Got some shawarma, all seemed good until I caught a whiff of the towel - not the scent I expected! The shawarma was tasty and clean, but a pro tip: upgrade the laundry game for those towels. Better hygiene would make this spot top-notch!
When traveling we have almost always found Pilot Travel Centers to be good and dependable places to stop for gas and chain fast food meals; this one was no exception. As is mostly the case with Pilot Travel Centers, this one was generally clean and the employees were polite and helpful. The gas prices at Pilot are competitive so we know we are getting a fair price. Also, most Pilot Travel Centers have one or two fast food chain restaurants attached so you can grab a quick meal. This one had a McDonalds and a Subway restaurant; we went with Subway. In addition to the chain restaurants, Pilot Travel Centers have their own line of snacks, sandwiches, and drinks, both hot and cold. I think Pilot has established a good reputation as represented by this location and that is the main reason we seek them out when we are on a road trip.
This is a great pit stop on 337 because they have so many snack choices! The employees are also very responsive and will not let a line form, I saw the manager step in to start checking people out just after she was organizing the cinnabon boxes. A culture of multi-tasking is a big plus with the high traffic this place sees. Thank you. The $42 million TXDOT expansion of 337 begins next month so there will no doubt be even more traffic crowding this place.
I was just refused service at a gas station because I tried to pay cash. She said they didn't have correct change. It was 20 cents. 20 fucking cents. Seriously. We are letting these people control our lives and tell us how to spend legitimate currency. We are being denied service over real money. Time to wake up people. Stop letting morons ruin us. Our money isn't digital. It's hard core currency. Pilot is a garbage company along with the likes of Walmart. I can't believe I was refused service because I tried to pay cash.
These interstate gas stations never disappoint. I make it a point to stop at these gas stations they have the cleanest restrooms. they pretty much everything you need as far as road food, even a fast food restaurant if you want that. I really recommend stopping at these gas stations.
Poor facility. Superficially clean. Coffee area smells sour, gnats everywhere. Hot water faucets on coffee urns either don't work, have water buildup on them, or barely let any water out.
Nice staff. Filthy ladies' room; overflowing trash bins and feminine hygiene receptacles; feces filled toilet paper smashed into toilet seat cover on wall; didn't shower here yet. Nice adjoining Subways and McDonald's. Some parking spots for CV. No shade. Was 95-105 degrees the whole time I was there. I cringe over public restroom here but would still stopover as needed.
Shell on 337 paid with card and machine never worked, very frustrating $1.75. If there is an emergency you are out of luck.
Stopped here for a pick me up at their mickey d,'s what a disaster this place is! I used the bathroom while my bf ordered food. Their location makes you drives a mile to get to them. Sketchy location. Bathroom had no soap in dispensers paper towels and toilet paper were wet scattered all over the bathroom just disgusting! Each stall was dirtier than the next one I went to the last stall no toilet seat covers none of the stalls had any...I handled my business as I was finishing I looked to the side and there was a huge smear of poop on the wall. Disgusting pitiful place. After that I got a bag of chips cashier was trying to gain points using her own pilot card too I caught her doing it I corrected her then she didn't give me a bag either and went to talk to a fellow employee. Avoid this mess!
What can I say? I LOVE truck stops. As I was doing my Shoehead gypsy thing; criss-crossing the U.S. of A., I really learned to appreciate these Oases of the highways. More than just reflectors, chrome grills, and CB radios for your semi; more than inspirational Christian bookstands, more than fast food joints AND a sit-down Stucky's-type restaurant. Even more than the showers, laundry, and (I'm told) hookers for the lonely traveler. A truck stop is a microcosm of post-WWII Americana. They have just about everything you need there for the journey across the great American highway system, and more. In fact, based on my love of truck stops, and my visit to this particular truck stop, I plan to make a truck stop list. oh yeah. Just watch me. So, as far as truck stops go, this one was clean, fast, and they had exactly what I needed, when I needed it on my return trip from me and Mom's excursion to San Antonio. In this case it was a high -octane coffee, and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal bar. (Yummy!) For good measure, I also got the Cocoa Puffs cereal bar as well. It was just the jolt I needed! Thank you Pilot! I'll be back!

Are both aircrafts safe? Are the pilots very experienced? I have heard many horror stories about Aeroflot.
The RT is $500 cheaper than the competitor but I do not want my life jepordized.
Hopefully someone who has flown the planes lately can give me input.
God bless you!
chickened out and cancelled my ticket for full refund.
I have read too many horrible reviews on Aeroflot- Poor Customer Service, chaos at SVO ( I have one 5 hours and one 8 hours layover) I think I will just book an Awards travel ticket on Business Class instead.
I find Aeroflot the same as any other air line. You should have saved he $500. I hear nothing bad about them? Where are you hearing all the bad press? AIM.
No issues with Aeroflot, but agree with Marassa...8 hours layover, plus, am guessing even flying time (not what I would think would be very "direct" route) to me makes this a suspect proposition...
Also, not to mention in case something goes wrong, would rather be "stuck" somewhere more in "central/Western Europe...
Dont know who writes these reviews or when - SVO was a breath of fresh air, I felt like I ended up in a commercial for air travel not a real airport. AND wifi was free, so why even leave?
nothing wrong with Aeroflot. In fact one of the better carriers around. I have trust them my life on several occaissions and they took care of me ;-)
Sukhoi: still a bit early stages for this plane and understandably a bit worrying, that crash there. However, be comforted by the fact that there are no mountains and thunderstorms around here (or less often anyway), unlike the crash site.

- About Us We connect people, place and community. Our programs encourage sustainable living, provide experiential learning, and offer opportunities for serving in our community, while actively protecting and restoring our natural resources. Visit Our Nature Center and enjoy trails, wetlands, outdoor art, Bikes for Tikes and more. PCEI has four main program areas: Restoration, Education, Nature Center, and AmeriCorps. The Restoration Program is dedicated to increasing public education about watershed conservation and increasing public involvement in watershed decisions. The Restoration Program works to preserve, protect and restore ecosystems in the Palouse-Clearwater region. This work includes riparian and wetland restoration, Palouse Prairie rehabilitation, watershed planning, water quality protection, biological monitoring, and a focus on native plants and wildlife. Projects are collaborative in nature and are always science-based and community- centered. PCEI offers a variety of quality educational programs to schools, community groups, and adults. We focus on increasing awareness and knowledge of issues important to Palouse watersheds and ecosystems, developing critical thinking skills and engaging participants in service projects that restore or enhance current watershed conditions. Our programs are highly interactive, place-based and promote hands-on exploration of the natural world. The PCEI AmeriCorps program places AmeriCorps members to complete projects that engage members of their communities in Sustainable Community Planning and Conservation. The overall project goal is to increase citizen behavior that leads to conservation of natural resources and sustainable community planning. Members will engage citizens of all ages, in an effort to ensure buy-in, ownership and an ethic of environmental stewardship. Visitors are always welcome at the PCEI Nature Center! Located in Moscow, Idaho, our 17.4-acre Nature Center is open dawn to dusk 7 days a week. Enjoy many unique features such as: nature trails, universally accessibly pathway, wetlands, outdoor art, sustainable living projects (check out the Jim LaFortune Memorial “Groover” and the Nancy Taylor Stage and Pavilion), Bikes for Tikes and more!
- Our Impact Our work is to try to turn our on the ground projects into a community building exercise as well. In the long run, because we use volunteers, and get people involved on an emotional level, it has the long-term benefit of being a more sustainable project. People become invested in the work.
