For me your version looks better. I think it should be added to vanilla  

is it possible for the concept art version to be made as a texture pack or mod? Currently I feel the sprite has too much shading, and the contrast of darkness is not enough. The thickness of the horns and the lack of "void" eyes in the robe when idling does not strike me the same as the concept art. The original has a more wispy feel to it

from my thing.......i got a feeling there is a slight chance for relogic to fix it by 1.4.1.2....... really makes my (CURRENT as of posting this) character's design look better (timeless traveler with teal dye and worm scarf with blue dye)

• Journey's End Vanity Contest

The Journey's End Vanity Contest was a community event by Re-Logic in 2020, giving players the opportunity to submit their original ideas for a vanity set that would be implemented in Terraria as part of the Journey's End update. As a result of the contest, six sets have been added to the game in 1.4.1 .

The event was initially announced in the forums post Journey's End Vanity Contest! on March 13, 2020, two months prior to the release of Journey's End. Players had until April 13 to submit their entry, and on April 17, the finalists selected by Re-Logic were revealed in the forums post Journey's End Vanity Contest - Finalists & Voting Instructions . First, second, and third choice votes for the 25 finalists could be cast via Google Forms until April 24.

On April 27, 2020, Re-Logic announced the winning entries in the forums post Terraria: Journey's End Vanity Contest Winners! :

Re-Logic selected two additional sets to implement into the game:

The six vanity sets have been introduced into Terraria in the 1.4.1 update on October 13, 2020.

In total, over 7,000 entries had been submitted and over 143,000 votes had been cast. [1]

• All of the sets can be acquired in pre-Hardmode , though the Timeless Traveler's set and the Plaguebringer's set require materials that can only be found in either the Corruption or the Crimson , respectively.

I'm glad shadow of the erdtree is the end of elden ring, why i abandoned radahn for new game plus in elden ring.

Within Terraria , there are plenty of incredibly useful armor sets that can provide you with boosts to your defense, as well as different modes of attack or stealth. But something much more important than functional clothes is the vanity items that can be placed over the top, providing a chance to dress up and be unique.

Vanity items can be acquired through purchase from NPCs, dropped by bosses or simply made using materials such as Silk, Thread and living animals. Most can also be dyed for further customization.

10 Gold Fish Bowl

Something you might consider placing on a table to brighten up your home, the Fish Bowl and the Gold Fish Bowl can also be popped onto your character's head in the vanity slot, or the armor slot if you don't mind slowly drowning. Have fun defeating the terrors of Terraria with a little fish buddy swimming around your head .

These can be made without a crafting station, so long as you have Bottled Water and a Gold Fish. These are very rare critters that can be caught with a Bug Net and will appear on a Lifeform Analyzer. There are also Pupfish Bowls and Lava Serpent Bowls, but neither of these can be fitted to your character.

9 Timeless Traveler

This is one of many vanity sets came to being through the Journey's End Vanity Contest, where you're encouraged to design and submit your own clothing ideas for the game. The Timeless Traveler set is made up of three pieces, a Hood, a Clock and Footwear, and requires materials from the Corruption biome. If your world doesn't spawn with one, Corrupted Seeds can be bought from the Dryad.

When the full set is worn, three blue globules will surround you, flickering like Mana Boosters. You'll need Rotten Chunks, Silk, Black Dye and ten Bones to craft this spooky set.

8 Creeper Set

Between October and November, the seasonal Halloween event will begin in Terraria, affecting visuals and some mob drops, and it wouldn't be Halloween without some creepy costumes to dress up in. Enemies during this time will drop Goodie Bags that can be clicked on when in your inventory, and provide unique items such as paintings, Pets and vanity sets.

Minecraft's own Markus 'Notch' Persson gave Re Logic permission to add a Creeper costume set to Terraria, made up of Mask, Shirt and Pants, as a tribute to the much-loved game.

7 Superhero Set

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just a lot of Spandex. If you've got a hankering for a cape and maybe some tights, then the Superhero set is perfect as it's very easy to make. The set can be dyed too, meaning, with enough players, you can form your own dream team group.

With 60 Silk, nine Jungle Grass Seeds, and a Loom, you can make a full, three-piece costume, including a mask to hide your identity. The cape won't help you fly, but it'll trail after you as you fall to your doom.

6 Monokuma Set

This adorable monochrome bear outfit is going to require some dedication to acquire. It's based on the character of the same name from the Danganronpa series, but is only available in Japan an exclusive to WiiU, PS3 and PSVITA.

Related: Terraria: Best Accessories One of the materials for this murderous teddy bear is exclusive to Japan, White Thread, and needs to be crafted along with Black Thread and Silk. If you don't mind playing on an old generation console, then do it for Monokuma.

This vanity set is the brainchild of Dr. Zootsuit and was one of the Journey's End Vanity winners. It features a Video Visage head piece, displaying the color test pattern most of the time, as well as a Lazer Blazer and Pinstripe Pants. The suit aspect is crafted with Purple Dye and Silk, whereas the box television obviously needs Glass and Wire.

What really makes this outfit snappy is that the screen displays changes based on your character's circumstances. During a party or Lantern Night, a purple smiley face will appear for instance, and within the Corruption, Crimson or a Graveyard, the screen will switch off.

4 Floret Protector

One of the cheapest vanity sets you can craft while still looking stylish, the Floret Protector was another winner of the Vanity competition, dreamt up by yikescloud. Why be human when you can be a sentient flower, wandering the earth in an astronaut suit?

While standing beside a Loom, make sure you have some Dirt, Silk, Glass and a Daybloom, and you've got yourself a walking plant companion. Despite the Daybloom being yellow, the Floret Protector Helmet features a red flower.

3 The Plaguebringer

Another of the Journey's End Competition winners, the Plaguebringer set is the counterpart to the Timeless Traveler, requiring Vertebrae from the Crimson to craft. Green flames flicker from the epic shoulder pads, but by equipping a dye you can change the flames' color.

If you don't spawn Crimson naturally, then this set will only be available when the Dryad is housed in a Graveyard biome . The Cloak, Skull and Treads are made up of 30 Vertebrae, 20 Silk, ten Bones and two Black Dye.

2 Capricorn

The Terraria community is a creative and talented one, as this is the fifth of six winners of the competition. This intricate set features the head of the astrological sign Capricorn, typically a sea goat, which is a mythical creature bearing a fish's tail.

To incorporate both the astral and marine aspects of its namesake, the Capricorn set is made using ten Fallen Stars and 15 Coral, as well as Silk and Silver Dye. When wearing the full set, right-clicking the leggings will switch them between Hooves or a Tail.

1 Rabbit Perch

Finally, the best yet most useless thing you can decorate your character with, is a color-changing bunny that sits on your head. It will blink and twitch its tiny ears, even readjusting itself occasionally to get a better grip. In its plain form, it can be bought from the Zoologist for 15 Gold when 40 percent of the Bestiary is completed. The game specifies that is it indeed a real rabbit.

Equipping a dye makes this whole experience ten times better, as does holding a Finch Staff, as the rabbit will happily sit among the summoned Finches in their nest. Color the bunny with Rainbow Dye so it can stand out among the birds.

In the visual world of Terraria , appearance is everything. Players obsess over the looks of their environment, their houses , and their character. Cosmetic or Vanity items are a great way for players to obtain a unique and interesting look for their character while still wearing valuable armor and gear.

There are dozens of cosmetic items that appear in the game ranging from simple hats to entire costumes. From Halloween events to updates the developers have introduced a variety of unique and iconic looks for players to use. In no particular order, here are some of the best that the game has to offer.

There are plenty of cosmetic items and vanity sets to discover in Terraria , and an outfit guaranteed to suit every player's desires.

This list previously mentioned some of the more interesting cosmetic items and how to obtain them. It seemed appropriate to mention a few more. Many of these new additions require participating in seasonal events like Halloween or obtaining certain crafting materials. From the Space Creature xenomorph to the mythical Unicorn, these are some of the best vanity sets to wear in Terraria.

19 Silly Sunflower

Sunflowers are a sunny staple in Terraria and can brighten up any player's day. When in the vicinity of the player, they get the 'Happy' buff, which increases their movement speed and decreases the monster spawn rate. Why wouldn't the player want to dress up as one?!

For players that want to live out their flora dreams, the Silly Sunflower set can be purchased from the Clothier NPC for nine gold, but only when a Party is active.

Ever wanted to become a mermaid? The Mermaid vanity set in Terraria lets that dream become a reality! It comprises the Seashell Hairpin, Mermaid Adornment, and Mermaid Tail to let that dream become a reality and transform into an aquatic beauty.

All the player needs to do to obtain this stunning set is complete daily fishing quests for the Angler NPC , and it will eventually randomly be given as a reward. The Mermaid Tail transforms the player's legs and walking animation, so they look as though they are sliding.

Unicorns are rare and mythical creatures in normal circumstances, and they are even rarer in Terraria . The Unicorn set is made up of the Unicorn Mask, Unicorn Shirt, and Unicorn Pants.

The only method of obtaining this vanity set is through Goodie Bags, dropped by enemies during Halloween seasonal events, with a 5.26% chance of appearing. Pair the unicorn vanity set with the Blessed Apple unicorn mount for double the magic!

16 Mushroom

Pop culture references are a great addition to any game, and Terraria is full of them! This next vanity set pays homage to the Nintendo franchise, Mario, and the character Toad.

The Mushroom vanity set is undoubtedly an interesting one and is made up of the Mushroom Hat, Mushroom Shirt, and Mushroom Pants, turning the player into Toad himself. It can only be found underground in the Mushroom Chests in the Glowing Mushroom Biome.

15 Karate Tortoise

Terraria features many pop culture references, and the next up is the Karate Tortoise, referencing the cult classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles .

This vanity set is another one limited to the Halloween seasonal event and drops from Goodie Bags with a 5.26% chance. Wearing it turns the player into one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo. The male and female variants of the set are exactly the same.

The Ancient set is one of the best vanity items Terraria has in hard mode. It comprises the Ancient Headdress, Ancient Garments, and the Ancient Slacks. It bears a resemblance to the ancient Egyptian god of Anubis.

Players wanting this vanity set must craft it at the Loom. Each piece of the set will need the following ingredients 15 Silk and 5 Ancient Cloth. Silk is obtained from cobwebs and Ancient Cloth can rarely spawn from Ghouls. Fortunately, its only use in the game is to craft this particular vanity set or be sold.

13 Dr. Man Fly

The Dr. Man Fly set is one of the trickier Terraria vanity items to obtain. It is comprised of the Dr. Man Fly Mask and Dr. Man Fly’s Lab Coat. Both items are of green rarity and can be acquired under the right circumstances.

Players must defeat the Dr. Man Fly during the Solar Eclipse Event in Hardmode. The Dr. Man Fly appears after defeating Plantera and is a relatively slow traveler. The Solar Eclipse is a random event that rarely occurs at dawn after a mechanical boss has been defeated. Using a Solar Tablet will also work, and these fragments can be found from killing enemies in the Jungle Temple .

12 Martian Uniform

The Martian Uniform set is one of the best vanity items Terraria has. It has three pieces, comprised of the Martian Uniform Helmet, the Martian Uniform Torso, and the Martian Uniform Pants. They’re not terribly difficult to obtain, but do require specific circumstances to even appear.

These items drop from aliens during the Martian Madness event. After the player defeats the Golem, a Martian Prob may rarely spawn in the Space layer of the map. If the player encounters it and lets it get away, the event begins. There is a 0.5% chance each item will drop from the Martians that are killed.

11 Space Creature

The Space Creature set is one of the eerie Terraria vanity items that exist in the game. Meant to resemble the Xenomorph from the movie Alien, it comprises of three parts: the Mask, Shirt, and Pants.

Each piece is only obtainable from Goodie Bags during Halloween. There is a 5.26% chance of appearing whenever one is opened. Goodies Bags have a 1.25% of dropping from any enemy killed during Halloween.

On the Nintendo 3DS version of Terraria, players can obtain the Ninja vanity set. It is identical to the Ninja Armor, except for having no Defense or set bonuses, and is worn in the Social slot for aesthetic purposes. It comprises the Ninja Hood, Ninja Shirt, and Ninja Pants.

The vanity pieces can only be obtained from a Lepus in the Nintendo 3DS version. There is a 3% chance each item will drop . The Lepus can be summoned via the Suspicious Looking Egg that drops from Corrupt Bunnies and Disaster Bunnies during the Easter event.

9 Timeless Traveler

The Timeless Traveler set was introduced during the Journey’s End Vanity Contest. Designed by DisRicardo. It looks like a plague doctor sporting antlers, mana orbs, and a gray robe. It sort of resembles the Leshy from The Witcher 3 if it was wearing a robe.

These items can only be obtained in a Corruption biome that’s either naturally occurring or artificial biome. The pieces required large amounts of Silk, Rotten Chunk, Black Dye, and Bone to craft at a Loom.

There’s a good reason why Terraria is often referred to as the 2D Minecraft . Both feature procedurally-generated worlds to explore with an infinite number of things to build and do. As an homage to the 3D crafting classic, Terraria 's developers, Re-Logic, introduced the Creeper costume for Halloween 2013.

The Creeper costume can only be obtained during Halloween where each piece has a 5.26% chance of appearing in a Goodie Bag. The costume bears a few subtle differences from the Minecraft creature. Namely, it has arms to accommodate the human wearing it and doesn’t explode in proximity to enemies.

7 Solar & Lunar Cultist

At the heart of Terraria is a story of old gods and the beings that worship them. The player can now pretend to be one of those crazed individuals that wish to summon the Moon Lord , with two different cosmetic sets: the Lunar and Solar Cultist sets.

To obtain these outfits, the player must first defeat the Lunatic Cultist. Afterward, the Clothier will sell the Solar Cultist set if it’s daytime. If players want to actually look like the Lunar devotees that reside at the Dungeon entrance, they can purchase the Lunar Cultist robes from the Clothier at nighttime. Both outfits cost 20 gold, so they won't break the bank.

6 Floret Protector

The Floret Protector set is a rather unique concept. The player essentially becomes a flower residing in a bio-containment suit to give it mobility and protection. This allows the player to explore the world and interact with it on a level it couldn’t as a simple flower.

This set was introduced as part of the Journey’s End Vanity Contest. It was submitted by yikescloud. It requires Glass, Dirt Block, Silk, and a Daybloom to craft at a Loom. Interestingly, the flower bears little resemblance to a Daybloom.

5 Horned God

The Horned God set is a reference to the unit of the same name in the Age of Wonders series of video games. The tooltip for this costume states “Remnant of an age of wonders.” It’s essentially a bearded individual with antlers and a brown robe.

The item is of pink rarity , making it less than common to find. It can be sold by the Traveling Merchant for a varying price. It can also drop from the three Hardmode mechanical bosses; The Destroyer, The Twins , and Skeletron Prime.

4 Capricorn

The Capricorn set is another costume that appeared in the Journey’s End Vanity Contest. This one was submitted by R-MK. It’s unique on this list, as the player can morph between having legs or a tail.

To obtain the Capricorn set, players will need Silk, Fallen Star, Silver Dye, and Coral to produce it at a Loom. It can be a tricky set to obtain as Fallen Stars appear to fall at night, before disappearing at dawn. Fallen Stars are signaled by the sound effect they produce.

The Wanderer outfit was included as part of the Journey’s End Vanity Contest. The design was conceived by crowflux. It’s essentially a depiction of a Ronin with the traditional Japanese Yukata and Jingasa hat. It also features a glowing orb of fireflies.

The outfit can be crafted with Silk, Clay Blocks, and Fireflies when using a Loom. Some fans believe that the outfit and more specifically the fireflies are a reference to the classic anime Grave of the Fireflies .

This quirky costume is without a doubt, one of the best vanity sets in Terraria . It was a design submitted by Dr.Zootsuit in the Journey’s End Vanity Contest. It sees the player wearing a suave black suit with a red tie, sporting a pixilated TV for a head. The screen’s colors will change depending on where the player is located and the activity they’re doing in this sandbox game .

The outfit is crafted at a Loom using Silk, Purple Dye, Glass, and Wire. It’s a fun and innovative costume due to the screen’s mechanics. When in the Corruption or Graveyard, the TV will turn off and has a purple smiley face when around NPCs in a town, with six potential states it can be in.

1 Plaguebringer

The Plaguebringer is the final set introduced in the Journey’s End Vanity Contest, designed by SodaHunter. It features a horned skull with a regal dark cloak and fire that burns on the costume’s back. The player can change the color of the flames by applying different dyes to the cloak.

It’s the antithesis of the Timeless Traveler set, due to the fact its ingredients can only be found in the Crimson, whereas the Timeless Traveler is in the Corruption. It takes Silk, Black Dye, Bone, and Vertebra at a Loom to craft, and is the best vanity set in the game , and not difficult to obtain.

Terraria is available to play on PC, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.

With the weather being more temperate these days, it’s safe to say that a trench coat is a staple you can wear in most of the US at least half of the year. During fall and spring, I live in this staple and it deserves all of the praise.

4. Good Jeans

Jeans that are made from quality materials can last you well over a decade. It’s the investment worth making because of how many wears you can get out of each pair. An item, I’ve never regretted purchasing for sure.

5. Elevated Tank Tops

Tank tops are great but ones that feel extra special are currently my favorites since I feel stocked up on the basics. A tank top with interesting straps, texture, or ruching will add something nice to your wardrobe while still being timeless.

6. Cotton Maxi Skirt

Maxi skirts may be having a moment right now but it’s well deserved. This is a purchase that may come and go but will always be in good favor with minimalists that lean on timeless wardrobe staples.

7. Denim Mini Skirt

We saw the denim maxi skirt show up out of nowhere and dominate but one thing that’s always remained constant is the denim mini skirt. It’s casual, chic, and cool at all times of the year.

8. Button-Down Shirts

No matter how many button-down shirts I own, I just keep wanting more and more. They're my most timeless fashion pieces, and when I take care of them, they stay in my closet for years.

9. Off-the-Shoulder Tops

Off-the-shoulder tops have had a redux lately, and they've never felt more timeless. Both sleek and structured silhouettes win in this category.

10. Shoulder Bags

Crossbody bags will still remain timeless, but right now, the fashion crowd is leaning toward shoulder bags, which also will never go out of style. Whether you go for a smaller style or an oversize bag that fits it all, you can't go wrong here.

I didn't expect fitted turtlenecks to be on my radar as much as they are this season, but right now, I feel like they're the chicest (and warmest!) option when it comes to fashion.

Let an oversize wool coat rule your winter wardrobe and I promise you that you won't regret it. It looks good with absolutely anything that you throw on.

T he best restaurateurs in Melbourne are excellent at reading the moment; giving people what they want even before they want it. And this point in time belongs to tighter budgets. The reality bites hard as corporate entertainment spends are capped and cost of living increases.

Of course, classic three-course meals and dégustations will always have their place, but increasingly, diners are looking for more entry points to the establishments they love. They want snacks at the bar, set lunch menus, express lunch deals and generous golden hours.

They want it with finesse, knowing the cash they are parting with is money well spent. As ever, hospitality is about being hospitable and some of Melbourne’s best industry minds are tailoring their menus to oblige.

If this is the year of democratic fine dining, book us in for an express table or seat at the bar.

Best lunch specials and set menus in Melbourne

A democratic peek into one of Melbourne’s most glamorous – and expensive – fine-dining restaurants, the Society Social lavish lunchtime set-price menu is not short of theatrics. It kicks off with crudites and the next-level house-made bread and butter, follows it with a dazzling selection of snacks and a main and reaches a fitting crescendo with a dessert trolley manned by white-gloved waiters.

If your heart belongs in Paris (and whose doesn’t?), book a ticket for south-of-the-river darling Entrecôte’s two- or three-course prix fixe menu . Including the likes of chicken and mushroom pâté en croûte and onion soup with extravagant Gruyère croûtons, it’s a flurry of Gallic charm enjoyed amid a fit-out conjuring fin de siècle France.

Chris Lucas’ towering Japanese restaurant on Flinders Lane has unveiled a new seasonal offering of weekday lunch set options , perfect for the time-poor and hungry. Between 12 and 2.30pm Monday–Friday, choose from one of four main dishes: chicken katsu with rocoto chilli, teriyaki and fried shallots; Angus Misuji with cured egg yolk and seasonal vegetables; tempura tofu somen with chilli ponzu; or chriashi tuna, salmon, kingfish and ikura. Mains are all paired with miso soup and will cost guests a cruisey $29.50.

Lazy Sundays are most definitely a thing at Peter Gunn’s bijou finer-diner Ides. Changing weekly, the five-course One Day Sunday set menu is tailor-made for a late lunch or early dinner – or why not segue from one to the other with the help of a killer wine list that leans into minimal-intervention, biodynamic labels from across the globe?

Private school belt favourite Centonove has won the hearts of locals over the past 25 years with its confidently luxe Italian food, and its prix-fixe menus are the cherry on the panna cotta. Tuesday to Saturday lunches offer a particularly wallet-friendly two courses for $79 from the á la carte menu – just don’t forget school pick-up.

Best happy hours in Melbourne

Henry Sugar

Get shucked at cosy Carlton North bolthole Henry Sugar, where oyster happy hour features $2 bivalves every evening from 5pm to 6pm. For an extra 50 cents each you can have the premium Sydney rock oysters anointed with condiments such as fermented green chilli mignonette, Davidson plum granita or buttermilk and dill.

Trust an Italian aperitivo bar to celebrate happy hour in style. Each Saturday from 3pm, $25 buys you two hours of chichetti (Italian snacks including salumi, bread and dip laid out for everyone to share) along with spritzes, wine or beer. Sig. Enzo will even throw in the Italian tunes for free.

Botanical Hotel

Even the well-heeled residents of South Yarra love a happy hour bargain . Their favourite clubhouse, the legendary Bot, is the scene of happy hour revelry every Sunday to Thursday from 4pm to 7pm, with $8 wines and Carlton Draught plus $12 Venetian Spritz, $15 Negronis and $17 Pol Roger Brut to really perk things up.

Head down Louisiana way, metaphorically speaking, at this hipster-certified New Orleans-styled smokehouse, with happy hour $12 Hurricane cocktails featuring white and dark rum rubbing shoulders with pineapple, passionfruit, lime and bitters. Celebrated every day from 4pm to 6pm, happy hour extends its generosity to selected beer and wine.

Melbourne’s contemporary Japanese diner Saké has launched Saké Hour, running every Tuesday through Sunday from 4–5pm. Available exclusively in the bar area, the happy hour sees $7 beers, $10 wines and $12 cocktails, plus a stack of value-packed snacks — think edamame, chicken karaage,and popcorn shrimp.

Bang Bang’s happy hour goes off with a, well… bang. Guests are invited to enjoy shucked-to-order oysters for just $2 each, as well as a raw tasting plate (a tantalising combination of punchy snapper ceviche, Hiramasa kingfish sashimi and Pacific oysters with a black garlic ponzu sauce for $35, and cocktail specials for just $15 each.

How does a $10 margarita sound? Make that a Don Julio base, and we think Mesa Verde might be slinging some of the most affordable happy hour Margs in Melbourne. This very happy hour runs from 4-6pm Tuesday–Saturday, with the full snack menu served from 4pm and the à la carte menu available from 5pm. To make things even sweeter, every Tuesday from 4pm till late, enjoy every taco on Mesa Verde’s menu for $5 a pop.

We see an oyster and Taittinger deal, we fall a little bit in love. If you’re looking for a pre-dinner treat or a casual catch-up with some friends, Half Moon is serving $3 freshly shucked oysters and $15 glasses of perfectly chilled Taittinger on Fridays from 4-6pm. Salud!

Best bar menus in Melbourne

The little sister to celebrated restaurant Gimlet at Cavendish House by Andrew McConnell, Apollo Inn is an intimate space with only 30 cosy seats. Gimlet head chef Colin Mainds has created a sharp-shooting menu of snacks and share plates to match the timeless venue’s petite space – think zesty gildas and a creative prawn and spanner crab spin on the classic club sandwich alongside imported cheeses, beef carpaccio, and crème caramel for dessert. Time to rethink that dinner reservation at Gimlet!

Lui Bar at Vue de Monde

What does a beef sausage roll taste like on the 55th floor of the Rialto Towers? Obscure, but guests can now enjoy the famous Tower’s panoramic views without committing to Vue de Monde’s full degustation at the in-house Lui Bar. Beef sausage rolls aren’t the only thing this sleek little bar is serving up, though; think an earthy mushroom vol-au-vent, or fried chicken with crème fraîche and punchy fermented chilli.

Every Thursday night from 5.30pm, The Espy is serving a 30-layer lasagne accompanied by endless garlic bread for $30 per person. Yes, 30 layers of house-made pasta sheets, pork and veal sugo, ‘nduja sauce and bechamel in one rich, comforting lasagne— perfect for a cold Melbourne winter’s night. Plus, a vegan option is also available.

Shane Delia’s Middle Eastern flagship restaurant Maha turns 15 this year – perfect timing to welcome bar Jayda next door. Rocking a 1960s Beirut-meets-New York vibe, the glamorous digs are home to Levantine-accented cocktails such as the Strawberry Cream Negroni and a list of bar snacks that read like a full meal, from the ethereal beauty of cured kingfish and taramasalata tarts to the gutsy post-midnight appeal of the pastry-wrapped lamb shoulder with dipping jus.

Navi Lounge

It takes time to score a seat at Julian Hills’ Yarraville fine-diner, but the arrival of Navi Lounge next door has thrown open the doors of spontaneity. Joined to the dining room through an archway, the little sibling has expanded the Navi repertoire into a moody-hued bar with next-level cocktails (ever had a Martini made with green ant gin, mustard leaf and rocket vodka, and sage vermouth?) and high-flying snacks that might even give a sneak peek at Navi dishes in the making.

Ignore the dressed-up couples in the low-lit dining room and take a seat in the conjoined wine bar. Here Scott Pickett delivers a commitment-free, reward-heavy retinue of snacks – braised lamb croquettes with harissa mayo, puffed beef tendons with faux bacon and fried school prawns with sauce gribiche – exerting their own gravitational pull, alongside cocktails and a killer wine list.

Cutler & Co

Second string but not second fiddle, the vibrant bar at Andrew McConnell’s Fitzroy fine-diner is a destination unto itself. Overlooking the kinetic energy of the impressive kitchen, it’s a place to park yourself for the signature burger and dazzling array of seafood, including the comfort of spanner crab and nettle soup to an indulgent fondue.

The “relaxed fine dining” of St Kilda’s Stokehouse becomes even more chilled at its adjoining bar. Primed to enjoy the dazzle of the beach and the bay, the chic bar and terrace is the place for punchy snacks and caviar bumps, backed by a list of cocktails with the dial set to artisanal.

Elon Musk welcomed a new baby with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis earlier this year. But while the public is just finding out via media reports, the tech tycoon tells Page Six exclusively that his latest bundle of joy was far from a “secret” — adding that issuing a press release would’ve just been “bizarre.”

“As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that is also false,” he says. “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret.'”

The baby is Musk’s 12th child , and his third with Zilis, who works for his brain implant company. The name and sex of the new baby have not been revealed yet.

Musk, 52, has been outspoken about his concern over population decline .

His latest child was first revealed in a Bloomberg article published Friday and titled, “Elon Wants You to Have More Babies,” focusing on his obsession with birth rates.

The story said Zilis declined to comment and that Musk did not respond when asked about the newborn.

The billionaire tells Page Six, “Many countries are already well below replacement rate, and the trend is that almost all will be. This is simply a fact, not a ‘debunked theory.'”

He adds that “2.1 kids is replacement rate, and obviously the world as a whole will soon drop below that point.”

The existence of Exa, also known as Y, came out in a Vanity Fair article when the child began crying as Grimes was being interviewed. The headline called the infant, “Her Secret New Baby With Elon Musk.”

Despite the messy custody battle, the SpaceX founder was spotted with his 4-year-old son , X (born X  Æ A-12), at  the Super Bowl  in Las Vegas in February, the  Tesla plant in Germany  in March and most recently the  Cannes Lions festival in France earlier this month.

He also shares twins Griffin and Vivian and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian with ex-wife Justine Musk. (The former couple’s eldest child, Nevada, died at 10 weeks of sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS.)
