Arrive in Cochin and get transferred to a luxurious hotel. Day 1 : cochin to munnar (tea garden & hill station).

Arrival at Kochi Airport assist/meet with all formalities and drive down to Munnar (140 K.M / 4 hrs), on the way visiting Cheyappara and Valara Waterfalls. The green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. Day 2 : munnar sightseeing.

Morning after breakfast proceeding for sightseeing at Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of Wastern Ghat to reach this jungle destination.   A warm welcome to GODS OWN COUNTRY- ‘Kerala’. On the arrival at Cochin International Airport, pick up the guest and straight towards Kumarakom . On reaching Kumarakom Check-in the hotel and have small refreshment.   proceed to  Kumarakom bird sanctuary, at Vembanad Lake famous for migratory birds like Siberian stork, darter, heron, egret and teal and fresh natural air. And later on experience Bay Island Driftwood Museum famous for its Driftwood Sculptures. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

  DAY 2- Kumarakom to Kovalam

  After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, we take a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India, it retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations once owned by the British they are now mostly privately owned. With sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets, and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. Evening Hi-Tea at the resort.   Kuwait fire leaves 24 families in India's Kerala state bereft

  Thiruvananthapuram: From a father-of-two who planned to leave his job to a 29-year-old due to visit his family in August, two dozen Indians from the southern state of Kerala died in a fire that ripped through a labour-housing facility in Kuwait on Wednesday, leaving their families bereft.

  Around 40 Indians died in the blaze, which also killed at least 9 other people in Mangaf city, while more than 50 were injured, according to India's foreign ministry. Most of the Indian victims came from Kerala.

  Norka Roots, a government agency for Keralites living outside the state, put the number of the state's dead at 24 with seven others injured and their condition serious. The federal government had arranged a special flight to bring the bodies, Norka Secretary K Vasuki said.

  

  Among the Keralite victims was Muralidharan Nair, who had been working in Kuwait for 32 years, including 10 as a senior supervisor in the company that owned the housing facility where the fire broke out.

  "He came on leave in December for two months with a plan to end his career in Kuwait. The company called him back," his brother, Vinu V Nair, told Reuters, adding that the family identified the 61-year-old from a list published by India's embassy. His two roommates also died in the blaze.

  Millions of foreign workers make up the majority of the labour force in Kuwait and some of its Gulf neighbours, and often live in overcrowded accommodation.

  For decades, a disproportionately large share of Indian workers in the Gulf have been drawn from Kerala, a densely packed state along southern India's Arabian Sea coast.

  News of the disaster spread quickly in Kerala. The family of Saju Varghese, 56, found out about the fire from television and social media, and confirmed his death from friends and relatives in Kuwait.

  Working in the Gulf nation for the last 21 years, Varghese planned to visit Kerala later this month to arrange his daughter's higher education.

  "The family is in a state of shock," their neighbour, George Samuel, said.

  Another victim, Stephin Abraham Sabu, 29, was an engineer in Kuwait since 2019 and called home almost daily.

  He had visited his hometown Kottayam "two or three times" since he left, and had booked air tickets to return in August for the housewarming of his family's new home and to help them buy a new car, his friends said.

  Sabu's father has a small shop in Kottayam while his mother is a housewife. His brother, Febin, also works in Kuwait but lived separately.

  All went smoothly, good srandard of accommodation and flexibility in the itinerary. Driver spoke reasonable English so we were able to communicate and he made some suggestions which were appreciated. Houseboat was relaxing, great crew and experience.

  I have full experience for describe Quick Cochin Munnar Thekkady Alleppy Kovalam 8 Days Tour and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The tour was well-planned and organized, allowing us to cover all the major attractions in these beautiful destinations in just 8 days. The tour started in Cochin, also known as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. We were greeted by our friendly tour guide at the airport who gave us a warm welcome and briefed us about the itinerary for the next 8 days. We were then taken to our hotel in Cochin, which was located in a prime location with easy access to the popular tourist spots. The next day, we visited the famous Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, which was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. The intricate architecture and beautiful murals inside the palace were a treat to the eyes. We also visited the Jewish Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. Next, we headed to Munnar, a picturesque hill station famous for its tea plantations. The scenic drive to Munnar was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Western Ghats. We visited the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Tea Museum where we learned about the process of tea-making and got to taste different varieties of tea. Thekkady was our next stop, where we went for a thrilling jungle safari in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. We were lucky enough to spot elephants, deer, and various species of birds. Thekkady is also famous for its spice plantations, and we got to see how different spices are grown and processed. Alleppey, also known as the 'Venice of the East', was one of the highlights of the tour. We stayed in a houseboat and cruised along the backwaters, enjoying the serene surroundings and delicious local food. It was a unique experience that I will never forget. The tour ended in Kovalam, a beautiful beach town famous for its white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. We spent our days relaxing on the beach and indulging in various water sports activities. Quick Cochin Munnar Thekkady Alleppy Kovalam 8 Days Tour was an unforgettable experience. The accommodations provided were comfortable, and the meals included in the tour were delicious. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore the best of Kerala in a short amount of time.
