"We show no mercy!” 10cc announce the Ultimate Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour

Well, what else do you call the 2024 follow-up to last year’s Ultimate Greatest Hits tour?

10cc have revealed dates for their 2024 UK road trip, which they’ve called the Ultimate Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour. It seems fair enough, since last year’s dates were called the Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour.

Sole remaining founder member Graham Gouldman says: “In our formative years, it was all about the songs – and it’s the same for us now. We play them with love and energy, hit after hit after hit… we show no mercy!”

The pop-art squad’s hits, of course, include Rubber Bullets , Dreadlock Holiday , I’m Not In Love , Donna and I’m Mandy Fly Me , all of which contributed to their total of 15 million album sales in the UK alone.

Gouldman – who covers bass, guitar, keys and vocals – is joined on stage by lead guitarist, bassist and vocalist RIck Fenn, guitarist and percussionist Iain Hornal; keyboardist and guitarist Keith Hayman; and drummer and keyboardist Paul Burgess.

The quartet just completed their longest-running tour of Australia and New Zealand. When 10cc played in Sweden recently, ABBA icon Björn Ulvaeus went to the show and joined them backstage afterwards, resulting in an arrangement for Gouldman and Ulvaeus to share a Swedish stage together in July to discuss the craft of songwriting.

Art pop and rock icons 10cc , have announced the addition of a further 25 concerts to their The Ultimate Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour for Autumn 2024. Considered one of the UK’s premier live touring bands, the extra shows come off the back of the band’s most successful UK tour to date, with 18 concerts through March, including an advance sell-out at London’s 5,200-seat Royal Albert Hall. Having also recently announced an extensive US tour, their first in more than three decades, playing venues such as the Majestic Theater in Dallas, Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles and Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, 10cc’s classic ballad I’m Not In Love, which reached No 2 in the Billboard charts, being included in the soundtrack for Disney’s blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy has certainly help raise interest there. Known for their impeccable live performances, their catalogue of hits sees the band seamlessly transition from art-pop to mock-reggae and impressively harmonised ballads, to prog rock epics Somewhere In Hollywood and Feel The Benefit. Renowned figures in art pop and rock, 10cc, have revealed plans to extend their The Ultimate Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour with an additional 25 concerts set for Autumn 2024.

Recognized as one of the leading live acts in the UK, these extra shows follow the band's highly successful UK tour in March, which included 18 concerts and a sold-out performance at London's Royal Albert Hall, boasting a capacity of 5,200 seats.

Following the announcement of their first extensive US tour in over three decades, the band's touring schedule has now extended across continents, from Australia and New Zealand to Japan, Iceland, Latvia, Scandinavia, and throughout mainland Europe.

Bristol Hippodrome Sunday 17th March 2019. Second time seeing the band. Brilliant musicians playing a great back catalogue. Sound quality perfect and well appreciated by an enthusiastic audience on the last night of the tour.

A brilliant night at Birmingham Symphony Hall. Went as a trip down Memory Lane but WOW - these guys far exceeded expectations. The audience were mesmerised at their musicianship. They were very entertaining too, with a nice smattering of background to the tracks.. Highly recommended - whatever your age!

Awsome! Surreal!

Who would have thought that I'd get the chance to actually SEE the band perform? I could tell that they also enjoyed being on stage in Stockholm, making us happy. They did put on a show that felt genuine and as if it was yesterday the songs were written.

I looked around and thought: What a lot of OLD people here… Then, realizing that they are not OLD at all. We are the same age and still kickin' it! :-) I'd suggest everyone that feel the urge to see them on stage GO DO IT!

Testament to 10cc’s ongoing appeal, the band can count a generation straddling array of fellow artists, from Axl Rose to Sophie Ellis Bextor and Chrissie Hynde to The Feeling’s Dan Gillespie among their millions of fans.

'I'm Not In Love', written by Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart, features prominently in the soundtrack to the 2014 blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy, which spawned a No. 1 album. Meanwhile, a key element of the soundtrack to 2010’s The Social Network, about the creation of Facebook, is Dreadlock Holiday, which also became the Sky Sports cricket theme in Australia.

The band’s longevity is testament to their timeless songs, as is their continuing to traverse the globe and play countries as disparate as Iceland and South Africa, Latvia and Japan, as well as across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Canada and the US.

The hits of one of the most successful and influential English pop bands of the 70s, revisited by original member Graham Gouldman and some new faces.

The legendary 10cc have announced a mammoth 25-date UK tour, performing the hits which have singled them out as one of the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music.

Marking the 45th anniversary of the release of their mega-hit I’m Not In Love, which landed the band a top 5 single in 10 countries and spawned a No 1 album in the US.

Led by co-founder Graham Gouldman, the art-pop band are heralded in equal measure for their ability to craft ingenious songs that also resonated commercially, with eleven top 10 hits, and over 15 million albums sold in the UK alone. The group also have three No 1 singles to their name – Rubber Bullets, Dreadlock Holiday and I’m Not In Love.

The line-up features Gouldman (bass, guitar, vocals), Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion) – both of whom have been with the band since the mid-’70s – Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Paul Canning (vocals, percussion, guitar, keyboards).

Since the most recent live version of the band has been established, 10cc have toured worldwide, including Australia, Japan, Iceland, New Zealand, across the UK and Europe. They’ve performed at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, and sold out London’s 5200 seat Royal Albert Hall in advance last year.

It has been an eventful few years for Graham Gouldman. Not only is 10cc enjoying increasing success around the world, but recognition of his solo achievements has grown too.

Being invited by Ringo Starr to join his All Starr Band for tours of Europe in June 2018 and the USA that September, during which the band played three 10cc songs, elevated his profile yet further.
