  • lanceh801 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Amazing day, guide, and tour This was an awesome day. From the pre-trip communication with Justin and meeting our guide Victor the company was focused on a personal touch for our tour. Victor adjusted the tour as we wanted and was a pleasure to share the journey with him. He made sure we saw everything we wanted and got as many photos as possible. The scenery at the state park was unbelievable. While we couldn’t see it all in one day we saw and visited plenty. There was some small hikes we took to get pictures and views. But definitely not considered a “hiking” tour. But appropriate shoes should be worn to get the most out of the day. Highly recommend this tour and company. Read more Written January 7, 2022
  • Scrumpet 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Excellent day trip Had a fantastic time with Victor on a private tour of the Valley of Fire. We visited Pastel Canyon, Fire Wave, White Domes, Atlatl Rock, Elephant Rock, Petroglyph Canyon and the information Centre with plenty of time for photos and exploring. Victor is not a "tour guide" so don't expect him to know where every Petroglyph is hiding or talk non- stop but he is full of information to answer all your questions, and he happily takes photos for you. Wear decent footwear as you scramble over rocks and walk through soft sand. I loved hunting petroglyphs while my husband enjoyed the stunning vistas. We spotted big horned sheep and ground squirrels. Would gladly come back to the area to explore even more. Thanks Victor, you were amazing! Read more Written January 7, 2022
  • Stella A 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles A must do on your trip to Vegas The entire tour was fabulous! Would definitely recommend as a getaway from the city while visiting Vegas. All three sites are a "must see". The canyon was beautiful. We loved learning about the history of Goodsprings (ghostown) from our tour guide and from our visit to the Pioneer Saloon. Seven Magic Mountains is very unique and worth the stop. We had the absolute best driver and tour guide, Victor! He shared a tremendous amount of knowledge with us throughout the tour. He was extremely professional, and took great care of us the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour, and if requests can be made for your guide, Victor is your man! And of course shout-out to VICTOR for guiding us to our 1 whole day tour. Very helpful, familiar with the place, he knows what he is saying, I will recommend the company to my friends as well as Victor as the driver/tourist guide. Read more Written August 26, 2021

  • A877PJsheilam 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Amazing views This trip started with Victor picking us up at our hotel. Very clean SUV with snacks and water waiting for us. Valley of Fire state park is amazing. Victor made the trip custom to what we wanted. We had stops that were planned around the park, but could hike when we wanted or just take in the views. If you have enough time for more than one adventure, why not choose a tour that combines the beauty of Red Rock Canyon with other nearby attractions ? There’s a lot more to see outside Las Vegas, and the right tour can help you discover the area’s most beautiful sights in one day.

A popular option that still only takes half a day is a tour of Red Rock’s scenic desert cliffs combined with a journey to Seven Magic Mountains , an art installation consisting of seven painted boulders stacked to reach more than 12-meters high.

There’s also the option to visit Hoover Dam with some of these tours for a chance to look out over one of the largest concrete structures in the world. You might even get the chance to enjoy lunch at Hoover Dam Lodge and Casino.

If you’re craving more towering cliffs and red sandstone rock formations that look magical as the sun sets, adding Valley of Fire to your itinerary is the perfect choice.

These tours are longer (up to 9 hours) but will take you deep into Valley of Fire state park, where you can catch sight of petrified sand dunes . You’ll also be able to hike the Mouse’s Tank Trail through a canyon filled with Native American petroglyphs .

Less than 30 minutes from Las Vegas there’s also Boulder City, a charming little town filled with historical heritage and an Art-Deco community with a very unique identity. If you want to walk its charming streets and fit in some artsy shopping, look for a tour that includes a stop there.

And just in case you were wondering, we’ve saved the best for last. Because just steps away from Red Rock Canyon there’s an old west ghost town filled with spooky stories and rumors of haunting things walking its alleyways.

Curious? The Red Rock Canyon and Seven Magic Mountains Tour with Ghost Town option will take you there so you can wander around and try to catch the supernatural on film (well, your phone memory).

Final thoughts

So there you go: with so many Red Rock Canyon tours available, there’s no excuse not to visit this stunning desert landscape so close to Las Vegas.

Heidi Wirtz

We love JHMG – we have climbed with them twice already. We could not have done this without our wonderful guides who helped us with the reservations and logistics. On both occasions, we had a unique, both challenging and fun experience. More importantly, it was very safe. So worth it!

I would highly recommend taking the time to rock climb in Red Rock Canyon with JHMG service. It will be a trip to Vegas you won’t forget. The guides at JHMG are knowledgeable, experienced and will show you the best of what Red Rock has to offer.

Awesome experience: great guide, fantastic routes, perfect location and nice weather. What more could you possibly wish for?

Wow! What can I say? Thank you! I never thought I’d climb again and you guys gave me the confidence and encouragement to do it again. Today’s hike was long, but the view well worth it. Thanks for sharing a part of your life with me. Thanks again.

57hours is committed to providing safe outdoor adventure experiences. We require all guides using our platform to have a COVID-19 safety plan and to make the details of that plan accessible to travelers. In most cases, group sizes will be reduced, guides will avoid overcrowded locations, and other safety measures will be met depending on the location and activity.

We also expect clients to respect local regulations and take measures to protect themselves, guides and the communities they’re travelling to. For more information on COVID-19 measures in Red Rock Canyon, NV, please refer to the Nevada Health Response webpage.

Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel

While getting to Sedona might require more planning than most U.S. destinations, at least the journey here is an unforgettable one. Like most Americans, you’ll probably fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, then hop into a car and cruise down Arizona State Route 89A for two hours.

On this iconic highway, you’ll notice your surroundings morph from an arid desert of craggy hills and spiky saguaro cactus to an expansive landscape marked by majestic red rock formations. These towering, rust-colored buttes, along with the region’s vortexes, are purported to encourage healing and spiritual awakening. Above all else, Sedona is undeniably beautiful— a rare place that manages to energize and quiet the soul at once.

Though accommodations abound, from rustic inns to sprawling resorts, one family-owned hotel situated right on Arizona 89A—yup, the address is 900 W State Rte 89A—offers discerning travelers an experience unlike anything else in town that combines intimacy, luxury, and of course, stirring scenery.

Opened last year, Ambiente Sedona —the first hotel by Sedona-based developer Two Sister Bosses led by Jennifer May and Colleen TeBrake —distinguishes itself as one of the world’s few landscape hotels. A growing trend in the world of hospitality, landscape hotels—other examples include Piaule Catskill here in the States and New Zealand’s The Lindis—are design-driven and sustainability-focused hideaways that allow guests to immerse themselves in nature.

Gmail And YouTube Hackers Bypass Google s 2FA Account Security

Apple confirms innovative iphone 16 pro upgrade, it s going to zero legendary billionaire predicts rapid cataclysmic u s dollar collapse and a 5 trillion post halving bitcoin price boom.

At Ambiente, the magic happens by way of 40 576-square-foot Atriums that seamlessly blend into their natural environment. These cubical, freestanding, and elevated metal structures spread out across three acres swap out standard guest rooms with studio-like spaces outfitted with platform beds, cozy sitting nooks, striking black tubs, and kitchenettes stocked with complementary sips and snacks. Every Atrium also sports a dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass wall so you can marvel at the sweeping views from the comfort of bed, and private rooftop decks for evening stargazing. (Fun fact: Sedona is one of only eight desginated International Dark Sky Communities in the world.)

Despite its location on a busy highway, Ambiente is whisper-quiet—so much so that the only sounds you’ll likely hear will come from birds. (Sedona also happens to be a top birdwatching destination.) Adding to the tranquil atmosphere is Ambiente’s adults-only policy and the fact that it tops out at 80 guests.

Velvet Spa at Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel

While hiking is the most popular way to pass time in Sedona, Ambiente makes it easy if you prefer to stay put. Like the rest of the hotel, the property’s spa Velvet feels like a secluded hideway with three treatment rooms cloaked in deep earth tones, soft lighting, and a hushed mood. Despite its smaller size, Velvet’s treatment menu is extensive, from AcuGlow™ Facials coupling traditional gua sha with the latest LED-light therapy to gentle Babymoon Massages for the expecting mother. Be sure to add on a session at Velvet’s Dark Sky Lounge that cocoons you with soothing vibrations and an ambient soundtrack.

Forty1 is Ambiente, a Landscape Hotel's signature restaurant.

When chef David Duncan took over the reins at Forty1 in February, the timing also coincided with Ambiente’s signature restaurant opening to the public for the first time. Now, everyone can tuck into Duncan’s thoughtful menu showcasing Verde Valley’s diverse bounty. Want to try something unique and hyper-local? Then order the Elk Backstrap. This lesser-known cut of meat isn’t just incredibly tender and flavorful thanks to a sweet-savory Korean Bulgogi marinade, it’s also considered a far more sustainable choice compared to beef—dovetailing with Ambiente’s mission to respect the environment as much as possible.
