Hardy Announces 2023 ‘the mockingbird & THE CROW’ Tour

HARDY’s hitting the road.

On the heels of announcing his second studio album the mockingbird & THE CROW , he announced that he’ll be touring in support of the new half country, half rock record in 2023.

The tracklist for this album will literally be split in half, with all the country songs written in lowercase letters, the title track is also split, and all following rock songs are in uppercase writing.

He previously noted that this project will explore the internal pull he often feels between making the music he was raised on in Mississippi, and exploring the rock side of his personality and the other kinds of music he really loves.

Hardy is also gearing up for his Wall to Wall bar tour this December, and if he’ll be anywhere near you on either trek, don’t miss it.

Tickets for the mockingbird & THE CROW tour go on sale this Friday, and Jameson Rodgers and Blame My Youth will be opening for him, keeping that half rock, half country concept going even out on tour:

H ardy played his first show of the new year at the Phoenix Open Coors Light Birds Nest on Wednesday, Feb. 7, treating fans to a hit-filled set that put the focus squarely on selections from his first chart-topping entry on the Billboard album chart, “The Mockingbird & the Crow.”

Nearly half the songs he played were from that 2023 release, from “Wait in the Truck,” his hit duet with Lainey Wilson, on which Jax stepped in for Wilson in an Arizona Cardinals jersey, to “Sold Out,” his first release to top the Billboard Hard Rock chart.

And he signed off with a single he released last month in advance of "Hardy 3."

But that still left plenty of time for such long-standing audience favorites as “Rednecker” (the breakthrough hit whose chorus boasts “You might think that you're redneck/But I'm rednecker than you), “One Beer” (the drinking song he took to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart) and his signature song of sorts, “Unapologetically Country as Hell.”

Announcing the next leg of his sold-out the mockingbird & THE CROW Tour today, Big Loud Records rule breaker HARDY is headed back out on the road this fall including a stop at Peoria Civic Center Arena on Friday, December 1st, bringing reigning CMA New Artist and Female Vocalist of the Year Lainey Wilson and buzzy Sony Music Nashville signing Dylan Marlowe along for an unforgettable ride.

Produced by Live Nation and presented by eBay Motors, the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour ups the ante, marking HARDY’s first run headlining arenas.

If anyone celebrated one hell of a banner year in 2023, it was country-rocker HARDY.

Following the release of his album, the mockingbird & THE CROW , in January, he spent the bulk of the year introducing fans old and new to his new, metal-inspired sound all across the US.

After such an explosive year for the genre-agnostic singer-songwriter, you'd think he'd pump the brakes and catch his breath, but not even two weeks after the calendar turned over to 2024 he's already unveiling his next musical era with the release of lead single, 'QUIT!!', and an accompanying tour headed into the summer.

After fulfilling a handful of rescheduled dates from last fall, HARDY will come out swinging on May 30 in Rogers, Arkansas.

With nearly every weekend of the summer booked up with three-plus shows a piece, he'll bring his genre-blurring brand of country music to fans in Missouri, Indiana, New York, North Carolina, Virginia and more through the month of June.

Come July, he'll wrap this first string of shows up with appearances in Cincinnati, Ohio and Tinley Park, Illinois on the 25th and 27th, respectively.

HARDY will be bringing quite the crew of special guests with him, including Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley and Holler favorite Stephen Wilson Jr., all of whom will serve as support on various dates throughout the trek.

The 'Truck Bed' tunesmith will be on hand at a variety of top-tier festivals in 2024, including Tortuga Music Festival and Stagecoach in April, as well as Patriotic Festival, Country Concert, Rock the South and Country Thunder Alberta , among others.

Having already gained a reputation for putting on high-octane, electrifying shows, the singer-songwriter's foray into the rockier outer edges of country has only amplified this.
