Inside the NBC Page Program

By NBCU Academy

Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the NBCUniversal Page Program.

Ever wondered what an NBCUniversal Page does? NBCU Academy sat down with Priany Hadiatmodjo , director of the NBCUniversal Page Program and current participants Liz Gonzalez , Emiko Powers and Taj Kokayi to talk about what it takes to be a page. Read their comments, edited for clarity, below.

Check out the NBCUniversal Page Program website and Instagram !

What is an NBCUniversal Page and what do they do?

Right Arrow

Hadiatmodjo: The NBCUniversal Page Program is a year-long learning and development opportunity. It attracts the best and the brightest early-career talent to this company. And we are in the business of helping to mold this talent to become the future leaders of our company and our industry. The program has been around since 1933, so, it’s a real gem here at NBCUniversal. It’s got a huge legacy.

A lot of people have put us on the map, like Kenneth [the page from “30 Rock”] and actress Aubrey Plaza.

Pages do help in the building, whether it’s leading tours or providing audience services for any of the productions that tape at 30 Rock, they’re recognizable in that uniform. That is the gold standard of what pages represent.

But they are not exclusively in uniform, or only giving tours or only working audience services. Pages do a lot of things at once.

Gonzalez:  I currently work at “Stay Tuned” with NBC News.

Powers:  Every day I wake up at 4 a.m. The “TODAY” show has always been my dream.

Kokayi: I’m currently the page for product marketing and ad sales. I do a lot of work with privacy and data.

Hadiatmodjo:   The goal is to give early-career talent who are interested in pursuing a position in media the tools, skills, feedback and experience they need to be able to hit the ground running in this industry.

They rotate through three different assignments. Pages have the chance to work for several different teams, to be able to sample what it might be like to work in news and then do a rotation in ad sales or work in a film rotation and then move over to a role in TV.

The program is highly competitive. We want to find people who are open-minded, curious and are passionate about starting their career in the industry.

How do you become an NBCUniversal Page?

Hadiatmodjo:   When you’re preparing your application, be yourself. We really want to get to know the real you, so let that shine in your application. Secondly, make sure your application is perfect and ready to go. When you read through your materials, does it sound like you? Third, do your research. I like to think that anybody can be a student of this industry. Be curious, that’s something that we look for. Know what you know and know what you don’t know. Make sure that you let that curiosity shine through.

Gonzalez:  One thing I always say is know how to tell your story. They’re going to want to find out who you are and why you want to be in this program.

Kokayi:  It’s not so much about your resume and your background. The Page Program looks for people interested in media and good people who have that engaging spirit.

Hadiatmodjo:  Don’t tell us what you think we want to hear; I would challenge you to think about why you are great for the program.

The Life of an NBCUniversal Page

Powers:  When I started out on the program, I really had no idea what exactly I wanted to do. I really came into this with an open mind.

Gonzalez:  A lot of day-to-day life as a page is that you never know what’s going to come your way.

Powers: I order coffees, run newspapers around. I make sure people are where they’re supposed to be, organize cars, solve problems throughout the morning. There is never a dull moment.

Kokayi:  The program is an incredible transition job for someone who’s recently graduated or a young person entering the workforce.

Hadiatmodjo:  The program is an experience where hopefully every day you’re learning something new, whether that is something about the company, the industry or yourself.

Powers:  I am so much more confident. This program has given me the tools to do whatever I want to do.

Hadiatmodjo:  By the end of the program, that’s what we’re hoping to get: pages who are stronger by the end of it than they were when they started.

Gonzalez : I’ve loved everything about it. Being a page is fun and exciting and brings a lot of opportunities.

Hadiatmodjo:  Pages know how to get things done and how to get things fixed. You have to be the go-to person, you have to be reliable. Your team will trust you with great responsibility that makes you develop this kind of secondhand armor that helps you succeed.

Kokayi : The thing I love most about being a page is the page team. I love coming to work every day and going to the page office.

Powers: I think it’s helped me in so many different ways, completely changed my life.

Gonzalez : From working “Saturday Night Live” to really diving into news and gaining that responsibility to finding things out about myself.

Kokayi : I think the thing I do best is being kind, I think that’s what has put me in the position I’m at right now.

Hadiatmodjo: Page pride is a real phenomenon.  I don’t see the program as necessarily a foot in the door, but I do see it as a potentially life changing opportunity for you to begin a career with the support, and the network and the community that can really set you up for success.

Take a peek behind the scenes.

Have you ever wondered how your favorite shows are being made? You can find out at the NBC Studio Tour that gives you behind-the-scenes access to many well-known shows. We participated in the TV and Movie Locations tour, including the NBC Studio Tour inside Rockefeller Center and learned about every step of the TV production process. Oh, and we also got to see some celebrities on the way!

The Movie Locations and NBC Studio Tour in New York is a guided walk that consists of two different parts:

1. TV and Movie Locations Tour

First, your guide will show your around Midtown Manhattan to see some popular TV and Movie locations located in proximity to NBC Studios. These include film locations known from  Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Friends, Seinfeld, Sex and the City , Home Alone,  Gossip Girl , and a few others. Your guide will share some interesting facts with you, many of which actually surprised us! You’ll also have enough time to take photos at each of the locations. It’s a lot of fun trying to reproduce a few famous scenes!

2. NBC Studio Tour

In the second part of the tour, you head on over to Rockefeller Center to take the official NBC Studio Tour. During the NBC Studio Tour, you’ll get insights into the entire TV production process , starting from scriptwriting and producing to broadcasting and controlling. The tour highlight for most people, however, is seeing the film studios of the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the Today Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Saturday Night Live (SNL) . Which sets you will actually get to visit depends on whether the studio is available. Sometimes it might be the case that the studio is being prepared for the next show. That’s exactly what happened when we walked past the Saturday Night Live Studio. Did you know that they create every scene for SNL from scratch?

The good news is that the SNL studio has large windows that don’t even require you to go in to see the set!

Even when just walking through the hallway, you’ll see that everything is nicely decorated with plenty of photos and other memories from NBC’s history. The entire NBC Studios reach over several floors. It’s huge!

If you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of one of the shows or celebrities!

However, there is obviously no guarantee for that. During our tour, we happened to walk by Today Show host Al Roker.

At the end of the NBC Studio Tour, a unique interactive experience is awaiting you: you and your group are invited to produce your own TV segment . Another great thing about it is that you’ll get to keep the video of your show! It will be sent to you via email after the tour. This is the ultimate way of testing whether you’ve got what it takes to host your own talk show!

You can now go behind-the-scenes on The Tour at NBC Studios

See what it takes to put on ’SNL’ and late-night TV on this relaunched a 30 Rock tour.

Rossilynne Skena Culgan

Every weekend, Saturday Night Live bursts onto the screen on NBC with sketches that make viewers across the nation laugh, groan, and guffaw. The decades-long comedy institution can feel like something of a mystery, as free tickets are notoriously hard to get.

But now, fans of the show can go behind the scenes of SNL and other beloved programs like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Kelly Clarkson Show  with newly relaunched tours of 30 Rock. The Tour at NBC Studios paused amid the pandemic, but they're now back and revamped for 2024. We took the tour—led by NBC Pages , of course—and found several fascinating secrets to share. But there's lots more to learn on the tour, which is bookable here for $48/person.

1. 30 Rock has a long history in TV

NBC moved into the building in 1933. Just three years later, NBC Radio broadcasted the historic 1936 Berlin Olympics. The Berlin Olympics were the first games to be televised. Over the years, 30 Rock has been home to the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, Late Night with Seth Meyers , and more.

Two people host a pretend late-night show.

2. The entire building is TV-ready

Any part of the Art Deco building can be used for television, even a basic staircase which the Jonas Brothers once used for a performance.

3. SNL musicians get to call the shots

Musicians get their own stage during the comedy show, and they get complete creative control to execute their vision. To see it in action, here are NPR's picks for the top musical performances on SNL.

4. They still use physical cue cards

Paper cue cards may seem like a relic of the 1960s, but they're still in use on SNL . Because the sketches have so much movement around the stage, it's easier to move around with paper cue cards than to leave the work to a robot.

Since both Fallon and Meyers are SNL alumni, they got used to physical cue cards and still use those on their late-night shows.

The stage where Late Night with Seth Meyers is filmed.

5. The seconds before SNL starts are pure chaos

There's an old joke about SNL in the industry: "The show doesn’t start because it's ready. It starts because it's 11:30."

Indeed, the NBC Pages explain, even at the 10-second countdown, the team is often still doing make-up and making any final touches before the cameras kick on.

6. SNL 's main stage was inspired by NYC

The set is meant to look like Grand Central Station, even down to a replica of the bustling train station's clock.

7. Some of the equipment dates back decades

Over 700 lights hang in the SNL studio to illuminate the stage—and some of them even date back to the original show. If you get a chance to take the tour (or see SNL !), look for the old NBC logo on some of the lights.

8. They go through a lot of wigs

During a typical Saturday night show, the SNL cast can cycle through 100 wigs per show.

So you want to be an NBC page. Here's what you need to know

When I first heard about NBCUniversal's page program , I had no idea what a page was. I was wrapping up my bachelor's and knew that I wanted an opportunity for career development.

I had already built a love for the NBC brand during various past internships, and knew that I wanted to pursue my passion for entertainment in the media industry.

After submitting my application to become a page, I was admitted into the program in January. I began my journey as a page in ad sales; in my first assignment, I was able to collaborate with luxury brands and clients on advertising campaigns.

Kristen Schaal as Hazel and Jack McBrayer as Kenneth Parcell in "30 Rock."

I then ventured off into the world of affiliate marketing for my second rotation. I was able to experience TODAY shoots, gain production experience and brainstorm and pitch ideas for marketing activations.

I ended up with TODAY Digital for my third and final rotation. I’ve had the chance to pitch and write stories and create newsletters that are sent out to hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

NBC pages pose outside of 30 Rock

During my time in the program, I've developed various skills that I wasn’t necessarily confident with previously. They include public speaking and presentation skills, fostered through the NBC studio tours , but also interpersonal communication skills.

Annie Sizemore, the East Coast page program manager, tells TODAY.com that one of her favorite parts of the job is “watching people come in with that twinkle in their eyes and really excited to learn and show us their true passions and colors.”

Read on to learn more about the page program and how to apply.

What’s an NBC page?

An NBC Universal page is an ambassador of the NBCUniversal brand . Pages are typically immersed in a 12-month-long rotational program that spreads across multiple NBC departments that include public relations, marketing, production and ad sales, to name a few.

Pages also support audience services for live studio productions, including "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and "Saturday Night Live."

By contributing to several areas of the business, pages are exposed to NBCUniversal's extensive portfolio and become fully absorbed in the company's culture.

Throughout the year, pages can typically anticipate being assigned to three rotating four-month assignments in various corporate departments to gain a full understanding of the media industry.

New York pages are also expected to support the NBC s tudio t our , which provides visitors with a behind-the-scenes peek at how shows are produced at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

Various other ambassadorship responsibilities are expected of pages on top of their assignment rotations.

Priany Hadiatmodjo, the director of the NBCU page program, says the program requires people who want to become a part of a community and want to represent the company beyond individual career goals.

Where is the program based?

The NBCUniversal page program is based in two locations: New York City on the East Coast and Universal City, California, on the West Coast.

NBCUniversal's corporate headquarters are located on the East Coast, where it handles assignments related to news, corporate functions, ad sales, late night, Peacock and other areas.

The West Coast is home to the company's businesses related to film, television programming and more. Assignment possibilities in public relations, marketing, communications and other fields are available on both coasts.

A page applicant can only choose one coast to apply to.

What are the types of jobs (rotations)?

Pages are able to take on various jobs (rotations) throughout their year. Some of the roles involve marketing, business, production and development, ad sales and digital.

Some specific brands that pages are a part of include Peacock, TODAY, MSNBC, WNBC, Bravo, E!, CNBC, Focus Features, NBC News, Syfy and USA.

At TODAY, pages have the opportunity to apply for a number of positions that include working with the social media team, working in the green room with high-profile guests, and collaborating with the TODAY.com editorial team to pitch and write stories.

For roles at Peacock, pages have the chance to engage in social media work, but can focus on consumer marketing and help support movie screening events.

For someone who may be more analytical, there are various roles that support commerce analytics teams for TODAY and NBC News platforms. There are also opportunities to support more corporate-facing roles such as working with the diversity, equity and inclusion department.

It's important to note that pages do not select the exact rotations they are assigned to. Pages' prior experience and skill set are always taken into consideration when first assignments are distributed. However, pages participate in a collaborative process when they are matched for their second and third assignments. While some pages may show interest in particular NBC brands, there is no guarantee of a specific assignment.

How you can apply

Candidates can apply to the page program by monitoring NBCUniversal's career page and the program's Instagram account for specific dates on when the application process opens. There are three different cohorts, or classes, that are hired in both New York and Los Angeles each year, for the spring, summer and fall.

Katie Blum, the coordinator of the East Coast page program, tells TODAY.com "we hire in a cohort because we're not looking for one unique experience."

She continues, "We're looking for a lot of different experiences. So if you're ready to work as a team, be a leader, but also want to learn, that's something that we always look for."

There are three steps for the application process. In my personal experience, the first includes submitting a refined one-page resume that outlines your past experience in a clear and cohesive way.

In addition to submitting your resume, applicants will also have to submit a personal statement.

After that, candidates will be selected to conduct a prerecorded video interview and answer a series of questions without a physical interviewer present.

If you make it past these stages, you will then be asked to participate in a virtual panel interview with other prospective candidates, in addition to multiple members of the page team.

Candidates will have the opportunity during their panel to speak one-on-one with a member of the page team for a personal interview.

Hannah Baalbaki, a specialist for the NBC page program, tells TODAY.com that "a lot of people don't know what they want to do in the program."

"But if you do know what you want to do, share that, because I feel like during panels I want to make sure it's a two-way interview process," she continues.

"We want you to be right for the program, but we want the program to be right for you."

Hadiatmodjo states that the team is “open to candidates with lots of different types of skills and experiences. What’s important is being able to articulate how those things you bring to the table would translate as a page.”

Some basic requirements of the program include a bachelor’s degree obtained before the start date of the program, and for New York pages the ability to work six days a week as needed to support various tasks such as audience services and tours.

NBCU pages receive an hourly wage of $20 per hour and are eligible for overtime pay. Pages are also eligible for paid time off, paid company holidays, a health and wellness benefits plan, and a stipend upon starting the program.

The best and worst parts of being an NBC page: In the '70s, I worked with stars like Regis Philbin and Johnny Carson and was paid $1.90 an hour

  • Shelley Herman says she can thank Elvis Presley for helping her get her start at NBC Studios.
  • Her starting pay was $1.90 per hour — yet, she would do pagedom again.
  • Many big TV stars started as pages, and there was no one surefire way to get the job.

Insider Today

I can thank Elvis Presley for helping me get my foot in the door at the NBC Studios in Burbank, California.

Here's how it happened: I worked in the junior clothing department at Sears. A girl I worked with got five tickets to see Elvis in Las Vegas, so of course, we crammed into my Toyota for a road trip.

After the concert, three of the girls I arrived with immediately took off to have fun in Las Vegas, and I was left with Janus, the shy wallflower who got us the Elvis tickets. We sat in a hotel coffee shop eating cherry pie with ice cream and talked about our hopes and dreams.

I told her that when I was in high school, I was able to get tickets to "The Midnight Special," a late-night rock concert show that was taped at NBC Burbank. I remember one of the musicians there that night was Jim Croce. While sitting on the floor, watching the performers, I noticed men and women standing around in ugly polyester uniforms who not only got to listen to rock and roll music for free; they were getting paid to do it.

I thought, "Wow, I want that job!" I told Janus I wanted to be a page — and as it turned out, her mother was best friends with someone who worked at the studio.

I was an NBC page two weeks later

It was 1976 and I was 20, still in college and clueless. It was like "Alice Through the Looking-Glass," but instead, it was me through the TV screen.

Now in its 90th year, the NBC Page program is one of the most prestigious entry-level positions in the entertainment industry. It's an executive recruitment and training program, but some of the all-time biggest stars of television started as pages, including Regis Philbin, Gene Rayburn, Chuck Barris, and, when he was just 15 years old, Peter Marshall.

I wish I could tell you there was one straight, surefire way to becoming an NBC page , but there isn't.

How to become an NBC page

Most candidates for the page position, like my friend Neil, would call once a week to check in with the woman who ran the page staff, Eba Hawkins. He was attending USC, and she gave him the job when he graduated. She admired his persistence.

My other friend Al got his NBC page job when the women who worked behind the scenes on "Wheel of Fortune" spotted him as a contestant on the show. To this day, Al is a great-looking guy, and the women didn't want to see him leave. So they encouraged him to apply for the job, and with their recommendations, he was hired without ever really knowing what a page was.

Sandy had a similar story. She was an elementary school teacher when she caught the eye of several of male pages as she stood in line to see "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." They even helped her fill out the application and hand-delivered it.

Related stories

Pete turned down a chance to be a page when his mother told him she was friends with the network's then-president, Julian Goodman. He wanted to be something other than a tour guide or an usher. He wanted to be a journalist. But one year later, and with no prospects in sight, Pete dropped Goodman's name, and wore a personalized button on his blazer that paraphrased the lyric of The Beatles' song "Give Peace a Chance" that read, "All We Are Saying Is Give Pete a Chance" when he applied.

Johnny Carson was the highlight of the NBC tour experience

Hawkins had a good eye for selecting pages because many of us have remained close friends all these decades later. A core group of 15 of us still get together about once a month to celebrate birthdays and weddings, watch award shows, and even travel together. When the pandemic hit, we could stay connected through Zoom, and friends who had moved away from California could now be included in our conversations.

We started hearing new stories about our time touring the hallways. Roxanne told us about the time she fainted while giving a tour and was surprised to discover TV sitcom stars Don Rickles and Peter Isackson (from the show "C.P.O. Sharkey") were carrying her to the nurse's office.

Many of us would escort celebrities to press events. One beautiful, buxom blonde star liked to have something "extra" in her coffee, and it was Tom's job to make sure it was good to the last drop.

On the other hand, Dinah had to make sure the bartender only made Virgin Bloody Marys for her boisterous, barrel-chested star. When he found out they didn't contain alcohol, Dinah told him, "You've been drinking that way most of the day."

The best part of the tour happened around 1:50 p.m. when Johnny Carson arrived at the studio. He would pull into the number one space on the lot and make a few jokes with the group who just happened to be waiting near the entrance to the building. Johnny would often say, "The tour's a rip-off. Ask for your money back." He was the highlight of the whole NBC tour experience.

The best event I worked on was the 1977 Primetime Emmy Awards

I picked up comedians Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca in a limousine and drove with them to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. They were the stars of "Your Show of Shows," a 90-minute live show much like Saturday Night Live in the 1950s — it was the most popular program on air at the time.

Imogene bragged that she was wearing a gown she first wore in the 50s, and Sid wore a tuxedo. They looked like the topper of a wedding cake. She was talking up a storm in the limo, and Sid seemed a bit annoyed. I loved every minute of it. It was my own private "Your Show of Shows!"

Later that night, just as they finished presenting an Emmy award, the entire side of Imogene's dress busted open. Sid took off his tuxedo jacket and put it around her shoulders. It was so sweet.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for me, I also helped console an extremely teary-eyed John Travolta, who had just accepted a posthumous Emmy for his sweetheart, Diana Hyland.

The evening ended with my page pal Jeff and I slowly walking Alfred Hitchcock through a maze of cables in a dark backstage area. I wanted to say something to Hitchcock, but what? I had to remain professional.

Hitchcock turned to me and, as I held what felt like half his body weight, said, "You're doing a very good job." I replied, "I did my senior paper on you. Ask me anything about you." He smiled back at me with that slightly wickedly wonderful Hitchcock smile.

Being an NBC page was a lot of work, but the experience was worth it

All the big stars of the day would walk the hallways at NBC Burbank. Redd Foxx was taping "Sanford and Son," Peter Marshall was hosting "Hollywood Squares," Dick Clark had a variety show, and I got caught in the middle of a pie fight Freddie Prinze Sr. was having next to Johnny Carson's studio.

The best part was I met my favorite musician one evening after he had performed on The Tonight Show, a man I idolized, Harry Chapin.

I've always believed when applying for a job, you should find a way to present yourself in a way so people will want to meet you, not have to see you. I suggest sending a handwritten note to the person who interviewed you and, perhaps, their assistant if they played a role in getting your foot in the door. Having been an assistant, I know how much I appreciated that simple act of kindness.

We pages worked long hours for little pay — my starting pay was $1.90 per hour — and had to politely deal with large crowds who weren't happy waiting in a long line to see their favorite stars. Yet, given a chance, most of my colleagues and I agree, we would do pagedom again.

'SNL': Aubrey Plaza Gives the NBC Page Tour During Opening Monologue

Plaza's monologue also featured a surprise appearance from a 'Parks and Recreation' co-star.

Saturday Night Live came back with a bang as Aubrey Plaza took on hosting duties with musical guest Sam Smith . Plaza, who worked as an NBC Page when she was in college, was famously bad at it. She's admitted it in the past and now there is an entire monologue on Saturday Night Live about how she is known as a "bad page" there. To be fair, Plaza has been very open about the fact that she would just lie and make up facts while doing tours.

But as she geared up to return to Studio 8H, this time as a host of Saturday Night Live , she took us on a journey through her typical tours with funny bits, literal skeletons in a closet, and surprise guests! The monologue began with Plaza talking about how she's "normal" in comparison to what people think about her. She also discussed how her family came from Delaware to see the show. And then went on to talk about how she's the most famous person out of Delaware (also home to President Joe Biden ) and so she claimed that Biden was livid that she best him. To prove it, she shared a video message from the president where he revealed that he was just happy that she made it out of the second season of White Lotus alive.

During her tour though, the best part for fans of Parks and Recreation was getting to see former Saturday Night Live cast member Amy Poehler there to cheer Plaza on. The two were co-stars on the NBC's Parks and Recreation for seven seasons where Poehler played Leslie Knope, boss to Plaza's April Ludgate. Poehler, prior to Parks and Recreation , got famous through Saturday Night Live and is no stranger to coming back to the show for her friends

RELATED: Where Did All the 'SNL' Movies Go?!

Poehler made an appearance as Plaza tried to convince viewers they won't see any "famous people" as part of the tour, contradicting her in the sweetest of ways. True to her Leslie Knope character, Poehler also reminded Plaza that she can't call people "old" in response to Plaza's running bit throughout the monologue, referring to the set design team for the show was a bunch of old "perverts". Without a doubt, the monologue was a masterclass in why we love Plaza.

Fans got to see her humor shine through, and it was one of the most comfortable monologues we've seen in a while which was probably helped by Plaza's history with the show. It was also incredibly sweet to see Poehler show up for her and set the tone for the rest of Plaza's brilliant episode. Check out the monologue below:

Hanging Out with Carly Pearce at Her 'Place' on the Road

The GRAMMY-winning country star gave us an exclusive bus tour in honor of her new song “my place” — out now!

carly pearce smiling sitting on tufted green velvet couch on her bus, processed with vsco with av4 preset

Though just released, “my place” is already a fan favorite—Carly has been performing it live for audiences while on the road with Tim McGraw for his 2024 Standing Room Only arena tour.

“I wrote this song about a dream I had long before the relationship I was in ended, but I knew that it would,” says Carly. “It’s hard to watch people move on and realize your heart can’t live there anymore, but that realization is the beginning of the healing process.”

While “my place” is about coming to terms with the fact that an ex has moved on and that their heart and home “ain’t my place anymore,” Carly does have a place to hangout and feel at home when she's on the road—her tour bus! She gave us an exclusive bus tour in honor of her new song’s release, and even showed us what she keeps in her fridge. Watch below:

.css-6xnthf{color:#0A5C80;font-family:Kepler,Kepler-fallback,Helvetica,Arial,Serif;font-size:2.1875rem;line-height:1.2;margin:0rem;}@media(min-width: 64rem){.css-6xnthf{font-size:2.5625rem;line-height:1.2;}}.css-6xnthf b,.css-6xnthf strong{font-family:inherit;font-weight:bold;}.css-6xnthf em,.css-6xnthf i{font-style:italic;font-family:inherit;} “The green velvet couch—it is one of my favorite things of the entire bus.” — Carly Pearce

What details make Carly’s bus feel like “her place”? The stylishly comfy, tufted green velvet couch topped with pretty throw pillows, for one. It’s one of her favorite spots on the whole bus: “I live on this bus with my band, and they just have to deal with too many pillows. These make me feel like I’m at home,” she says.

She also has a kitchenette that looks like a real kitchen and even includes burners where her bass player Philip Noel cooks up filets that can rival any restaurant. She goes grocery shopping to maintain a sense of normalcy while traveling, she tells us, and stocks the refrigerator drawer with staples: string cheese, hummus, carrots, her favorite salad dressing (we zoomed in—that’s Bolthouse Farms Classic Ranch Yogurt Dressing), and rosé (all day!).

She has added personal touches throughout, like the gallery wall below. “I wanted to bring a little bit of some of my favorite moments and make this really feel like it is my home, because I spend more time here than I do at my actual house. So I have some big moments, like when I won my Grammy, Johnny and June, my puppies … fan photos, all kinds of things.”

a wall with pictures on it

Side note: We love that Carly named her pups after the legendary country music couple June Carter and Johnny Cash . (Zoom in on the framed photo on the top-left above to see those sweet doggos wearing adorable cowboy hats!)

Other creature comforts on the bus include a big bed (a luxury on the road) and a private bath with an extremely well-organized closet for her everyday clothes.

a closet full of clothes

Like us, Carly loves a good scented candle to create the ambiance of home. We tracked hers down—it’s The Desert candle by Pacha Soap Co. with notes of amber, smoke, and incense.

In addition to the 2024 tour with Tim McGraw, you can catch Carly performing stateside this summer at CMA Fest on June 9 in Nashville, Tennessee. Next year, she will kick off her headlining hummingbird 2025 uk/eu tour on February 9 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Meanwhile, we are adding Carly’s “my place” to our best country breakup songs playlist —because, of course, we have a country playlist for every mood and occasion!

Her fourth studio album, hummingbird , is set for a June 14 release.

Jennifer Lopez now touting tour as greatest hits show after canceling dates, struggling to sell tickets

Jennifer Lopez is now touting her tour as a greatest hits show after canceling seven dates and struggling to sell tickets.

The name of the trek has changed from “This Is Me…Now” to “This Is Me…Live | The Greatest Hits,” according to Variety .

“The latest rebrand suggests a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album’s songs to one spanning her discography, a move that may entice listeners who didn’t connect with her latest material,” the outlet reported Tuesday.

A source told Page Six that the tour will “convey the Jennifer Lopez live experience” and was not created solely for the music from her latest album. It is, however, a “celebration which includes the new album.”

The “Jenny From the Block” singer, 54, originally announced the tour in February to concur with her “This Is Me…Now” album and accompanying films.

However, Lopez quietly canceled scheduled shows in Nashville, Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, Tampa, Fla., and New Orleans last month.

Additionally, concerts previously up for sale in Cleveland and Houston were removed from Ticketmaster’s website completely.

Ticketmaster blamed the cancellations on “the event organizer” and gave ticketholders information on how to obtain refunds.

Page Six was told at the time that the concerts could not be rescheduled because of a logistical issue through the promoter.

Not only is Lopez having tour trouble, but she also had issues selling her latest album.

After its February release, the project, which is her first studio album in over a decade, flopped on the Billboard 200 chart  by debuting at No. 38.

The “Selena” star’s record is about her love for her husband, Ben Affleck, whom she first  dated in the early aughts  before they wed in Las Vegas  in July 2022.

In a review, Page Six opined that the “watery” album recycled “uninspired sounds and stories from a quarter-century ago.”

Hayley Erbert announced Friday that she will be rejoining husband Derek Hough on their “ Symphony of Dance ” tour. She is returning just four months after an emergency craniectomy.

The tour will resume April 14 in Melbourne, Fla. “I am just so excited to get back out and dance again after having something so traumatic happen,” Erbert said in People .

Hough is being cautious. “We’ve had extensive conversations and tests and results from different doctors,” Hough said. “Every kind of doctor that you can think about, from our original surgeon who did the surgeries to new people in our lives and they are very supportive.

“She’s all clear and we’re all just amazed by her and can’t wait to go out there and put on a great show,” he added.

Erbert was stricken in December 2023 after the couple’s tour performance in Washington D.C. She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel after she had become disoriented.

Erbert underwent a cranioplasty surgery to replace a portion of her skull.

Hough, who postponed tour dates after his wife’s surgery, announced the rescheduled dates in February, though without a commitment that Erbert was set to rejoin him.

Mariska Hargitay Is So Excited to Reunite with Kelli Giddish Again for SVU (PICS)

Hargitay looked overjoyed when Giddish returned for another guest appearance for Season 25.

nbc page tour

Kelli Giddish (Amanda Rollins) just can't stay away from the SVU set and  Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson)  is loving it.

How to Watch

Watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Thursdays on NBC  and next day on  Peacock .

On April 2, Hargitay shared a picture of herself and Giddish spending time together filming  Law & Order: Special Victims Unit   Season 25. In the photo, Hargitay has the biggest grin on her face and waves a script over her head, while Giddish looks radiant in a beige coat. The special snapshot was to celebrate Giddish's upcoming second guest return to SVU after her character's official departure in Season 24.

'' #Reunited and it feels so good! #MeAndMyGirl #raindropskeepfallingonmyhead #DynamicDuo #GirlPower #LadyBosses #FierceFriendship #Svu25 ,'' Hargitay captioned the post.

Kelli Giddish comes back for SVU Season 25

Although the actress  stepped away from her role  as Detective Rollins in Season 24 to take a job at  Fordham University as a criminology professor , she made a much-anticipated return in a guest role, reprising the character in the Season 25 premiere. There, we got to see Rollins celebrating the christening of  her new baby , which the character welcomed with  Carisi (Peter Scanavino) .

Better yet, it has been officially confirmed that Giddish will return to SVU again for Season 25, Episode 11.

Hargitay first dropped hints that  Rollins would be seen in Season 25  again via Instagram in November 2023. In a fun clip the two were seen goofing around on set.

"Back with my lil boo thang," Hargitay captioned the post.

"This is everything to me rn," the official NBC Instagram page commented.

A week later,  Hargitay shared a snapshot  of her,  Octavio Pisano  (Joe Velasco), Scanavino, and Giddish all smiling together behind the scenes.

"The kind that lasts a lifetime🫶 #25" Hargitay captioned the picture.

Why Kelli Giddish left SVU

In a 2022 interview with  Variety , Giddish explained the reason behind her departure from the show.

"I started playing her in my late 20s, so I’ve played her in three decades of my life, which is nuts. It’s insane. This is a show unlike any other," she said. "Shows don’t  last  12 years, much less getting to play a character. With playing someone as multi-faceted as Rollins, I got to play all kinds of different things — down and out, on top, joyful, doubtful, scared, triumphant. I got to do the gambit."

She continued, "My side of things is just that it’s time in the Rollins storyline. I felt like where it was heading, and where it headed last night, just seemed the right place to leave it right now. I am so excited about things going on in my personal life and kind of the mirroring of what’s going on in my personal life and in Rollins’, there’s a lot of joy to be experienced."
