has sobriety and told everyone that we all deserve around of applause for everything we’ve gone through to get to where were at. Was truly a special moment because so many addicts and alcoholics could feel alone in a crowd room full of people even when they’re sober that the fact that they got the spotlight for even one second is something that most of us will never forget as I myself have 20 years of sobriety this is the first time a performer has put it in the spotlight rock on Ivan.

Last summer I finally pulled my shit together and got sober from heroin. My goal? See ffdp up close and personal. Of course, Breaking Benjamin was fuckin' fabulous. I just was craving me some angry Moody :) I forked out the extra cash in hopes that I could exchange a look with the man and offer to buy him coffee, chilli or something like a good Cincinnati girl would do. Oh, but no. Fate had other plans. 4 fuckin' songs into the set I walked away from my front row spot fading in and out of consciousness from a growing excruciating pain in my side. I black out, hit the ground and I was being wheeled away by security during "Remember everything." Stupid ass kidney stones.. Ruined. From what I heard it was sex to my ear drums and the entire band can ear sex me anytime. I WILL meet ya'll someday and shake your hands and kiss your faces. You've got me through some of the darkest times in my life. I hope this story reaches one of you and puts a smile on your face and shows you that there are little small town girls like me that get a little turned on by short bald guys that scream :)

So fuckin' what?

This group sounds fantastic on their recordings but sound just as rockin in concert. Ivan Moody is Mr. Entertainer and continuously wows the crowd with his sarcasm, humor, and invitation to his fans that they are "family".

He recognizes the military and shows support. However, with the crazy and tragic fires going on, one north of Sacramento, and one south of Sacramento, he invited first responders and firefighters to the concert for free. So this metal rock band has some real class and respect.

The lights and glitter and fire, and the large skull has the total package of a kick ass metal band, and it delivers a punch, a FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH!

Ivan is great with the kids on stage, and gives them something to remember.

He sounds great, and your bonuses are Jason, Chris, and Jeremy Oh yeah....they frickin' rock! Talented! Jason and your strumming on your 12 string while he rises above the crown, and wow they all have talent. This band fits together quite well. They don't have the mightier than thou attitude, and show appreciation and love for their audience. They stuck around after the concert throwing out paraphernalia.

FFDP have also announced a new album, AfterLife, and unleashed its title track

Five Finger Death Punch have announced a 2022 US tour with Megadeth , The HU , and Fire From the Gods . In addition, FFDP have unveiled the title track from their upcoming album, AfterLife .

The tour kicks off August 19th in Portland, Oregon, and runs through an October 15th show in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 15th) at 10:00 a.m. local time to the general public via Ticketmaster , with pre-sales beginning today (April 12th).

In addition to the tour announcement, FFDP revealed that they will release their ninth studio album, AfterLife , later this year. The LP is being produced by Kevin Churko, and is being touted as the “arguably most diverse record of the band.” For the first taste of the LP, FFDP have just unleashed the title track (listen below).

Five Finger Death Punch will hit the road for a huge U.S. arena tour in the fall with country rocker Brantley Gilbert . The duo announced the dates for the 20-city outing on Monday (Aug. 15), revealing that it is slated to kick-off on Nov. 9 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

They’ll be joined by newcomer Corey Marks on the Live Nation-produced tour, which will keep them on the road through a Dec. 17 date at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas. While it’s the first time FFDP and Gilbert will share the stage, it is just the latest cross-genre collaboration between the acts, who teamed up on the 2019 hit “Blue on Black”; the cover of the Kenny Wayne Shepherd track featuring Queen’s Brian May, Shepherd and Gilbert became FFDP’s seventh No.1 on Billboard ‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

Fan club pre-sales for both headliners will kick off at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday (Aug. 16), with other pre-sales slated to being at 10 a.m. local time on Thursday (Aug. 18); general public tickets will be available beginning 10 a.m. local time on Friday (Aug. 19). Five Finger Death Punch Announce Headlining U.S. Tour To Include Pine Knob Music Theatre August 7

(DETROIT – March 8, 2024) – Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch today announced a headlining U.S. tour this Summer/Fall with Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail. The tour will include a stop at Pine Knob Music Theatre on Wednesday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. Pine Knob Music Theatre is presented by Proud Partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health and Ally.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at 313Presents.com , LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com . Pre-sales for the tour kick off Monday, March 11 at 10 a.m. EST.

Better Noise Music will release Five Finger Death Punch’s acclaimed ninth studio album AFTERLIFE as a digital deluxe edition on April 5. The deluxe version includes the original 12 tracks recorded with the band’s longtime producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne) in addition to four bonus tracks: acoustic versions of the album’s songs “The End,” “Judgement Day,” and “Thanks For Asking” plus a brand-new song, “This Is The Way” featuring the legendary late rapper DMX. Five Finger Death Punch + Megadeth Bring Stacked Setlists to Tour Kickoff

On Friday (Aug. 19), Five Finger Death Punch and Megadeth kicked off their national tour at RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater in Ridgefield, Washington, with support from Fire From The Gods and The Hu .

Five Finger Death Punch were celebrating the release of their new album  AfterLife .  Their 10-song set list included the live debut of the LP's "Times Like These," as well as their cover of "Bad Company," according to Setlist.fm .

Megadeth stuck to mostly oldies — but goodies — basically dashing the hopes of fans pininig for new tracks from their upcoming album,  The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!

With the effort's release just weeks away (Sept. 2) and three tracks already previewed ( "Solider On!" "We'll Be Back" and "Night Stalkers"), it was interesting that Megadeth chose to forgo new stuff. A show is scheduled for Sept. 2, so maybe they're waiting for that date.

Instead, Megadeth stuck to a good chunk of 1990's  Rust in Peace , with three of the nine songs hailing from that album, including the set's opener ("Hangar 18") and closer ("Holy Wars ... The Punishment Due"), according to Setlist.fm .

Brantley Gilbert Joining Five Finger Death Punch for a Genre-Melding Fall 2022 Arena Tour

Hard rock and country worlds will collide this fall as Brantley Gilbert heads out on an arena tour with heavy metal group Five Finger Death Punch. The two acts will share a stage for a 22-date trek, which begins on Nov. 9 with a stop in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The two acts are by no means strangers: In 2019, they teamed up for a version of "Blue on Black," a song that was originally recorded by blues rockers the Kenny Wayne Shepard Band and covered by FFDP for their 2018 album And Justice For None . Before the official collaboration, Gilbert and his band sometimes covered the song during their live shows.

Their joint version of the song, which also features Queen's Brian May and benefits first responders via the Gary Sinise Foundation, garnered an impressive 110 million YouTube views and 69 million Spotify streams upon its release, affirming Gilbert and FFDP's appeal as a twosome. Plus, Gilbert's got a long history of mixing a little hard rock into his country: For one thing, he's currently in the midst of a short tour with rising country-rock act Jelly Roll .

Tickets for Gilbert and FFDP's arena tour go on sale on Friday (Aug. 19), but Five Finger Death Punch Fan Club members will have access to a special pre-sale starting on Tuesday (Aug. 16.) Country rocker Corey Marks will serve as opening act on the trek. Buy Brantley Gilbert tickets here.

Five Finger Death Punch Hoping To Release New Album In 2025

Multi-platinum alternative metal outfit Five Finger Death Punch are eyeing a tentative 2025 release for their tenth studio album. The band’s guitarist Zoltan Bathory recently confirmed that progress is being made on that front in an interview conducted by the annual ‘ Graspop Metal Meeting ‘ festival in Dessel, Belgium.

Bathory said of the group’s progress with new material:

“We are working. So there’s definitely a new record coming, hopefully next year. We’ll see when, but we’ve been working on some stuff. There’s always things in the vault — we’re always doing something. And when it’s not time yet, then we just put it in the vault. I do believe that we have to record an album every two years, maybe three at the most. Because we are in a fast lane. Every band is in a fast lane. Time changes, [and it’s] very different for us. And so I feel like every two years is about the time when we are kind of different people. A lot happens to a band in two years. And so every record is a snapshot. And I feel like you have to — if you wanna follow a band, it’s like it’s about the right time. Every two, three years, you put out a record and people can follow where you are. If it’s a longer period, I’m not sure that they can, because in three, four, five years, a lot changes.”

“For us, another thing is that everything that we write about is either socially, politically or personally relevant. We’re not writing about historical events. So that means that whatever we’re working on has to be relevant right now. And the world, obviously, like we all know, changes in six months. It’s a different world, right? So that’s another reason that we work that way, that we kind of take snapshots of the world and where we are in the world every two years.”

Five Finger Death Punch will be rolling out across North America this summer on a headlining run that will find Marilyn Manson , Slaughter To Prevail and The Funeral Portrait performing as support.
