trip & tour: go on/take/make/do

Hello there, little question about the verb I should use with trip and tour: 1)I go on a tour/trip 2) I take a tour/trip 3) I make a tour/trip 4) I do a tour/trip So, which one of these are English? I would say, 1 + 2 are fine but I'm not so sure about 3 + 4 Thank you!

1 sounds best to me, and 2 sounds better with trip than tour. 3 and 4 don't sound good, you're right. If anything, though, they alter the meaning from 1 and 2. 1 and 2 seem to mean that you're going on a trip or participating in a tour, while 3 and 4 sound to me like you're organizing them. If that's the case, I'd use the verb organize (a tour/trip).
