Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is in the UK, so here’s what to wear to the concert

Got Eras tour outfits on your mind? We don't blame you. After kicking off the European leg of her sell-out, record-breaking, earthquake -inducing Eras Tour earlier this Spring, Taylor Swift arrived in the UK on June 7. ICYMI, she's here 'til she wraps up in London on August 20th. Swifties, are you ready for it ? And more importantly, what are we all wearing?

It's not as though we've had little time to prepare. Taylor's first The Eras Tour concert was held in March last year (!), but as is the case with holiday packing and festival outfit selection, we've left it to the last minute.

Choice is abundant, of course. Particularly if you’re hoping to ditch the merch and curate an outfit inspired by your favourite Era. From the classics on Fearless – here's hoping we see a Love Story proposal – to all The Tortured Poet's Department songs, yes all 31 of them, every era is covered on Taylor’s killer set list . As such, which one to choose – and the best accompanying Eras Tour outfit – remains hot topic in the GLAMOUR office.

Speak Now girlies (Taylor's version, ofc.): look towards lilac rhinestones, beading and frills – bonus points for butterflies in undone hair – while those taking inspo from the Fearless era should consider tassels and knee-high boots. Elsewhere, shop a boho maxi dress and cardigan combo if you’re going after Folkore.

If you're a 1989 fan, baby blue is the colour of the moment – paired with denim and a cowboy hat – and you can put a grown-up spin on the Red era with a Reformation crop top you’re sure to wear throughout the summer.

This sequin-adorned co-ord from ASOS has Lover written all over it – not least because it does all the talking for you. The sequin boots are totally optional (I found some on ASOS Marketplace , if you're on board), but all you really need to finish the look is a pair of heart-shaped sunnies and Too Faced's That's My Jam eyeshadow palette . Alongside the the winged liner and red lippie , it'll help you achieve a sweet, Taylor-approved makeup look.

2. Fearless

Fearless is, potentially, my favourite era – one where Taylor keeps hold of the sparkly boots but switches the bodysuit for a shimmery, metallic dress. Fringing is a huge theme across all of her eras, but it's the star of the show in her Fearless custom Roberto Cavalli dress – later traded for another fringed dress, but in silver.

ASOS Design's chain fringe belt will help you recreate the look without having to invest in a sequin fringed dress that you'll likely never wear again. Best worn over a white ruffle mini skirt – that you'll definitely be able to pair with bikinis on a summer holiday later this season. A sequin cami top would act as the perfect take on Taylor's Cavalli number, while a pair of gold cowboy boots nod to the era that cemented Taylor as a global superstar and style icon.

This one's easy. If the era of 22 and I Knew You Were Trouble is your favourite – the one in which Taylor revisits the "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" T-Shirt from the "22" music video, and later, another shirt that says, “We Are Never Getting Back Together, Like Ever," – then a slogan tee or head-to-toe red is the vibe.

4. Speak Now

Taylor sings one singular song from the Speak Now era in her tour, much-adored Enchanted – and to do so, she has worn a bespoke Nicole + Felicia Couture gown , a Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown , an Ellie Saab Fall 2020 gown, and a gown also by Saab from the 2022 AW collection. All of which a resurgence, in many ways, of the Valentino gown she wore to sing the same song on her Speak Now tour.

Of course, similar levels of glitz might be a tad overboard for attending the concert yourself (no judgement, though) – so opting for purple, as well as butterfly motifs, is a good way to bring her iconic tulle cover to life. ASOS Design's frill mini dress plays into Gen-Z's current adoration of cottagecore , while the clip-in butterflies and More To Come's butterfly top add a playful injection to your Eras Tour outfit.

5. Reputation

Moody, grungy and dark is the vibe for Reputation girlies, and we're convinced this sequin mini dress by Topshop at ASOS is the perfect outfit from which to scream ‘ Don't Blame Me ,’ ‘ Delicate ,’ and ‘ Look What You Made Me Do ’ from the top of your lungs.

You'd be taking inspo from Taylor's own Reputation costume if you invest: she brings fierce energy in an asymmetrical black Roberto Cavalli bodysuit during this segment of the tour. Once again, adorned in sparkles.

6. Folkmore (“Folklore” and “Evermore” combined)

Beautiful boho vibes are the name of the game for those looking for Folkmore-inspired outfit ideas, with milkmaid dresses your best option for mirroring the muted  purple Alberta Ferretti and Alberta Ferretti dresses Taylor wears for this section of the show. Think: fairytale, rustic and whimsical. Comfort is key, obvs, so pair your boho Motel Jati dress with a pair of Gigi Hadid -approved Adidas Gazelles.

Roberto Cavalli is, once again, behind the sequin two-piece that Taylor wears for the era of Blank Space , Shake It Off and Wildest Dreams . But while Taylor opts for magenta or bright green chunky fringe and sequins, we're convinced that taking inspiration from the New York views, girl squad hangouts and seagulls that depicted 1989 is the best route to go down with your outfit.

H&M's strap detail top would look epic paired with white jeans or denim shorts and cowgirl boots – and this cute fur-trimmed cowgirl hat can definitely be reworn at all those hen parties throughout the summer. Throw an open linen shirt over your Eras Tour outfit to fight the British weather.

Released on April 19, 2024, The Tortured Poets Department is the eleventh studio album by Taylor – and her latest. When it dropped earlier this year, it not only set new Spotify streaming records, but resurfaced Kardashian drama and kickstarted a new era for us to gain outfit inspo from.

On #SwiftTok, the TTPD aesthetic has been compared to everything from "greyscale clean girl" to “prep school dropout”, but the easiest – and most in-keeping – ways to mirror the vibe are by following “ office siren ” or “ dark academia ” aesthetics. Think: rose motifs, sleek blazers, tailored trousers, unbuttoned shirts and monochrome. Or, keep it simple with black jeans and this ”But Daddy, I Love Him" tee from Etsy.

9. Midnights

For the last – but not least – era on our outfit tour: Midnights. And in navy blue sequins, you'll look like you've stepped right out of Taylor's age of extravagance and reflection. Being in your Midnights era, after all, is thinking back to past versions of yourself (and wondering whether that's still you). You need to look bejewelled.

Taylor wears a custom Oscar De La Renta gown for this part of her tour, loose-fitting and studded in iridescent crystals – paired with a fur coat, also custom by Oscar De La Renta. She sheds layers as the era progresses, finally revealing a custom Oscar De La Renta bodysuit to perform Vigilante Sh*t . Topshop's navy disco sequin dress is reminiscent of Taylor's look, best paired with hair gems and silver accessories – like this epic shoulder bag from Pull & Bear.

All Of Taylor Swift's New Eras Tour Looks

Her wardrobe still makes the whole place shimmer.

Taylor Swift is staying bejeweled. The singer revamped the Eras Tour when she resumed it for four shows in Paris from May 9-12. It featured her first performances of the Tortured Poets Department songs, but she did more than just change up her setlist .

Throughout the weekend, Swift debuted several new outfits, representing almost all of her 11 studio albums with a fresh look.

Some eras, like 1989 , got a complete overhaul, with Carrie Bradshaw - inspired mismatched shoes and Easter egg-filled dresses, while others were refreshed with each act’s aesthetic in mind.

The Fearless Era

Swift brought the crowd back to high school with her new Fearless dress. For her first Paris show, she wore a beaded tank dress from Naeem Khan with shiny gold, silver, and black fringe, complete with custom black Christian Louboutin boots.

The Speak Now Era

Swift’s Speak Now era is all about romantic princess dresses, and she continued to deliver new iterations in Paris. On Night 1, she debuted a lavender-hued custom Reem Acra gown with crystal swirl embellishments and seashell-esque pleats.

The Red Era

The singer debuted three new custom Ashish T-shirts — based on her iconic “Not A Lot Going On At The Moment” look — with clever sayings that either thrilled or puzzled Swifties. On May 9, Swift came out wearing a tee that read “This Is Not Taylor’s Version.”

The following night, her shirt read “I Bet You Think About Me,” after her Red (Taylor’s Version) v ault track, and for her final Paris show, she paid tribute to her hit “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

The 1989 Era

Swift truly shook it off (or rather, shook it up) for her new 1989 looks, swapping out her monochrome sets for mismatched outfits — all the way down to the shoes, à la Carrie Bradshaw. For her first show, she wore a sequined pink ombré bra top and glittery mermaid blue skirt, with one shoe in each hue.

The following nights, she went for an orange and purple combo, and then a green and pink, all designed by Roberto Cavalli with custom Christian Louboutin shoes.

For her fourth and final show, she subtly paid tribute to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, by wearing his team colors of yellow and red.

The Reputation Era

The only Eras Tour outfit that Swift has yet to change is Reputation’s black and red one-legged bodysuit. The most common fan theory is that she’ll finally switch up the look when she announces Reputation (Taylor’s Version) .

The Lover Era

Swift got fiery in the City of Love for the Lover era, debuting a sparkling orange Versace bodysuit with matching ombré boots from Louboutin.

And of course, she threw on a matching blazer for “The Man.”

The Folklore + Evermore Era

For the revamped Eras Tour, Swift combined the Folkore and Evermore eras into one act, and even reflected that in the wardrobe. At her first Paris show, she wore a yellow version of her flowy Folklore gown as a nod to her Evermore wardrobe.

The following night, she debuted a new magenta-hued version. Both dresses were custom-designed by Alberta Ferretti.

The Midnights Era

While it’s no longer her newest album, Swift still refreshed her Midnights look in Paris, debuting a purple chevron-patterned bodysuit by Zuhair Murad with triangular side cut-outs, halter-top neckline, and a fringe hem.

The Tortured Poets Department Era

Swift added The Tortured Poets Department act to the show. For her first look , she donned a white Vivienne Westwood gown with a corset, high-low skirt, and “Fortnight” lyrics written all over.

But before the act’s final song, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” Swift did an onstage costume change, revealing a daring no-pants look. She stripped down to a black bra top and high-waisted underwear before putting on a circus-ringleader-style jacket. She debuted white and silver versions of this get-up the following nights.

With over 60 shows left and two Taylor’s Version re-recordings on the way, there’s no telling how Swift will switch up her wardrobe going forward.

It's been a long time coming but.... it's been a crazy few years for miss Taylor Swift. She's dropped hint after hint, easter egg after easter egg, song after song, music video after music video!! She's truly a great entertainer and artist, and genuinely one of my favorite musicians to fangirl over.

I got tickets to Taylor Swift's Era's tour, and am trying to decide what era I should go as. . I can't wait to see what Taylor Swift's concert outfits are for this tour!

What do I wear to a Taylor Swift concert? Especially to the Eras tour?

Attendees are planning to wear outfits inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift era. There are ten eras total: Taylor Swift (Self-Titled), Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights. Each era has its own vibe, color aesthetic, and specific pieces Taylor wore during those periods. For example, Reputation is an absolute classic, with snake print, black leather, and tons of sass. Or maybe the Red era? I mean, that one IS my favorite Taylor Swift album. Come as a sad autumn girl with a red scarf, black high-waisted shorts and oxfords— that's definitely a vibe.

But as I was thinking through this, I thought maybe I could make mood boards and help others find the perfect Taylor Swift outfits from amazon to wear to Taylor Swift's concert on her The Eras Tour! I assure you, while putting this list together, with each era I worked on I listened to the album ;) Guaranteed inspiration!

Because of each stadium's bag policy, concert-goers need to bring a clear see-through bag to the venue. Here are a few realyl cute ones I've found. The first is pretty simple, but you can find clear bags that are really stylized to fit your eras tour outfit!

Arguably the best Taylor Swift album, hands down. RED is my personal favorite from her discography, mostly because this is the era where I because a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, rather than just a casual listener. All of the raw pain and anguish in this album make this era (and the TV era!) probably what I'm going to choose for the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour!

Try to find a good striped shirt and some tailored high waisted shorts, and add a pair of red Keds to complete the look!

Be sure to wear plenty of sequins, shiny fabrics, and two-piece outfits for a true 1989 era look from Taylor Swift! Add on the quintessential white rayon-type sunglasses to look like a true 1989 fan.

Also, can you GET more 1989 than a pair of white rayon sunglasses? They were a staple piece in Taylor Swift's 1989 era.

This era is the most similar to my own personal style, so when I attended the Rep tour, I was living my best life!! All her songs have a pop edge to them, so make sure to dress accordingly.

Pink, lots of pink. Actually, all pink. Just kidding! I put together some outfit ideas that are inspired by some of her performance looks and music video outfits from the Lover era.

Makeup for your Lover eras tour outfit

If you're wanting to dress up as Taylor's Lover era, it's a sweet detail to do the heart shape makeup over her eye like she does on her album cover! In order to do that, you'll need two main items: liquid latex and skin-safe pink glitter. You can find them here:

I've used the liquid latex above before and it works really well. All you'll need to do is outline the heart around your eye with the liquid latex, wait for it to get tacky, and then apply the pink glitter!

Folklore Era

If you aren't the sparkly-dress Taylor Swift fan, and want to be a sad cottage-core girl, here is your chance! This album screams alone-in-the-woods-and-in-the-feels.

Am I crazy to say that Evermore is one of my favorite TSwift albums? It's definitely the most forgotten one, but WOW does it have some bops, both sad and lovely.

This era was so short-lived, but it gave us some beautiful looks! An easy go-to would be the brown/orange plaid jacket from Evermore. (I've linked on similar) Also, the Willow music video is a huge inspiration for these, and other Swifties will know exactly what you're going for!

Midnights only came out a few weeks ago while I'm writing this, so I'm still reeling from this album release! I know from the second I hear "Anti-Hero" that it would be an instant classic.

When it comes to the looks from Midnights era, they span from glitzy blue midnight dresses and plenty of sparkles, mixed with vintage looks that evoke a sense of 70s retro. Combining these all together will be the ultimate Midnights tour outfit!

The Taylor Swift Midnights vibe: Honestly, Taylor's Midnights aesthetic is all over the place, but can be boiled down to: 70s vintage, starry night, retro, oranges, blues, lavender, clocks, and anything, and I mean anything that is bejeweled.

Inspired by her 70's glam looks in much of the material for the release of her album midnights, you can don some burnt orange and corduroy and fit in well! The top and fur jacket look similar to the starry dress Taylor wore out when she was promoting "Midnights". For a more casual "Midnights" look, you can wear this sheer celestial top as well. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.

Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.

And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.

Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”

Taylor Swift opens with the Lover era

Taylor starts the beginning of every show looking drop-dead gorgeous in a custom Versace sequined bodysuit and sparkly Louboutin heels, setting the bar high for the rest of the concert's wardrobe!

She later accessories the look halfway through the 'Lover' set when she sports a bedazzled blazer over the top of the opening ensemble – wow!

The next section of the tour sees Taylor don three looks that call back to her 'Red' album with looks we've seen before!

The 34-year-old pop star called back to her Reputation World Tour with the fiery look she donned during the next segment of the concert.

Taylor brings the 'Speak Now' fairytale vibes to The Eras Tour

It may have been short but sweet but Taylor made quite the impact with the one song she chose to sing from the 'Speak Now' record.

Her fairytale-esque dresses are back for The Eras Tour as she belts out fan-favourite track 'Enchanted' whilst wearing a sequinned ball gown fit for a princess!

The gowns are strikingly similar to the Valentino one she wore during the 'Speak Now' tour back in 2012.

Swift makes a total of 16 costume changes throughout the show and wears 8 different pairs of shoes.

During Taylor Swift’s epic 3 1/2 hour Eras Tour set, she goes through 16 different costumes.

The music artist makes so many costume changes that some Swifties, what her fanbase calls themselves, created an app called Swift Alert that includes a guessing contest for each stop of the tour. Users make guesses on what outfits she will wear for each set and earn points when they are correct.

Excluding the “Speak Now” era, Swift tends to showcase one designer per set, with different versions from the same designer throughout the tour.

Swift does stick to Christian Louboutin shoes throughout the duration of the show — donning eight different pairs throughout the concert.

Here’s a look at all the variations the pop star wears throughout the show.

Taylor Swift’s ‘Fearless’ dresses

Swift’s first major costume change comes by way of dresses that all feature fringe, so when she spins, the fringe does too. Each of the four designs she’s worn so far are Roberto Cavalli, designed by designer Fausto Puglisi.

Taylor Swift’s ‘Red’ T-shirt, jumper and cloak

Swift dons a jumper under a white graphic tee that fans have clocked as a clue for what Swift is doing next. Last spring, the red letters on the shirt each night spelled out when “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” would be released.

She also wears a signature black fedora — a look she used in her “22″ music video in 2013. Each show, Swift selects a fan to share a moment with and give the Gladys Tamez hat to during the show. Most often, her handlers select children to experience the shining moment, but she has given the hat to TikTok artists who have gone viral for Swift-related content.

After performing “22,” Swift’s dancers help her take off the tee to reveal a sparkly sequined red and black jumper.

At the end of the “Red” set, the lights onstage go dark and a spotlight uncovers Swift clad in a sparkling floor length Ashish red and black robe. Swift asks fans in the audience if they have 10 minutes to spare for the full 10-minute version of the tragic breakup song “All Too Well.” Swift proceeds to sing nonstop for an impressive 10 minutes before sinking into the stage to prep for the next segment.

Taylor Swift’s ‘1989′ skirt and top set

Swift appears to have updated the style for the “1989″ set starting in the European leg of her tour. The original Roberto Cavalli style featured beading and matching tops, skirts and boots. Now the outfit often includes different colored tops and skirts and even mismatching boots.

The new Roberto Cavalli style also features tops and skirts with a different look than the original fits. Like everything Swift does, eagle-eyed fans noticed it might be an easter egg. When her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was in the audience, Swift wore a red and yellow set, which fans assume represents Kelce’s NFL team he plays for — the Kansas City Chiefs.

Taylor Swift’s surprise song dresses

Swift plays two surprise songs during each show. Fans have no idea what era the song comes from or what song it could possibly be until Swift starts singing. Before adding the “The Tortured Poets Department” set, Swift sang the surprise songs just after the “1989” set, undergoing a costume change onstage, with a ruffled dress layered over her “1989″ top and skirt. Now that it’s in a different section, Swift has opted for flowy chiffon Roberto Cavelli gowns instead.

Swift begins the final set of the show wearing an oversized sparkling tee featured in six different colors. Each one comes from Oscar de la Renta, as well as the furry lavender coat she wears for “Lavender Haze.”

Taylor Swift Has Worn 28 Different Outfits During The Eras Tour — And I'm Ranking Them All By Era

The Eras Tour is not your average concert experience. Fans who flock to a sold-out stadium to see Taylor Swift do her thing will get a three-hour performance with 44 songs and a mind-blowing 16 costume changes . Each ensemble embodies a different era of Taylor's career , and her wardrobe ranges from body suits to ball gowns.

The eras wardrobe is not messing around. curated by top-tier designers, we've seen at least 28 different looks if you count the costumes rotated out for different performances. how is this possible it seems there is a lot of layering happening so that costume changes can be done quickly...but also, taylor swift might be magic., though all 28 outfits ~make the whole place shimmer~, i'll be ranking every one by era ready i hope so here we go:.

28. In last place for me is the Red era looks. Though, this burning red body suit is a fitting homage to a color Taylor uses often in her music.

27. And it was fun to see present-day Taylor honor the old Taylor with this outfit from her "22" music video. Even though she's got ~a lot going on at the moment~, Swifties have to appreciate this easter egg!

26. But undoubtedly, the best article of clothing for this era is this dazzling jacket dress, worn during the 10-minute version of "All Too Well."

25. Next up in the ranking is the 1989 era, where this cute two-piece outfit with matching boots appears! When she's not wearing an ensemble the shade of amber skies, Taylor wears the same look in other colors.

24. Like this version, which is green as the grass in Centennial Park.

23. Or this version, which is so scarlet that it's practically maroon.

22. Each of the aforementioned two-piece outfits has a wrap dress that Taylor wears while playing her surprise songs. The yellow version goes over her orange two-piece.

20. But I'm really loving this burgundy version the most!

19. I'm ranking Evermore as the next best wardrobe era — though she only wears one dress for the segment. This golden dress is simple, flowy, and really embodies the understated elegance of this album.

18. Fearless is up next! This tasseled dress made its mark like a golden tattoo , with its country flare taking us back to Taylor's roots.

17. Likewise, this alternative Fearless fit honors a similar dress Taylor wore during her album tour in 2009.

16. The show opens with the Lover era in which Miss Americana opts for this colorful, pastel sequin body suit.

15. Though, her outfit while performing "The Man" is particularly iconic.

14. But I'm in love with this darker, striped, sparkling suit jacket worn for certain performances of "The Man," too.

13. While performing "Enchanted" from Speak Now , Taylor has worn one of three ball gowns. Last in my ranking for this song is this glorious dress adorned with flowers.

12. Second is this pink gown, which is pure magic and fit for a princess.

11. And my personal favorite "Enchanted" dress is this lavish, golden sequined gown.

10. Midnights is next and has a range of costumes, including this body suit.

9. For the closing number of the concert, Taylor throws on a tasseled jacket that she has stocked in numerous colors. This pink one is dance-party worthy.

8. But this funfetti one is even better!

7. While singing "Lavender Haze," Taylor has worn this pink T-shirt style dress paired with the purple shaggy jacket from the single's music video.

6. However, it's this bejeweled T-shirt dress and "Lavender Haze" jacket combo that is truly the moment.

5. Reputation ranks next — though similar to Evermore , it only has one look — because it's just plain fierce. This unique jumpsuit brings in the album's snake motif, and even Swifties weren't ready for it!

4. Finally, ranking at the very top of my list are Taylor's Folklore dresses. This pale pink ensemble — which appears for the night's most heartfelt and emotional performances — ranks last for me.

3. And she can aim for my heart, go for blood, with this chartreuse dress. So whimsical!

2. Just living for the hope of it all with this stunning purple bohemian-style dress, which is my second favorite.

1. And finally, at the very top of my list, is the cream-colored Folklore dress. Taylor sings some of her most epic bridges while twirling around in this outfit, and it perfectly suits the album's unique aesthetic!

The Enchanted Gown

Taylor famously uses vivid colors to depict her eras and albums—and Speak Now is purple, period.

So, of course, to announce the release date for Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , Taylor unveiled an enchanting new look for her set, donning a purple bespoke gown by Nicole + Felicia.

Tortured Poet Wedding Dress

On the opening night of the European leg of the Eras Tour in Paris, Swift stunned audiences who thought they knew the entire concert by heart. 

No longer! She switched up sets, cut songs, and added an entire "Era" honoring her latest album,  The Tortured Poets Department . Even better, she burst onto the stage with incredible visuals and a high-low wedding dress plastered with lyrics from her song "Fortnight." 

Fearless Fringe

For her Fearless set, Taylor sparkled in a sequin ombre gold-and-silver fringe gown designed by Roberto Cavalli.

The fringe gave her plenty of room to twirl around to her hits like "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," and "Fifteen."

TTPD Marching Band

For the scathing song "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," Taylor donned a military-style coat over her wedding dress and marched down the stage. Behind her, a My Chemical Romance-esque marching band followed suit. Many fans were confused by this imagery since she typically reserved it for earlier albums like  Fearless ,  Red , or  1989 .

This, however, is a military death march, and each member is taken out by "stray bullets" and flashes of red. During the final verse, Taylor goes down, symbolizing how it felt to be at war in her relationship and ultimately "going down with the ship." 

The Lover Bodysuit

Taylor opens The Eras Tour with the Lover era—making her grand entrance to fan favorite, "Cruel Summer"—in a custom-made Atelier Versace bodysuit.

The outfit, glittering with pink and blue jewels, pays homage to the enchanting pink and blue skies that grace the cover of the "Lover" album. And, of course, we can't forget the silver knee-high Christian Louboutin boots!

Down Bad UFO

For "Down Bad," Taylor wears the same TTPD wedding dress, but she shocked viewers everywhere with her new stage design. The block she lays on moves around the stage to make an infinity symbol and a UFO actually looks like it's tracking her around the stage! 

 The song heavily relies on UFO and alien abduction imagery to symbolize her last relationship being so intoxicating and transportive just to be abandoned "safe and stranded" in the end. 

The Reputation Catsuit

It's the one tour outfit that famously never changes—she's been rocking the same Roberto Cavalli catsuit while performing the Reputation  era since the Reputation tour in 2018.

Fans theorize she'll debut a new Rep suit when (if ever, at this point) she announces Reputation (Taylor's Version) .

Orange Bodysuit

Surprise! There's  another  new  Lover  bodysuit, and it might be one of our favorites of the entire lot. It looks like a sparkling sunset and perfectly complements the warm, cloudy imagers behind her. 

We believe that this is her attempt at reclaiming her "sparkling summer" after she experienced two crushing heartbreaks during the U.S. leg of the tour in 2023. 

Circus Ringleader Two-Piece

The entire TTPD set is pure theater-kid perfection, particularly when she swaps her wedding dress for a "Female Rage, The Musical!" interlude.

Two dancers pretend fo forced her into heels, a two piece, and ringleader jacket to perform her hit "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart." 

Flowy for Folklore

For her Folklore set, Taylor wore an off-white Alberta Ferretti dress covered in crystal embroidery—and those flowing sleeves are like something out of a fairy tale. 

Pink Never Goes Out of Style

1989 was Taylor's introduction to pop—and is still hailed as one of the best pop albums of all time—and her tour outfits from the era were iconic.

So she enlisted Roberto Cavalli to recreate her iconic 1989 World Tour outfit, complete with matching Christian Louboutin boots!

The Red T-Shirt

Taylor also brought back her most famous outfit from the Red era—although this one pays homage to her iconic song, "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

She also rocked the "A lot going on at the moment" tee that's become synonymous with her cryptic "Easter eggs."

Lavender Haze Coat

Taylor opens up her Midnights set with the Lavender Haze outfit—and my Halloween costume for the rest of time—an Oscar de la Renta crystal t-shirt paired with a purple Oscar de la Renta faux fur coat.

This is likely the comfiest outfit of her whole Tour!

Alternative Red Shirts

Perhaps the most fun addition to her new outfits are the alternative Red-era shirts that harken back to the "22" music video. 

These shirts are fun for fans to decode. One references her vault track "I Bet You Think About Me," while the other is clearly a tongue-in-cheek reference to a viral video, "This is Not Taylor's Version."

Best Believe She's Still Bejeweled

Taylor struts to several of her bops from Midnights in her now-iconic, bedazzled midnight-blue bodysuit, including "Bejeweled."

The visual graphics are stunning throughout every era, but she really amps it up during the Midnights set, as it's the finale of the 3-and-a-half-hour-long evening.

Taylor slayed her movie premiere's red carpet just like she slayed on stage— bejeweled and bedazzling in a blue strapless, embroidered floral cutout by Oscar de la Renta. 

She Can Do It With a Broken Heart!

This set is filled with Easter Eggs and satire. First, she borrows imagery from the silent film era as she reluctantly dongs her "popstar persona," which points us back to her self-referential album closer "Clara Bow." 

Second, the song itself contains super depressing lyrics but with a poppy, upbeat melody and a super relatable chorus that will be stuck in your head for days: "I'm so depressed I act like it's my birthday every day. / I cry a lot, but I am so productive, it's an art."   

Folklore Green

During her Folklore set, Taylor's all about outfits that flow with her. The Alberta Ferretti dress, with its bright green hue, delicate mesh detailing, and leaf embroidery, is one of our personal favorites. 

And it wasn't just the dress that made an impression; Taylor's entire Folklore set is a masterpiece, weaving together storytelling, striking visuals, and epic performances that keep leave everyone in awe.

Bad Blood Blue

Throughout the two-year-long Eras Tour, Taylor likes to play with all the colors of the rainbow. During her 1989 set, she switches it up each night with a different-colored, sequin two-piece Roberto Cavalli set.

Some nights she's pink, some nights she's green, others, orange, and on this night during a performance of "Bad Blood"— 1989 blue.

Taylor donned all blue for the announcement of 1989 (Taylor's Version) at the last night of her Los Angeles Eras Tour show.

The night is sparkling, and so is she, in this Nicole + Felicia gown. This has become known as the "Enchanted" dress, as it pays homage to the gold Valentino ballgown from her  Speak Now  Tour.

For her iconic Fearless set, Taylor paid homage to the original fringe dress she wore on the Fearless tour, also designed by Roberto Cavalli.

She paired the throwback look with silver knee-high Christian Louboutin boots and a bejeweled guitar.

For the highlight of her Red era, Taylor graced the stage in a dramatic, red Ashish coat over her matching romper—and her guitar was red to match too.

Her soul-stirring 10-minute rendition of "All Too Well" is a religious experience Swifties paid good money to see—drawing us all too well into the depths of her heartfelt lyrics.

The Lover Bodysuit (With a 1989 TV Twist)

Taylor is notorious for switching up everything from her music genre to her sparkly outfits.

Throughout The Eras Tour, she's shown off different variations of the Lover bodysuit—like this gold-and-blue version she wore to promote 1989 (Taylor's Version) . 

Enchanted With a Twist

Another take on the Enchanted dress; Taylor switched it up for her Speak Now set during her Tampa tour, wearing a stunning Elie Saab Haute Couture silk tulle ballgown embroidered with organza petals.

Nostalgic Black Fearless Dress

The black, silver, and gold fringe dress for the  Fearless  set was for the nostalgic Swifties and nostalgic Swifties only. 

Taylor wore a very similar version of this dress during her original  Fearless  tour, and it makes us feel a bit emotional to see her twirl around in it to the same songs over a decade later.

Folklore Meets 1989

Taylor donned another Alberta Ferretti dress—this time in blue—for the 1989 (Taylor's Version) announcement. 

"The Man" Suit and Louboutin Boots

During her Lover set, Taylor rocks a glittery Versace blazer over her bodysuit, along with a pair of knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.

Some nights the blazer is silver, some nights it's pink, and some nights it's black. You just never know what The Man is going to do next!

Acoustic Set

During her acoustic set (where she performs two surprise songs), Taylor covers her sequined Roberto Cavalli 1989 outfit and Christian Louboutin boots with this stunning yellow dress.

Sleeveless Acoustic Set Dress

Even the Surprise Songs got a makeover. The high-low flowy dress with a low neckline isn't necessarily too different from her original Surprise Song dresses, except for one key adjustment: no sleeves!

Between sets, Taylor has to change from one outfit to another within minutes, and she always seemed to get stuck in the cold-shoulder sleeves of the other dresses. Now, her arms are free!

Another Enchanted Gown

Taylor looked truly enchanted when she debuted this stunning Zuhair Murad ballgown for her Speak Now Era on night two of her tour.

The Lover Bodysuit, Blue Version

Vigilante Shh...

Ah, the famous, bedazzled Midnight bodysuit she left in with Travis Kelce on her Buenos Aires tour stop.

After she performs "Lavender Haze" in her Oscar de la Renta bedazzled t-shirt, she does a quick costume change into her Oscar de la Renta bodysuit during "Midnight Rain" to perform the now-viral "Vigilante" dance.

Sunset Orange The Man Blazer

Oops! She did it again... It's another new Blazer for "The Man," and you can never guess the color... Yeah, orange. 

This set sports the same orange-to-purple ombre that her Lover bodysuit did, and we can't help but get a bit suspicious... Is this because she's reclaiming the summer, or is she hinting to another secret album?

1989 Skirt Combos

The multiple new two-toned sets Taylor debuted on the European leg of Eras are crowd favorites. Not only are they a completely new silhouette from her previous outfits, but she's experimenting with color, too. 

Swifties love these sets, especially the circle skirt, because it harkens back to her original 1989 tour. However, the boots she chose are also two-toned, and not everyone loves the mismatched aesthetic from head to toe.

Enchanted With a 1989 Twist

Staying on theme with the night's 1989 (Taylor's Version) announcement, Taylor switched up her usual purple Enchanted gown for a blue Nicole + Felicia one.

And of course, she had a matching blue guitar to complete the ensemble.

Fans have come to associate the flowy dresses with the whimsy of the Folklore and Evermore eras, but the singer switched up the color to mark the special occasion.

Yellow Folkmore Dress

One of the biggest changes to the Eras set was a long time coming: combining Folklore and Evermore into one combined "sister" set. Don't get us wrong, we love those albums, but they definitely didn't need separate 30-minute slots. 

With that being said, she combined the two flowy dress styles for "Folkmore," making sure to keep the ethereal applique from Evermore and the billowing sleeves from Folklore.

Along with the combined Folkmore dresses, the sets have been combined, too! We're not going to lie, this might be the best set design for the entire show, and that's saying something!

Taylor clearly planned to combine Folkmore from the beginning because the Folklore cabin surrounded by the sparkling Evermore forest is simply magical!

Pink vs. Red Folkmore Dress

Another of the Folkmore dresses has inspired a healthy debate between Swifties around the world: is it pink or red?

Countless sites have deemed it pink, but it's such a rich, deep shade that it's barely in the same arena as the Barbie pink L over  set. What do you think? Let us know in the comments. 

Leafy Enchanted Dress

While we'll never forgive her for cutting "Long Live" from the Eras Tour, we can nurse our wounds with the newest "Enchanted" dress. 

The lilac seems to be a staple for her this summer, as she shared a snap of herself wearing Popflex's lilac pirouette skirt for the Fortnight Challenge, which is even mentioned in the TTPD Anthology song "imgonnagetyouback."

Taylor is famous for her relationship with her fans. And in true Taylor fashion, she stopped to take selfies with fans when hitting the red carpet for her movie premiere.

Don't Blame Her (For Not Including This Outfit)

This is one outfit we missed at her Eras Tour. The singer wore the dramatic gown to perform "Don't Blame Me" and "King of My Heart" on her 2018 Reputation Tour.

(Neither of those songs made the cut on the Eras Tour).

Getaway Car

This is another look we missed during the Eras Tour. The singer wore the sequin dress and black blazer to perform her iconic hit "Getaway Car" at the 2018 Reputation Tour.

The song didn't make the cut for the Eras Tour, and Netflix removed the Reputation tour from its platform. But our memories of this performance will live on!

Reputation Goth

While the theme of the Eras Tour was bright and sparkly, understandably, we really missed some of the grit of the Reputation tour.

The only costume that made it to Eras was the famous Reputation bodysuit, which we love—but we're also still in awe of the mostly black wardrobe from the Rep tour.

Rep Rainbow Fringe

We also can't believe Taylor didn't pay homage to any of the rainbow fringe dresses she rocked on stage during the Reputation tour.

The colors would've fit in perfectly with the Eras Tour theme, but with all the costume changes we can't complain. Mother keeps us fed!

On the promo circuit, Taylor Swift is deep in her gothic Tortured Poets Department fashion era. Behind the scenes, she's practicing for the next leg of her Eras Tour in the down-to-earth activewear my workout routine is missing.

Swift shared a YouTube short filled with clips from rehearsals for the next leg of her record-shattering tour on Thursday, April 25. In addition to glimpses at updated choreography and, potentially, new songs on the setlist, Swift showed a workout wardrobe packed with under-$100 finds. One clip shows her practicing in Nike sneakers and Free People joggers; in another, she twirls through her routine in a PopFlex skort set that's gone viral.

While I'm not on a grueling workout schedule like the world's biggest pop star, I can imagine these pieces becoming personal heroes for runs, walks, and yoga sessions. Ahead, I've broken down three outfits featured in the snippet of Swift's Eras Tour practice sessions. Leave the sleuthing for setlist updates to the other fans. Here, there are just IDs on activewear with thousands of five-star reviews (including Swift's, apparently).

Any Swiftie can tell you that their fearless leader loves Free People: She's consistently worn FP T-shirts, dresses, and sweaters in her street style over the years, including on trips to the studio to record The Tortured Poets Department . Now, we know she also prepares for the stage in her FP gear. One of the first clips in her rehearsal outfit montage show Swift in a casual pair of Free People joggers, layered with a tank top and a supportive sports bra. On her feet, she swaps her onstage custom Louboutins for a pair of Nike sneakers .

For those of us who aren't practicing for a three-and-a-half-hour performance, it's exactly the sort of low-key look that can work for yoga, breathwork, or a long walk. Forme's high-performance bra is also a cult-favorite, with more than 1,700 five-star reviews praising its failsafe support and comfortable-yet-strong fabric.

Taylor Swift lets her affinity for accessible brands shine during rehearsals, wearing Free People joggers and Nike sneakers.

In her first round of promo for "Fortnight," The Tortured Poets Department 's lead single, Swift shared a clip playing pickleball and wearing PopFlex's flouncy Pirouette skort . She brought the piece back with a matching, corseted sports bra for rehearsals in Thursday's video. The skort combines a coquette tiered skirt with flexible, breathable undershorts—and Swift's stamp of approval has caused orders to spike 600 percent, according to a rep for the brand. For a segment of rehearsal that appeared to reference The Tortured Poets Department , Swift practiced in a PopFlex sports bra and coordinating skort.

For segments of rehearsal that appear to feature new choreography (fans haven't seen those canes and hats before!), Swift dresses in a crewneck sweatshirt of unknown provenance and a black skort. The second piece is once again from PopFlex, proving that even newly-minted billionaires appreciate an under-$100 find.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are looking chic in crochet!

In the early hours of Monday, June 24, Swift and Kelce , both 34, wore similar style outfits as they were pictured leaving London hotspot the Chiltern Firehouse around 4 a.m. local time .

The "Love Story" hitmaker opted for an eye-catching ensemble to mark the celebrations following her third London gig at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 23. 

For the outing, Swift wore a colorful striped crochet minidress with bell sleeves, which she teamed with a pair of butter yellow chunky open-toe heels.

The musician wore her hair in loose waves and added her trademark bright red lipstick to add even more color to the look.

Meanwhile, Kelce went for a more low-key outfit, sticking with the crochet theme but opting for a matching cream trousers and shirt set. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end completed the look with a bright blue Louis Vuitton bucket hat.

Swift and Kelce, who first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 before confirming their romance the following month, held hands as they left the popular eatery.

Sunday's gig marked Swift's final Wembley Stadium show for now, but she'll return to play five shows at the venue starting Aug. 15.

During her latest gig, Swift had a very special guest on stage with her, as Kelce made an appearance dressed in a tuxedo and top hat.

The NFL star joined Swift for her "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" outfit change — which is something that was added following the release of her latest studio album, The Tortured Poets Department , on April 19.

Kelce stepped in for the dancer who typically carries the Grammy winner on stage during the segment, beaming as he gently put the singer down on a red couch in the middle of the stage.

The athlete did Swift's faux touch-up during the segment, dusting his girlfriend's face with powder as the crowd cheered.

Kelce was also in attendance at Swift's other London shows and was seen singing along to her 2019 track "Lover" from the album of the same name in a sweet clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).

On Friday, June 21, Kelce beamed as he sang along to the lyrics, pointing at himself and Swift with a huge smile on his face.

That wasn't the only cute moment that night, with Swift also giving Kelce a special shoutout while singing "So High School" from her latest album in a clip shared on X .

During the performance, Swift used an invisible bow to release an arrow, which is a move that Kelce is known for during Chiefs games.

For two consecutive nights, the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker surprised her fans at Wembley Stadium with special renditions of her beloved hits, but Sunday night was the ultimate jaw-dropper. Over 80,000 fans watched in awe as Kelce, dressed in a sleek black tuxedo and top hat to blend in with Swift's other dancers, swept his girlfriend onto the stage.

The Grammy winner stunned in a long white coat with intricate black detailing at the shoulders. She accessorized with a sparkling black beaded statement necklace. Underneath her coat, Swift flaunted her fit physique in a sparkling, low-cut white bra top paired with high-waisted, v-shaped bottoms, and white heeled booties.

As for her glam, the "Cruel Summer" songwriter wore her signature blonde tresses and wispy bangs down and styled straight. For her makeup look, she sported her trademark red lipstick, winged eyeliner, ample blush and voluminous lashes combo.

Just before stepping off the stage to let Swift take the spotlight with her hit "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," Kelce fanned himself as she stripped of her coat and also mimed putting makeup on his Lover 's face, with a beaming smile.

Swift, embracing the role of a lifeless doll, humorously acted like she was completely over it. She then appeared to blow him a kiss. Swifties, who've charmingly coined the couple (who have been linked since September of 2023), "Tayvis," flocked to TikTok to share their thrill about the duo's spontaneous public outing at the event.

After one fan shared footage of the onstage moment to the social media site, one user commented beneath the above post: "LIFTING HIS GIRL UP (LITERALLY & FIGURATIVELY)" as another replied: "Travis being part of the Eras Tour was NOT on my bingo card!" Someone else noted: "And to think this time a year ago he was making bracelets for the KC show... Now he's IN IT!!! As a Kansas Citian and Swiftie, my heart is exploding!"

One other Swiftie pointed out: "Every time I watch this I find another thing to absolutely love about it!! This time it was the heel click at the beginning before picking her up. I love his animation it’s so perfect."      

This moment (which many fans thought proved Swift really is Mastermind ) came just after she and her beau hit a major milestone in their relationship by going Instagram official. The day after the concert, Swift delighted her fans by sharing a collection of photos on social media.

The snapshots featured her on stage with Kelce, Paramore's frontwoman Hayley Williams , and singer Gracie Abrams . The "Lavender Haze" songstress also included a few solo shots that perfectly captured her stage presence. In her caption, Swift wrote that she was "still cracking up" and "swooning" over Kelce's "Eras Tour debut."

She also thanked her British fans for their support and noted that she'll be back to play in the city in August. Up next, she noted, she'll be taking the Eras Tour to Dublin.

Taylor Swift’s Sweetest ‘22’ Hat Moments From ‘The Eras Tour’: From Paris to Madrid

Taylor Swift ’s “22” hat moments have been a trademark throughout her Eras Tour .

During Swift’s record-breaking tour , which kicked off in March 2023, fans have experienced plenty of unforgettable moments, from sharing friendship bracelets to seeing Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce , take the stage . Some of the most magical interactions, however, come during Swift’s Red set when she selects one lucky fan to receive the black hat she wears with her costume.

One such moment involved ​​9-year-old Julissa Vargas, who told NBC San Diego in May that she thought she was being led “to the exit” before stopping “in front of the stage” during an Eras Tour show in Paris.

“And then I finally realized what was happening,” Julissa recalled. “I could only hear the part where [Taylor] says, ‘Can I give you a hug?’ and she also said, ‘Thank you for coming.’”

Showing off her once-in-a-lifetime souvenir, Julissa gushed, “This is the hat she gave me, and it’s signed inside.”

During a show in Sydney, Swift gifted the coveted “22” hat to Scarlett Oliver, a 9-year-old fan battling cancer. Scarlett’s stepmother, Natalie , had previously shared Scarlett’s wish to meet the superstar.

“Scarlett is a 9-year-old from Perth, and she was diagnosed in October last year with a high grade glioma — this is a very aggressive brain cancer with no cure,” she wrote on a Swift fan site ahead of the concert.

Natalie, who revealed that Scarlett was given a prognosis of “12-18 months from diagnosis,” added that “Scarlett is so excited and would absolutely love to receive the 22 hat from Taylor (as would everyone else I’m sure).”

When the “Love Story” singer approached the girl in Sydney during the performance, Scarlett overflowed with joy as they embraced.

When Swift kicked off the European leg of her Eras Tour at París La Défense Arena, ​​Julissa stole the show for a moment when receiving the “22” hat at the edge of the stage.

“It was, I don’t know, it was one of the best moments of my life,” Julissa told NBC San Diego the following week. “ And she gave me a high-five with her two hands.”

A little girl at Principality Stadium in Wales proved to be the lucky one when she was caught wearing the same shirt as Swift during the Red set, which rotates each night. Both Swift and the young fan had the words “Not a Lot Going on at the Moment” on their T-shirts.

Swift, who at first didn’t realize they were matching, pulled at her own shirt to acknowledge the coincidence, prompting cheers from the audience. She then gave the girl multiple high fives before resuming her song.

A year of the Eras Tour: A look back at Taylor Swift's record-breaking show

One year ago, the crowd in Glendale, Arizona, erupted into a massive cheer in State Farm Stadium when Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" began playing and the backdrop screen transitioned to a countdown clock starting at 2:24.

None of the Swifties who traveled from all over the state of Arizona and the nation, dressed to the nines as one of her 10 eras, knew the tour would be three-plus hours. The fan screaming next to me from Pennsylvania who bought a ticket on StubHub.com for about $400 didn't know that we would go era-by-era through a 44-song track list. I don't think the singer, herself, knew when she hid inside a cleaning cart wheeled backstage, that her show would lead to a billion-dollar enterprise, Time magazine person of the year and an inundation of friendship bracelets. I didn't know the behemoth success following the Eras Tour star would send me packing from Phoenix to Nashville, Tennessee, to become the inaugural Taylor Swift reporter.

Swift's dancers flowed onto the stage through fog with pink, purple and orange parachute flaps. A compilation of songs from Swift's 10 albums — or eras — played as "it's been a long time coming" boomed into the stadium. Goosebumps covered the arms of thousands and tears cascaded down cheeks as the flaps revealed Miss Americana rising to begin her "Lover" set.

Eighty three shows later, here's a look back at the unprecedented tour that set a Guinness World Record . And fair warning, like her tour this article is an extensive rollercoaster.

Swept up in the hype, the world became Taylor Nation. Glendale, "Erazona ," was renamed "Swift City." Las Vegas lit up its arches in all 10 era colors. Arlington, Texas, dubbed one of its streets "Taylor Swift Way." Tampa, Florida, gave Swift a key to the city and invited her to be an honorary mayor. Houston renamed its venue "NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version)."

Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated a bench in Centennial Park to the hometown singer. A Philadelphia radio station, 96.5 FM (WTDY), renamed itself Ninety-Swift-Five W-T-A-Y. Gov. Philip D. Murphy dubbed the "Taylor Swift ham, egg and cheese sandwich" the "state sandwich of New Jersey." Chicago lit up the top of Willis Tower in her album colors. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey renamed his city "Swiftie-apolis," and Santa Clara, California, Mayor Lisa Gillmor switched the city's name to "Swiftie Clara."

Internationally, fans in Brazil caught the attention of Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes and Father Omar, the rector of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary, who arranged to project a  "Junior Jewels" inspired T-shirt  onto the Christ the Redeemer statue. Flinders Station in Melbourne , Australia, flashed a wallpaper glaze of lights to welcome the Eras star. Singapore painted the Marina Bay Sands Resort all colors of vibrant lights.

It's a cruel summer with you

All four seasons met the fifteen dancers, four backup singers, six bandmates and hundreds of production and crew members, adding unpredictable weather to the mix. Mother Nature danced in a lightning storm to "Fearless" in Tampa and made the song "Midnight Rain" a reality in Nashville . Rain poured through the open-roofed stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where Swift pushed puddles forming on her piano . The Swiftie fandom created its own natural phenomenon in Seattle after a seismologist registered a 2.3 magnitude earthquake on her Richter scale.

The intense heat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, caused Swift to throw water bottles to fans and temporarily halt her show. Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed out and died of heat exhaustion. The heartbreaking news prompted changes at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos to allow fans access to water. Swift invited Benevides' family to her concert in São Paulo.

I want you to think of the memories made

Swift incorporated custom messages into each tour stop. At her international destinations, she welcomed fans in their custom languages. "Bienvenidos al Eras Tour," she said in Mexico City before hoisting her hands in the air. While donning either her pink or blue guitar before the title track of "Lover," she commonly announced the stadium attendance often record-breaking.

Outside of stadiums, thousands "Taylorgated," or showed up without a ticket to hear Swift's beats and dance on the concrete. Tens of thousands more logged on to watch livestreams from fans with tickets who agreed to spend concert time holding up their mobile devices in a tricep-burning position.

The number of viewers would jump before the "Champagne Problems" speech and acoustic set. To keep things fun and interesting each night, fans filled out "Swiftball" ballots guessing the singer's outfits from four "Lover" bodysuits and accompanying "The Man" jackets, three "Fearless" dresses, two "Evermore" dresses, six "Speak Now" gowns, three bedazzled "22" shirts, five "Folkore" dresses, four "1989" crop top and skirt combos, six "Midnights" T-shirt dresses, three "Midnight Rain" body suits and four "Karma" faux fur jackets. Double clap, audience chants

A secret language formed between fans and Swift as new traditions popped up along the tour. The four lines fans screamed at the top of their lungs, no matter the city or country, were "cause shade never made anybody less gay" in "You Need To Calm Down," "what a shame she's f----d in the head" in "Champagne Problems," "f--- the patriarchy" in "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" and "don't call me kid, don't call me baby" in "Illicit Affairs."

Swift started every show strong with a very important question: Did her fans know the bridge to "Cruel Summer?" "Prove it!" she'd yell at some stops and the audience would, every single time, bellow, "I'm drunk in the back of the car." For "The Archer," fans printed and dispersed signs that read, "We will stay," to hold up when Swift asks, "Who would stay?"

In the "Fearless" era, fans double clapped with "13" drawn on the back of their hands in the middle of the bridge to "You Belong With Me." A trend of marriage proposals during "Love Story" picked up during the 2024 leg with partners popping the question as Swift sang, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring."

During "Marjorie," Swifties turned their phone flashlights on in tribute to Swift's grandma. Fans started timing the standing ovation and ear-shattering applause after "Champagne Problems." Livestreamers, like Tess Bohne , would display a clock and fans guessed if the cheers would surpass one, two or three minutes.

A snake shape slithered through the light-up braceklets handed out before the show at the start of the "Reputation" era. Fans yelled "1, 2, 3, let's go b----" before the first verse of "Delicate" as Swift counts on her fingers. Later in the song, Swift sings, "Do the girls back home touch you like I do?" and fans reply, "No, they don't." On rare occasion, Swift would let out a three-note riff during her "Don't Blame Me" belt.

After rereleasing her third album, the "Speak Now" singer added "Long Live" to the set list, bringing the total to 45 tracks. In the first verse when she croons "the crowds and stands went wild," the crowd indeed went wild.

In the "Red" era, Swift crowned a deserving fan with a black fedora during "22." They were typically children, but one adult Swiftie was crowned in Melbourne . Dancer Kameron Saunders had the only speaking line on the tour besides Swift during her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." He said "like ever" at the American shows, but when the tour went international, he switched up the phrase each night. And yes, we track that. Swift knew all too well each crowd had "10 minutes to spare," and she played her longest song, in total, for about 14 hours.

She was only tied to the "Invisible String" for five shows and traded the opening "Folklore" era number to "The 1" in Arlington, before news of her split from actor Joe Alwyn . She brought "Invisible String" back for one night in Nashville because the Tennessee capital is home to Centennial Park. Nashvillians also noticed that Swift switched a note during "The 1" lyric "you meet a woman on the internet and take her home." She kept the key change for every succeeding show.

Right before the first lyric of "Style" during the "1989" set, fans began a tradition of saying, "What time is it?" to which the singer replied, "Midnight, you come and pick me up." In Sydney, Australia, a "Blank Space" chant from the 1989 World Tour was reborn and repeated in Singapore. Taylor Nation, Swift's marketing team, tweeted that it hopes fans at every tour stop going forward shout their city. In Philadelphia, a "Bad Blood" remix originated when Swift noticed a security guard hassling a fan . "She's fine. She wasn't doing anything. Hey! Stop! Hey, stop!" became the cool thing to say after, "It's so sad to think about the good times, you and I." Fans also incorporated a Kendrick Lamar line from the "Bad Blood" remix: "You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go."

And then came the surprise set . (More on her collaborators and announcements below.) Each night, Swift performed one song on the guitar and one on the piano that she hadn't yet performed on the tour. That is until 2024, when she added mashups and threw out her rule of never repeating songs. At the end of the set, she swan dives into a hole in the stage. Fans later caught a red light that turned green to signal it was safe to jump.

After meeting her at "Midnights," fans sang Jack Antonoff's version of "Anti-Hero." When Swift sings "tale as old as time," the crowd chimes in, "Taylor, you'll be fine." Tyler Conroy made a viral video of him screaming , "Where you going Taylor?" during "Bejeweled" before she sings, "I'm going out tonight," and the trend caught on like a blaze ripping through the Lover house. Finally, after Swift changed the lyrics to, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," in Argentina with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the crowd, that became the standard for fans. She has only sang it that way four times, when he was in attendance in Buenos Aires, Sydney and Singapore.

If you would direct your attention to the back screen

In addition to boosting economies everywhere she went, Swift created an abundance of news. She announced "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" in Nashville. She announced a new version of "Midnights" and premiered the "Karma (Remix)" music video featuring Ice Spice as the upstart rapper joined Swift in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" right before her Kansas City, Missouri, stop and then debuted the "I Can See You" music video starring Taylor Lautner and Joey King who were at the show. Lautner backflipped on the catwalk.

It might have seemed strange that Swift ended the American leg of her tour on a Wednesday in Los Angeles, but not to the eagle-eyed Swiftie who realized the date was 8/9. That's the day she announced the rerecording of her fifth album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)." The album came out during her break before her Argentina tour dates. It topped the Billboard charts and allowed her to bypass Elvis for the most weeks with an album at No. 1.

Then, she announced her 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," at the Grammys after winning her 13th career award. At her tour stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, she revealed there were four total versions of "Tortured Poets" and told fans they would get a different bonus track on each one : "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," "The Albatross" and "The Black Dog."

Welcome to the acoustic set

One of the most anticipated portions of an Eras Tour show is the acoustic set. At most of the concerts, she only spoke before the guitar song. In rare instances, she tested the microphone before the piano song and made an announcement.

Occasionally she invited collaborators to join her onstage. Marcus Mumford surprised fans in Las Vegas to play "Cowboy Like Me." Her co-producer and close friend Aaron Dessner from The National joined her six times on stage, in Tampa (twice), Nashville, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Santa Clara. Jack Antonoff came out to play "Getaway Car" in New Jersey. Maren Morris did a "You All Over Me" duet in Chicago. When their opening acts were canceled for weather, Gracie Abrams performed "I Miss You, I'm Sorry" and Sabrina Carpenter sang a dyad mashup of "White Horse" and "Coney Island."

Some of the surprise songs came with hidden messages. Fans speculated she sang "Bigger Than The Whole Sky" as an ode to a fan who died , "End Game" to Travis Kelce watching her show from the VIP tent and "Gold Rush" as a congratulations to Jason Kelce for retiring. She has performed "You're On Your Own Kid" five times, in Tampa, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Tokyo and Singapore.

And he never thinks of me, except when I'm on TV

To close out the first year of the Eras Tour, Swift released the third film version of her concert to streaming service Disney+. This version included "Cardigan" and four acoustic songs: "Maroon," "Death By A Thousand Cuts," "You Are In Love" and "I Can See You."

The second version came out on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13. Fans could rent it for 48 hours at a price of $19.89, and it included "The Archer," "Wildest Dreams" and "Long Live" cut from the original movie.

The original movie was released Oct. 13, in the middle of the Hollywood strikes. Swift did what studios and streaming services were unable to: make a deal with SAG-AFTRA. She worked with the unions and was able to market and show her movie how she saw fit. The film made more than $250 million globally and got her nominated for a Golden Globe award .

If you're still with me on this walk down Eras Tour Lane, it's important to make one final note before the tour resumes in Paris in May. Before her magnum opus took off higher than the "Bad Blood" flames, Swift chose "Mirrorball" and "Tim McGraw" to be her very first surprise songs. She ended year one with the same two songs, but flipped the instruments she played them on in a full-circle moment.

Her new album will come out April 19 and the full Eras Tour is streaming on Disney+, which begs the question: What her show will look like come Paris? She has a two-month break before 69 shows scheduled for Europe and North America. She also has two rerecords left to release: "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" and her self-titled debut album.

If there's one thing any Swiftie knows, it's Taylor Swift's ability to make news and create lasting memories through her record-shattering tour. What a first year; on to year two!

Even Taylor Swift can’t get over boyfriend Travis Kelce’s surprise Eras Tour performance Sunday.

“I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut 🥰 Never going to forget these shows,” the singer, 34, captioned various photos and videos from “round one” at Wembley Stadium in London.

She went on to gush that her three shows in the UK were “so surreal.”

“Looking out into crowds of 90,000 fans each night and hearing that VOLUME… Those were some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard. Acoustic sections went OFF.”

Swift noted she “got to sing ‘Castles Crumbling’ with @yelyahwilliams for the first time” and that her “heart was just so full of love for her and [their] friendship.”

“Then the impossibly gifted and wonderful @gracieabrams came and surprised the crowd with the first performance of our song ‘us,'” she added, going on to say that she “can’t wait to do it 5 more times in August. Up next: Dublin!! 🇮🇪.”

During her third concert at Wembley Stadium, the songstress brought the NFL star onstage while performing a skit for the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” transition.

The audience erupted in cheers when they saw Kelce, also 34, approach his girlfriend and pick her up from a pretend faint.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who wore a black suit with a matching top hat for the sketch, seemingly whispered something to Swift as she dangled from his arms while donning a long white dress.

Kelce then carried her to a red couch at the center of the stage before setting her down and fanning her alongside two backup dancers.

Eventually, the Grammy winner popped up and took off her gown,  revealing a white sparkling bralette and high-waisted bottoms .

The football player fanned himself with his hands while motioning Swift to perform her hit song from her “The Tortured Poets Department” album.

While the pop star managed to stay in character for the act, Kelce couldn’t wipe the smile from his face.

The athlete supported Swift at all three of her London shows and was spotted alongside her parents, Andrea Swift and Scott Swift, earlier in the evening.

The trio sat in the VIP section of the arena alongside Sophie Turner, Paul McCartney and other A-listers.

After Kelce joined Swift onstage, fans became convinced that her new ring featuring a duo of diamond-dotted Ts was “deffo an Easter egg for the TTPD set.”

Following the concert, the couple enjoyed a date night at Chiltern Firehouse, after which photographers caught them holding hands as they left the hotel early Monday morning.

On Friday, Kelce  attended Swift’s show with his brother , Jason Kelce, and even  ran into Prince William  and the royal’s  three kids .
