Exposition « Un autre Monde » de l’Artothèque de Touraine

En cette nouvelle année 2024, l’Artothèque de Touraine s’associe à l’Hôtel Goüin pour présenter l’exposition «Un autre monde» qui réunit les oeuvres des artistes membres de l’association.

L’Association

L’Artothèque de Touraine, association reconnue d’intérêt général, regroupe plus de cinquante peintres, sculpteurs, plasticiens, photographes du département. Grâce à la mise à disposition de leurs oeuvres originales, l’association permet au plus grand nombre de découvrir et d’accéder à l’art contemporain par la location d’oeuvres aux particuliers aux entreprises, aux collectivités et aux établissements scolaires .

L’Exposition

Pour la troisième fois, les artistes de l’Artothèque de Touraine investissent les trois niveaux de l’Hôtel Goüin, pour proposer cette année une exposition collective sur le thème « Un autre monde ». Un monde différent, un monde meilleur, plus juste, plus harmonieux, un monde fantasmé, cauchemardé, un monde à part, secret… chaque artiste de l’Artothèque de Touraine dévoile son autre monde, peint, photographié, modelé, sculpté, mis en scène.

L'hôtel Goüin, chef-d'œuvre de la Renaissance, rassemble les collections de la Société archéologique de Touraine. Les deux salles voûtées du sous-sol accueillent de nombreux objets préhistoriques, gallo-romains et mérovingiens. Au dessus se trouvent des sculptures médiéval es et de la Renaissance (point fort du musée) tandis que le premier étage présente des objets d'art décoratif des XVII e et XVIII e . Ainsi que la remarquable reconstitution d'un cabinet de physique. Un lieu calme et quelque peu suranné.

Ouvert :  t.l.j. sauf en décembre et janvier (et vendredi du 1 er octobre au 14 mars) ; 1 er  février - 14 mars et octobre - nov. : 10h-12h30, 14h-17h30 (18h30 du 15 mars au 30 juin et sept.) ; juillet - août : 10h- 19h.

Musée de l'Hôtel Goüin Tours (37)

Très rare vestige de l’architecture Renaissance à Tours, l'hôtel Goüin a appartenu à un marchand de soieries au XVe siècle puis aux Gouïn, famille de banquiers, en 1738. Gravement endommagée pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, sa façade renovée est un chef d'œuvre inspiré de la Renaissance italienne. Haut lieu de la visite du Vieux-Tours, le musée est une galerie d'expositions.

L'Hôtel Goüin est un monument historique de la ville de Tours dans le département de l'Indre et Loire (37). Cet édifice du XVème siècle est un ancien hôtel particulier de style Renaissance qui tiens son nom d'une famille de banquiers bretons qui l'a occupé à partir du XVIIIème siècle. L'Hôtel Goüin a la particularité d'avoir été en grande partie détruit lors des bombardements de la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale, seule l'emblématique façade est restée debout mais le reste du bâtiment a été reconstruit mais pas entièrement en l'état dans les années 1950. L'hôtel Goüin est un hôtel particulier du XVe siècle, logeant tout d'abord un marchand de soieries puis une famille de banquiers, les Goüin, d'où il tire son nom. Il abrite actuellement le musée de la Société archéologique de Touraine. Sa façade est composée de rinceaux, qui sont des éléments d'architecture composés de feuillages. On peut y voir des objets datant de la préhistoire au XIXème siècle. L'objet principal à voir est la la reconstitution du cabinet de physique de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, qui se au château de Chenonceaux.

L'hôtel Goüin de Tours fait partie des très rares vestiges de l'architecture Renaissance à Tours. Le musée présente un panorama de l'histoire régionale et abrite également une collection d'objets provenant du château de Chenonceau.

Exposition "3 femmes, 1 passion : la tapisserie". La MARTINERIE est née d’amitié et de rêves, dans l’exaltation de la jeunesse, autour d’un même idéal, où, pensées, sentiments et art sont reliés. La production de ces trois artistes est impressionnante, contenant des milliers d’ouvrages. Elles ont donné naissance à des œuvres sensibles, spirituelles et intemporelles. Elles se sont reliées, toutes les trois, dans un projet commun pour extraire comme elles le disent si bien : « le Subtil et l’Epais ». Tout au long de leur vie ces licières n’ont cessé de croiser les fils, de les nouer, de les broder, de les tisser, déroulant toujours plus de bobines ou d’images de laines, de cotons ou de soies comme pour étirer le temps. Elles ont fait apparaitre des formes, des reliefs, des textures nous faisant voyager dans des contrées lointaines et retissant ainsi le lien entre les hommes, la nature et la beauté. Comme un fil tendu, de l’image au cœur.
