The Dutch Master is London’s biggest and best party boat, which has been host to the world’s best DJs over the years. The Dutch Master Party Boat is an extremely versatile vessel catering for DJs, Bands, gambling tables or lavish sit-down dinners.

The Dutch Master cruises in style up and down the Thames hosting events for London’s biggest promoters offering themed events and brunches. There’s no denying, club nights are her forte!

During the week, she hosts a variety of private boat parties. Whether it be a corporate event, a party for students or staff, wedding reception, birthday celebration, or merely just a river transfer from A-B.

At Thames Leisure, we own and operate a sterling fleet of boats that can accommodate all size ranges and event types, along with owning the original Thames boat hire and ticketed experiences Agency. Somewhat uniquely, if your requirements don’t quite suit the Dutch Master or your preferred date is not available, we still have you covered.

Thames Leisure London is co-owned by the Britton family. The Britton’s are one of the oldest and most trusted names on the Thames having passed down the Watermans apprenticeship from father to son for over 400 years. In fact, the Brittons have been working on the river for so long they have seen both reigns of Elizabeth I (1558-1603) and Elizabeth II (1952 – 2022) and now King Charles (2022).

Here is a family photo in 1963, Captain William Britton (pictured back left) is the first Captain of the Dutch with his son James Britton as the second Captain and his Nephew Rive Britton as the third Captain, the legacy continues.

RATES FOR UP TO 250 PASSENGERS:

Daytime 4 Hour Charter (Until 5pm) Monday – Friday £1,600 (£400 per Hour) Saturday – Sunday £1,700 £425 per Hour

Evening (After 5pm) Monday- Thursday £1,700 (£425 per Hour) Friday – Sunday £2,300 (£575 per Hour)

RATES FOR UP TO 375 PASSENGERS:

PRICING NOTES:

• All pricing is based on the minimum 4 hrs hire requirement. Additional hours are charged pro-rata
• Boat hire is zero rated (no VAT)
• 1am is the latest finish time and is at our discretion and a £450 late finish surcharge applies
• Security is required on all events
• Bank holidays and special calendar dates are charged at the weekend rate and security is charged as double
• Own catering surcharge is £250 + VAT
• Own DJ/use of equipment is charged at £400 + VAT
• Other costs may apply depending on your final requirements

The Dutch Master is London’s biggest club / party boat with three floors holding a total capacity of 375 people. Not only does the Dutch Master have the biggest artificially grassed rooftop terraces but it also has the world’s best sound system. Over the three floors Funktion One has installed and optimised their sound system to make sure that every single corner of the boat is filled with crystal clear sound that will keep you dancing all night long.

Due to her size the Dutch Master is one of the very few boats on the Thames that is required to have the iconic Tower Bridge open for her as she sails through, your guests will feel so lucky to participate in a truly unique and rare experience.

Tate Modern

St Paul’s Cathedral

Shakespeare’s Globe

Tower of London

Due to the size of the Dutch the boat can only sail up to Blackfriars Bridge but can sail out to the mouth of the Thames.

Tower Bridge

Type: Suspension bridge, Bascule bridge Opened: 1894 Architects: Horace Jones, George D. Stevenson Info: At the time the bridge cost £1,184,000 to build, in today’s money that equates to £152,616,515. Due to the Dutch Masters size Tower bridge is one of the few boats on the Thames that the bridge must open to pass underneath.

The Mayflower

Type: Pub Opened: 1550 Info: Mayflower is named after the Mayflower ship that set sail from the moorings of this pub. The Mayflower contained 102 English Pilgrims, that set sail for America, creating the first permanent Conoly in the new world.

The Prospect of Whitby

Type: Pub Opened: 1520 Info: The Prospect of Whitby has claimed to be one of the oldest pubs in London. This pub has been pouring pints since the reign of King Henry VIII, and has seen Princess Margaret, Samuel Pepys, Charles Dickens, Muhammad Ali and Frank Sinatra propping up the bar.

Canary Wharf

Type: Office Tower Opened: 1991 Info: At the time of its construction it was the tallest 2nd tallest building in Europe.

Royal Naval College
