Shortly after releasing her highly anticipated album Pink Friday 2 on Dec. 8, Nicki Minaj announced she’s taking the new project out on the road. On Monday, the Queen of Rap, 41, shared that she’s setting out on tour across the globe in 2024 on the Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour. 

The rapper will begin her run of live shows with the North American leg in the spring. The outing kicks off on March 1 in Oakland, California and will stop at major arenas in cities like Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago and more. After 28 dates in North America, including the final show on May 12 in Austin, Texas, the hip-hop superstar will take the tour abroad to the U.K. and Europe through late spring.

The “Super Bass” artist herself posted to Instagram to announce her string of live performances and how excited she is to hit the road. “BARBZZZ!!” she wrote in the caption, addressing her legion of devout fans. “It’s time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys!!”

Support for Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour has yet to be announced.

News of the tour comes just days after Minaj dropped her fifth studio album and follow-up to her seminal debut, 2010’s Pink Friday . The project features collaborations from the A-listers like Drake , 50 Cent , J. Cole , Lil Wayne and others. 

Ahead of its release in an Instagram Live, the “Red Ruby da Sleeze” rapper called the album an “incredible body of work that I am so proud of .” 

She added, “This entire album will be the biggest gift I have ever given humanity thus far. I can stand by that. I will bet any amount of money that Pink Friday 2 the album is going to make people fall in love immediately.”

Tickets for Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour begin with a presale exclusive to Citi cardmembers that launches on Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. local time and lasts until Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. local time. Several other presales for the Live Nation-produced tour are set to follow, with the general sale kicking off on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. local time on NickiMinajOfficial.com . 

The artist presale is on now for international dates, with remaining tickets going on sale on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. local time. 

Fans will have the option of purchasing different VIP packages , which feature access to premium tickets, a Gag City pop-up and VIP lounge, exclusive merch and more.

The one and only Queen of Hip-Hop Nicki Minaj has officially announced the dates and venues on her worldwide outing in 2024, Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour.  Nicki Minaj will stop in Boston on April 10, 2024.  The Barbz have eagerly anticipated her touring return with headline arena shows in North America and Europe, including festival appearances at Rolling Loud California, and more yet to be announced. Minaj originally shared news of her tour on social media teasing the announcement along with the release of her new album Pink Friday 2, out everywhere now.

Nicki Minaj embarked on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour Friday night (March 1), opening up the international trek in Oakland, Calif. The Bay Area show found the native New Yorker working her “Gag City” themed stage design to the max, giving her fans hits ranging from her latest Pink Friday 2 release to early career fan-faves like “Moment 4 Life.”

While fans have anticipated exactly how the Barb with bars would execute her biggest tour to-date, many are honing in on what looks can be expected throughout the journey, with stylist Maher Jridi taking the helm of the eye-catching styles we’ve seen thus far, and can expect from the star moving forward. Those styles included looks ranging from Off-White to D&G to her own tour merch, with the beauty sharing a near wardrobe malfunction moment with her loyal Barbs after the show.

The 41-year-old native of Trinidad and Tobago has achieved many firsts, including becoming the first woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 hits, with more than 130 total entries. In 2020, her first No. 1 single came with the remix of Doja Cat 's "Say So," marking the first team-up between two female rap artists to top the charts.

Minaj's opener, Monica , is best-known for her smash duet with Brandy, "The Boy is Mine," as well as the No. 1 hits "The First Night" and "Angel of Mine."

Fans who are Citi card members can register for access to presale tickets starting Tuesday, according to Live Nation. General tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday on NickiMinajOfficial.com .

The Pink Friday 2 World Tour kicks off in Oakland, California, on March 1, 2024 and is scheduled to end on June 7 in Berlin.

Minaj, who's considered the Queen of Rap, first shared the news of her tour on social media. She posted to Instagram on Monday how excited she was for her worldwide outing.

"BARBZZZ!!" wrote the 41-year-old on the social media platform. "It's time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys!!"

The tour announcement comes days after the rapper released Pink Friday 2, which is her fifth studio album.

Nicki Minaj has announced an international tour reaching North America and Europe to feature her latest album, “ Pink Friday 2 ,” this year. Among the first dates on the first leg of her tour is Seattle, where she will perform her new album and more on March 10 at Climate Pledge Arena.

Minaj will travel through most of the country over three months with her last stop at Austin, Texas on May 12 before crossing the Atlantic for performances in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

“Pink Friday 2” is Minaj’s first album in five years, the longest she’s gone between releasing studio album projects. Her newest album features collaborations with Drake, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, J. Cole and Future. According to Billboard chart data, the sequel album, which has been informally in production for more than a decade, reached one million units sold in the U.S. Monday.

“Thank you to every single one of you listening [and] supporting this album, the best label Republic Records, the GREATEST artists in the WORLD of our generation featured when I needed them the most,” Minaj wrote on Instagram.

Additionally, Minaj’s 2024 tour will feature two performances at music festivals — Rolling Loud California  and  Dreamville Festival . Additionally, in response to “incredible fan demand,” Minaj added more North American cities to her tour including Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto and Brooklyn with more overseas shows including Amsterdam, Paris and Stockholm.

Nicki Minaj Makes History With the Highest-Grossing Tour of All Time for a Female Rapper

Proving she is the queen of rap..

Nicki Minaj is cementing herself as the queen of hip-hop. Making history recently with the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper of all time, her Pink Friday 2 tour hit the milestone within the first 17 performances. The tour has officially grossed a record-setting $34.9 million USD with under 20 shows.

According to Touring Data, the Trinidadian rapper has also claimed the top spot for having the highest-grossing concert. On March 30, the artist reported a whopping $2.858 million USD at her Madison Square Garden show. It comes as no surprise to hip-hop fans that Minaj still remains at the top, a decade and a half after she entered the industry. When she released the album, it netted the largest first week vinyl sales by any female rapper in history. The track “Super Freaky Girl” off the album saw Minaj hit her first No. 1 single as a solo artist. Her career longevity has been recognized by many across the industry. In a 2023 episode of Stepping Into the Shade Room , Ja Rule reiterated her position in the game stating that before her there were no female MCs like her. “Minaj re-opened the door” for her peers which made way for the likes of GloRilla and Ice Spice, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and more.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday 2 tour: See the setlist for her career-spanning concert

Though she kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour March 1 in Oakland, California, and still has more than a month to roam the country before heading to Europe, Nicki Minaj's enthusiasm and spunkiness are still raging.

On April 1, Minaj rolled into Capital One Arena in D.C. with a glossy spectacle and plenty of her trademark attitude for another sold-out date.

With a career-spanning 33-track setlist – albeit with some shortened versions of songs – Minaj, 41, delivered a fun, colorful set for fans who have waited more than eight years to see her on a U.S. tour again.

Her anticipated “Pink Friday 2” album arrived in December and was preceded by a snappy update of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” with Ice Spice on “Barbie World” ( from the “Barbie” movie soundtrack , for those with fleeting memories).

That hit, as well as new songs including “FTCU,” “Big Difference” and “Ruby Red da Sleeze,” allowed Minaj to slip into her various personas , which she also did gleefully with megahits “Super Bass” and “Anaconda.”

Minaj’s devotees – aka “Barbz” – came ready to play, bopping in the arena clad in more pink than the city’s famed cherry blossom trees.
