Android Auto on Dodge Journey, how to connect

Dodge Journey supports Android Auto that lets you access your Android apps like YouTube Music, Google Maps, Waze and Spotify through the infotainment screen of your vehicle. You can also make phone calls, send messages or use navigation with voice commands using Google Assistant.

Install Android Auto on your smartphone

You must have an Android device with 5.0 Lollipop or newer version to use Android Auto on Dodge Journey. Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher version is recommended for optimal performance. If your device has Android 9 Pie or older operating system, you must first download Android Auto app from Google Play Store, otherwise the app is built-in.

If you want to use “Hey Google” service with Google Assistant in your Journey, make sure the feature is enabled on your device. On your Android phone, open the Google app. At the bottom right, tap More . Then go to Settings > Voice > Voice Match and turn on Hey Google .

Connect phone to Journey’s USB port

Connect your Android phone to your Dodge Journey USB port using an original USB data cable.
Accept Android Auto terms and conditions in your vehicle, if any appear.
You may be prompted to give certain permissions to Android Auto app on your phone, like managing phone calls and SMS messages. Grant all required permissions.
After a few seconds Android Auto will launch on your Journey’s infotainment screen.

Android Auto not working on Dodge Journey

If Android Auto does not start on your Journey when you plug in the USB cable and there is no Android Auto icon in the list of apps in the infotainment system, it can be due to a number of reasons:

You’ve an older model of Journey that does not support Android Auto. Only 2022 and later model year Dodge Journey vehicles are compatible with Android Auto.

If you still can’t connect Android Auto in your Journey, then you should get your vehicle checked by an authorized Dodge dealer.

Using Google Assistant on Dodge Journey

Google Assistant is an artificial intelligence–powered voice recognition feature by Google that helps you to concentrate on the road while driving your Journey as you can control the functions of your Android device with voice commands.

The virtual assistant allows you to place phone calls, listen to and send text messages, play music, get directions and use other functions of your Android phone hands-free. You can even ask Google Assistant for current weather conditions, stock prices or upcoming events on your calendar.

To access Google Assistant, press and hold the talk button on the steering wheel of your Journey until you hear an audible alert.

Not all apps are compatible with Android Auto

SMS messages and WhatsApp can be controlled almost exclusively via Google Assistant. Android Auto also helps drivers make phone calls, respond verbally to texts, or listen to podcasts and music. There are lots of apps that are compatible with Android Auto, including Waze, Pandora, Spotify, Facebook Messenger, Audible, and more.

It’s easy to use Android Auto hands-free just by saying “ Hey, Google ” to turn on the Google Assistant. The Assistant can help drivers answer a question, play a song, read a schedule or reminder, or give the weather. While the system works hands-free, it works best if the phone is plugged in with a USB cable.

Android phones that have Lollipop 5.0 and higher, with the Android Auto app, are able to work with Android Auto in the vehicle. Phones that have Android 10 operating systems don’t need the app since Android Auto is included.

This allows the driver to use Android Auto’s simplified menu with its larger icons. Voice commands and the Google Assistant are also available. Even without the Android Auto app, smartphones can be paired to the infotainment system using either Bluetooth or a USB cable to let the phone use the Journey’s speakers.

Tech and safety in the Journey

In keeping with the lack of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility , the Journey also doesn’t have much technology or many advanced safety features.

However, there were rumors of a revamped Dodge Journey even before the announcement. So, fans were sure of the Journey’s return, even if it did so wearing a different badge.

As it turned out, the rumors were true. Indeed, the Journey was on a return trip, and it wasn't trailed by its predecessors. The 2022 Dodge Journey is something very different. Its design is based on the GAC-made compact crossover - the Trumpchi GS5 . Behold the all-new, redesigned 2022 Dodge Journey, specially built for passenger comfort and safety until the journey is over. Do you wonder why FCA quit the Journey in the first place? Here’s a glaring one. With features like a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine churning out a boring 173hp in what is supposed to be a 7-passenger, long trip vehicle, the Journey couldn't keep up with the competition for at least the past ten years. The 2022 Dodge Journey Offers Great Power And Performance

Beneath the hood of the Journey sits a 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder engine. What does this mean for the power and performance of the 2022 Dodge Journey?

It seems not such a thrilling improvement on the 2019 Dodge Journey, except that the 1.5L comes with the BorgWarner electronically controlled actuator alongside the 2nd-gen Bosch high-pressure injection system. The result of this combo is a Dodge Journey with improved fuel economy, combustion stability, and lower emission.

The BorgWarner is a low-inertia turbocharger specifically built to assist low viscosity oil while operating at low noise and vibration. So, what this means for the Journey’s performance is that the prayers of fans who wished for an end to the boredom of a slower-than-expected crossover utility vehicle have been answered.

The turbo-rated gas-powered engine ensures more boost when throttled while also delivering better fuel economy than its predecessor with a 2.4L engine. The 1.5L engine is tied to an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. The Aisin lends its prowess to fuel efficiency, adaptive intelligence control, and fast reaction shifting.

The motor is capable of 169 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Honestly, the absence of a V6 engine in the 2022 Journey makes one wonder if this China-built CUV is meant to have children, or will the Journey be discontinued again? The most-likely prediction is that the rumors of an in-development model based on the Alfa Romeo Stelvio are true.

The 2022 Journey is not targeted at the US market. The GAC/Stellantis partnership exports the rebadged vehicle to the Mexican market. We know the market gets the Journey in three trims- SXT, Sport, and GT. These three offer enough options for the various customer driving needs.

With the GT, customers can expect a Journey with enhanced speeding and endurance capabilities for long-distance driving. While the "Sport" speaks for itself, the consensus on the SXT is Standard eXTra, which means the SXT trim is right there between entry-level and frontline capabilities.

What features of Apple Car-Play do you require that 6.4 w/o navi doesn't already have? The dumb moment: Let me just get this out there: Why not get a good phone mount and get a Tablet or use your phone to supplement the existing 4.2 or 8.4 display. This will cost near zero if you already own the phone mount and phone, and will provide greater function that Android Auto as you can use your phone in its entirety without the gimmicky safety limitations of Android Auto not letting you text and stuff... I mean, will android auto let you watch netflix while you drive? Probably not (as its a stupid and dangerous idea) but a phone in a phone mount can! I don't know if android still has this feature, but my old HTC Evo had a car mode which gave only 6 icons. (kind of a precursor to Android auto) I know that's not the point of you asking, hearing someone tell you the obvious. So- Let's dive right into what you want to hear!

What I suggest investigating is to somehow splice into the reverse camera wiring and run an aftermarket Android Auto module. there would be no touchscreen compatibility from the 8.4, but you could do screen mirroring, and splice in your audio from the aux jack using a 3.5mm y-splitter. I think, (and this is pure speculation) that all you'd need to do to spoof this is have a dedicated switch on the side of the console, when flipped on it would sent 12v to the reverse signal wire (which triggers the screen to change over the reverse camera composite video input. As there is no power to the reverse camera, there would be no video signal. (if the signal wire goes generate a video signal from the rear camera, then use the same (or separate switch) to toggle a composite switch box- So- when this switch is toggled, have the aftermarket Android Auto unit send video signal through the reverse camera signal wires, either through y-splice or via the aforementioned composite switching box. This is based on some research i did when I wanted to add 4.2 navigation+rearview upgrades which would toggle on-off in a funny annolog fashion whenever the 'screen off button' was pressed. I understood they were basically switching a single push button with a 4-way cycle switch which cycled between 1. screen normal 2. screen off (it just streamed a video of a black image) 3. Video feed from Garmin's screen 4. video feed from reverse camera. If there exists an android auto auto autoauto module that just sends out video signal, then you'd be able to somehow send it through the reverse camera line. You might get 'check surroundings for saftey' overlay but- hey. almost there! ____ Lastly, I just wanted to mention that on the Chevy VOLT (my other car) there was a crazy guy who went all in on upgrading the touchscreen to android auto. It ended up using a raspberry-pi and way too much programming to get the touch screen to work mostly seamlessly. Good luck on your pursuit.

And one more thing, there seems to be more information on this on the Challenger/charger forums. you might find some info on the Durango forums too. Although this thread goes nowhere, allegedly someone got it to work. Ontario has some very strict laws on Handsfree devices and even the notion of reaching to touch an iphone that is mounted, while technically is legal to do, still has caused some to be pulled over and ticketed anyway under the Drive, Hand-Held Device rule here. Being a CMV driver, I'd rather not take the risk at all and stick to touching a screen if need be that is a part of my vehicle. I'll take a look there and see. I am looking to add CarPlay to my Cherokee. Looked at NUMEROUS sites, this one seems the easiest and least intrusive for the Jeep. Just waiting for them to get more in.. Not even sure they support the DJ, but it’s worth a look.

I saw this as well. Mind you, between the various reviews you will find on Google of them, and the complaints on the BBB, I would be very careful. I would only trust it if someone came back stating they installed it and it works great. But based on the reviews I have seen so far, it has been nothing but trouble for others.

In my 09 DJ I pulled out the factory system (UConnect would not work with our new iPhones) and installed a Kenwood unit. Works like a charm. Wireless CarPlay, better sound, better unit. Lost nothing as far as wheel controls, etc. never had HVAC,etc on factory unit. I went through Crutchfield....

Actually I did purchase this week! It's already in Ontario and ready for delivery.

I'll be installing it next week with a lot of pictures to be taken.

A lot of updates! I'll keep posting as get more experience...

Unit arrived.
Is a newer generation that allows wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Installation was pretty straight forward, although I had and should investigate the microphone setup. I'll explain further down.
Connection to backup camera is already done through the cable - there's more options for extra cameras or after market.
All you need is to press the back button to change between Uconnect and the Interface.
It DOESN"T need any mod to the screen. you just plug the screen "LVDS" to the cable supplied.

It takes the reverse video signal rom the factory wiring/plug.

Also all touch screen features are fully functional on both the original UConnect and new interface

Does the factory console USB jack stay functional and the second corded USB input in pic act as another input?

No issues with heated seats and heated steering wheel , you have them correct.

If you don’t have a factory back up camera already and only bumper back up sensors; you can plug and play an aftermarket cam without any extra programming ? With screen mirroring and data so cheap now, you could just run Waze which has reasonable traffic updates ; forget about the factory nav altogether. Nice to have both options. Thanks again for all the info.

Factory console USB still works and plays. Pictures attached.

If you don't have factory camera, this system has the RCA plug and the wiring. Additionally has in both cases extra video inputs for front camera and aftermarket parking sensors.

I had to remove the screen so I could pass cables and install.

I installed it behind the screen. No modifications... Just plug , test to be safe and put back.

Support is great form the Italian supplier. I don't find these latest units being sold elsewhere, including AliExpress.

I assume that I, not the interface, did something wrong with the OEM Mic. I couldn't get it to work. That's why I installed the supplied one.

Note that using the supplied mic you can still use the VR button on the left steering wheel control. Press it and triggers either the Apple Siri or Google assistant. It does also activates the Uconnect VR but i say the command, the interface/phone listens and processes. Then i just press VR again to cancel the Uconnect attempt.

Things I don't like: The next/previous track don't work as it's connected via AUX1. I'm playing still with settings on phone, android auto and the interface as I don't like the interface connecting and showing up on screen as soon as i get into the car. I would prefer to idle and only starting when i press the back button which is the way to change systems.

Do you get limited to using your phone for music, or can you use the interface while using your car's radio?

As far my experience goes, when using the interface there's no radio. I either use my phone's music on the microSD and native music player that shows up in Android Auto, or just use Amazon Music which is not heavy on data.

That would be a reason for me to think about it. I guess I could let the SiriusXM subscription for this car go, and stream from my phone...

No wiring striping at all specially if use the supplied microphone.

I do have and use Sirius on the car. But note that we also have the Sirius XM app.... and Sirius sounds BETTER via the app.

Agreed. And the app allows you to move between car and house listening to a specific show (CBS Sports Radio shows for me in the mornings...)

And I can always keep the other subscriptions in the account active. I am very tempted to spend the US $400 on it

After being discontinued for the 2020 model year in the US, the Dodge Journey is back. Well, sort of. Last week, the new 2022 Dodge Journey entered production , but it isn't being built for the US market.

Although there were rumors that a next-generation model is in development based on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the 2022 Dodge Journey is a rebadged version of the Trumpchi GS5 SUV sold in China. In partnership with Stellantis, GAC Motor will export the Journey to the Mexican market. Now, Stellantis has revealed the specifications of Mexico's reborn Dodge Journey.

Compared to the Trumpchi GS5, the 2022 Dodge Journey has a larger grille with a gloss black finish, giving it a more premium appearance. It also features LED headlights and 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels depending on the trim.

Under the hood, the 2022 Dodge Journey is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo rated at 169 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. McPherson independent front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension ensures a smooth ride even on rough roads.

In Mexico, the 2022 Dodge Journey will be available in three trims: SXT, Sport, and GT. As standard, SXT and Sport trims include an analog instrument cluster and a seven-inch LCD digital information screen, while the GT trim gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. An eight-inch central touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is offered as standard for all trims.

A 360-degree camera is included with Sport and GT trims. In Mexico, the 2022 Dodge Journey will start at 555,900 pesos ($27,075 USD) for the SXT trim, 615,900 pesos ($29,997 USD) for the Sport, and 645,900 pesos ($31,458 USD) for the GT. Sales of the 2022 Dodge Journey will start at the end of October.

Uconnect ® Bluetooth Pairing Guide

Step 1: Complete the following steps on the system:

First, press the 'Phone' icon on the Uconnect ® Touch Screen.
Press 'Yes'

Step 2: Complete the following steps in the phone:

Select 'Uconnect' as the paired device.
When prompted on the phone, enter the 4-digit PIN number shown on the Uconnect Touch Screen and accept.

Step 3: Complete the following steps on the system

Once paired, you can set your phone as the favorite by pressing 'Yes.'
Your phone is now paired and ready for hands-free calling.
Press the Uconnect Phone button on your steering wheel to begin.

If you are experiencing connection issues or connections are dropped after connection, make sure the devices are are close as possible. Phones will connect more reliably when close to the in car system. You should also ensure there are no obstructions between the phone and car, and pairing issues can also occur if the phone is in a pocket or bag. Proximity is particularly important when it comes to pairing.

This is a known issue with some specific phone models, please check for an updated Android version for your phone. Manually reconnect the phone in Bluetooth settings and select the car system from the phone's Bluetooth paired device list.

Make sure the phone you want to use is compatible. Use the Mopar site https://www.mopar.com/en-us/care/bluetooth-pairing.html to look up your phone and check its performance. Very occasionally a phone will not be compatible with your car system. More frequently you may find certain functions are not supported. The list of supported functions is displayed for most popular phones in the Bluetooth connectivity center. After finding a phone you can view a detailed list of supported functions and view a help guide.

History of Tomsk

Foundation of tomsk.

According to a large number of archaeological finds, people lived on the territory of today’s Tomsk long before its foundation. At the end of the 16th century, by the time the Russians began to actively explore this region, Siberian Tatars and nomadic peoples at war with them lived here.

In January 1604, a delegation headed by Toyan, the prince of the Eushta Tatars, came to Moscow to the Russian Tsar Boris Godunov with a request to accept them into Russia and to protect them from the attacks of warlike neighbors - the Yenisei Kyrgyz and Kalmyks. In response, Boris Godunov signed a charter on the construction of a town on the lands of the Eushta people on the banks of the Tom River.

In June 1604, the fortress of Tomsk was founded on the southern promontory of Voskresenskaya Mountain towering over the right bank of the Tom. Therefore, the City Day of Tomsk is celebrated on June 7th. In the fall of 1604, all construction work was completed. Tomsk became an important strategic military center. Throughout the 17th century, it protected the local population - in 1614, 1617, 1657, and 1698, the fortress repelled the raids of nomads. In 1635, the population of Tomsk was about 2 thousand people.

Tomsk in the 18th - early 20th centuries

In the 18th century, the borders of Russia moved far to the south and east, the raids of nomads stopped, and Tomsk lost its defensive significance. In 1723, about 8.5 thousand people lived in the town. From the middle of the 18th century, due to its remoteness from the European part of the country, it was used as a place of exile. After the creation of the Siberian Route, which ran from Moscow through Tomsk, the town became an important transit trade center.

In 1804, Tomsk became the administrative center of the huge Tomsk Governorate, which included the territories of the present Republic of Altai, Altai Krai, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, and Tomsk Oblasts, East Kazakhstan Oblast (Kazakhstan), western parts of Khakassia, and Krasnoyarsk Krai. It also became the cultural and economic center of the south of Western Siberia.

From the late 1830s to the middle of the century, the population of Tomsk grew rapidly thanks to the increasing gold mining in Siberia. In 1888, Tomsk University was opened - the first university in Siberia. At the end of the 19th century, during the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway, it was decided that it should go much south of Tomsk. As a result, it lost its importance as a transport hub.

By the beginning of the 20th century, over 60 thousand people lived in Tomsk. The city had electric lighting, trams, and a telephone network. By 1914, Tomsk, with a population of 114 thousand people, was among the 25 largest cities of the Russian Empire and ranked first in terms of trade turnover in Siberia.

Tomsk after 1917

After the revolutionary events of 1917, Tomsk became a center for the opposition to the Bolshevik forces in Siberia. Until the end of 1919, the city served as a place for the formation and training of units of the White Army.

The period from 1918 to 1940 was a time of relative decline in Tomsk. There was a significant outflow of the population to the fast-growing Novosibirsk and other cities located on the Trans-Siberian Railway, because Tomsk lost the status of the administrative center of the region. In 1925, Tomsk became part of Siberian Krai. In 1930, it was transformed into West Siberian Krai. In 1937, Tomsk became a city of Novosibirsk Oblast.

During the Second World War, about 30 enterprises from the European part of the USSR were evacuated to Tomsk, which became the basis of the city’s industry. During the war years, the volume of industrial production in Tomsk tripled. From 1940 to 1944, the number of residents increased from 145 to 178 thousand people. On August 13, 1944, Tomsk Oblast was formed, and Tomsk became its administrative center.

In the post-war years, new industries appeared in Tomsk - optical-mechanical, electrical, mechanical rubber. Metalworking and mechanical engineering, food and light industries grew significantly. The development of the city and the region was also largely connected with the beginning of the industrial development of oil and natural gas fields.

In 1970, Tomsk, which had a large number of preserved monuments of wooden architecture of the 19th century, was given the status of a historical city. In 1989, the population of Tomsk exceeded half a million people.

In the 1990s, in Tomsk, as in most cities in Russia, there was a decline in industrial production, especially in mechanical engineering focused on military government orders. In 2004, Tomsk celebrated its 400th anniversary.

Tomsk - Features

Tomsk is located in the very heart of Siberia, about 3.6 thousand kilometers east of Moscow, on the border of the West Siberian Plain and the spurs of the Kuznetsk Alatau on the right bank of the Tom River, 50 km from the place of its confluence with the Ob River. The city is located on the edge of a taiga natural zone.

It was named after the Tom River on which it was founded. The researchers of the 18th century derived the hydronym “Tom” from the Ket word “tom” meaning “river”. The City Day of Tomsk is celebrated on June 7.

The climate in Tomsk is continental-cyclonic (transitional from European temperate continental to Siberian sharply continental). Winter is harsh and long, the average temperature in January is minus 17.1 degrees Celsius, in July - plus 18.7 degrees Celsius.

The international airport Tomsk (Bogashevo) named after Nikolai Kamov offers regular flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Surgut, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Ulan-Ude, Ufa, Nizhnevartovsk, and a number of other Russian cities.

The current coat of arms of Tomsk is based on the coat of arms adopted in 1785. The silver horse was placed on the coat of arms as a sign that “the horses of this area are the best and the Tatars living nearby have stud farms”. The silver horse remains the symbol of Tomsk to this day.

Tomsk is the oldest educational and scientific center in Siberia. Today, students make up one fifth of the population of Tomsk - more than 117 thousand people.

Wooden architecture of Siberia is a bright page in the history of Russian architecture. In Tomsk, wooden architecture is original and expressive. It is here that whole groups of wooden buildings of the late 19th - early 20th centuries have been preserved. You will need at least three days to explore the large number of local attractions.

Main Attractions of Tomsk

Voskresenskaya Gora (Mountain) - the place where Tomsk was founded. Here you can see such sights of Tomsk as Beloye (White) Lake, Voskresenskaya (Resurrection) Church built in the rare Siberian Baroque style in 1789-1807, the Makushin House of Science - an architectural monument of the early 20th century, which houses the puppet theater “Skomorokh”, the Polish Church (1833). The best view of the surroundings opens from the Museum of the History of Tomsk.

Museum of the History of Tomsk . The building of this museum stands out for its unordinary architecture - a stone building crowned by a wooden observation tower, which you can climb and see Tomsk from above. Here you can find exhibitions about peasant and merchant life, a collection of porcelain, and other interesting historical and archaeological exhibits. One of the most interesting exhibits is a wooden monument to the Russian ruble - a copy of a 1 ruble coin, but 100 times larger than the original. Bakunin Street, 3.

Lagernyy Sad (Camps Garden) - a park with an area of about 40 hectares located on the right bank of the Tom River. Several thousand years ago, ancient settlements were located on this very place. The park got its name due to the fact that the summer camps of the Tomsk infantry regiment were located here in the 18th-19th centuries. Today, it is a huge green area with a large population of animals and birds.

Novo-Sobornaya Square - the central square of Tomsk. The architectural appearance of this square began to take shape in the 1840s. In 2003, the square was decorated with a fountain, in 2004 - a monument to the students of Tomsk, and in 2006— the Victory Alley memorial complex.

Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore - the largest museum in Tomsk Oblast with more than 140 thousand exhibits. The museum occupies an Empire style mansion of the 19th century and is dedicated to the history and culture of the Tomsk region. Among the most interesting collections are bronze items of the 5th-2nd centuries BC, old handwritten books, Russian silver coins, ceramics, furniture, personal funds of major researchers and architects. A tour of the museum can take several hours. Lenin Avenue, 75.

Tomsk Regional Art Museum . It is housed in a magnificent red brick and sandstone mansion built in 1903. This museum has an excellent collection of paintings, graphics, sculpture, arts and crafts, and icons. The exhibition includes canvases created by European painters of the 16th-21st centuries, Russian and Soviet artists of the 18th-21st centuries. Nakhanovich Lane, 3.

Museum of Wooden Architecture . The exposition of this museum is devoted to the main periods in the history of Tomsk wooden architecture. The building of the museum is an architectural monument of federal significance. The main exhibits are wooden fragments of houses (window frames, cornices, pilasters, examples of carved decor). Dozens of contemporary craftsmen showcase their talents in artistic woodworking in a separate hall. Kirov Street, 7.

The First Museum of Slavic Mythology . This museum offers a look at the origins of the Slavic religion - or rather, what was before the arrival of Orthodoxy. The museum collection is dedicated to Slavic epics, folk tales, and their heroes. Zagornaya Street, 12.

“The NKVD Investigative Prison” - a memorial museum located in the basement of the former NKVD prison. It is dedicated to the memory of people who suffered from repression during the Soviet era. The complex consists of the Square of Memory and the exhibition itself. The permanent exhibition is housed in a makeshift prison hall, cells, and the investigator’s office. The collection consists of documentary materials, photographs, handicrafts of prisoners, and their personal belongings. Lenin Avenue, 44.

Monument to Anton Chekhov - an unusual sculpture standing on the embankment of the Tom River opposite the restaurant “Slavyansky Bazar” (the oldest restaurant and one of the oldest buildings in Tomsk, Lenin Square, 10). The monument was created by sculptor L.A. Usov with voluntary donations. The master embodied the image of Chekhov “through the eyes of a drunken man lying in a ditch” according to the inscription on the pedestal. In 1890, during his visit to Sakhalin, Chekhov stayed in Tomsk for a week and found this city boring and not worthy of attention.

Monument to Happiness - one of the most original monuments of Tomsk. It is a bronze figure of a full, extremely pleased, and impudent wolf from the great Soviet cartoon “Once upon a time there was a dog”. Shevchenko Street, 19/1.

Epiphany Cathedral (1777-1784) - one of the oldest churches in Tomsk. This magnificent building constructed in the Siberian Baroque style is located in the very heart of Tomsk. Lenin Square, 7.

White Mosque (1914) - a majestic building constructed in the neo-Moorish style with stone carvings, lancet windows, and doors. Lugovoy Lane, 18.

Siberian Botanical Garden . The garden covers a huge area, more than 120 hectares. There are almost 8 thousand species of plants here including tropical and subtropical. Most of the trees, shrubs, and flowers can be found outdoors. Its grandiose greenhouse is one of the largest and highest in the world. Lenin Avenue, 34/1.

Tomsk State University - this building of the oldest university in Siberia, founded in 1888, is one of the most recognizable symbols of Tomsk (Lenin Avenue, 36),
Garrison House of Officers named after N.N. Yakovlev - a beautiful brick building with original decor (Lenin Avenue, 50),
Tomsk City Hall (1899) - an eclectic three-story mansion built of red brick and light sandstone located in the city center (Lenin Avenue, 73),
The estate of I.D. Astashev (1842) - a magnificent palace that once belonged to the gold miner Astashev, one of the most beautiful buildings in Tomsk (Lenin Avenue, 75).
