About us our history.

The Jaisalmer Royal Desert Safari Camp is a Luxury Tent Resort in the middle of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer. we are located at, Sam sand dunes and close to the Desert National Park. The camp has gained global fame and respect with travelers who are seeking adventure, hygiene and security all put together, yet in the most ethnic way of Rajasthan’s Joggiya and Joggan style which travelers always crave for.

This tour option combines an exclusive desert safari with a royal dinner safari, so you’ll be fully provided with all your entertainment and catering needs. Take an adventure out into the wild dunes of the desert in our private fleet of desert-ready vehicles and head to our exclusive desert fortress. You’ll have the chance to try your hand a camel and horse riding, dune bashing in our dune buggies, marvel at a falcon display and more.

There is a portion of the floor at the top with a glass bottom which is neat. The displays and info going up are about the old Dubai. Amazing Experience

The trip was beyond amazing. We get to experienced a VIP treatment in the desert. From the pickup to the drop off to the office, Hamza was very accommodating and professional. After the bird santuary, we were suppose to go directly to the Falcon show but we stopped and took photos of the dunes, and it was so unbelievable. You will be amazed on how the sand dunes were formed, how the people behind this can maintain the dunes. We were welcomed in the tent to watch the falcon demonstration and it was more intimate, more classy since we were served with sparkling juice, strawberries and canapes. I loveeeee the goat cheese praline, that was my favorite and even if I do not eat raw fish, I still tried the smoked salmon with caviar. Waseem gave us a very informative demonstration on how they train and technically the falcons was used an a hunting animal back in the days. My favorite part is the food, yes the food. 😁 from the starters, to the salad, then the main course and the dessert. The aerial show and the Flaming Sands of Arabia was perfect to end the day. It was very entertaining and show stopper. Overall, I had a great time and I cannot thank them all enough for the service they provided to us. From the conservation guide to the servers, to the chef, to everybody. We will not be able to compare it to any desert safari tours.

The vehicle capacity is five passengers. If you want to ensure private vehicle, please book for five passengers. Pick-up and drop-off options are available from your hotel or private residence (Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman only). Pick-up from Dubai: 3:30 to 4pm, and pick-up from Ajman and Sharjah: 3 to 3:30pm. We can arrange special meals if requested upon booking. Quad bikes are not included in the tour, but can be booked on site for an extra charge payable directly to the supplier. Please note that pregnant ladies are not allowed to take part in dune driving. Pregnant ladies and older guests can be accommodated in a separate car and brought straight to the camp for dinner. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange two pick-ups – one for the safari and the other for dinner. If there are any changes in pick-up times we will contact you by WhatsApp, phone call or by reaching out to the hotel you're staying in. Child seats are available upon request.

For a full refund, cancel before 10am, at least one day before the event. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
