The Official 'Jurassic World' Tour Is Coming To Montreal With Dozens Of Life-Size Dinosaurs

Hold on to your Jell-O. The Jurassic World Live Tour is coming to Montreal , bringing 24 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including a 40-foot Tyrannosaurus rex, to the Bell Centre this September. And these aren't your rigid Rainforest Café robots. Organizers promise "unparalleled arena production quality" and reptilian beasts "just like the ones in the movies, with size, speed and ferocity carefully recreated through animatronic technology and agile performers."

The event will transform the Bell Centre into the island of Isla Nublar, where, according to a show synopsis, functioning mobile viewing spheres like those in the film will "roll through the valley as scientists work to thwart a nefarious plan and save a new dinosaur from a tragic fate."

There will be six performances in Montreal across three days. All of them will be in English.

Ticket-holders will also get access to the "Pre-Show Experience," which is said to offer an "up-close look at iconic Jurassic World dinosaurs and vehicles," as well as photo opportunities with some of its characters.

Tickets are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 7.

The Jurassic World Live Tour is coming to the Bell Centre in Montreal from Sept. 8 through 10.

The Jurassic World films come to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favourite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take centre stage.  The production features more than 24 film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs, with scale, speed and ferocity, operated by animatronics and performers. Arrive early as guests who arrive 1 hour before showtime can see their favourite Jurassic World dinosaurs & vehicles up close.

With unrivaled arena production quality, Jurassic World comes to life against a backdrop of captivating scenery where dinosaurs from the iconic franchise, including fan-favourite Velociraptor Blue and a Tyrannosaurus rex more than 40 feet in length, take centre stage.  The production features more than 24 film-accurate, life-sized dinosaurs, with scale, speed and ferocity, operated by animatronics and performers.  Fans of the popular Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will also recognize Bumpy, the friendly and food motivated dinosaur, as she goes from baby to adult fairly quickly.

Jurassic World ’s unmistakable score combined with projection and practical scenery transforms the arena into the dense jungles of Isla Nublar, where real Gyrospheres roll through the valley and scientists work to unravel a corrupt plan and save a new dinosaur from a terrible fate.  With pulse-pounding stunts and an original, authentic storyline, Jurassic World Live Tour is guaranteed to make memories that will last another 65 million years.

Guests will be able to start the adventure early with a special Pre-show Experience included with all ticket purchases.  By arriving one hour before showtime, audience members can see their favourite Jurassic World dinosaurs and vehicles up close and personal, including fun photo ops with Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Baby Bumpy, and the iconic Jurassic World Jeep and Gyrosphere.

Nostalgiques ou amateurs.trices de sensations fortes et des aventures du Parc jurassique , vous devez marquer les 8 au 10 septembre 2023 à votre agenda parce qu'une expérience des plus saisissantes débarque en ville. La tournée Jurassic World et ses géants dinosaures, qui avait d'abord annoncé sa venue à Montréal en 2020, sera finalement en spectacle dans la métropole pour la toute première fois, et c'est au Centre Bell que ça se passe.

Si la production avait promis, en 2020, d'amener « neuf immenses créatures allant jusqu'à une douzaine de mètres de hauteur qui prendront vie dans un spectacle », on peut dire qu'elle a pris une coche de plus. C'est maintenant plus de 24 dinosaures grandeur nature, incluant un Tyrannosaurus rex d'environ 40 pieds de longueur, qui débarquent sur scène.

« Les fans de la populaire série animée de Netflix Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous reconnaîtront également Bumpy, la sympathique et gourmande dinosaure qui passe de bébé à adulte assez rapidement », confie la production dans un communiqué.

La musique distinctive de Jurassic World saura vous faire voyager à travers 65 millions d’années alors que l'aréna sera complètement transformé en jungle de la Isla Nublar.

Les fans de dinosaures en auront d'ailleurs pour leur argent, puisque c'est possible de commencer l’aventure plus tôt grâce à l’expérience en avant-spectacle incluse dans l'achat des billets. « En arrivant une heure avant le début de la représentation, les spectateurs pourront voir les dinosaures et véhicules emblématiques de Jurassic World de plus près et prendre des photos avec un Tricératops, un Stégosaure, le bébé Bumpy, sans oublier l'iconique Jeep et la fameuse Gyrosphère de Jurassic World . »

C'est le vendredi 8 septembre à 19 h, le samedi 9 septembre à 11 h, 15 h et 19 h ainsi que le dimanche 10 septembre à 11 h et 15 h qu'auront lieu ces impressionnants moments.
