Set Sail For Adventure As One Piece Exhibition Arrives In Resorts World Genting

One Piece “The Great Era of Piracy” Exhibition Asia Tour is set to be the largest experiential exhibition in South East Asia this March 2023.

With its second stop after Hong Kong, the exhibition will be docking in Resorts World Genting from March 23 to May 8, 2023.

Fans of the popular anime and manga franchise, One Piece, will have the opportunity to experience the epic journey of their beloved Straw Hat Crew in a 25,000 sq. feet exhibition area with 21 thematic, iconic zones and life-size FRP sculptures.

The exhibition promises an immersive adventure for fans of all ages, taking them through famous scenes from Monkey D. Luffy’s adventures throughout the manga’s 25 years of publication.

The exhibition features ten large statues of characters on display in a huge venue including the Pirate King himself, Gol D. Roger, and Luffy’s battle against Charlotte Katakuri during the Whole Cake Island arc.

But it’s not just the larger-than-life sculptures that fans will enjoy. The exhibition also offers interactive AR games with enhanced zone features, where fans can collect points till the end of the game to walk away with exciting curated prizes. In addition, fans can also play mini carnival games at the end of the exhibition area and win exclusive rewards.

The exhibition is a great opportunity for fans to get their hands on limited edition One Piece merchandise items that are only available for purchase at the venue for a limited time only.

Event Details & Ticket Prices

For fans who buy tickets before 16 March, they will get an early bird rate of RM80 for Malaysian adults, RM90 for Foreigners, and RM40 for seniors, students and children while infants that are 3 years old and below can enter for free.

The One Piece “The Great Era of Piracy” Exhibition will be held at the Pavilion area of Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park at Resorts World Genting from March 23 to May 8, 2023. Fans of One Piece should not miss this chance to experience the adventure of a lifetime.

Featuring fan-favourite scenes straight out from the piracy world of One Piece, this exhibition is a tribute to loyal One Piece readers or anime lovers – and a chance for them to step into the world of One Piece and become a part of the adventure in real life!

Of mirrored installations and vibrant lighting displays, these thematic zones are guaranteed to take your breath away. One of our favourites is the infinity-mirror zone of Skypiea, where the Roger Pirates found the Poneglyphs that led them to the island of Laugh Tale, which is said to be the final destination for any pirate who wants to find the One Piece.

What makes this leg of the exhibition so special? Well, there’s additional never-before-seen experiential zones for Malaysian One Piece fans to explore! So remember to charge up your phones and flaunt your best pose.  

2. Marvel at the life-sized One Piece figurines

At these 21 zones within the exhibition, there’s plenty of life-sized FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) sculptures of beloved One Piece characters, such as Luffy, Princess Shirahoshi, Katakuri, Yamato, and many more!

The star of the exhibition is definitely the 3D sculpture of the Onigashima raid, which features breathtaking fight scenes such as the epic showdown between Luffy and Kaido. This is the second time in the world that this detailed sculpture was unveiled, and it’s a must-see for all One Piece fans!

3. Earn points via interactive AR games and win a mystery prize

Various zones within the exhibition include multi-sensory interactive augmented reality (AR) games – a MUST to check out!

To participate, just download the app and sign in, and then you’re ready to play! When you explore the exhibition, you’ll be guided by various crew to play the games in which you can collect points. Every week, those on the top of the leaderboard will receive a special prize.

Zones that include AR games are Whole Cake Island, Defending the Fish Man Island, Battle of the Mirror World, and more.

You can even create your own wanted poster displaying your current points via the official exhibition app to share on social media for bragging rights!

Moreover, towards the end of the exhibition, there’s a zone called the Land of Wano which features various carnival mini-games to play! Tickets to play these carnival games are chargeable, priced at RM10 for two tickets, or RM30 for eight tickets.

Malaysian One Piece fans, assemble! The One Piece Asia Tour Exhibition is finally coming to Genting Skytropolis at the end of March!

The first in Southeast Asia, this exhibition named “The Great Era of Piracy” will last from 23 March to 8 May 2023 in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. It will be open daily during that period of time, from 10am to 10pm.

Some of the highlights of the tour include 21 iconic thematic zones of the One Piece anime, many life-size FRP sculptures of One Piece characters, interactive AR games and mini carnival games for fans to collect points and win prizes, and limited edition of One Piece merchandise for sale.

The early bird tickets are already on sale now, priced at RM84 for Malaysian adults aged 18 years old and above, and RM104 for foreign adults, including the ticket processing fee. The early bird price for students and children below 18 years old, as well as senior citizens, is RM44. Kids aged 3 years old and below with an adult guardian can enter for free.

The venue of the tour exhibition is in Pavilion, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, at Resorts World Genting. It will take approximately 45 to 90 minutes to finish the tour. Fans of the manga can start purchasing the tickets here , and hope you have fun at the event!

What You Can Expect

This March 2023, the One Piece "The Great Era of Piracy" Exhibition Asia Tour will be the largest experiential exhibition in South East Asia. We went to the One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour Malaysia Resorts World Genting last week and time for the honest review. This is our second time visiting One Piece Exhibition as we visited One Piece Tokyo Tower a couple of years ago.

Firstly, this is the largest One Piece Exhibition in the world. This is bigger than the One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour. More reason, to visit the One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour in Malaysia right?

One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour Malaysia.

Venue: Pavilion, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Resorts World Genting

 Date: 23 March – 8 May 2023 (Mon – Sun, 10am – 10pm)

Duration: Approximately 45-90 minutes

The One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour Malaysia is located inside Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Resorts World Genting.

You need to purchase the ticket and there are three slots per day. Expect to spend at least 45 minutes as there are 21 zones. For our photo and video shooting, we spent more than 2 hours inside the One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour Malaysia.

After you get your tickets, remember to download the One Piece App. You need the One Piece App to play games and stand a chance to win cool prizes. If you don’t have enough credits, don’t worry. There is a game carnival and you can pay to play fun games to get enough credits to win One Piece official merchandise.

There are many life-size One Piece sculptures and you can really spent some time taking photos or videos. If you want to dance, there are many places for you to dance.

There are interactive games as well as AR games at selected zones. Play well so you can get lots of credits to redeem to cool prizes yeah.

There are quite a few zones that are really impressive. Many nostalgic zones that makes you jump in joy.

To be honest, the One Piece Exhibition Asia Tour Malaysia Resorts World Genting is worth the money spent. You can watch the video and (not all the zones are in the video) so you still get the surprise!

The One Piece is Real at the Exhibition in Genting Malaysia

Can we get much higher than genting.

Recently, we had the chance to join the Straw Hat crew through a special Media and Partners Day which aims to showcase the One Piece The Great Era of Piracy Exhibition Asia Tour at Pavilion Hall in Skytropolis Indoor Theme park, Resorts World Genting, Malaysia.

With an estimated RM5,000,000 investment, the tour promises to transport guests into the world of One Piece, where they will join the Straw Hat Crew on their most recent adventures through an exhibition that has 21 thematic zones and span 25,000 sq feet.

The tour took about 45-90 minutes and you can experience the journey of the Straw Hats through interactive exhibits, authentic pirate artifacts and engaging multimedia displays. 

Catering to both long-time fans or those new to the world of One Piece, the 21 thematic zones are sure to entice everyone, but true One Piece fans will definitely not want to miss them as they include fan-favorite legendary Pirate King, Gol D. Roger as well as characters that are associated with Roger and his crew.

Important locations are also featured within these zones, one such zone include Skypiea which is where the Roger Pirates found the Poneglyphs that led them to the island of Laugh Tale which is the final destination for any pirate who wants to find the One Piece.

These zones will also include iconic events that took place in the One Piece world such as The Marineford Zone where the Battle of Marineford, a major conflict between the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates that resulted in the deaths of several important characters and had major consequences for the One Piece world as a whole as well as the fandom. 

Life-size FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) sculptures of beloved One Piece characters such as Luffy, Katakuri, Yamato and many more are on display as well at the exhibition so fans can take photos with these iconic characters making the visit more memorable.

One of the zones will also include a 180-degree immersive interactive mini-theatre showcasing Luffy’s 25 years of adventures with the Straw Hat Crew which will truly take fans down a nostalgia trip. The exhibition will also feature the largest, brand-new 3D sculpture of the Onigashima raid, complete with breathtaking fights like the epic showdown between Luffy and Kaido. The sculpture is being unveiled for only the second time in the world, making it a must-see for all the fans.

Sail deeper into the One Piece World With AR Games

Ace Media Network are also including multi-sensory interactive augmented reality (AR) games in enhanced zones throughout the venue, the games are made to fully immerse visitors by bringing the exhibition to life through modern day technology.

Simply download the official app on your mobile phones and get ready to play! The app also provides a platform for fans to view their rankings and compare scores with friends in real-time to earn rewards.

The One Piece exhibition Malaysia will also feature mini carnival games for both adults and children, from classic games that are changed to match the One Piece theme like ring toss and balloon darts to new twists on old favorites as well.

There will also be limited edition merchandise available for sale, allowing visitors to take home official One Piece merchandise, as well as unique souvenirs exclusive to the exhibition.

The One Piece Exhibition The Great Era of Piracy Asia Tour in Malaysia will be available From March 23rd to May 8th, 2023 with operating hours from 10 am to 10 pm and promises to be an exciting event for One Piece fans and visitors of all ages.
