We had a great time on the waterfall hike, cliff dive and rope swing tour. The entire experience was great. Be prepared for a good and muddy hike, a bit challenging in places over the rocks. Bring good water shoes or hiking shoes but they will get dirty and wet! We definitely recommend these guys.

We did the rain forest, horse back riding and the Culebra Island tours and they were amazing! The rain forest is for active people and there is some climbing involved to get to the good part. The horse back riding was pretty relaxing and beautiful. And the Island was absolutely breathtaking!

Best tour in San Juan! I’ve been going for 5 years now and I will NEVER let anyone take us on a tour unless it is with Carlos and his team! Good people, good experience, good times to come back to!

Let me tell you a little bit of who I am, and what we've become!

I am an island girl, with a country heart and a gipsy soul. Good introduction right?! Well that's the short version. The long version is that I've lived on the island all my life and I finally found a job I am passionate for. I started in the tourism industry as a Chef. My life goal was to own a restaurant. With time I started recognizing other areas of the industry that I knew I would be good at. Went through Front Desk, Concierges and Tour Desk.  I recognized how the fun was on the other end of the desk. And well, nine years later I still have a dream. A much different one that is. EXCELLENT Rainforest for families! Visting El Yunque is an excellent tour for families. There is a short, very manageable hike through the rainforest, which my three year old was able to easily complete. Please bring sturdy water shoes because there are rocks in the water (not crocs, which are supposed to be slippery from the reviews I've read). My children (age 3,7 and 11) all loved the visit to El Yunque and we would highly recommend it to other families. The De tour Con Ali employees were excellent. There were employees carefully stationed along the terminal to ensure everyone found the tour, and our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and willing to customize the tour to our children's needs.

You can kayak at night in Condado Lagoon.

Condado Lagoon is located in San Juan, in the Condado area. 

There are companies that have special LED lights that attach to their kayaks, creating a glowing effect. 

Tour operators offer night tours of the Condado Lagoon, right from the center of San Juan. As a fun twist to this nighttime favorite, they have added colored light to the bottom of the kayaks.

11. Museo de las Americas (Ballajá)

The Ballajá Museum is one of the most fascinating historical museums in Puerto Rico.  

The history of the building itself is fascinating. It was the last building made by the Spanish and was the equivalent of the Pentagon for the Spanish empire at the time.  

The museum is home to several exhibits describing the conquest of the new world, and the surviving indigenous people.

There is also an exhibit about slavery and the influences of African culture on Puerto Rican culture and language. Additionally, the museum has a hall with rotating art exhibits.

12. Windsurfing classes

If you’re looking to go to the beach and do something fun, then try windsurfing.

This sport uses the same principles of sailing, except that instead of a boat you’re on a learning board about the size of a paddleboard.

San Juan has many tours that are worth doing.

This experience was amazing. The staff were all amazing and friendly. This was perfect for us because we stayed in old San Juan without transportation. They took care of everything. Transportation to the boat. An awesome boat ride with dinner over to Vieques. Transportation to the Bay. The glass bottom kayak tour was incredible. Coolest thing I have ever seen and experienced. Going to Mosquito Bay was a bucket list item for us. Logistically we were unsure if we would be able to go until we discovered Puerto Rico Tour Desk. They had everything so organized even though it involved multiple tour operators to pull it off. They picked us up at our hotel, transported us to the island, fed us dinner and returned us back to our hotel. Mosquito Bay was amazing. We went on a new moon night so the glow was bright. You could also see so many stars. We got a short astronomy lesson as well. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this company and this tour to couples or families. Our guide Frankie was amazing as were all the drivers. Michelle, the guide at the bio bay was also great.

We had a fabulous day with Yamile on this tour. She shared SO MUCH information about Puerto Rico, its history, ecology, economy, and culture along the way - all in a very conversational and engaging way. The lunch stop was delicious, and she gave us a "preview" of the menu items so we'd know more about our options. By the time we got to the dance class, everyone was so relaxed and comfortable that we all got up to learn the steps, even the shy ones who said they wouldn't! It was great fun. And - Yamile got us home in time for the wedding we were attending that evening! She's a wonderful ambassador for the diverse beauty of Puerto Rico. Would definitely use this company again.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Our group of 5 (ages 10-76) did the bio bay tour to Vieques, and our tour guide was Francisco. Our kayak guides, Michele and Harold, did a great job of explaining the science behind the bio bay, pointed out the constellations we could see that night, and answered many questions for us. This company delivered a stellar product, both in terms of the tour you get and the van drivers, boat captains, kayak guides, etc. they hire. On my return to Puerto Rico, I will be trying other tours of theirs. Puerto Rico has so many treasures to share, and I feel that I just scratched the surface!
