Tokka Safaris has been operating snowmobile safaris in Levi since 2016 and has grown year on year in line with demand. Our main goal from the beginning has been customer satisfaction and we stick to it.

We organise unforgettable experiences in the magnificent nature of Lapland, where there is always something interesting to see and experience. Thanks to our modern equipment, snowmobiling is safe and comfortable. And our team will make sure that the safaris have a relaxed and fun atmosphere. They also make sure that no natural phenomenon or event is missed by accident.

You can sign up for safaris alone or in a group. What better way to boost the spirit of your work community than an unforgettable experience in nature? Safaris are also ideal for families and groups of friends.

You can also go on your own by renting a snowmobile. You don’t have to be experienced in the driving, as we always give you a training session before you jump on the handles of the snowmobile to give you the skills you need for safe driving.

Meet Santa Claus

Ho ho ho! Welcome to join me from the beginning of December until the first week of January for an adventure on a snowmobile through a snowy winter landscape or in the comfort of a warm minibus. I look forward to welcoming you in my beloved cabin, where the Christmas spirit is always present. You’ll also get to go on a reindeer ride and present me your gift wishes.

Unforgettable experiences

You’ll find a wide range of unforgettable snowmobiling experiences, which we have combined with interesting side programmes. Who wouldn’t want to experience the Northern Lights or the stunning ice sculptures of the Lainio SnowVillage? On our ice fishing safaris we always catch a great snowmobile trip through Lapland’s nature, sometimes even a record fish. On a family safari, children can also go snowmobiling safely.

Our favourite! To Kätkätunturi fell

We head out and drive to Kätkätunturi fell, towards and old Hanhipirtti wilderness cabin. There we enjoy a warm drink with a bun, then continue our journey back to Levi. The safari is about 25 km long. Great for families too.

We care for your safety

Listen carefully to the instructions we give you before your safari. Wearing appropriate clothing under your driving gear is an important way to make sure you don’t catch cold. Pay attention during the driving instruction and listen carefully. Our professional guides will help you at every turn, but by being attentive when giving advice, we can concentrate on enjoying the journey on the trail. Our snowmobiles are always in good condition and our safari groups are small, so you’re in safe hands.

Such an incredible experience, exciting and beautiful in equal measure. I was a bit cautious before we arrived being mindful of animal welfare but was completely reassured that the dogs are happy and healthy and very well cared for. A big thank you to our guide for the day Joel who was very informative and kind. The sledding was totally exhilarating! a unique experience that we will never forget.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! We had the pleasure of having Mallu as our guide and she was so friendly and professional! After a beautiful ride in the snow we were aloud to pet the dogs, which of course was so incredibly fun and lovely! Definately recommend joining the Husky safari ✨

Then gave us some warm clothing. You get by pair on the sledge's and swap at half. It was really beautiful and nice. The dogs seem to be well treated. Then you have some explanation and warm drinks.You go see the puppies.Good experience.

This was a wonderful experience! Our host/guide Audi was personable, helpful, and made everyone feel at home with his clear instructions. Our 13-year-old loved driving a sled. The scenery was beautiful and the dogs were so excited to run. It was great to hang out with and pet the dogs after the trip through the forest. At the end, Audi gave a very informative talk about raising and caring for the 198 dogs at the husky farm. Don’t miss this safari!

The snow mobile tour was incredible, definitely our favourite thing to do in Lapland by far! It is really fun and the views are amazing. 2 people share the snowmobile, but you stop half way through to change drivers and have a hot drink. There are lots of good photo opportunities! Our tour guide, Ferenc is great - he is very informative, kind and took us to amazing spots to get some great photos.

Fantastic 2 hour husky trip with knowledgeable tour guide. Ride went through beautiful scenery and driving the sledge was an amazing experience. Loved seeing and interacting with the huskies and puppies at the end of the trip. Would highly recommend booking this. Husky and co staff were great with changing our dates from last year and replied to emails very quickly.

Our guide was Johanna and she was brilliant, very helpful and friendly. We had so much fun, the changing area was so clean and organised, the huskies were so friendly and social and they seemed so happy when we approached them. The route was magical and was just an amazing experience

We did the Husky tour and reindeers at night. Both were awesome. The Huskies fun and good if you want some action. The reindeers relaxing and special. Also super interesting if you talk about the animals with the tour guide. Both very recommended. We got our reindeer drivers license xD

Hundeslæde safari

En hundeslædesafari er med garanti noget der falder i god jord i hele familien – store som små – specielt, hvis man er glad for hunde. Her vil man blive mødt af de smukke og energiske husky-racer, der velkommer dig med spændte og forventningsfulde gø. Der vil blive tid til at hilse og klappe hundende, inden vi begiver os ud på en spændende husky-safari, eller slædehundetur, som det også kaldes. Vi skal ikke mange meter væk fra husky-gården, inden hundende stopper med at gø og i stedet sætter sit fokus på arbejdet; nemlig at føre dig gennem det smukke snelandskab på toppen af en slæde. 

Den finske Aurora

Besøger man Rovaniemi – som er en del af Lapland – bør man ikke snyde sig selv for at opleve nordlyset. Det er nemlig et af de bedste steder i Norden, hvis man vil opleve det fascinerende naturfænomen, der maler himlen grøn under en stjerneklar himmel. Der er flere måder at opleve nordlyset på. Enten kan man tage på en udflugt, hvor vi gør stop på de steder, som hver især giver de største – og bedste – muligheder for at opleve lyset. På rejserne følger en lokalguide, der nok skal sørge for, at du får nogle gode billeder med dig hjem. Du kan også overnatte på et af de klassiske iglo-hoteller, hvor du kan opleve lyset gennem det glasklare tag.

Snescooter safari

På disse rejser kan man for alvor få adrenelinen op, når man suser over sneen på toppen af en snescooter. Turene starter med en sikkerhedsbriefing fra lokalguiden. Herefter lærer du at køretøjet at kende, hvorefter vi begynder vores safari. Under turen kører vi gennem nogle af de smukkeste skovområder Rovaniemi – og resten af Finland – er så kendt for. Undervejs bliver der forskellige fotostops, så du nemt kan misunde enhver derhjemme. Guiden sørger også for lidt varmt at drikke undervejs. Med andre ord; stemningen er i top og den sneklædte natur er fantastisk!

I Santa Claus Village finder du den perfekte julestemning, med mange små boder, hundredvis af lys og selvfølgelig julemanden. Vaattunki Wilderness Resort - Panorama Hut

Vaattunki Wilderness Resort ligger omgivet af natur- og vandrestier, blot 24 km fra Rovaniemis centrum. Vaattunki Wilderness Resort ligger i området omkring polarcirklen, hvilket gør lokationen til en af de absolut bedste, hvis du vil se nordlys.

På Vaattunki Wilderness Resort er der fælles sauna og udendørs spabad, som kan reserveres når resortet er åbent i vintersæsonen. Morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad serveres i den hyggelige restaurant i samme hovedbygning med reception. Vi serverer lappisk mad i den arktiske vildmarks ånd, men med et moderne touch. Måltider serveres som buffet.

Vaattunki Wilderness Resort tilbyder behagelige saunaoplevelser. Den store Riverside Sauna kan bookes privat til gæsterne på forhånd eller på stedet. Ved siden af ​​Riverside Sauna har vi et dejligt spabad med en spektakulær udsigt over det omkringliggende flodlandskab. (Mod gebyr)

Panorama hytte 25 hytter er bygget af lokalt fyrretræ der tilbyder moderne lappisk arkitektur. Hver hytte måler 16,5 kvm og har et panoramavindue med udsigt til den smukke natur. Hver hytte er egnet til 2 personer, med 1 ekstra seng til rådighed. Eget toilet og badeværelse er at finde i hytten.

Riverside Apartments Familieværelserne ligger knap 250-meters gang væk fra lobbyen og restaurantbygningen. Hver chalet har 2 soveværelser med 2 enkeltsenge, hyggelig stue, TV og spiseplads, lille køkken, toilet, egen sauna med brusebad og egen indgang. 4-5 personer heraf 1 person på sovesofa.

Skiferie i Finland

Danskerne har i de sidste par år opdaget Finland som vinterferieland, specielt Lapland. Sæsonen er meget lang i Finland, den begynder i november og endnu i begyndelsen af maj kan man eksempelvis sagtens stå på ski i Lapland p.g.a. store sne-anlæg. De fleste skiområder, specielt dem i Lapland ( bl.a. Ylläs og Levi ), er gode for skiløbere på alle niveauer, med både alpint skiløb og langrendsløjper af skiftende sværhedsgrad. Indkvarteringsmulighederne er mange, lige fra luxushoteller til hytter, lejligheder er endnu ikke særligt udbredt i Finland.
