Fantastic Getaways does an amazing job at organizing day trips, and also extended stays at prime destinations, for us on Cape. Their tour guides are engaging and knowledgeable. Lunches - when offered on day trips - check each to see - are tops. Tips are included for every server, even the bus driver, so you know costs beforehand: no surprises, most trips are 'all-inclusive.' (Exceptions are disclosed . . . ) Have not traveled since before Covid, so I'm psyched to start again. (Note: masks required on buses, but any savvy traveler will be fully vaccinated.) PS: Trips are reasonably priced. They're ethical, fair, personable: go for it!

Our Approach

Every business has a beginning, and this is where you talk about yours. People want to know what opportunity you saw or how your passion led to the creation of something new. Talk about your roots--people wanna know you have some.

THE BIRTH OF A VISION: Our founder, Reynold Ramjeawan, an experienced businessman by profession, moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2008, specifically to the island of Grand Turk. He was always looking for new initiatives and business ventures. Reynold treasured spending time with his new born son Matthew, taking him to different places on Grand Turk, an island that is prominent for its Bermudian Style Architecture, turquoise beaches, legendary ship wrecks and the rich history of its salt trading years. Reynold began his marketing research as he knew that he wanted to penetrate the tourism industry. His charismatic and personable nature easily enabled him to approach tourists who visited the islands to ask them about the different tours they liked. He then began to put pen to paper and looked at tours that were unique to the island. He wanted to develop a tour company that was fun, safe and ensured value for money. Reynold shared his idea with a few confidants as well as with his sister-in-law, Cynthia Rampersad, who was very interested in his idea.

Reynold and Cynthia wanted most of all to establish a company that was ‘fun’, but also embraced the rare, lustrous beauty of the islands. After many discussions, it was agreed that the business should be named:

Fun tastic Tours Company Ltd. Experience the untouched beauty of nature…

The company’s Brand soon followed:
