Courtney Waldrop Shares Progress Update On Exciting New Project

Courtney Waldrop Instagram

Sweet Home Sextuplets stars Eric and Courtney Waldrop always have something going on. In addition to raising nine children, they are busy with many different projects around their home and property. They have decided to step away from their family’s TLC show , so that frees up some more time to work on their home.

As we previously reported, they did a huge home renovation, which took a while. As they’ve completed the different parts of their home, they’ve shared photos with fans. Courtney recently unveiled their completed master bathroom.

Now, the family has another plan in the works. On social media, Courtney shared an update with fans , telling them all about what’s coming up next for her family. They are working on building a chicken coop because Eric wants the kids to be able to eat fresh, organic eggs.

With 11 people under one roof, they probably go through lots of eggs each week. Being able to get them just outside their front door will be more cost-effective and much more convenient, too.

The mom-to-nine explained the project but wasn’t so sure how it would go. Fortunately, she’s shared another update now, and it looks like it’s off to a great start.

Courtney Waldrop gives fans a peek at the project.

On her Instagram stories this week, Courtney revealed that their next big project is underway. She shared a snap of Eric constructing the chicken coop frame. She wrote that “it’s coming along.” Then, she added, “I’m convinced Eric could build a real house. Don’t give me any ideas!”

In the next snap, Courtney reveals that the kids are outside supervising the project. She is holding Rivers, who’s snuggling close. Courtney writes, “Rivers loves chickens…little chickens and their mommies.”

Hopefully, the project continues to go smoothly.  Sweet Home Sextuplets  fans can look forward to more updates soon enough. It looks like the whole family is excited to add chickens to their property and enjoy fresh eggs whenever they’d like them.

Then, it will be time to begin another project. Who knows what the family will take on next?

The Waldrops Raise 9 Kids on New TLC Series ‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’

Imagine going from 3 kids to 9! That's what happened for Courtney and Eric Waldrop when they found out they were pregnant with sextuplets after trying for one more sibling for their already 3 boys! New TLC series Sweet Home Sextuplets, premiering Tuesday, September 18th at 10/9c, will follow this tight-knit family living in a small town in Alabama as their lives are turned upside down by 6 miracle newborns! See adorable family photos of the Waldrops here! After childhood sweethearts Courtney and Eric Waldrop had their oldest son Saylor, a miscarriage tragically revealed that Courtney had a blood clotting disorder which could risk both baby and mother's life, so they turned to fertility medication. The medication was a success when they got pregnant with their now five-year-old twins, Wales and Bridge. But they got the shock of their lives when trying again and discovering that Courtney was expecting six! We'll see the Waldrops' journey from the beginning, with the first episode showing Courtney at 25-weeks pregnant and already on strict bedrest. Because they live over an hour from the hospital where a team of over 30 staff members are assigned to the Waldrop delivery, anxieties are high to make sure everything goes according to plan. Cameras follow the tail-end of Courtney's pregnancy, including a gender reveal attended by the whole community, the arrival of all six babies and their immediate admittance to the NICU.

But as all parents know, the birth is only the beginning! We'll see the Waldrops bringing their babies home, managing the medical concerns that come with premature birth especially during flu season, going through about 70 diapers a day and enlisting friends and family to help with round-the-clock care and feedings, all while continuing to care for Saylor, Wales and Bridge. Plus, Courtney and Eric know they need more income long-term and must make major decisions for their future, which includes the possibility of Courtney going back to work as a teacher soon. With so much to keep track of, how will Courtney and Eric manage their soccer-team sized household?

Courtney Waldrop updates home renovation progress, thanks Eric for special birthday post

Courtney Waldrop of Sweet Home Sextuplets

Courtney posted updated renovation pics of the family’s house yesterday, which was her birthday. Her caption read, “Well I may have got the best birthday gift I could have asked for…WALLS to our bedroom!!?????”

“Oh y’all I feel like this has been a long time coming, so it definitely was the best gift to see them go up today!!”

“And thank you all for your sweet birthday wishes and sweet comments? I have loved reading them all. You all brought a lot of smiles to my face today and made my day extra special!!”

“Thank y’all so very much!!!???Blessed Day!!❤️ #birthday #im39 #thankful #blessed #loved ”

In the last pic in the series, Courtney is mid-jump, celebrating with a fun pose.

The family of 11 needed to maximize their home’s space

With a family as large as the Waldrops, they need all the living space they can get. The Waldrops moved into a temporary 1,500 square-foot mobile home in 2019 to allow renovations to take place, but still be close to home. The large family resides in Albertville, Alabama.

TLC captured the family while all 11 of them crammed inside the mobile home, then the pandemic hit soon after, halting construction on their home. While living in such tight quarters, the Waldrops still did everything they could to keep their nine kids entertained.

Courtney and Eric have been sleeping on mattresses on the floor, allowing the kids to share bedrooms while they await construction to be complete. Obviously, the renovations have resumed, and Courtney couldn’t contain her excitement.

Courtney has since shared other pics from the home’s renovation, including their gorgeous, all-white kitchen. Fans commented that white walls, cupboards, and countertops were a brave design choice for a mom of nine.

Of their nine children, six of the Waldrop kids are sextuplets named Blu Wellington, Rayne McCoy, Layke Bryars, Tag Bricker, Rivers McCall, and Rawlings McClaine. Courtney has said that she always loved unique names.

Courtney talked about her distinctive name choices in their debut episode, saying, “Their names are different, and on social media that’s been like the big talk, is the names. I like different names … Names you don’t hear a lot.”

Her post comes a day after Courtney’s husband, Eric took over her Instagram account to post a charming happy birthday sentiment to his wife, proclaiming his love for his “angel.” The couple has been together for 25 years, and have been married since 2004.

Courtney and Eric’s love story started as love at first sight in eighth grade

They met in eighth grade, and Eric said of their early meeting , “Courtney and I, we’ve been together since eighth grade and never been with anybody else. So it’s kind of like one of those, I guess you could say, not high-school sweethearts, junior-high sweethearts.” Courtney added, “I really would call it love at first sight.”

The duo attended college together at Auburn University and married only one month after graduation. They welcomed their first son, Saylor in 2008. Twin brothers Wales and Bridge followed in 2012. And the sextuplets were born in 2017.

Courtney frequently shares the family’s daily activities on her Instagram , Facebook , and YouTube accounts.

Sweet Home Sextuplets is currently on hiatus .

Sweet Home Sextuplets follows the Waldrop family and their nine children — yes, you read that right, nine! Childhood sweethearts Courtney and Eric Waldrop discovered that Courtney had a blood disorder after trying for their second child, leading them to fertility treatments that resulted in the birth of twin boys (via Discovery ). When trying for a fourth, and final, child, the couple was surprised to find that they were pregnant with six healthy babies, turning the Waldrops into a family of 11.

The show first aired on TLC in 2018 with six one-hour episodes. Fans got an inside look at the family before the babies were even born, which was something viewers hadn't seen before on TLC. "A first for the network, we began this journey with Courtney and Eric even before the sextuplets arrived, when they already had three boys in their brood," Howard Lee, President and General Manager of TLC told Discovery at the time. "Our viewers get to see exactly what it's like to experience such a life-altering moment in its entirety, going from a family of five all the way through expanding to a family of 11 ."

Season 3 aired recently with more family antics

Fans of Sweet Home Sextuplets have watched all nine children grow up during the first two seasons of the show, and with the third season recently debuting during the summer of 2020, we got to see even more from the Waldrop family.

From lighthearted moments like the sextuplets entering preschool and the older boys trying karate to more heartbreaking scenes, like the sextuplets starting their "terrible twos" phase and a devastating tornado hitting their hometown, season 3 has given us a glimpse of the children coming into their own.

As the season wraps, we see how the family handled the coronavirus — according to Access Hollywood , two of the series' episodes were self-filmed due to social-distancing guidelines — and watch them finally move into a new home . While we don't yet know if there will be a fourth season, viewers can catch up on previous episodes of the sextuplets and their siblings on TLC , Hulu  (only season 3), and Amazon Prime .

Sweet Home Sextuplets

The Waldrops are a sweet family from Alabama with 3 lively boys. Parents Courtney and Eric get the shock of their lives when Courtney becomes pregnant with sextuplets. They face a high-risk delivery and the stress of becoming parents of 9 kids overnight.

Courtney and Eric struggle through a high-risk delivery. Six premature babies must survive the NICU and prepare to come home during a national flu crisis. One baby takes a turn for the worse, as the family faces nonstop feedings and mounting expenses.

Courtney struggles to split her time between the babies and the older boys. Eric takes on more work to keep up with new expenses. The family attempts their first public outing with the sextuplets on Mother's Day and soon face one of their biggest fears.

Courtney and Eric bring the sextuplets to the twins' baseball game, but the babies quickly become a big distraction. Eric faces a major financial decision about selling the sheep. Two babies need to see the cardiologist, and one faces possible surgery.

It's a week of milestones and meltdowns. The family gets a big van, and their first drive is frightening. The twins graduate from kindergarten, but Bridge has a major fit. Sextuplets turn 6-months, and a group photo shoot turns in

Courtney and Eric stress about hosting a big 5K charity event, while also making sure the 6 babies stay on track developmentally. Major decisions need to be made, knowing Courtney's maternity leave pay is ending and they may be losing their nanny soon.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!
