Great service. I had the biscuits and gravy. Very yummy. Eggs were a wee bit over, wanted them over easy but they came medium. Otherwise a very enjoyable breakfast.
Great service. Good hot food options in the gas station side. My husband loves New Glarus beer and found the seasonal Fat Squirrel there for the first time in years. Great halfway point to stop for us in between the twin cities and northern Wisconsin. Competitive gas prices are a plus.
Horrible Horrible food in restutant. Mt husband ordered bisquits in gravy & I otdered 6 oz sirloin and eggs. When my husbands came out we both laughed out of disbelief. They layed an old sausage patty on a dry bisquit with chunks of cold sausage links and their so called gravy looked like chicken stock and oil. Basically looked like dog vomit. My 6 oz sirloin looked like 3 ozs of scrap meat in two chunks. It was flavorless, rubbery, and old tasting. I couldn't eat it.
The store and restrooms are broken down and disorganized. The food in the restaurant was barely okay. The service was HORRIBLE. The restaurant was dead. Just 3 tables filled in a big room full of empty tables. One server and one bussing tables. The server's only apparent interest was in prepping to go home. I waited forever for initial service, then to receive my food, then to get a check. I tipped 10% (something I never do), and wish I had tipped zero. I'll not return.
unfortunately, I never made it passed the parking lot. I called inside and encountered the rudenees individual. I was feeling very sick and asked about a goody powder or BC. She said, "we don't sell that stuff" and hung up the phone. Terrible terrible service. Truckers keep pass this place, we are not appreciated
Horrible service. Waitress mumbled and seemed like a Debbie downer. Food was not very good. Soggy dinner rolls. Undercooked vegetables. And why give so much butter?
Food was great and the chips and salsa are good ,,, Im from San Antonio Texas and I know good Mexican food but this place is good .... I would come back when I have the chance ...
Great food great chips and salsa and the drinks are good also ...
Super Sunday Buffet, headed back to Utah and needed a 30 minute break and stopped here. Did not know that there was restaurant here. The price very, very reasonable and the food very plentiful and kept very clean around the buffet area.
We ate here on a Friday evening and decided to try out the buffet. The staff here are nice but if the buffet is representative of their food, it was quite lackluster. The mac and cheese had literally no cheese flavor despite looking like it came from a box of Velveeta. The mashed potatoes and bread were good, but the fried chicken was what stood out. The chicken was fried golden, crispy, and oh so delicious! It even had a tiny kick to it. After we all filled up on food, the four of us split a fried ice cream, and boy will you need a few people to take on this treat! Served in a fried tortilla bowl, the ice cream is covered in cinnamon cereal and honey then deep fried. Once cooked they cover it in whip cream and strawberries. We could not finish it as we were all so stuffed, but we had a good time trying. Next time I would rather order off the menu I think.
Great food, big variety, clean and friendly environment. The eggs Benedict is my favorite, buffet is affordable and delicious.

Officials with the City of Newport News, Amtrak and the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority recognized the arrival of Train 67 shortly after 11 a.m.
The center will provide two daily roundtrips between Newport News and Richmond, Alexandria, Washington, D.C., and other cities in the Northeast. The center also serves as a transfer point for Amtrak Thruway Bus Service, which will allow passengers to travel to Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
The 10,050-square-foot transportation hub is located on Bland Boulevard between Warwick Boulevard and Interstate 64. It offers an 8,066-square-foot station and a 1,984-square-foot canopy designed to protect travelers from the elements.
Sitting about a mile from the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport, it replaces a small, outdated Amtrak station located 9 miles to the south on Warwick Boulevard.
Originally slated to open in May or June, the $53 million project was hit by contractor delays. Amtrak officials also had to test the construction — ensuring that all 2 miles of new trackwork functioned as intended.
The majority of the cost was covered by federal and state grants, with the city contributing $1.48 million.
