Maroon 5 to perform at Singapore National Stadium in November

It’s official: Maroon 5 is coming to Singapore to perform at the Singapore National Stadium on Nov 28.

“We’ve added one last stop on our 2022 World Tour! We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!” the band wrote on Instagram.

They will perform at Quebec City and Orlando in July and August before making a stopover in Asia. Singapore will be their first stop, followed by Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Manila and Bangkok.

The last time Maroon 5 came to Singapore for a concert was in 2019. The band’s biggest hits throughout the years include Sugar, Payphone, She Will Be Loved and One More Night.  

The Grammy award-winning group most recently released their seventh studio album JORDI in June last year, which included guest appearances such as Megan Thee Stallion, Blackbear and Stevie Nicks. Jason Derulo’s hit single Lifestyle (featuring Maroon 5’s star vocalist Adam Levine) was also included in the Deluxe edition of JORDI.

In addition to Maroon 5, other international artistes the likes of Billie Eilish , The Script and Westlife are heading to Singapore this year.

Maroon 5 are returning to Singapore to play at the National Stadium on 28 November. Tickets start at SGD 128, with a PayPal pre-sale happening on 24 August , and a Live Nation members pre-sale on 25 August . Tickets will be available to the general public on 26 August. Get tickets here.

Maroon 5 will be heading to Manila's Mall of Asia Arena on 8 December. Tickets will go sale on  4 August (Online Fanclub Presale), 5 August (Online Live Nation Presale),  and  6 August (Public Sale).

Adam Levine and co are heading back to Bangkok on December 10 for their biggest gig ever.

It looks like the concert streak in Bangkok is unstoppable. The first half of 2022 has just wrapped up, with a record number of acts coming to the capital. Now we have over 15 concerts and music festivals lined up for the second half of the year.

Maroon 5 is the latest band to announce its plans to visit the Thai capital on December 10. The American pop band recently revealed that it will be making the rounds in Asia as part of its World Tour 2022 on their official Instagram account: “We’ve added one last stop on our 2022 World Tour! We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!”

This will be the band’s seventh time in Bangkok and also its biggest show ever—the “This Love” hitmaker has moved on from their usual venue at Impact Arena to Rajamangala Stadium, which has a capacity of over 50,000. Maroon 5 will be the second musical act to take over the massive sports venue after Justin Bieber’s Justice World Tour on November 6.

The band released its seventh studio album JORDI last year. It’s the least commercially successful in Maroon 5’s catalog, but it did generate the radio-friendly hit single “Memories”, which is a tribute to the band’s former longtime manager Jordan Feldstein who passed away in 2017.

Tickets for Maroon 5's World Tour 2022 start from B2,500 and will be on sale from July 29 onwards for the general public, with pre-sales available on July 27 and 28.

Maroon 5 heading to Singapore to kick off Asia tour

Maroon 5 is the next major act to return to Singapore this year.

The American pop rock band announced it will jam later this year at the Singapore National Stadium as part of its world tour.

“We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!” it wrote on Instagram.

After playing Singapore on Nov. 28, the band heads to Seoul on Nov. 30, Tokyo on Dec. 4, Osaka on Dec. 6, and Manila on Dec. 8 before wrapping up in Bangkok on Dec. 10.

The bands six members are no stranger to the city-state as they have performed there several times, the most recent being at the same venue in 2019.

Their latest album, Jordi , was released last month. Ticket details have yet to be announced.

Bangkok is the last stop on the Asia leg of Maroon 5’s World Tour in 2022, coming to the capital on Dec 10 for a show at Rajamangala National Stadium.

Announced over the weekend, Adam Levine and crew will be landing in Singapore in November and will continue through Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, and Manila before landing in Bangkok. This will be Maroon 5’s sixth visit to Bangkok since 2008, last seen in the city prior to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019 with their Red Pill Blues tour. 

Rising to fame in the early 2000s, Maroon 5 have had a host of hits over the years, including “Moves Like Jagger,” “She Will Be Loved,” “Sugar,” and “Payphone”. The news of the concert comes as Bangkok expects other huge acts to be hitting the city as the pandemic finally wanes, including Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber .

MANILA, Philippines – Pop-rock band Maroon 5 announced on Saturday, July 2, that they will return to Manila for an upcoming 2022 World Tour.

“We’ve added one last stop on our 2022 World Tour! We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!” the band wrote. 

The six-piece band is slated to hold a Manila concert on December 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.  They will also be making stops in Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok. 

Tickets will go on sale for the public on August 6 via SM Tickets website and all outlets. Members of the official fan club and Live Nation Philippines, however, will have an early chance to secure tickets during the pre-sale on August 4 and 5, respectively. 

Ticket prices range from P2,500 to P23,500

The band last performed in Manila in 2019 for their Red Pill Blues Tour. They held their first concert in Manila in 2012 and returned three years later for their Maroon 5 World Tour 2015.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Most Beautiful Metro Stations in Moscow

Visiting Moscow? Get yourself a metro card and explore Moscow’s beautiful metro stations. Moscow’s world-famous metro system is efficient and a great way to get from A to B. But there is more to it; Soviet mosaic decorations, exuberant halls with chandeliers, colourful paintings and immense statues. Moscow’s metro is an attraction itself, so take half a day and dive into Moscow’s underground!

The best thing to do is to get on the brown circle (number 5) line since the most beautiful metro stations are situated on this line. The only exception is the metro stop Mayakovskaya one the green line (number 2). My suggestion is to get a map, mark these metro stops on there and hop on the metro. It helps to get an English > Russian map to better understand the names of the stops. At some of the metro stops, the microphone voice speaks Russian and English so it’s not difficult at all.

Another thing we found out, is that it’s worth taking the escalator and explore the other corridors to discover how beautiful the full station is.

These are my favourite metro stations in Moscow, in order of my personal preference:

1. Mayakovskaya Station

The metro station of Mayakovskaya looks like a ballroom! Wide arches, huge domes with lamps and mosaic works make your exit of the metro overwhelming. Look up and you will see the many colourful mosaics with typical Soviet pictures. Mayakovskaya is my personal favourite and is the only stop not on the brown line but on the green line.

2. Komsomolskaya Station

Komsomolskaya metro station is famous for its yellow ceiling. An average museum is nothing compared to this stop. Splendour all over the place, black and gold, mosaic – again – and enormous chandeliers that made my lamp at home look like a toy.

3. Novoslobodskaya Station

The pillars in the main hall of Novoslobodskaya metro station have the most colourful stained glass decorations. The golden arches and the golden mosaic with a naked lady holding a baby in front of the Soviet hammer and sickle, make the drama complete.

4. Prospect Mira Station

The beautiful chandeliers and the lines in the ceiling, make Prospekt Mira an architectural masterpiece.

5. Belorusskaya Station

Prestigious arches, octagonal shapes of Socialistic Soviet Republic mosaics. The eyecatcher of Belorusskaya metro station, however, is the enormous statue of three men with long coats, holding guns and a flag.

6. Kiyevskaya Station

The metro station of Kiyevskaya is a bit more romantic than Belorusskaya and Prospect Mira. Beautiful paintings with classical decorations.

7. Taganskaya Station

At the main hall Taganskaya metro station you will find triangle light blue and white decorations that are an ode to various Russians that – I assume – are important for Russian history and victory. There is no need to explore others halls of Taganskaya, this is it.

8. Paveletskaya Station

Another and most definitely the less beautiful outrageous huge golden mosaic covers one of the walls of Paveletskaya. I would recommend taking the escalator to the exit upstairs to admire the turquoise dome and a painting of the St Basil’s Cathedral in a wooden frame.

Travelling with Moscow’s metro is inexpensive. You can have a lot of joy for just a few Rubbles.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Moscow is a great city trip destination and really surprised me in many ways.

My partner and I did a self guided Moscow Metro tour when we were there 2 years ago. So many breathtaking platforms…I highly recommend it! Most of my favorites were along the Brown 5 line, as well. I also loved Mayakovskaya, Arbatskaya, Aleksandrovski Sad and Ploshchad Revolyutsii. We’re heading back in a few weeks and plan to do Metro Tour-Part 2. We hope to see the #5 stations we missed before, as well as explore some of the Dark Blue #3 (Park Pobedy and Slavyansky Bul’var, for sure), Yellow #8 and Olive #10 platforms.
