Nach „Let’s Dance“ ist vor der „Let’s Dance“-Tour! Nur wenige Monate nachdem der „Dancing Star 2023“ gefunden wurde, kommt die einzigartige Tanzfamilie wieder zusammen und tourt zum vierten Mal quer durch Deutschland. It is Germany's best-known and most successful dance show and thrills millions of fans in front of their TV screens year after year. With 16 seasons so far, "Let's Dance" is already a real long-running hit on TV, but for some years now the show has also been going on live tour. With the well-known judges, numerous professionals and celebrities, "Let's Dance" will come to the Olympic Hall on 11 and 12 November 2023.

It was 2004 when the first season of "Strictly Come Dancing" on the BBC sparked a veritable dance fever in the UK - and kicked off a decades-long success story. Two years later, the wave spilled over to Germany. At the premiere of "Let's Dance" in spring 2006, Hape Kerkeling and Nazan Eckes were in front of the camera as the presenters. Katarina Witt was also on the jury, and the overall winner after eight episodes was Wayne Carpendale.

With the protagonists known from the RTL format, "Let's Dance" then went on live tour for the first time in 2019 - and caused storms of enthusiasm in German halls and arenas with its spectacular stage production and the breathtaking dance performance of the professionals and celebrities. The show is now on the road again in autumn 2023. With the judges Motsi Mabuse, Joachim Llambi and Jorge González, with presenter Daniel Hartwich as well as numerous professionals and celebrities, it is all about passion and perfection, about great talent and many magical moments when the participants dance for the overall victory on 11 and 12 November in the Olympic Hall. Germany’s favorite dance show delights millions of fans again. The show has a history of 47 professional dancers, 126 celebrities, and more than 5000 stage outfits. Presented by Daniel Hartwich the show is an adaption of BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” which first aired in 2004 on British TV.

RTL Let's Dance Live Tour 2023

“Being part of a dance show like this is like traveling through the universe at the speed of light with your head sticking out of the spaceship.” – Dimitar Stefanin

Bigger, more captivating and more spectacular than ever before – that’s the motto of the Let’s Dance Live Tour 2023. From October to December, Dimitar went on tour with Europe’s most successful show program. The reigning Dancing Star took part in this masterful show program for the second time. The enchanting show was presented in 20 cities throughout Germany. A total of 150,000 spectators attended and a 150-strong crew provided an unforgettable spectacle.

Similar to the TV RTL format Let’s Dance, the show lasted 2 hours and featured numerous group and solo dances. Since 2006, celebrities from television, film, sport and entertainment have taken to the dance floor of the TV show stage alongside professional dancers. A jury, also made up of well-known personalities, then judged the performances.

The show was divided into 2 acts: In the first act, Dimitar and his colleagues presented the following dances: – “Showbusiness” – the colorful opening of the live tour with tap dance, live music, musical choreography and fireworks. ”Blood on the Dancefloor” – The spooky story of a girl who wakes up in her bed at midnight and is attacked by zombies – a thrilling Halloween scenario. The true Hollywood horror experience. “Thanks for the flowers” – a cheesy summer story about a flower seller who meets the love of his life. A real Hollywood La La Land romantic fairytale.

Stefanin continued to impress in the second act: “Flamenco Passion” – Caliente, Fuego and typical Spanish vibes are hidden under the largest skirt ever created (9 m in diameter). A dance scene in which real bullfighters demonstrate their dancing skills. Not even Step Up had a dance battle like this. “LOVESTORY” – A marriage proposal full of inspiration for every couple out there. The ultimate wedding dance for all young families. Every time Dimitar presented the dance, tears were streaming down his face (everyone knows he is very emotional). “Men in Black” – An out-of-this-world story about a group of agents who protect their boss while he gets caught up in a flirtatious dance scene with the Aphrodite of his life.

From ordinary members to celebrities or professionals, everyone dances together on the dance floor. Yes, you heard right, Dimitar Stefanin has always claimed that dancing brings people together and strengthens their cohesion. Here’s a fun fact – a BBC producer once said: “Dimitar, the leather pants and plaid shirt look perfect on you, but those are definitely the hairiest legs the production has ever seen :)” Similar to Dancing Stars, it is fair to say that Dimitar has learned a lot from an incredibly intense, impressive and captivating live tour and has incorporated it into his show repertoire. And last but not least, the friendships made in such a short time will stay with Stefanin for the rest of his life.

RTL ging am 23. Februar um 20.15 Uhr mit "Let's Dance" 2024 an den Start - es ist bereits die 17. Staffel. In der Tanzshow kämpfen 14 prominente Promi- Kandidaten und Kandidatinnen als Teilnehmer um den Titel "Dancing Star 2024". Sie wollen versuchen, die unbestechliche Jury aus Motsi Mabuse, Jorge Gonzalez und Joachim Llambi und von ihren Tanztalenten zu überzeugen. "Let's Dance" 2024: Wer ist raus? Diese Kandidatin erhielt die wenigsten Zuschauerstimmen

Bei "Let's Dance" wird es traditionell erst in der zweiten Sendung der Staffel ernst, nachdem zum Auftakt erst einmal die Promis und Profis verpaart werden. Dieses Jahr gibt es eine Änderung: Malika Dzumaev und Zsolt Sándor Cseke erhalten beide einen Bonus-Juryranking-Punkt, da sie die letzte Profi-Challenge gewonnen haben. Wenn sie befürchten, dass es für sie und ihren jeweiligen Promi eng werden könnte, können sie den Punkt einsetzen und so ein vorzeitiges Aus abwenden.

"Let's Dance": Der Ablauf von Staffel 17

"Let's Dance" läuft nun bis zum voraussichtlichen Finale am 24. Mai durchgehend jeden Freitagabend. Nur am 29. März, also an Karfreitag, hatte die Sendung einmal ausgesetzt. Da nämlich wurde, wie jedes Jahr, das geltende Tanzverbot beachtet. Am 31. Mai folgt die Profi-Challenge, die ohne die Promis über die Bühne geht.

Die Jury bleibt 2024 unverändert. 2023 band RTL Joachim Llambi, Motsi Mabuse und Jorge González mit neuen Verträgen an sich. "Wir haben letztes Jahr den laufenden Vertrag vorzeitig um gleich mehrere Jahre verlängert, ich denke, das dürfen wir ruhig verraten", offenbarte González in einem Interview.

Mit Blick auf den Cast kristallisierte sich zunächst kein absoluter Favorit heraus. "Wir haben auf der einen Seite 'leider' keine Anna Ermakova – im Moment – dabei. Wer weiß, was sich entwickelt" , lautete Joachim Llambis Fazit nach der Kennenlern-Show. Die Becker-Tochter hatte das Format im vergangenen Jahr von Beginn an dominiert.

"Let's Dance" Show 1: Dieser Promi ist raus

Am 1. März musste Maria Clara Groppler "Let's Dance" verlassen. Von der Jury hatte es zuvor zehn Punkte für die Bühnen-Performance gegeben. Zusammen mit ihrem Tanzpartner Mikael Tatarkin hatte sie einen Cha Cha Cha zum Song "How Will I Know" dargeboten. Daneben wackelte Tillman Schulz, als die Auflösung verkündet wurde.

"Let's Dance" Show 2: Nächster Star muss die Sendung verlassen

Am 8. März wurde Tillman Schulz aus der Show gewählt. Von der Jury erhielt er zuvor für seine Leistung auf dem Tanzparkett sieben Punkte. Gemeinsam mit Tanzprofi Patricija Ionel zeigte er eine Rumba zum Lied "You". Neben ihm wackelten Eva Padberg und Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, als es um die finale Entscheidung ging.

"Let's Dance" Show 3: Dieser Star ist nicht mehr dabei

Am 15. März mussten Eva Padberg und Paul Lorenz als drittes Paar "Let's Dance" 2024 verlassen. Mit einem Quickstep zu "The Singer" von Liza Minelli konnten sie die Jury nicht überzeugen. Für zwölf Punkte reichte es. Stefano Zarrella und Mariia Maksina kamen mit zehn Punkten bei der Jury zwar etwas schlechter an. Am Ende gab aber das Zuschauer-Voting den Ausschlag.

"Let's Dance" Show 4: Weiterer Promi verlässt die Show

Am 22. März kam es zu einem äußerst überraschenden Exit: Zsolt Sándor Cseke und Lina Larissa Strahl wurden aus der Sendung gewählt. Dabei hatten sie für ihren Cha-Cha-Cha noch 16 Punkte seitens der Jury erhalten. Besonders bitter: Seinen Bonuspunkt aus der Profi-Challenge hatte Zsolt in der Vorwoche gesetzt, obwohl er ihn zu jenem Zeitpunkt gar nicht gebraucht hätte.

"Let's Dance" Show 5: Nächster Promi muss gehen

Am 5. April musste das Paar Stefano Zarrella und Mariia Maksina die Show verlassen. Dabei hatten sie von der Jury immerhin 19 Punkte erhalten und damit satte drei mehr als die Letztplatzierten Ann-Kathrin Bendixen und Valentin Lusin. Allerdings gab das Publikums-Voting den Ausschlag. In einer insgesamt starken Ausgabe wackelten zudem Sophia Thiel und Alexandru Ionel.

"Let's Dance" Show 6: Dieser Star erhielt die wenigsten Anrufe

Am 12. April fand bei "Let's Dance" der Partnertausch statt. Wie schon im Vorjahr bedeutete das, dass kein Promi die Show verlassen musste. Allerdings verkündete Victoria Swarovski gleich zu Beginn eine Änderung: Denn die Zuschauer:innen-Stimmen sind auch noch in der kommenden Woche gültig. Am Ende erfuhren die Fans trotzdem, welcher Star die wenigsten Punkte bekommen hatte. In dieser Woche hatten Lulu und ihr Tausch-Tanzpartner Alexandru Ionel die wenigsten Anrufe auf sich vereinen können. Den Bonuspunkt erkämpfte sich Mark Keller.

The Cathedral of Christ the Savior was first built in 1883 in memory of Russia’s victory over Napoleon’s Grand Army. Then in 1931 Stalin ordered its destruction. It was then rebuilt again (identically) only in 2000.

The old Krasny Oktyabr factory: one of the coolest things to do in Moscow

If you cross the Moskva River by a pedestrian bridge which is located just in front of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the city and at the same time you can discover Balchug Island. Furthermore, if you want to visit Moscow in 2 days, you can include this island in your itinerary between the cathedral and Gorky park. Here is the old confectionery factory Krasny Oktyabr, which has gradually turned into a fashionable micro-district. There are then some elements of street art, cafes and restaurants and some Moscow bohemian side. At the end of the island you can see a gigantic 98-meter-high monument dedicated to the Russian reforming tsar Pierre The Great.

Good to know! You can find on this island are the trendiest nightclubs in Moscow. On weekends, there are taxi caps after midnight so there are so many people. On the other hand, if you go there in winter and during the day, the island is quite empty and less interesting to see.

Gorky Park is one of the TOP places to visit in Moscow, because it allows you to better understand the life of the locals and their rhythm. In fact, it’s a huge entertainment park. For example, in winter there is a giant ice rink and in summer – free dance or yoga lessons, sandy beaches for playing volleyball, an outdoor cinema. So, like the locals, have a Stakantchik (ice cream or cooked corn), and enjoy the atmosphere of the place: that’s one of the interesting things to do in Moscow to discover the city.

Sparrow Hill and Moscow State University

The Sparrow Hill, Vorobiovy Gori in Russian, is the highest point in Moscow. It is rather known to Russians, but less to travelers. A nice view on Moscow opens from the hill, and in particular on the Luzhniki Stadium. In addition, on the hill itself is the Moscow State University: an impressive skyscraper from the Soviet era.

• How to get there? By bus T7 (35 min) from Oktyaborskaya station, near Gorki Park. By metro (Vorobiovy Gorki station) + climb the hill on foot. On foot along the Moskva along the Gorky Park (1h30) + climb in funiculars.

The explanations of the museum are very well done. We really have the feeling of going back in time. It’s a nice neighborhood in Moscow where you can come across rather affluent locals, but not necessarily very bling-bling. Take a walk in this area is really a cool thing to do in Moscow! If you want to visit Moscow in 3 days, you will already see a lot of things. On the other hand, if you stay one more day, you have plenty to do! The Novodevichy Convent, the Tchistie Proudy district and the Izmaylovo Kremlin are very good candidates for you, if you are going to visit Moscow in 4 days.

Visiting Novodevichy Convent in Moscow

The Novodevichy Convent is one of the most brilliant examples of Russian architecture, according to UNESCO. This beautiful complex was built in 1524 and today consists of the convent, but also of a cemetery whose status could be compared to that of Père-Lachaise in Paris. Visiting Novodevichy Convent is one of the great things to do in Moscow, if you want to go a little bit outside of the center!

Discovering Tchistye Proudy district

It’s one of the most popular areas of Moscow, with many cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. It is therefore a place to discover if you want to visit Moscow in 4 days. It is just as pleasant for a stroll as for the discovery of local life. For example, in winter the pond turns into an ice rink.

Visiting the Izmaylovo Kremlin, one of the coolest things to do in Moscow!

The Izmaylovo Kremlin is more of a tourist than a historic place. On the other hand, it is a pretty impressive place to discover, especially on weekends. Inside the Kremlin, there is a flea market where you can find a little bit of everything, but mostly good souvenirs to bring from Moscow. For example, chapka, traditional Russian scarves or matryoshka (Russian dolls). Add the Kremlin and the Izmaïlovo market to your itinerary if you are going to visit Moscow in 4 days, because it is a nice and very colorful place! Visiting the Izmailovo Kremlin is one of the things to do in Moscow, if you want to put colors in your Instagram account! 😉

In 4 days, we will have the opportunity to see several Moscow: Classic Moscow, Moscow of old Russia, Soviet Moscow and a little bit of the new Moscow. So what to visit in Moscow on the 5th day of travel?

What to visit in Moscow in 5 days?

Art lovers will be delighted to discover the Tretyakov Gallery and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, while others will prefer to stroll along Arbat Street, see the buildings of Moskva-City or visit Bunker 42.

Admiring Russian art at Tretyakov Gallery

Founded in 1856 by an industrialist and great lover of art, the gallery has grown over the decades, and then bequeathed to the state. Today the collection includes more than 140,000 pieces, 15,000 of which are paintings. Visiting the Tretyakov Gallery is one of the things to do in Moscow if you want to discover Russian art!

• Where? Pereoulok Lavrouchinski 10. A 5-minute walk from Tretiakovskaya station
• Opening hours. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Closed on Mondays.
• Entry tickets. 500 RUB.

Visiting the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts

The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts presents the treasures of ancient Egypt, the paintings of Rembrandt and Cézanne, a fine collection of Impressionism.

• Where? Ulitsa Volkhonka 12
• Opening hours. Daily: 10: 00-20: 00, except Thursday: 11: 00-21: 00. Closed on Mondays. The boxes close an hour before closing.
• Entry tickets. The prices vary according to the collections from 300 to 750 RUB.

Walking on Arbat Street

All Russians know Rue Arbat. So, walking on Arbat street is one of the things to do in Moscow. However, after the years, little by little it became very touristy. This is a pedestrian street only. There are souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes there, but it is no longer the most authentic neighborhood in the city.

Seeing the buildings of Moskva-City (Moscow City)

Moskva-City is Moscow’s business center, much like Paris’s Defense district. The skyscrapers of Moskva-City are among the tallest in Europe: 373 meters high! Very nice place to see at dusk.

Good to know! You can admire a nice view of Moscow City from the docks of Tarasa Shevchenko. It’s especially beautiful in the evening with all the lights on.

Bunker 42, one of the most unusual things to do in Moscow

Bunker 42 is a secret military complex which was to be used by the Soviets in the event of a nuclear attack: a space of 7000 m² 65 meters underground!

• Where? 5 Kotelnitcheski Lane, 11.
• Prices. 2200 RUB per person
• Opening hours. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Restaurant inside. Original, but rather a tourist trap.

What to visit in Moscow in 6 days or more?

There are still so many places to see, because Moscow is a big megalopolis and there is always something exciting to do there. For example: the ancient Kolomenskoye village or the WINZAVOD contemporary art center .

If you are interested in history and want to see Russian cities on a rather “human scale”, it would certainly be interesting for you to discover the cities of the Golden Ring . For example, it is very easy to get to Sergey Posad from Moscow (less than 2 hours in train). Visiting the Golden Ring is one of the best things to do in Moscow if you are staying more than a 5-6 days.
