VIP Experience Days At West Midland Safari And Leisure Park

Their VIP Tours are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for animal lovers who want to witness what goes on behind the scenes at the Safari Park!

Before we open to the general public, you will get the opportunity to go through the Safari Drive-through in an actual safari vehicle. Your guide will share intriguing information and insights into the caretakers’ and animals’ daily lives. Their rhinos, giraffes, sea lions, and even some of their new arrivals will be up close and personal.

£185.00 per person (over the age of six).

For just £925.00, you may book exclusive usage of the whole jeep (seats up to six people).

You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at their cutting-edge African Lion House, as well as meet and feed their pride of lions, including their newest recruits!

£175.00 per person (over the age of 6). Children between the ages of 6 and 15 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

This experience allows you to meet their lemurs and participate in their feeding in one of the UK’s largest Lemur Woods. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with their friendly lemurs.

£40.00 per person (over the age of 12). Children aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult who will keep an eye on them from the path.)

Giraffe Feed

Come face to face with their giraffe herd and join in their morning meal. You will be escorted by a personal Safari Guide for the duration of your 30-minute experience, who will tell you intriguing information about giraffes and answer any questions you may have.

£100.00 per person (over the age of 6).

Star of the Sea Lion show

Meet a sea lion up close and personal while teaching them some skills and receiving a thank-you kiss on the hand! You’ll be welcomed up on stage after seeing one of their regular Sea Lion Shows!

£30.00 per person (over the age of 5). The Sea Lion Show Experience does not include admission or ride wristbands.

Penguin Feed

This trip allows you to visit Penguin Cove and get up and personal with their Humboldt penguins. You will learn everything about the penguins during this 20-minute experience while providing enrichment and feeding them fishy delights.

£65.00 per person (over the age of six). The Penguin Feed Experience does not include admission or ride wristbands.

Before the Park opens to the general public, you will get the opportunity to meet and feed their tigers as part of this experience. You’ll be transported to the tigers in a Safari vehicle, where your 30-minute experience will begin. Then you’ll have the chance to visit with one of their knowledgeable Carnivore Keepers, who will gladly answer any questions you may have.

£130.00 per person (over the age of 6). Children between the ages of 6 and 15 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

Indian Rhino keeper for the day

This incredible opportunity will allow you to meet, feed, and care for their three Indian rhinos. Help with morning rituals and training exercises at the Indian Rhino House. You’ll also be able to join the Keepers on patrol and observe the other creatures in the Asiatic area.

£175.00 per person (over the age of 16).

Lemur & Meerkat keeper for a day

This incredible opportunity will allow you to meet, feed, and generally care for their African Village babies, providing an amazing personal interaction with these adorable creatures.

Ever fancied working at one of the region's most popular attractions surrounded by some incredible wildlife? If so, you may be in luck - West Midland Safari Park (WMSP) is currently looking for a VIP tour guide to join its team.

The Worcestershire park wants someone "confident, motivated and enthusiastic about wildlife conservation" to provide an unforgettable experience for guests who have booked a variety of VIP experiences. The job advert continues: "These allow the guests to get a closer and personal view of our amazing animals.

"The VIP guides also deliver our keeper for the day experiences so the role will also include some husbandry work within our wildlife animal areas. You will require good wildlife knowledge and be confident when interacting with the guests and looking after their needs."

The advert adds: "Due to driving in animal restricted areas you will hold a full, valid driving licence. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends and bank holidays."

The lucky applicant who ends up getting the role will benefit from a range of perks, including a WMSP Annual Pass which gives them and their family and friends free admission and theme park wristbands. There's also a 35 per cent discount in the park's retail and catering outlets, 24 hour access to an online doctor and counselling access.

VIP MINI KEEPER EXPERIENCE – EXTRA INFO

• Meeting, feeding and helping to care for animals such as chinchillas, rats, meerkats, ferrets, rabbits and even some fascinating invertebrates
• A keeper certificate
• Suitable for children between the ages of 5-9 years.
• One parent may accompany the Mini Keeper to watch during the Experience, but they will not be able to participate.  They will only have access to the Safari Walk areas, and will not gain access to the Safari Drive.
• Maximum two children per day.

VIP CARNIVORE KEEPER EXPERIENCE – EXTRA INFO

LION LODGE – OPENING SOON

We will be offering luxury overnight stays with lions in early summer 2023! The accommodation will be authentically integrated into the brand-new lion habitat, located past our African Village. Guests will experience an immersive and unforgettable overnight wildlife encounter, like no other.

The Lion Lodges will feature open-plan living and luxury interiors, with breathtaking views from every room into the new lion habitat, through floor-to-ceiling windows.

TIGER LODGE

We will be offering luxury overnight stays with Sumatran tigers in autumn 2022! The accommodation will be authentically integrated into the newly built tiger habitat, giving guests an immersive and unforgettable overnight wildlife encounter, like no other.

The tiger lodges will feature open plan living and luxury interiors, with breathtaking views from every room into the new tiger habitat through floor to ceiling windows.

Our two exquisite, five-star cheetah lodges offer an exclusive and immersive stay, which cannot be experienced anywhere else in the UK.  

The authentically-themed, detached lodges offer a large living space for up to six people, with dining area, bathroom and WC.

Panoramic views of the cheetahs’ new habitat can be witnessed through the large windows that span one side of the lodge.

In the separate bedroom, guests will find a king-size bed with twin single bunkbeds above, perfect for young adults or children.

The bedroom also includes a floor-to-ceiling window, offering a stunning view of the cheetahs – you could be waking up with one at the foot of your bed!

Additionally, there is a veranda, offering comfortable seating for you whilst you eat your breakfast and look out across the spectacular views.

Breakfast and evening meal are included, cooked onsite by our team of experienced chefs.

Our brand-new, incredible elephant lodges offer an overnight stay like nowhere else in Europe. They are the only place where you can wake up to an amazing view of African elephants, making the experience truly unique.

The six luxurious, authentically-themed lodges have thatched roofs and can accommodate up to six people.

Each lodge has a large, open-plan living area with a lounge and dining area. A bathroom with WC and a large balcony, incorporating an outside seating area, complete the downstairs living space of each lodge.

Stairs lead to an upstairs bedroom which overlooks the elephants’ brand-new habitat, providing fantastic views as the sun sets. There is also the opportunity to add an extra bed or cot for small children.

Your evening meal and breakfast are included, cooked onsite by our team of experienced chefs.
