LP Giobbi & DJ Tennis To Charter Airstream Across The US For “All In An Airstream Tour”

' src=

LP Giobbi and DJ Tennis are setting off on a North American road trip tour in a mobile studio. The tour is entitled the “All In An Airstream Tour.”

The pop-up performances will take place throughout the spring until May, with stops in North Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Colorado, plus several shows in California.

LP Giobbi and DJ Tennis will be interacting with local musicians, creating culinary experiences, and playing shows with special guests to be announced along the Airstream tour.

DJ Tennis is the founder and A&R of Life and Death Records and grew up managing punk bands before forming DAZE , Italy’s first booking agency solely devoted to electronic music.

Then, in 2010, he shifted to crafting his own music and has headlined events all across the globe.

LP Giobbi is one of the most exciting artists to arise in dance music in the last few years, as well as the co-founder of FEMME HOUSE, a collective and nonprofit organization fostering equal opportunity for women and nonbinary artists in music.

FEMME HOUSE provides educational resources and scholarships, cultivates community, and supports career development for future music professionals.

LP Giobbi is a DJ, producer, pianist and activist who is quickly rising to superstar status, earning over 102M streams across platforms and hotly tipped as Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador, Spotify RADAR’s Artist to Watch, Amazon’s Artists to Watch and TIDAL’s Artist to Watch 2023.

Since emerging in the dance scene in 2018, she has performed her “one-

woman jam band” DJ sets blending her decks with her live piano plus sampler at high-profile

festivals including Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest

and Creamfields. She's also supported iconic artists like Pete Tong (opening up for him two

nights at London’s O2 Arena and then sitting in with the Ibiza Classics orchestra on a grand

piano to play a song she wrote with them), Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Mochakk, DJ Tennis, Dead &

Co, John Summitt and Sofi Tukker, everywhere from Fabric in London, Red Rocks

Amphitheatre in Colorado, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, to Amnesia and Ushuaïa

in Ibiza. Wanting to change the statistic that only 2% of producers are women, she has

provided thousands of female and gender-expansive individuals access to production

workshops, online courses, and scholarship programs for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC creators with

her nonprofit FEMME HOUSE. They have also done stage takeovers at EDC and Hulaween

Music Festival, as well as a Femme House Tour in partnership with Ableton that included in-

person workshops during the day and booking all female/gender expansive lineups at night all

across the US in 2022. She was also nominated for Breakthrough Producer in DJ Mag’s Best

of North America Awards and landed on the cover of Spotify's Best of Electronic Music 2022.

Now signed to Ninja Tune's Counter Records, LP Giobbi will be releasing her long awaited

debut album, Light Places, on May 12, 2023. In January 2023, she shared an official remix

album of The Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia’s 1972 solo debut album, Garcia remixing the

album in its entirety. This comes as a career highlight amongst an already impressive

collection of remixes LP Giobbi has done for the likes of Portugal. The Man, Kx5, Diplo &

LP Giobbi opens the door to ‘Light Places’ ahead of US Airstream tour [Interview]

“I never thought I’d make an album,” says LP Giobbi (real name Leah Chisholm), W Hotels Music Director and FEMME HOUSE founder. “I thought I’d be a DJ and just put out singles,” she admits. “But one day, I met with Pete Tong . And he told me, ‘You know you’re an album artist, right?'”

May 12 marks the official release of the former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch’s debut studio album, Light Places , which is now streaming everywhere via Counter Records. “I wrote Light Places on airplanes, in trains and hotel rooms… And then I flew to Paris where DJ Tennis helped me run it all through vintage synths. He has an insane studio in Paris, with at least $150,000 worth of synthesizers… We ran all the album’s MIDI parts through his synths, recorded live drums, layered them over electronic drums, and brought everything into the same sonic realm,” she says. Coincidingly building her repertoire for her upcoming Dead House after parties, Giobbi says her debut album’s concept originates from a profound Grateful Dead lyric: “Once in a while / You get shown the light / In the strangest of places / If you look at it right.”

LP Giobbi shared a first taste of her debut project last year in August, delivering “ Forever And A Day ,” featuring Caroline Byrne. Since then, she’s devised a trail of six early-release singles. Her most recent offering, “All I Need,” landed not long ago on April 18, right between her back-to-back Coachella sets in the Yuma Tent. “ All I Need ,” Light Places ‘ final preview piece, samples Clyde McPhatter’s “The Ties That Bind.” “My publisher has the rights to a bunch of different catalogs,” Giobbi told Dancing Astronaut . “Sometimes I’ll get sent these massive libraries, like The Motown Catalog, for example. ‘The Ties That Bind’ by Clyde McPhatter really grabbed me, so I isolated the vocal and built ‘All I Need’ around that… You find your own euphoric joy in sadness, and [McPhatter’s] vocal really screamed that to me.”

Light Places arrives just weeks ahead of Giobbi and DJ Tennis’ recently announced All In An Airstream tour run. From within the confines of an Airstream trailer, the two DJs are preparing to embark on a cross-country roadtrip, offering intimate performances, plus DJ Tennis-led culinary experiences, across a variety of small towns and cities in the United States.

“This tour is a reason for me to just go live my life! There will be a few times that I’ll have to fly in or out, but I’ll mostly be moving only as fast as a car can move. We’ll be popping up in weird places, like literal caves. And the forest, among other non-traditional spaces… We’re touring the Moog Factory at our first stop in Asheville, where we’ll be building synthesizers and interviewing one of the lead designers who worked with Bob Moog. Every stop has something like that. We’ve been working hard to connect with independent promoters to discover the coolest, weirdest thing we can do [in each city].”

2023 is shaping up to be LP Giobbi’s most impactful year to date. From her infectious single releases, to playing both weekends of Coachella, to gearing up for her Dead House and Airstream tours, and now embracing Pete Tong’s irrefutable career advice, LP Giobbi is a force to be reckoned with. And with that, cheers to Light Places . Stream LP Giobbi’s debut studio album below.

LP Giobbi: Light Places Tour

Queens, New York

lp giobbi dj tennis tour

LP Giobbi has firmly established herself as a once-in-a-generation artist. She's brilliantly discovered the sweet spot that marries her patchwork of sonic influences, taking notes from jazz, electronic, classic rock, and classical. On November 18th, we welcome The undisputed Queen of Piano House to the historic Knockdown Center for her biggest New York headline show to date.

LP encapsulates everything we love about dance music culture: a dynamic range of unbridled talent, a fierce activist spirit, and a courageous DIY mindset. Ever since her 2018 debut, she's stepped further into her role as one of dance music's boldest change makers. Her catalog brims with an array of intensely creative works ranging from the soaring vocals and joyous piano stabs of "Say A Little Prayer" to the uplifting "Sinner" with Bklava. She's channeled the spirit of her Deadhead upbringing, finding the inflection point between peace-loving generations of hippies and ravers with the groundbreaking Garcia(Remixed) , completely reimagining The Grateful Dead in a way only she could. And her stunning debut album Light Places , further proved her visionary status and a future that sees her transitioning from house music producer and DJ to fully-fledged sonic storyteller.

LP performs with a sense of unbridled joy and passion. Never for a moment standing still as she hops from the decks to her keyboard with the brightest of smiles. She isn't just a joy to watch; she's a wonder to experience. Building on her roots in classical jazz performance, she's taken the improvisational nature of a rockin' DJ set and added her own flair accenting her impeccable selections with live sampling and gorgeous piano riffs.

LP is in a lane of her own when you consider her nearly 3M monthly Spotify listeners, her releases on venerated labels like Ninja Tune, Defected, and Insomniac, and her stacked performance schedule that takes her to festivals and clubs worldwide. But beyond the indelible mark she's left on music, she's done just as much for the community with Femme House. The artist collective and educational platform gives women and gender-expansive people more visibility in music through education, scholarships, and professional development opportunities.

Electronic producer Bad Snacks has teamed up with LP Giobbi for her "Light Places" tour. After immersing herself in LA's vibrant beat scene for several years, she has distinguished herself as a genre-defying tech enthusiast, wielding a synthesized violin and singing during live performances like her set at Imagine Music Festival.

An artist of LP's caliber deserves an equally impressive venue. The Atrium at KDC is outfitted with one of the most unique lighting systems found anywhere in New York, accented with an array of beam lights and strobes running along the length of the cabin-like ceiling, and a constant rotation of LED boards, spotlights, hanging lights, and disco balls elevating the experience.

Prior to her Light Places tour shows, LP Giobbi's non-profit FEMME HOUSE will be hosting an Intro to Ableton Live Session, which offers participants foundational skills in Ableton Live. RSVP to the workshop here and start your musical journey!

Billboard Explains: Dua Lipa's Radical Chart Achievements

Trending on billboard.

Over the past few years, as she picked up steam with a string of euphoric singles (including “Sinner” with Bklava, “Somebody To Love” with Ben Kim, “Say A Little Prayer” with Amazonian Rockstar, “Carry Us” with Kaleena Zanders), she had over 13 labels reach out to her, eventually finding a home with Ninja Tune’s Counter Records. All the while — on trains and planes and in stolen moments in airports, hotels and rented studio space — she was writing her debut album Light Places , out this past Friday, May 12.

The album is a kaleidoscopic sonic tapestry of synths, percussion, LP’s signature piano riffs and a chorus of uplifting female vocalists including Sofi Tukker, Caroline Byrne, Little Jet and Monogem. There’s a strong undercurrent of joy throughout, yet many of the tracks showcase a different side of LP’s sound, particularly the stripped-down beauty of opener “If Love Is A Skill” with her longtime champion Sofi Tukker, along with the psychedelic sun-soaked vibe of “All In A Dream” with DJ Tennis and Joseph Ashworth and the sweet melancholy of “All I Need.”

Beyond additional dates in Ibiza and Brazil, a residency at Superstition in Austin and multiple treks across North America, she’ll also be serving up her Grateful Dead -inspired Dead House shows for official Dead & Company afterparties — which, as the daughter of Deadheads, is something she’s still freaking out about. Jerry Garcia’s estate also recently tapped her to remix his 1972 debut solo album via Garcia (Remixed) , a trippy marriage of LP’s love of jam bands, psych rock and dance music.

It’s all wonderful — and a lot to unpack. Below, the producer breaks it down.

Did having the format of the album and the pressure of it being your first help you hone in on your sound or the way that you worked on the songs?

Up until now, I’ve been a singles artist. The best thing about this process for me was that it allowed me to write B-sides [ lets out sigh of relief] , tracks that didn’t need to be hugely successful on Spotify or have a vocal hook in the first 10 seconds.

I wrote most of the album on planes, trains and in hotels. Then I flew to Paris and got in the studio with [DJ] Tennis and [Joseph] Ashworth and [Michael] Cheever. We took all the MIDI parts and rerouted them through vintage synths; we were in this amazing studio that had every vintage synth possible. We put everything into the same world sonically. We also recorded live drummers and layered that with electronic drums.

This album isn’t necessarily for the club, it’s more of a musical journey. I actually ended up making club edits for pretty much all of the tracks, which are the versions I play out, but the album itself got to stand alone and fueled me in a different musical way.

Well, you never know. You know you’re done when the label’s like, “We need the f—ing album.” When I signed this deal, I really took my time. I had 13 label offers. I picked the label thinking, “How do I want this music to identify? Who do I want this music to identify with? How do I want it to be seen or shaped?” So, when I landed on Ninja Tune, I had an idea of how deep I wanted to go with the album versus a more mainstream dance label.

I had hundreds of bits of songs and maybe 50 tracks. And I started road testing some of them to see what’s working for the dance floor, and maybe what’s not; I wanted to balance both. Along the listening process, the album told me what it needed. I just had to listen.

The album sounds like you sat down and spent time with it.

Oh, my God, I wish. I’m always writing and always touring. I’m hearing more artists all over the world and I’m deeply influenced by what I’ve heard and where I am. The music I’m writing now is very much for the club, I don’t want any vocals on it. It’s sort of the opposite direction [of the album]. It’s been fun to see where this body of music takes me.

I wanted to talk about “All I Need” and its interlude with the sweet voicemail — is that your grandma?

It’s actually [my tour manager] Xander’s grandma. We had just played this amazing gay music festival, Utopia, in Isla Mujeres. The day after, the promoter took us out on a boat, and Sophie was there and we were having drinks. It was one of those “life is good” moments. Xander’s grandma Shirley called him the next day and [left a voicemail saying], “I hope you got a good tour, I saw you sitting on a boat with a drink in your hand, looking like a millionaire.”

It’s from the song “Scarlet Begonias”: “Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.” I was in Australia and was feeling extremely ungrounded and untethered. When I’m home, my dad and I pass a notebook back and forth to write a poem together. I called him and asked if we could do that when I’m on the road. Now, we write a poem before every show I play. It brings me back home. On his 70th birthday, I made it into a book for him, and it’s now a merch item . It’s my favorite thing that I do.

That’s so great.

I was like, “Dad, I need a name for my album. What are some of your favorite Grateful Dead lyrics?” He sent me this huge email where he broke down all of his favorite lyrics to different songs. I had just finished a gig in Ibiza, it was four in the morning, and I’m reading his email. I was deliriously tired and read that line and “light places” danced in front of me. I realized, “that’s LP.” It’s so funny how language can give meaning to us. I realized that’s what I want to do, create emotionally light places for people.

When I first started pursuing music, I didn’t know if it was a worthy enough endeavor. I was in school and did a lot of women’s empowerment studies and wanted to be an activist. My mom said, “The Grateful Dead shows that me and your father went to would hold me through and are what gave me so much joy in my life. If that’s what you do, that’s enough.” That is what I want people to feel when they leave my show.

How have your parents inspired you?

They also really instilled the importance of live music in me at a very young age. There was always music playing in the house and we were always going to shows. That was kind of our church, standing in a community of people, being part of something greater than yourself. Also, they’re front row for everything. Every iteration of everything that I’ve done, they’ve been there cheering me on.

I played with Dead & Company and there’s a great video that somebody took where my mom is wearing my merch, riding the rail and as the song drops, she just starts head banging and smacks the person next to her.

What was it like playing with Dead & Company?

It was crazy. It’s Dead & Company’s last tour, and I’m doing their after parties in some key markets. I got to introduce my parents to Bob Weir , their hero. My mom said to him, “Thank you so much for all the joy you’ve given my family over so many years.” And he put his hand to his heart and said “The pleasure is all mine” with the most sincerity in the world. Deadheads are f—ing crazy; that fan base is so intense. To have toured and done this for 60 years and to have heard that and still “hand-to-heart” feel that way was mind-blowing. It was such an inspirational moment to me.

And you remixed one of Jerry’s albums. How did you get connected with them?

I became a female producer and in order to be taken seriously, I started wearing baggy clothes. It’s really f—ed up. My parents gave me their vintage Grateful Dead shirts, so I started wearing those, and children of Deadheads started connecting with me. In fact, DJ Tennis and I became friends because I went to one of his shows and he was wearing a Grateful Dead shirt.

I did a livestream that Bob Weir was also on, and his manager saw my set and called him. The Garcia estate — his daughter, Trixie Garcia — reached out to me and asked if I wanted to do an official remix for the 50th anniversary of his first solo album, which was crazy.

Jerry’s voice is like my uncle. It’s the voice that I heard the most in my house growing up. It was overwhelming, and an honor. Then they asked me to play at their festival and do these after parties for the last tour.

When you got asked to do the remix album, were you worried about messing with it?

For sure, the pressure was so intense and so real. There are some old school Deadheads that f—ing hate what I did, and they were not afraid to let me know. At first, that made me really sad [because] I’m just trying to bring this music to my community. But I had a few amazing moments that made that not matter to me.

I played my first Dead House show in Eugene, where I’m from, and this father and son flew in from L.A. and New York to come to the show. Afterwards, the dad pulled me aside and was like, “We’re a dysfunctional family. My son and I do not get along, and we hate each other’s music. I’m a Deadhead and he’s a raver. This was the first two hours that we’ve been in a room and shared happiness, affection and joy together. Thank you so much for providing that.”

You occupy this psychedelic space in dance music that is very fresh and inviting. Is that intentional or just a product of who you are, and the music that you were raised on?

Can you speak to your creative relationship and friendship with Sofi Tukker?

I owe a lot to them. The biggest currency you can be gifted is belief. And they did that from the very beginning. They saw me play a horrible DJ set, I didn’t even know how to DJ yet, and I was opening up for them at an afterparty at a festival. I was in a band at the time. They were like, “We loved your energy, we want you to go on tour with us.” They were doing their first tour and had just released “Drinkee.”

I literally learned how to DJ in front of their loving audience. I was so f—ing bad, and they gave me so much love and support. I’d get offstage and Tucker would give me some tips and talk me through the set. They literally built stages for me and started a label [Animal Talk] for me to release music. They have supported me every single step of the way. Their friendship and support have meant the world to me. Seeing the power that artists can have on another artist’s career was a huge influence for me to start Femme House and pay that forward.

What’s the next era of Femme House? Where are you taking it? It’s grown so much.

That’s a really good question and also overwhelming. My co-founder Lauren Spaulding and I have tried to do dream sessions, but I couldn’t even dream that this was possible. I’m hoping it naturally reveals itself. I’ve sort of spent my whole life driving and grinding, and now I’m really hoping that I’m in a phase where I can lean into the more knowing feminine energy and wait for it to come to me.

What has helped you the most in getting to this point? Did getting the right team impact where you’re at?

I always say I won the lottery twice. Once when I was born to my parents, and then again when I got my piano teacher. That has continued to happen, via the people I met in my life who have supported and encouraged me and shown up and given me opportunities. That’s mostly why I’m here. I do work my ass off, but it takes so much more than that.

I have a really, really good team now. My day-to-day Julie is a beast. I’m gonna give a ton of credit to Xander. I would not be here without him, on an emotional and physical level. He does what I do, except his job is way worse. He has to be the first one up and the last one to bed and always shows up with a smile.

Do you dream of a Billboard hit?

No, I really don’t. Fame is a funny thing. The tiny bit that I’ve experienced of it, I’m like, “no.” At the end of the day, I want to be on my deathbed really proud of my art.

Watch The Final Episode Of LP Giobbi’s ‘All In An Airstream’ Travelogue & Check Out 2024’s Tour Dates

Uproxx authors

Completing her three-part travel docuseries, global dance music superstar and activist LP Giobbi has released the final episode of All In An Airstream .

Teaming up with DJ Tennis, LP Giobbi’s three-part docuseries highlights the duo’s 20-day cross-country road trip in (you guessed it) an Airstream motorhome. The tour – which made stops for pop-up performances in forests, lesser-known venues, and even a library – allowed the producer to slow down and connect more intimately with her fans.

Fans were able to watch the two producers embark on the first leg of the tour in Asheville and Nashville in the first episode , while the second episode showed Giobbi and Tennis popping up in an abandoned aircraft at Tucson, AZ’s Pima Air & Space Museum, cooking meals in the desert, creating magic in Escape Studios in Pioneertown, CA, igniting fire beats in Joshua Tree, and more.

lp giobbi, airstream

In the final episode, the road tripping duo vibe out on Italian accents and lead a crowd down the streets of Santa Barbara, CA while playing a mobile DJ cart before returning to Giobbi’s college roots in Berkeley to perform at Amoeba Music, conjuring perfect creative symmetry at Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, meeting up with DJ Chloé Caillet in Sun Valley, ID, and parking the Airstream tour at Club Superstition in Austin, TX.

“There’s nothing like watching people dancing and smiling while you play,” Giobbi notes. “Sometimes I daydream of the days of rock n’ roll and not having to do Instagram…what a dream. I used to think it was a selfish endeavor to pursue being an artist, but it was my mom that said her happiest memories with my dad are going to Grateful Dead shows and that fueled them to push through everything and anything. So this job was an important one and I feel very honored to be a part of it.”

To celebrate the fully released docuseries, LP Giobbi has announced her return to the open road with a set of Airstream tour dates. This year’s tour will see the producer perform at scenic stages across the Northwest, including Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and more. Fans can RSVP for additional information and tour dates here .

LP Giobbi shines in New York City on ‘Light Places’ tour

New York City was brimming with positive energy as a multitude of concertgoers flocked to see a headlining set from piano house queen LP Giobbi at the Knockdown Center in Queens on Saturday, November 18.

Establishing herself as more than just a producer and DJ, LP Giobbi delivered an uplifting and energetic performance that was all-encompassing.  The riveting experience sent the crowd into a dancing frenzy as she injected vocal samples, performed the piano live, and shook the stage with her signature tracks off her recent Light Places album.

The artist kicked off her performance with the iconic vocal sample of Sophie Hawley-Weld from Sofi Tukker in the joint LP Giobbi album collaboration, “All My Life.”  Enveloping the crowd with gorgeous piano melodies, the artist seamlessly infused vocal samples from Goose’s Reimagined mix of “All I Need.”  The artist picked up the pace with other notable releases, “Follow the Loop” “Forever and a Day” and her most recent release titled, “Waiting” off of Diplo ’s Higher Ground label which skyrocketed the energy of the crowd to another level.

Joining the artist on stage was vocalist Caroline Byrne performing, “Feels Just Like It” and further adding to her set was opening act Bad Snacks who performed a spellbinding performance on the violin as LP Giobbi shined on the decks to a burgeoning climax of “Georgia.”

The electrifying concert continued with her release off her new Yes Yes Yes imprint with Defected Records , “Time Expands” and closing out her set was the LP Giobbi Club Edits of “All In A Dream,” “Can’t Let You Go,” “Free” (Do What U Want) and her remix of Taylor Swift’ s “Cruel Summer.” The refreshing display of talent left the audience gratified for being able to witness it all first-hand live.

Light Places which was released back in May showcases the depth and versatility of the artist and transcends the dance music genre by merging elements of soul with enveloping bass lines, piano insttrumentals, guitar riffs, and emotive vocals. The album is loaded with an array of LP Giobbi’s most distinguished releases that have accumulated millions of streams on Spotify.

The artist is currently on tour to support her most recent album, Light Places in addition to hosting a series of afterparties to support her new imprint, Yes Yes Yes launching on Defected Records.  It is no surprise that the in-demand artist has sold out practically all of her shows from San Francisco, to Boston, to Chicago, and even Canada.  To purchase tickets or for a full list of tour dates and  information on the artist, please visit her official website.

LP Giobbi Announces Debut LP ‘Light Places,’ Shares Single “Can’t Let You Go”

LP Giobbi Announces Debut LP ‘Light Places,’ Shares Single “Can’t Let You Go”

Yesterday, producer, DJ, pianist, activist and Grateful Dead interpreter LP Giobbi announced her highly anticipated debut LP Light Places will release on May 12, 2023, via CounterRecords. In celebration of the announcement, LP Giobbi released a single off the record titled “Can’t Let You Go,” featuring the indie pop duo Little Jet on vocals.

The album is dedicated to LP Giobbi’s parents, who enkindled her free-spirited approach to life and music and also supported her goal to become a classically trained pianist. Her parents, much like herself, are lovers of the Grateful Dead, and in their honor, she pulled the words for the title of the project from the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias.” She explained in a press release, “‘Once in a while You get shown the LIGHT In the strangest of PLACES If you look at it right.’ These are some of my dad’s favorite Dead lyrics and almost a philosophy for the way he lives and taught my brother and me to live.” She went on to add, “I am a seeker of light places both in the physical and the divine. I believe in letting yourself get lost and finding out it’s exactly where you were supposed to be. I hope this album helps you tap into your joy and light.”

Much of the album was created in airplanes as LP Giobbi traveled, connecting with melody without distractions. With the quiet hum of engines, she explored the possibilities of dance music outside the studio and high above dance floors in the clouds. By doing so she locked into improvisational jazz and jamband fundamentals; soon after the foundations were materialized, LP Giobbi was able to reach out to other artists to add to her work, tapping a lineup of impressive features, including SOFI TUKKER, DJ Tennis, Joseph Ashworth, Caroline Bryne and more.

Of the new single featuring Little Jet LP, Giobbi said, “I thought about my love for Polo & Pan and how fun it would be to make a song to be consumed during a pool time hang with friends. I sent the track to Little Jet – my favorite new band who is making music reminiscent of that amazing washed out / Beach House era but dare I say even more electronically savvy. They wrote the vocals ‘can’t let you go’ and also added some cool Juno synths.”

Throughout the offering, LP Giobbi continues to pay homage to the music, people and artists who helped shaped her soul through moments of individual and collaborative excellence. The resulting project reflects her own spirit for others to explore, with values that support family, exploration, equality and her love for another everlasting spirit, that of the Grateful Dead.

“I am grateful and proud to be raised by two magnificent Dead Heads who have danced their way through life seeking joy, sharing love and cherishing moments,” she added.

In January, LP Giobbi released a remix album of Jerry Garcia’s seminal 1972 debut, Garcia and performed at Dead & Company’s destination event, Playing in the Sand. Ahead of the release the artist spoke with Relix , and expressed her desire to show the beautiful world of the Grateful Dead to the dance music community.
